Armaan biriyani is 1000 times better than any other biriyani at this price range. Don't know some people why post that it's quite expensive. They charge 90 rs for chicken and for mutton it's 140 only. If u are expecting chicken is 50 and mutton is 90 then I think you are mad. Overall at these price no one can beat armaan biriyani till now. Whenever I feel craving for biriyani I go for armaan biriyani just because it's pocket friend and tasty also thank you soo much

Review date: 18.3.23, dining date: 31.12.22 I liked the special chicken biryani which I had in an office treat, brought from the eatery. Being a mutton biriyani loyalist, chicken biryani (Special- Rs 145 with egg) is not my thing but I liked the light taste of the rice, perfect dum-cooked potato and the exceptionally tender and flavourful chicken (even while having it in an air-conditioned environment several kilometres away). Even a solid piece felt tender! Generally chicken gets stiff in such a scenario. They filled up the container with rice and potato and packed a paper box with two pieces of chicken and an egg, therby making it an unusually loaded portion.

Quality is average. quantity is ok as per piece. Generally they serve 1pc. Chicken or Mutton + 1pc. Potato + Rice in paper box. Egg, salad & container pack available with extra charge.

Chicken biryani cost ₹80 and the amount of rice and the quality of rice is just awesome to be honest. I tasted mutton biryani once and the mutton was not good.

It is a nice and pocket friendly restaurant. The food quality is also very good and one plate is enough to serve one person.

I am a Biryani lover & have eaten over all famous & renowned restaurant around the city. What amaze me that the taste & quantity they provide at less than 100₹ which truly unbelievable, moreover after having a Biryani over here you will definitely hesitate to spend 300-400 bucks at the famous places.

First time tried Arman Mutton biryani ,it was the best biryani i've had till date.Totally value for money! worth trying. A very Famous biryani outlet in Picnic Garden.

Ordered chicken biryani , the biryani was extremely oily , even the packaging was fully oil soaked , this is the worst biryani of Kolkata. Oil+ traces of rice + chicken (medium sized , was well cooked but tasteless) . Rs. 200 wasted .

Packaging was ok, no leakages but I wonder why they didn't tape it?! The mutton in both the items was relatively well cooked, a change from the usual. However, the taste was pretty avg for the kind of oil added. Again an avg experience at best.

Box not sealed with zomato tape hence looked like open on delivery. Quantity of chicken was 25% of the 1 piece size provided in past orders. Very disappointed .

Arman biryani is most popular restaurant in picnic garden.I ordered two mutton biryani through zomato on 4th April 2020 I could not write a review that time bcoz I was too busy.So the biryani was super Good it had the perfect flavours and the texture was very fine and enough quantity for one.Lip smacking food at this place.pocket and tummy friendly finger licking Arman biryani.Well packed and craving for more.

I have order 4 chicken biriyani. I am very dissatisfied. Quality of food is not up to the mark. Chicken pieces are very little and all are very simple pieces. They should provide at least one leg pieces. But there are no leg pieces out of four contener.

I ordered mutton biryani and chicken chap from this outlet...the delivery was on time and the taste of the biryani was decent and the mutton size was good considering the price..I didn't like the chicken chap...the price is really very low and if you want to try good biryani with less price then you must consider this place 😁

The Chicken Biryani out here costs 130 bucks which is at par with delivery-only restaurants but the biryani here tastes very very pale. I am fully aware that Kolkata biryani has a very subtle taste and despite that, I would say, this outlet kind of robs your experience.<br/>The cooking of rice is good, the chicken was average but the whole biryani experience was not. I have had biryani from many low cost outlets, but, this turns out to be one of the worst.<br/><br/>Overall, I would say, to avoid this.

Quality and quantity was good. Value for money. But the management of this restaurant sucks. Let me tell you in detail, 1st time i ordered Chicken biriyani with 1 extra chicken piece worth Rs.50 but when it was received there was only 1 piece in the box. Upon calling the restaurant, I was told they will compensate this on my next order. Next week I ordered same item & called them just after ordering n they told they will give 1 extra chicken but again there was a single piece. Again I called them but they denied. After a long conversation they decided to refund Rs.50 in my Paytm wallet. And they did it..but it was a bad harassment to me. Overall bad experience😓

This place really serves good biriyani.. being a pocket frendly one , I would recommend this highly. The rice grains are long, good aroma , less oil and soft and succulent mutton pieces.

Late night saviour for good biriyani but they serve in regular paper packs which spoils the aroma while being delivered to you. The package also comes stained because of the excess oil used in the food.<br/>Can definitely do better than what they serve.

Good taste but very less quantity... and the chicken piece in the biriyani is but smelly. Just wash it better and then cook and increase the quantity...

The best part of the entire order was the quick and polite delivery from Zomato. I never had this kind of biriyani earlier, what is it? Looks like biriyani but smell and taste was like some thing like boiled rice with added color. Mutton chup is mostly made out of goat, being non-vegeterian i have tasted goat earlier. So before writing I have carefully checked other reviews, so please stop fooling people. Mutton chup smells like fish curry and I never tasted mutton like this one. Utterly disgusting experience.

Ordered for mutton egg biriyani the food was awful it had burnt taste and was oily too there was no potato in one of the packet and the ghol taste was too bitter...in all very bad quality of food.

I ordered chicken biriyani with ghol and salad from this restaurant by zomato. I got all the meals at rs. 79 only just because of zomato evening snacks. The quantity of biriyani was really sufficient for 1person. They provide ghol with their biriyani but i personally think they must improve their quality of ghol, because it was too sour. But the taste of biriyani was good and they also provide salad.

Just don't go to this place it has the most terrible biryani to offer. The taste as well as the quality sucks the quantity of the food is also very less and it's damn oily!

Well, I ordered Chicken Biriyani, the fragrance and flavour was good, but the food was undercooked. Rice needed to cooked for few more minutes as it was hard, chicken piece was chewey and hard and dry inside, potato was not boiled properly and was raw in the middle. I am sorry, but I didn't enjoy the meal.

Total waste of money.. I never had eat this kind of bad food in my life.. Zomato should band this type of resturent.. Mutton Chap is as bad as garbage.. I threw it.. Waste of money.. Zomato should return my money back..

At the price I paid the biryani was neither bad nor good, just ok. However, one thing I would like to mention is that the chicken pieces were really small, I ordered an extra chicken the size of which was good, but the ones in biryani were really small. Packaging and all was fine. If anybody is craving for cheap biryani....go for it.....not that bad afterall.....!!!

If you go through their menu - Chicken Biryani is priced at Rs 80 and an extra egg costs Rs 7. But if you order online, the same Chicken with egg biryani comes out to be Rs 120.<br/><br/>I would have not brought that up if the biryani was not a tasteless pile of boiled yellow and white rice with an over-boiled egg and chicken piece the size of a golf ball. You suppose a food outlet which has "biryani" in it's name can make "biryani", but not in this scenario.<br/><br/>The only good thing about the biryani was the potato.
