Review Paris Cafe - Kolkata (Calcutta)

The decor of the cafe is spectacular and it does give you a European sensation. The food and coffee are really good. For the dessert lover it is fine destination. Ambience & architecture gives you feeling of paris. Rainbow cake is the best among desserts and one must try it.This cafe found to be a good place for relaxing.

Mom's birthday, we were around the Ballygunge area and found it hard to locate a store. Found Paris Cafe via Google maps and headed straight there... Loved the set up and interior, amazing. Staff was very polite and friendly, educated us on the items that were displayed. We spotted the cake we liked and fell in love with it right away!! Mom loved the cake and so did everyone else. I guess it was called Velvet cake or something, image attached. Parking available right outside, cards and cash accepted here. We did not have time to taste/try anything else but when we got home and tasted their cake, yum yum😋😋. Definitely coming back for more... If you're chasing a great birthday cake, this is the place. Reasonable price too. Worth it!! Highly recommending PARIS CAFE to all my friends and cake lovers. Big ups guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice cafe been visiting since years when it opened. Ambience and seating area is very traditionally done same as in Paris . First time I visited this place only to try macaroon because before that I have never tried . Having a coffee with one of there dessert best thing to do . Have tried many food items also and they were good. I would say it’s an fine dine kind of cafe

The Paris (read French) themed cafe is pretty nice. Serves good food and has patient staff. A little slow on the orders but its nice to wait as the ambience is nice. Menus in french and other classics. The Only con is that it is a bit small, but its cosy.

A cosy place worth to remember with perfect cafe memories. We(me & my wife) ordered 1 cup Americana, 1 cup expresso and 1 Mexican veg pizza. Enjoyed each bit of food with lovely ambience and decent warmth of feeling absolute welcome. Love to go back again & again. Thanks to the owner for maintaining this standard of professionalism.

Awesome Food. Relatively quiet place. A bit small but that's not an issue at all. You get five star presentation for a not so five star price. Definitely worth a visit for a different kind of ambience.

Loved the food, we had cheese waffles, mushroom pizza and Nutella crepe.....all were delicious and well presented. Service was pretty prompt. Very small cafe but cute decor. Will surely be back.

A nice cosy place with seating arrangements for about 20 people. It serves good food which will make you visit this place again and again. I have tried their Coffee and Lasagna and both were good. Recommended for a casual hangout or meet-up.

A brilliant little cafe/patisserie for breakfast. Though the menu is a little limited compared to a full fledged breakfast cafe, it has some unique items, like quiches. We tried: 1. Espresso - 5⭐️ [Now espressos are usually espressos, but what sets Paris Cafe apart is the cute little sponge cake they serve with it, on the house] 2. Mushroom Quiche - 4.5⭐️ [Soft and fresh, the shrooms practically melts in your mouth] 3. Rainbow cake - 4.5⭐️ [The spinge base was pretty soft, and not overwhelmingly sweet] 4. Hazelnut Pop - 4⭐️ [A little stronger on the sweeter side, this hazelnut and chocolate popsicle gives a good sugar rush] 5. Oreo shake - 3⭐️ [More of an oreo smoothie than a shake; missed the signature crunchiness] The decor reminded of European Renaissance. Staff is extremely polite. A hearty 4⭐️ to this outlet. Good job 👏

#25thDecember #ChristmasDiaries What better way to enjoy that special day than feasting on an extremely delicious #SANTASHAT (that's what it has been named aptly).. Decadent chocolate mousse wrapped with a layer of delicious strawberry coating - #heavenly to say the least!! Add to that - the vibes of this beautiful bakery.. Oh, I love their #RainbowPastry as well amongst other delights.. Great job Sneha Singhi.. My humble two cents: #MUSTTRY.. Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter continues.. My journey can also be tracked on #Instagram via @epicureancinetrotter By the way, have you joined Kolkata Food Trotters on FACEBOOK yet??

I guess the red velvet cheese cake is not of my type... A bit too overrated... But the rainbow cake is a pure beauty... From taste to texture everything... And the macaroons too... It's too good.

The paris cafe is located at Ashutosh Chowdary Ave, Opposite Ice Skating Rink, Ballygunge Park, Ballygunge, Kolkata. This is a very well decorated place and a beautiful place for chilling. The food items are very good and refreshing. There you can find macarons , rainbows cakes , red velvet and many deserts. And also pizza and many good food items.

The cafe's a very pretty & a cozy place with very comfortable atmosphere. The dishes are tasty & pocket friendly as well. Their black forest pasty was too good but Exquis was too sweet. Mushroon quiche was below average. Among Macchiato & Con Panna the latter is a must try.

A very petite French eatery..serves some delicious desserts and savouries. Not too hard on the pocket but the only downside being it doesn't serve non vegetarian fare..

what a beautiful place this is.. :D ..!!... the decor has a vintage and rustic touch which i absolutely love...i am all about wildflowers.. and guess what.!!??!!...they have lavenders and some dried flowers kept on each of the tables....:)... i had my breakfast here today... food was good...i really enjoyed it...and the best part is this cafe is reasonably priced.. (cheaper than ccd, flurys..)....it won't burn a hole in your pocket.... :)) ... highly recommend this place for the dreamers and the old souls ...bon appétit .. <3 ..!..

Very unprofessional...the Alipore cafe server put his hand in my macaroons the other day before packing them which was a huge hygiene issue for me...again today when I went to buy a dream come true entire cake the same person have me a broken cake and fixed it in a messy way. Very disappointed...been going to the Ballygunge one now for so long never had such issues...this one particular server in the Alipore cafe is ruining it...please management pay attention!

Best place . Awesome food. Awesome ambience and excellent staff. Wish I could give it 10 stars

When a Cafe cant act in a professional manner, they don't deserve a better rating,...Other than bragging about international recipes and cuisine, if it can gather some positive attitude towards customer feedback/complaint, that will help them in the long run. I can only smell arrogance. Thank You Paris Cafe. Never again !!!!
Khushboo Chokhani
Chocolate mousse cake was horrible.. it was so bitter that nobody liked it. Moreover ur salesperson at the store has said its nt bitter at all.

I gained 7 pounds in 10 days. I blame the DELICIOUS food at Paris Cafe. I just couldn't stop eating! I came here almost every day!

I was walking down from Quest on a wet Saturday afternoon craving for a strong mug of coffee and some sandwiches. Paris Café I read to my left. I peeped in. The vintage decor and two cute round empty tables invited me. Sandwich was average and they don't serve non-veg but boy, that cappuccino blew me. I'll go back for that cuppa alone.

love the cakes, shakes, feel and ambiance. #anabsolutedelight

I ordered a rainbow cake slice and a cup of coffee.. the cake tastes okay coffee was also fine. I was particularly excited about the ambience but the place is really small, sitting are is small and has 4-5 tables, the place is not even well lit!!

I’m extremely sorry to say this but the taste I used to crave from Paris cafe is no longer there. I ordered two pasto pasta, one mushroom pasta and three pastries. The taste is normal now n the pastries is the worst as there are smelling like medicine.
Akansha Laddha
All those looking for some super delicious side dishes along with a bite of decadent desserts, the Paris Cafe is a must visit! Apart from their heavenly desserts, they have a great snacks menu! My favourite pick is their spinach and cheese crepe! 🧀

This is a very cute place with ultra cute cakes and cupcakes . It surely is a lil not so budget friendly but it surely can be a one time visit for those cute looking desserts . Specially the different types of macaroons are really delicious

We enjoy our breakfast dates the most! We hop to different places to try out their sandwiches and coffee! Must say their grilled chicken sandwich is absolutely to die for! And order their rainbow slice cake for sure! Such soul satisfying dessert is real rare to find!

So after waiting for so long time I had a chance to visit this outlet.. honestly,I was not happy with the ambiance..its so small place. It has only 4-5 tables. The seating area is not good.I was so excited to try their menu& especially Rainbow cake and breads..so here is my detailed review<br/><br/>Seating area:3*<br/><br/>Grilled vegetable pizza:I seriously liked there pizza very much..They had some mushrooms, zucchini, tomato, olives and ofcourse cheese..it's a thin crust pizza.its very good. One can give that a try for sure<br/><br/>Quality and quantity:5* <br/>Taste:5*<br/>Recommend:yes for sure<br/>Cost:250 rs<br/><br/>Rainbow cake:i read all the reviews before going there. As rainbow cake is in bestsellers I ordered it.i didn't like it much.its just like normal cake which we can get it normal bakers.I so attractive to see the cake but the taste is not up to the mark.We can have much better cake in normal bakers.Totally disappointed by this.<br/><br/>Taste:3*..it don't recommend it<br/>Portion size:good for 1-2<br/><br/>Carmel cappuccino:I liked the taste for this cappuccino<br/><br/>Rating:5* recommend<br/><br/>Dark cappuccino:I didn't liked it..so 2*<br/><br/>Pancake: Pancakes are good.i liked them. They are so soft and yes do give them a try when u vist<br/><br/>Taste:4*<br/><br/>Overall experience:3.5*

Ordered a cold coffee and it was heavenly..Loved the ambience and the food..

INR40 for this utterly miniscule cup cake. Please see pics attached. I know it tastes and looks great. But what is this? Either scrap this size (atm theres a small and big variant) or please increase the size. This seems so ridiculous to hold or have this such a small cupcake and that to pay INR40 which by any means is not less considering the size of the cake. I used to be almost a daily visitor of Paris Cafe and used to enjoy a cup of Batasia or Benares along with may be a grilled sandwich and used to love them. But ordered these via an app today and got shocked to see how probably things have changed over the past 7-8 months may be when that I have stopped visiting the branch (Ballygunge).

This cafe is known in the city for its sweet savouries and amazing parisian decor and cutlery. Got to have their chocolate heart filled with numerous other sugar treats this valentines day. And it was so so good plus such a treat to the eyes and taste buds. A big thumbs up for this place always.

Paris cafe serves foods and desserts of awesome taste. Their rainbow cake and macarons are always special. I visited their ballygunge outlet. I tasted here Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Rainbow cake, Choco Macaron and Hot Chocolate. The ambience of this cafe is also very beautiful. Its a great place to spend time with friends.

Cakes on Christmas is compulsory. And so we headed to this quaint little cafe for a dessert. We ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake slice and it was delicious. The amount of cream cheese was actually more than enough. The cake was also baked beautifully.

It’s a small place with fancy decor, the place is mainly famous for it’s pastries and coffee. The staff are friendly. The ambience is cute and it's attractive.<br/>“Red relvet cup cake cream”<br/>"Lemon tart "<br/>"Choco tart "<br/>"Melted choco fudge "<br/>" Rainbow Cake "<br/>" Red Velvet pancakes "<br/>" Spinach Crepe"<br/>They all are tasted the way our tongue wanted it to be , Everything here is outstanding it melts down in the mouth I simply love all of them . I really loved Paris Cafe! We ordered- 1. Chocolate fudge pastry(5/5): Omg, it’s delicious 😋 2. Dream Come True(3/5) : A colourful pastry, very soft but not that good in taste 😢 3. Hot Chocolate(5/5) : I so loved the spoon shaped chocolate which came with hot chocolate. That was cute🥰 4. Oreo Shake(5/5) : Yummy❤️

This cafe is near Ice skating rink Ballygunge. It's a small cafe. This cute little place caught my heart with nice decors and pastries coffee and breads kn the shelves, also have books and it was kinda nice experience . I am obsessed with food and spending much on desserts what I never liked but heard so much praises about this place so decided to celebrate my friend's birthday here.<br/>Instead of ordering a full cake we ordered different pastries to have a try. We ordered their Rainbow Pastry which I heard of much and it was very tasty soft. Apart from that we ordered Caramel au Chocolate pastry, Chocolate Warm Tart and Black Forest pastries.<br/>Really loved this place and looking forward to visit here in future.<br/>I think everyone should give it a try.

This place in ballygunj has some different fan base because of their awesome tastefull food and decorarions, in spite of being a little tiny place they have inside. Sitting arrangement is hardly for 12 people over here. But the decorations i must say its really awespicious.. the food quality and quantity is excellent here. The price is also very nominal. It is the one of best places to have a hangout with your lived ines and buddys.<br/>My recommendation quocient is<br/>9/10 for this place.<br/>Really looking forward to go over here very very soon.

Red velvet cream cheese tasting like soap and inedible.macaron too were soapy but slightly better. Wasted money. Unexpected and dissatisfied.<br/>Liked chocolate brownie pastry through.

<br/>The ambience is cute, cosy, small but nicely decorated with Old-European theme.<br/>We had-<br/>📌Classic Magherita with sundried tomatoes - This pizza priced at Rs. 210 was tasty and very juicy, but not that cheesy. This thin crust pizza was very different from most of cafes in kolkata.<br/><br/>📌Red velvet pancakes with chocolate sauce- Priced at Rs. 130+tax these were literally delicious. It was perfectly flavoured and a must try.<br/>If you really want to try something different, go for this cute and instaworthy cafe irrespective of the higher prices.<br/>
Namrata Bhandari
A cute small and cozy dessert parlour with Victorian style decor. It can accommodate only 10-15 people.<br/>Coming to the desserts- tried the dream cake which is basically rainbow cake. It looks so pretty and Instagram worthy. But the taste isn't good as it looks.<br/>Also tried the blueberry cheesecake- this one is a clear winner. Taste is amazing and it basically melts in the mouth.<br/>Overall pricing is bit on the higher side, but the cakes are worth it.

The cutest pastry i had ever eaten<br/>Dream come true it is in true sense<br/>The rainbow theme going on throughout the pastry is simply mesmerising to watch<br/>N for taste i would rate 5/5<br/>If have not tried yet please do !!<br/>It costed us around rs 180

A victorian setup with a side of straight-out-of-a-movie set vibe, acoustic music and the lingering aroma of freshly baked food,I'd hundred percent recommend an 'oui' to everyone who has this place in their wishlist inorder to savour authentic patesserie food. The interior is almost good with the pastel wallpapers paired with the brazen and golden hued antiques and a vintage mirror.<br/>The pocket pinch is reasonable taking into consideration the quality of food being served.<br/>The cuisine served in this boulange is ranging from varieties of coffee, shakes, crepes, pizza and pastries and tart. Must visit for all sweet-tooths.<br/><br/>I ordered:<br/>2 x Cappuccino: Rs.260<br/>1x Brownie shake: Rs.150<br/>1x Lemon tart: Rs. 95<br/>1x Mushroom Quiche: Rs. 140<br/>The bill amounting to the total of: Rs. 677(inclusive of tax).<br/>#zomato #foodporn #foodie #food #swiggy #foodblogger #foodstagram #foodgasm #instafood #foodphotography #foodies #ubereats #foodgram #india #foodlover #pergikuliner #instagram #delicious #yummy #pune #like #indianfood #qraved #anakjajan #travelokaeats #jktfoodbang #zomatogold #kulinerjakarta #jktfooddestination #bhfyp

If you want mouth watering pastry in town this is the one. The cakes are like real heaven feels . Like even the red velvet cakes taste so damn great. I usually buy from here a must try.

I was deciding on what dessert to have with my coffee this morning and the server was incessantly pushing the gluten free sugar free dairy free cake slice. Being a Home baker myself I thought ok let me try. So I gave in and ordered the same. I can’t tell you just how bad it was. Definitely stale, immediately had a terrible sick feeling and the bad after taste still haunts me. I just ate the one bite and threw the rest. <br/>Please ask your servers to not push stale meals to clients to get them off the inventory. It’s the worst way to handle your business.

A quaint and cozy cafe, with old vintage music playing to make you feel like you're literally in one of those picturesque cafes in Paris.<br/>It can accomodate around 10-15 people at a time. The decor gives you an old-world feeling. The food tasted extremely nice. The grilled vegetable pizza is one of the best pizzas that I had in a while. The spaghetti in mushroom and cheese sauce had a generous amount of both the items in it, which made it more delicious.<br/>Oreo and cream frappe as well as caramel frappe had distinct flavours to it, not too sweet, just the perfect amount of cream. The show stealer is the 'Dream Come True' cake slice, which justifies its name. Each layer has a different flavour and aroma, and when eaten together it's literally like a dream come true.

Another best joint for food lover - Paris Cafe<br/><br/>It's located in -1, 1, Ashutosh Chowdary Ave, Opposite Ice Skating Rink, Ballygunge Park, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal 700019.<br/>They have there another branch in Slat lake. The cafe isn't quite big it has a sitting arrangement of about 7-10 people , the hospitality of the staff is lovely and the interior decor including the ambience just somewhat similar to Persian style.<br/>They make delicious pastries , cakes , and no doubt the items for snacks are awesome too.<br/>We just ordered Rainbow Cake - it a pastry which has sever layers , each one of them have a different flavour and it was topped with Vanila Cream.<br/><br/>Margherita pizza - Pizza Margherita (more commonly known in English as Margherita Pizza) is a typical Neapolitan pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, salt and extra-virgin olive oil. It just tasted flavoursome.<br/><br/>Overall it's a lovely cake shop, if you are plan to hang out with your friends or loved ones it's a perfect place were you can come. And it will be worth it.<br/><br/>#am2pmfood #Panchphoron #Zomatokolkta #Foodlovers.<br/>

Although I'm a hardcore food lover, but spending lavishly on just dessert has never been something I approve of. However, having heard such praise about this place, I decided to give myself a treat on my birthday. Got the Red Velvet Pastry with Cream Cheese & the Dream Come True Pastry. Having spent Rs.328/- only for just two pastries (yes it's a big deal for me despite knowing that it's a posh cafe), I had really high hopes that the taste will transcend me to dessert nirvana. But the first bite of the red velvet pastry left me in depression. The icing on top tasted nothing less than detergent soap, and the sponge was a bit bitter and left the insides of my mouth dark maroon in colour. The dream come true pastry will assure you that any dream is far more extravagant than this pastry. Extremely light and ordinary in taste, this too left no such lasting impression on me.<br/>A sigh from a crazy red velvet cream cheese fanatic, Paris Cafe was heartbreaking.

Had this delicious cake at Paris Cafe. It's huge and is called rainbow cake. I went with my best friend and we two were full by only one piece .

The most stringiest pizza we have had in a while. The scouts were on hunt of a rainbow cake and Google lead us to this Cafe and we can't thank Google enough.. Cute little place round the corner with vintage taste decor. The rainbow cake is yummmmm... We also tried pizza which was another big hit with us. Liked the savory crepes too... Another visit expected in a few days as we have eyes on the avenger stick.

Sometimes the smaller things make the biggest of impact. Such was their services and savoury food which will give everyone a reason to visit again! Had always heard about the rainbow cake from this place. It was just as perfect as everyone described. Also, the red velvet pancakes were absolutely delightful. The flavour was just perfect.

This cafe is near ice skating ring and opens at 5pm in the evening. It is a small cafe/bakery. The rainbow cake is very good and so is the margherita pizza (with sun dried tomatoes and basil) , the panini is amazing, macaroons and cupcake too.
Sandeepta Sinha
This is a small cafe near ballygunge. The ambiance of the cafe was nice and desserts were very appealing to eyes. I ordered chocolate and hazelnut bar, lemon tart and rose macaron. The rose maracon had a very delicate rose flavour. But both the chocolate bar and macaron were too sweet for me. The chocolate bar was not freshly made as I sense it through smelling it. The lemon tart was a bit eggy and was not lemony at all.

This was my 2nd visit to Paris cafe and I was very disappointed with my latter visit. We ordered cream and Oreo shake and grilled waffle sandwich.<br/>The Oreo shake was good in quantity. But the taste was bad. It was too watery and didn't get any flavour of chocolate or Oreo. INR-110<br/>Grilled waffle sandwich was too less in quantity and was not worth the price. Although, the veggies were grilled to perfection and it was full of flavours. INR-230<br/>Service could have been better. They took so much to deliver a sandwich and a shake.<br/>Pocket pinch-383 inclusive of taxes.

A pretty little cafe in Ballygunge, a nice and cosy place to go out on a date. If Paris is your dream destination, do visit this place again.<br/>Originally it was the craving for blueberry Cheesecake which landed me in this cafe. It's a treat for the eyes to watch their dessert items on display. No wonder I ended up ordering a slice of red-velvet cake and rainbow cake, in addition to blueberry cheesecake. I didn't have time to savour these desserts there, so I brought them home. I was a let down a bit by the taste of Cheesecake, yes I have tasted better. But, the red-velvet cake made up for it. But the rainbow cake was the show-stopper. It was so pretty, so light and fluffy, so creamy, so yummy, with just the right amount of sweetness. They call this cake 'dream come true', and rightly so Do not give this cake a miss.<br/>P. S I am definitely coming back here.

The coffee and the macaroni pasta of this place is my all time favorite order at this place. The ambiance is nice and to me its a perfect place for the coffee

Hv received this rainbow cake ,signature cake of Paris cafe in very small cake box ,where the cake stand even doesn’t fit .The cake was all over box .the charm was ruined .staff of Paris cafe was very rudely behaved when we spoke to them .According to them ,this is the way they. Deliver their perfect signature rainbow cake.

I think im in love with this place. I keep going here with my friends everytime i get a chance. The spaghetti in white sauce and the nutella chocolate crepe is our regular. These 2 are the one to die for. I cant compare it with anywhere else. Its delicious and the place is really pretty itself❤️

This is just an amazing place which will definitely define the name giving you paris vibes which will make you fall in love with the amazing food and the ambience of the place the decor is just amazing. If you visit this place definitely try the cheese waffle.

The ambience and the vibe of the place is really nice and cute. Their food concept is very unique and refreshing. The service is quite good as well.

Firstly I am not very fond of veg food. Not even a café lover. But this is the only place I will visit again and again. A pocket friendly café for students and also a good place for having chitchat to serious discussions. Awesome ambience with friendly stuffs. We ordered Oreo shake, strawberry shake and mashroom crêpe. Crepe was mouthwatering and delicious. Though the Oreo shake was tasty. But the strawberry shake was not good enough.
Madhuraa Saha
The ambience is great and it's the decor which attracts me the most. The food is also great there. The red velvet cheese cake is a must try for all.
Ishita Baidya
The ambience was so cute and beautiful and the vibes inside is so good and refreshing. The food is also very delicious, specially the red velvet pan cake with chocolate sauce, it was amazing. Cheesey waffles is the must try. Overall it was a very good experience, would like to visit again.

I went to this place a few days back. The food was good but I found it a bit overpriced. The cafe although beautiful is a bit congested which I wasn't expecting after going through it's pictures online. However, we ordered Caramel hot chocolate, Oreo and Cream shake and Rainbow pastry. The pastry was really yum and so was the hot chocolate. The hot chocolate comes with a pair of small cupcakes and a spoon shaped chocolate which I found really cute. The shake was okayish.<br/>Overall I would give it a 3.8/5

It is a pretty cute cafe i have ever visited... I went there to try the rainbow cake and was quite good.... But the cafe mocha was not that much good as in ccd....❤❤

I visited this place after 7 years (i visited it when this cute store opened circa 2012-13) with a friend to whom i have raved about this place. I have ordered the red velvet cheese cream cake slice (pic). I was expecting a smooth cream. But this turned out to be damp and there are too much artificial colorant in the pastry that it left reddish marks in my teeth when i took a bite. And the taste was completely off. When i asked the store attendant to taste and check...he said that it is completely fine and ‘politely‘ said that It was probably fault with my taste buds. Anyway, we also ordered a chocolate fudge which was also average. These were also 1 day old stock as confirmed by the attendant. I was really really disappointed. It pains me to say it but the quality has gone downhill. Very much heart-breaking.

Last week I ordered Rainbow cake for my birthday..this is one of the item the outlet is famous for and I have had this before once and was satisfied..so this time bought one but was extremely disappointed with the quality of the cake as it was stale in some parts and turned sour. The price is high but the quality is not up to the mark.
Sonali
Cafe is the cutest place to visit. The interiors make the experience even better. I had ordered their 'dont break my heart' chocolate. The concept was very unique and though the price was a little too much. The chocolate tasted good, had macaroons in them along with a personalised message. Overall, a nice experience. 👍🏻

The red velvet cheese cake was my favourite. One of the best cheeze cake I had had ever.. I got a bad addiction to it as I m a sweet tooth and used to order it very frequently (almost twice thrice a week) via the online apps and delivery. The alipore guy might be recognising me also as I visited there frequently just to collect it at times. The app delivery used to come from Ballygunge though I stay in New Alipore (their technical problem ). Yesterday I ordered it and instead of the cheeze cake something else in red velvet was delivered to me. It didn’t look the the regular triangle slice cheeze cake which I used to order. In calling I got to know the cheeze cake pattern of their had changed in shape. In now angle was it a cheeze cake and to my horror the taste was horrible. It had got a finayl smell to it and a wierd taste. It had practically rottened or something fell on it I don’t know. The taste was just unbearable.I called and thought of going to show the Alipore branch, but I got to know that has been shut and the Ballygunge was far for me to go yesterday . (And I used to order 2 cheeze cake together always) Paris cafe you just lost a loyal customer of urs !!

Located just opposite of Ice skating rink at Ballygunge phari beside wow momo take away.<br/><br/>It's a small cozy place. Liked the ambience. They have awesome confectionery options. Variety kf coffee options are also available. Since they have their own bakery so freshly baked breads are also available.<br/><br/>Liked the place.

This place is with good vibes , serves you delightful food to cheer you up and satisfy your hunger . Rainbow cake/ The dream come true cake actually turns your dreams into reality. It is a eye candy with a perfect blend of colours and absolutely amazing taste .it's definitely a must try . I would rate it 5/5 .<br/><br/>Margherita pizza to keep you up at night . It's a thin crust pizza with loaded cheese and the sauce of the pizza went well with the thin crust n cheese. I would rate it 3/5.<br/><br/>

Cozily tucked opposite the Ice Skating Rink, the cafe has an amazing ambience and setting to enjoy your afternoon brunch. I had ordered the Lemon tart and Waffles with nutella. Although the waffles didn't live up to my expectation, the tart was fresh and filled with flavour. Definite recommendation for their pastries.

First impression of the place is not that good, as soon as i entered the place i was wondering how come is this place highly rated? being so tiny, but then it surprised me. The service is commendable, the presentation of the is eye candy. We ordered 1. Mushroom panini sandwich, one hot chocolate, one waffle & one strawberry shake😍 n we payed in total 620₹ yay! The bill was corresponding to the size of the cafe though😂 anyways i would like to visit the other outlets of this cafe sometime.

You should totally go to Paris Cafe once in a lifetime for their amazing pastries. My personal favorite is the famous rainbow pastry. Their macrons are also absolutely yummy specially vanilla one. You should also try the Oreo shake. The space is short but the decorations are really nice. A bit expensive but worth it.

This quaint little cafe is right on the Ballygunge circular road opposite ice skating ring. A perfect place for some coffee and gooey chocolate cake. I also ordered their red velvet cupcake and was pleasantly surprised with the taste. Their cakes are moist and absolutely melt in the mouth. Will sure recommend for a visit

Went to this place on 23rd December, 2018.<br/>Cute place and a cosy decor. Price might seem a bit high but the taste of the food might make you forget that part.<br/>We ordered Funghi Pizza (crispy crust, full of mushroom and oozing with cheese- sufficient for 2 people)...Impressed!<br/>We also ordered Brownie shake and oreo cream shake (Both very tasty and quite filling)

I had been wanting to go to this quaint little cafe for quiet a long time now. So on one of our impromptu, after office, weekday coffee dates we decided to check out Paris Cafe. This is a very small and quaint cafe with exquisite lace curtains and french decor. The only thing is it needs a renovation asap. Coming to the food. Our order was hazelnut cappuccino(me) and dark cappuccino (hubby) both of which were great. In food we ordered the mushroom quiche which was absolutely fantastic! The dessert we ordered was the lemon tart which was a tad too sweet for my taste but overall quality and presentation style was perfect! Overall it was good experience.<br/>P.S The cafe does not have a washroom or designated parking.

Cakes are priced high but quality is average.<br/>Ordered a cake for birthday of my brother.<br/>It was in the shape of a bucket of fries from KFC. The flavor was of Red Velvet. The finished product visually looked good, but taste was so so.<br/>Again, price is on the higher note.

I've tried most of the desserts and savouries at Paris cafe , the outlet being just opposite to my school . They have a distinctive taste and theme that matches well with the kind of desserts they come up with. I would recommend everyone to try their ,<br/><br/>1 Mushroom Crepe<br/>2 Nutella Crepe<br/>3 Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cake<br/><br/>I recently packed their "Citrus Meringue Tart" and "Black Forest". I loved both. However the meringue on the tart is too sugarry and I think it would be better if they only lathered it on the sides in smaller quantities. As for the black forest , it was delectable.<br/><br/>

This place was absolutely amazing. It's a quaint little shop, embedded in a cove on the pedestrian walk, right opposite to the ice skating rink. It's barely even noticeable.<br/>At first, when we entered, the shop was tiny with about four places to sit. I was immediately a bit put off, but decided to stay anyway (so glad I did!).<br/>We started off with a blueberry cheesecake while selecting. It was soft, and the crust was crumbly and melted in my mouth- a delight to say the least. Then we had a strawberry milkshake and a margarita pizza. The margarita was cheesy, and the cherry tomatoes had that fresh burst of juiciness, and not that artificial taste of the pizza at popular food chains. The crust was soft yet had that little crunch, which is glorious in a pizza. The strawberry shake was fresh, and gave the freshness, sweetness and tartness of a real strawberry.<br/>Finally, for take-away, we chose two red velvet cakes, and one kind of bread. The red velvet cake was hands down the best that I've ever tasted in Kolkata. However, I feel like they could improve on the taste of the frosting coating the cake, it had a slight lemony feel which I didn't enjoy. But one slice was huge and lasted me for days. And the garlic cheese bread was stuffed with cheese and garlic, and tasted amazing.<br/>And the best part? This extensive and filling menu came within a 1000 bucks. I recommend everyone to try this place at least once.

The moment I entered the Cafe, I was repelled by a damp smell which I could not recognise but felt nauseated because of it. The place is small with ancient decor and very small table tops. We liked the decor.<br/><br/>We ordered the following:<br/>1. Nuttela Shakes: Served in huge milk bottles, it became an absolute favourite. The flavour of Nutella was unmistakable in every sip, or rather, gulp.<br/>2. Spaghetti avec Crema Pesto: It was so perfect that I would say you must try it. The perfect amount of cheesy and creamy and such delicious taste just satiated us with a warm feeling in our stomachs.<br/>3. Chocolate Fudge Waffles: This was a show stealer. Chocolate waffles with fudge cake and whipped cream was worth gorging on.<br/><br/>All this for ₹882 and it was worth it.

this place is a discovery. The margherita pizza we ordered literally blew us. It had just the right combo of subtle herbs .. peppered with olive and cheese. The cakes are delightful. We loved the cheese cake with blueberry. Complete value for money. and yes.. the staff was courteous and polite.

Paris Cafe is located right opposite to Modern High School, in a blink-and-you-miss-it appearance. We ordered :<br/>1. Chocolate and Nutella Crepe (4/5) : Well prepared, aesthetically served and tasted fantastic. Worth coming back for.<br/>2. Rainbow Pastry (4/5) : Brilliant for a few Instagram pictures. Tastes average at best.

A dreamy little place which you can easily miss out. But it's located right opposite the Ballygunge Ice Skating rink. This small bakery cafe is in my memory for two reasons. One is the the beautiful majestic decor and secondly, the price. It's quite small so they cannot accommodate a large group. Their cheesecake was damn good but small in size.

This is a cute little cafe located just opposite the Ice Staking Rink in Ballygunge. The place is quite small with an accommodation capacity for 10 people. Had Mushroom Crepe with Cream sauce and Nutella shake. The dish was filing but was too cheesy to get its original taste. I have had much better crepes elsewhere. Anyway, would like to come back to binge on their Panini and cakes.

One of the best cafes in town. Paris cafe has a huge numbers of items in their menu it’s really a bit of France in Calcutta. Though most of the outlets serve vegetarian and Only one of their outlets serves the non veg delicacies.
Shruti Agarwal ( Tryst With Flavours)
This is a very small cute cafe located in ballygunj with pretty white decor. It has some of the best red velvet cakes and rainbow cakes along with lip smacking pastries. It serves italian food too. We ordered spaghetti aglio olio which was good yet too oily. The next dish was mushroom crepe which was so cheesy that it could just make your day. To end the meal we ordered waffles. The waffles could be more soft and better.

This is a nice cosy place to hangout with few closed ones with a lovely decor that gives you Paris vibes.<br/>The place is easy to locate, just opposite the ice skating rink near ballygaunge phari.<br/>We ordered their most famous rainbow cake and irish frappe..<br/>It was really nice.<br/>Overall a good experience and everyone should atleast visit once, specially the sweet craving people..

Paris Cafe doesn't need any be introduction to the foodies in town. Located at Ballygunge opposite Ice Skating rink, this cute little Cafe is a one way ticket to Paris giving those Parisian Patisserie vibes.<br/>First let me tell you that it had been in my bucket list for such a long time and I'm quite glad that I finally visited this place. The Decor makes you wonder if you are in Paris. It's a cute little space very well put together.<br/>The staff is courteous and service excellent.<br/>I had Hazelnut cold coffee with which they provided complimentary sponge cake. It was worth Rs. 130 while the regular Cold Coffee costs Rs. 110 which is way cheaper compared to other standard places in town. It was really delicious and value for money.<br/>Then I had Exquisit which is a really delicate and pretty Pastry. It costs Rs.130 and is worth every penny if not more. It's raspberry and strawberry based pastry with white chocolate and topped with a macaron. Do try it.<br/>We got Exquisit and Frasier and multigrain bread loaf for home. Frasier is another beautiful pastry which looks like a giant strawberry made with strawberry flavoured creme and fresh strawberries inside. Again it costs only Rs. 130. The bread loaf is good too with a hint of citrus zest kinda flavour.<br/>Overall I enjoyed my time at this sweet little Cafe and am looking forward to visiting this place again and try Crepes and waffles. I give this place 4.8 outta 5 but since I can't score in decimals I would give it a perfect 5. Do visit this place if you are in love with timeless elegance of Parisian Decor and Patisseries.<br/>

If I could I would put a negative review. Terrible experience and wastage of money, haven't been this disappointed after eating a cake , ever. Had ordered a red velvet cake for my son's birthday and what on earth was that, yes the items are over priced but if the product is worth it, it doesn't matter but this cake that costed me 1200 plus was a disaster, still trying to figure out what was inside the cake, just by making a cake look red, it doesn't become red velvet.<br/>A 1 pound cake costing 1200 inr but not one bit of that cake was tasty, and to make a cake unpleasant or unappetizing, one has to be pretty terrible at it.<br/>The owner supposedly is from le cordon bleu Paris and this is the condition of the food items? The staff was impolite, which we let that pass by, the delivery person was extremely rude and had no road sense to deliver food, we even let that pass as none of it could directly effect the taste of the food but sorry to say, our thinking was wrong, the food is equally terrible, should have noticed at the very first instance .<br/><br/>I'm no one to ask others to not visit this place, but I strongly recommend and suggest the management to look at the work condition and quality of food, don't ruin the beauty of Parisian desserts in this process, you are misguiding the community in the name of exclusive desserts.

My daughter told me about this place and went there and bought her sister's Birthday cake today. The Rainbow appearance was amazing after cutting the Cake but I was a bit dissatisfied with the taste. I found the taste of the Cream in the cake less yummy hence was disappointed with the taste.

This dainty little classic cafe offers a really sweet romantic getaway if you're looking forward to going on a date, and it has this whole 'Parisy' feel to it and a few minutes after grabbing a seat here, I swear, I kid you not, you'd feel as though you've been teleported to a new place.<br/><br/>I ordered a really delicious looking glittery red heart shaped red-velvet cake and it tasted absolutely great. It was soft, spongy and it melted in my mouth with every bite I took. The two chocolate based shakes I ordered were mind-blowingly tasty as well. It gave me a sugar rush that I'll always remember for a lifetime.<br/><br/>And yes, I remember looking at their tempting assortment of chocolate popsicles, and I almost gave into it, but the fact that I was on a diet prevented me from doing so.<br/><br/>Yes, the only con is, the place would tend to get claustrophobic if there's a rush of customers(I'd say it can only accommodate two couples comfortably at the same time and a maximum of 6 heads), but apart from that, the quality of the food here is excellent.<br/><br/>Really impressed and I'm really looking forward to giving other outlets of this franchise a try.

Finally I went to this cute cafe. Good work to the owner I loved this place. I ordered a Cafe Mocha and Hazelnut Cappuccino. I loved the fact that Cafe Mocha came with a chocolate spoon. It was a surprise and such a innovative concept. <br/>Then I ordered a Salad. The Mint sauce they gave with it was so damn yummm. Altogether a new experience I had with the salad for the first time. <br/>Then I ordered a Chocolate Fudge Waffle. Man it was heaven. Chocolate waffle topped with hot brownie cake along with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was quiet heavy, one person cannot complete it. But it was tasty. <br/>Overall I had an amazing experience with the food and ambience with just one complain that the service was very slow. The waiting time for a little longer than expected which irritated me. So I expect they work on that. <br/>Will visit again. ❤️

One of the most sophisticated bakeries in Kolkata. Looks of cakes are heavenly. I had ordered cake from here for my sister's birthday. It was really good in look and taste as well. Decoration is just more than perfect. The cafe has a nice calm paris ambience. Items are a bit overpriced. The mirror is the heart of the cafe. Vacj5 wall is just too good. Will visit again to taste some more! 💝

My friends and I decided to visit this place after months of planning.<br/>At first we hoped it wouldn't be crowded but upon entering noticed that it was a rather small place and at that time of the day there were no customers at all.<br/>The interior gave you a very classy yet simple feel and my friends and I felt quite happy about the decoration of the place.<br/>We had all heard good things about the place and I had only ordered a red velvet cake and a red velvet cupcake earlier . However the cake was rather dry.<br/>Onto the review, being the canivores we are we were rather worried if the vegetarian menu would satisfy our taste buds.<br/>We ordered a Margherita pizza, a rainbow cake Slice, a raspberry cheesecake slice (blueberry wasn't available sadly), a tarte au citron(lemon pie in French) and a mushroom quiche for a friend who felt like having something savoury.<br/>The pizza was still in the kitchen, but we all started to take bites the other pre-made dishes we ordered and made heart eyes at each other while we had our own little moments and then we started digging at each other's food and wondered who the chef was.<br/>After the pizza arrived however, we had even bigger heart eyes because the pizza crust was so thin and crisp with that extra gooey cheese and olives.<br/>After gobbling that down we were contemplating on whether we should order another after we all convinced each other that the gym can wait, we ordered another of the same pizza not wanting to risk it for any other pizza available on the menu and that did not cease to please either.<br/>We were all just sitting there probably coming down from the aftermath of everything and didn't really want to leave either.<br/>After much discussion we asked for the bill and left.<br/>The food is a tad bit expensive but I have to say that it is 100% worth it. We haven't tasted food that good in a very long time.<br/>The ambience and everything was rather perfect, however we do wish the staff were a little more attentive rather than 4-5 of them all being clustered in the kitchen watching each other prepare the items, it was diffcult to call for them or ask for a menu as they weren't in front persay.<br/>Other than that this is one of the best places we've ever been to and will definitely be visiting countless times.<br/>P.s we couldn't take a picture of the tarte au citron because it looked so good we just dived in.<br/>Also the pictures were uploaded to Instagram so the tagged names were removed 😅.

Paris cafe is a must visit for all. Ambience is great. The staffs are super polite. The menu not only looks delicious but actually they taste as delicious as they look.<br/><br/>It's a very small joint consisting of a few tables. The cupcakes are droolworthy. My friend got me a rainbow cake for my birthday which when I put inside my mouth it melted like cheese and you can almost feel the taste of butter. It's simply melts in the mouth.<br/><br/>A must have. And the red velvet one is also a must try.
Aanya Sharma
They make the best red velvet cake in town. It is super delicious. The ambiance is cute and comfortable. Service is slow. But the pastries are excellent. It fresh and quality is good. Must visit.

This quaint tiny cafe is marvellously decorated with delicate little things. I've come here a few times and have tried the red velvet cupcakes, red velvet cake slice, Nutella shake, Oreo shake, rainbow cake. The shakes are coffees are reasonably priced but the cake slices start from Rs. 200.
