Review Hot Kathi Rolls - Kolkata (Calcutta)

A small shop at the starting of Park street offering different type of Kathi roll and few other snacks. I randomly stopped at thia place when was strolling towards park hotel from Park street metro station. Ordered Double chicken egg roll . Even though there were people standing and waiting for there order still they were fast,got my order in around 6-7 minutes. Roll was good stuffed with enough of chicken karhi kabab and perfectly spiced. Though there is another roll centre on park street which is more famous but IMHO you should check this also,if not better but at least equally good.

Tried a Single egg Double chicken roll and it was really delicious. Stuffing inside the roll was tasty and enough in quantity. Service was also fast.

Just a small shop on the street side near the intersection of the Park Street overpass offers little in the way of ambiance or environment, but the food is excellent. Huge roll to fill you up. Have the option to double up on chicken or mutton with eggs in a variety of combinations. Really excellent dish. I regularly ate egg chicken rolls. It was lip-smacking, I assure you. When it comes to the costs, they are a little on the high side, but given that it is on Park Street, you can pretty much expect it. I would suggest it to everyone who enjoys rolls!

Not much to go for atmosphere or ambience..just a small shop on the street side near the junction of Park Street flyover..but food is really good. Huge roll to fill you.. have options of chicken or mutton to double up with egg as you can with several combinations.. really tasty food. Reasonable price good speedy service.. open atleast till 10 pm. Overall a great place for kati roll.

Famous stop for Roll lovers at Park Street and a direct competitor of another famous Kusum Roll outlet. Taste and quality at both the places are similar - depends how far you would want to walk down the street to satisfy your craving for roll. Rolls are expensive but the crowd in front of the shop will speak it’s popularity. Tasted good but missed it originality.

So yes, after being recommended by one of my friends, I went to taste it's rolls. They provide egg, chicken and mutton rolls. I had a single egg double chicken roll. Trust me, it was lip smacking. If I talk about it's prices, ya they're a tad bit expensive, but considering the fact that it's located on Park street, you can pretty much expect it. I'd recommended it for all the roll lovers out there!

I was just passing by and I found out this stall.... My order was Egg Chicken Roll and trust me I liked the taste and crisp🔥 I'll rate 8/10. They have mutton rolls and few snacks as well.. According to price... it's in the middle i.e. neither that expensive nor that cheap.

I've literally tried out most of their rolls but I believe their double chicken or double mutton roll is the best you can try. I just loved it. You might have to wait for your turn as the counter stays busy all the time but definitely it's worth the wait. Kolkata is the king of rolls among all the other cities, and this outlet does represent the city of joy truly well. It's a very busy shop, with orders coming on demand every minute. They do keep up with that very efficiently; we did not have to wait much long. ₹50 for a chicken roll is slightly high by Kolkata standard, but definitely you won't be bothered much about that once you start biting it. Parathas are crunchy, and the chicken quantity is fine enough. Overall, a genuinely good place to have some hot kathi roll.

A cute little food takeaway joint located near the park street crossing, this place offers a variety of veg and non veg rolls including the kebab kathi rolls. We tried their egg chicken rolls and even though we had to wait for a while, the food was totally worth it. Juicy succulent pieces of chicken tossed in a spicy gravy sauce and then wrapped in a well fried paratha, the rolls were yumm. Ordered paneer roll and chicken roll...both the rolls tasted good, parathas was crispy,thin and the size of chicken roll is that much huge that it can be easily shared by two....the drawback is that the stuffing is too much oily and full of onions(I also mentioned them not to add but they do🙁)...bki over all experience taste wise was good 😊😊

Surprisingly very bad. I guess the delivering of roll is not a good idea. Paratha was Thick as hell, egg was not fried well on it either. Very bland n no taste of calcutta style roll. Absolutely no no. Kusum rolls are much much better, even if you call for delivery.

I have been in several shops of Kolkata in search of the best chicken roll I was always disappointed. When I had chicken roll of the shop I was mesmerized. It was lip smacking . I would like to recommend this shop to all the kathi roll lovers.

Today I went here, waited for more than half-an hour after giving the order of two egg rolls. And then they gave us two egg rolls, one of those was not even properly fried. Here I am posting the photograph as a prove. And when I complaint they refused to talk about it. They are charging 30Rs. for each of these egg rolls and this is the quality. I am highly disappointed and indignant as a consumer.

This is the third time I tried their rolls , hoping every time to find a reason why is this so popular. But I was disappointed each time. Worst roll in Kolkata. I never ate such a bad roll in my whole life. Even the cheap para roll shops are far better than this. Paratha is hard and rubbery.

The double chicken roll that i ordered today was horrible. The paratha was too hard to be eaten and the stuffing inside was ok sought. Pls serve people better. We are not doing charity to food houses. And zomato pls do a thorough review from your side before publishing anything on your page.

I ordered 3 egg chicken rolls and and an egg roll. They both tasted good but the paratha was quite chewy and hard to tear and the egg chicken rolls had very 2 pieces of chicken . I would rather prefer rolls from Arsalan at the same price.

Have been seeing this joint since childhood but tasted the first time. And then it dawned that why the joint has never grown. Paneer roll was what we had ordered. First, although the paneer is soft, but the oil used is of very inferior quality and flows in abundance. Parathas are the tug of war variety. Too much of pepper was sprinkled. Overall a very sorry experience.

I received the food i.e. Mutton Rolls, six in number on time. Slight delay was there, but owing to Diwali, it could be excused. However, the Rolls belied my expectation. The kebab was of lowest grade meat, much inferior to the price charged i.e Rs. 70 a piece, far from melting in the mouth it required quite a deal of labour to even swallow the same. The paratha was not fried properly, it appeared that it was fried in a hurry. Hence, intermittent parts of the same remained on a 'no boil' state, the Roll were full of gravy, quite unlike how it should ideally be. Overall, the food quality disappointed me. Had Roll from this outlet after a gap of at least 3 years, but surely the quality deteriorated.
