Entry point- pay 1500 or get back 🔙 ( redeemable) Service is good but price is too high as compared to quality 😕 Coming to dance floor - You can only dance when you have your gf along with you. Neither group of boys nor individual boy can dance else the bouncer will without your concern hold your collars and will kick you out. Good thing which I liked - Opened late night 🌉 Porsche area hence the crowd and vibe is different.

The place is located inside the Park hotel. It's a very old disc, it has got ample space and sitting arrangement around the bar and at the bodhi bar. The bodhi bar is situated upstairs and the view of entire place is good from their. These days the place is less crowded. The music is good and the staff is quite professional.

Very nice atmosphere but it's very costly and price increases as the night passes. Good to enjoy the disco vibes, drinks, dance, hookah and food. One of the best party atmosphere in Kolkata

Amazing place. Super trippy lights... very good music. The drinks are a bit expensive but the vibe of the place is worth it. My suggestion: Pre-booze. Great crowd. All in all one of the best parties in Kolkata.

If you love DJ and mixing of music with exceptional lighting, this is the place to be. Tantra is situated within the premises of The Park Hotel, Kolkata. Entry is around Rs. 500/- per head, and may vary as per occasion and celebration, although in house Guests of The Park can have free access. There is table service, although tables are absent, and you can choose from a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Entry is for adults and children are not permitted. Overall, a good place if you love DJ music.

Organised a cocktail party for my office collegues. We all had an excellent experience in the club dancing and boozing our ass out. Tasty bites were very impressive. Definitely one of the best club in town.

Entry fee 1000rs,for what they charge it don't know,dj was poor , music poor ,they have sm 3-4 page menu for drinks,and wht they actually have that u can count on fingers, no variety of beer available,it was not fun being there.

A tad bit expensive but an amazing place to have crazy amount of fun with friends. Drinks and food are available here. A perfect night out would definitely include visiting this place and having fun with friends.

Loved the dancers and the crowd....a bit overpriced though on certain occassions but the inside bar area has authentic spread. The bartenders are quick and polite too...celebrated the whole night and loved every bit of it

Expectations were too high when we went to Tantra. By the way writing this review like after 5 years. Was not a Zomatoian that time. Food was good, drinks were as well. I remember of trying two cocktails and they tasted well. Dance floor is there so that's a good point, people who love to dance can have fun with live DJ.

Prices were different from the bar menu.we asked fr indian beer but we were forcefully served hoegaarden.<br/>The prices are triple the published rates..It's called fleecing the crowd..I'm a regular at the chennai park hotels but they don't do like this..<br/>4350 fr 2 larges of whiskey seems to be far fetched .<br/>Also wrong billing with line item called soft beverge,not even sure what that is..<br/><br/>Overall bad experience..

The crowd was no healthy, they were passing comments and abusing. The food was good. I will rate 7 out of 10. The service was okay. You will have to shout a lot of times to make them notice you so I will rate 5 out of 10 for that. The dj was the best part playing all kinds of songs and a good dance floor so 10 out 10 for that.

The place is the heart of clubbing of Kolkata. The DJs are good. The ambience is nice. The drinks are little on the costly side however the food is nice.<br/>We have had insane fun Everytime we have been here.<br/>Note: We did face issues with a customer abusing others , but apparently he is a big shot and anything can't be done about that. But I guess that's more of a Kolkata thing than this place.

Obviously it’s one of the best and most popular clubs in Park Street and even though the prices are not at all on the cheaper side the ambience and the spacious bar gives it a pretty good look and compensates for the heavy pricing. Best for all sorts of parties and nightlife. 👍🏻

The Prices of Corona and Heineken is written 525 , where as when we visit they charge us 900, sometimes 990 , just want to confirm if the menu prices is not updated or the bar man is charging a different prices .

This is the best club to party at anytime. I have been here many times and have never disappointed me at all. The place is really amazing with nominal entry fee and with unlimited drinks on ladies night. Good service and the music all night kept us in a very good mood during the whole night. The crowd is very decent. I would recommend people to visit this club and you will never be disappointed.

The place lost its charm and the service is pethetic with everyone throwing attitude. They charge 1000 for stags and the drinks are criminally expensive particularly when there is ladies night as they shoot up the prices, you are better off going to another club.

I last visited this place way back in 2001. Coming back to Kolkata and to revisit the place was on my to do list. The interior had changed not for good though. People can just stand at the bar and spray cheap champagne - how do you allow this? No cleaning done of the floor post the shower resulting into mud slime and horribly sticky floor. Dewashish Khawas the rudest bartender ever come across. Drinks on the menu not available expect the most ridiculously priced ones....oh by the way the ladies who knew this bartender was still getting the cheaper priced drinks. I have been quite regular in this place .. i like their ladies night where they offer complimentary drinks to girls and with a package of 1500 for men.<br/>Food quality has been improved recently .<br/>Tried the chili chicken , that was really good.. along with the cheese garlic sticks.<br/>But the pepper chicken tasted really bad n disappointing!!<br/>The crowd and the music all are good

I feel sorry for people of Kolkata for not knowing what a real disco/pub looks like.. This place is not even half as good as what people make it out to be.. It looks unclean and shabby.. Guys beware with the prices of drink. Always ask price and bill before taking the drink. Bartenders are full of cheaters. No club charge the separate fees for soft drinks in your alcohol.I never saw such practice in Delhi Mumbai USA Canada or anywhere in any premium clubs. They are charging 250 rs for 30ml soft drink in your alchohol.Its purely cheating and this should be reported to government agencies. Fun part is every time you take drink they charge everytime different for same alcohol same quantity of mixtures.

Had an horrible experience with this place.staffs were unattaintive. Had to go to them to order every time.which I never faced in any other place.most irritating part was the dj, the choice of songs were horrible,atleast not suitable for dancing. Even after asking many choice of songs,he did not bother to play any of them.More over iy was almost vacant on weekend night,i thing people already know the experience there. Visited this place few days ago with a group of friends. We were charged ₹1000 per person for stag entry. The place doesn’t have much seat arrangements. The dance floor is quite big and music is very loud. Drinks are very expensive. The staffs aren’t co-operative.

After partying at Roxy we went to Tantra to have some hukka.This place is good for partying but there is no proper seating arrangements. If you get tired of dancing unfortunately there is no seats at the bar counter. The food was ok though. I think there is other places which is better than this.

When I called up today to inquire about Tonite event they lady over the phone doesn't listen to me properly and disconnected the call twice. After a long time I visited Tantra-Park Hotel.I felt maybe all my reasons to hate Tantra was not true.Maybe just a misunderstanding.I visited Tantra on 26 sep 2018 around 10 pm where I find a group of girls who were extremely drunk.In a span of 15 mins one of the girl breaks two bottles and one glass of her free drinks.The glass wic she broke on the dance floor hurts my feet she walks away from the floor without even a sorry note. I immediately looked for the housekeeping and got the floor cleaned.Being from the hospitality industry I also felt it should informed to the management as this girl was going crazy and cud hurt anybody else as well as she was drunk.When I didn't find the management team I went to the entry gate to inform them where I get badly treated .Only an CCTV can explain my statement...Tantra is turning Pathetic with time!

This place is amazing for clubbing and party animals, ambience is so nice ,staffs are well dressed and their behaviour is also decent. The food quality is also good but the number of bar tenders are less that’s why you have to wait a lill bit for the drinks otherwise this place is amazing and one of the best place in town

So after few hr my friend's band got tore and hé went to change so hé went with my boyfriend, Hé went out without taking His phone because His phone Was with me so they went out and Was doing thére work Nd said them to change they my Bf asked His friend thé time them all of à sudden they Saying you both are misbehaving Then all of à sudden they slaped him 10 to 15 times they pushed and punched him very hard then i came out after knowing this Things are happening outside i rushed out and asked thé bouncer whats thé matter they didnt say me anything just said me to take him out of the place.. I went to him and over there im seeing the bouncer is going on hitting him they Was pushing him and throwing him out. well, Hé is à lawyer !! we r reputated person and we cannot take this type of miss behaviour. As if they are behaving like we have entered on free !!! Such chéep and thirdclass place i have never seen. Thén i said i Will talk to thé manager, they Was refusing to call him i Was Still standing Nd Was saying call the manager... This is an empty space without any furniture or seating arrangements. The lightning is not proper hence it looks very shady. Food- Okay! Average. Alcohol- You won't feel like paying so much for such an ambience.

One of the most popular clubs of town. Roxy and Tantra are situated in the same building. Tantra is much better than Roxy. As the seating arrangement is much better. To be frank it's not for the one with tight pockets. Must try starters . Food and drinks are expensive. STAGS are a rarity. Reservations done or not doesn't count.

My favorite place to groove.... The dance floor is spacious music mostly Punjabi and hindi remix.... The bartenders are very polite and nice and a variety of liquor is available with good flavored hookah... In the 1st floor people can chill and the ground floor is meant for moves, thumkas and jhatkas.... So separate zone for smoke... In short a right place to party

I visited Tantra at 9 30 on a saturday night to find it almost empty except a few girls enjoying their happy hours. And then they left. They dont have a menu. The beer available for me were close to a 1000 bucks for a pint and were different from what the ladies were having. A LIIT was 1600 bucks. The DJ said the party starts at 12 30. Ofcourse i didnt have the patience to stare at an empty dance floor for 3 hours. Or watch the bar tender practice his juggling skills and failing miserably dropping the glasses all over the floor. Hence, plan your visit to Tantra strategically to enjoy the place. People of Kolkata recommended it highly.

The cocktails have been too good. Service provided by the waiters is impeccably fast. You can just lay back, relax and enjoy the music or you can even tap your feet on the dance floor as you take your drink.

This place is located inside the Park Hotel. One of the most hyped clubs in Kolkata. So a friend and me decided to try it out. No hassle in getting an entry. The ambience and the crowd was out of this world! Nice loud music made it even better! Cheers to the DJ. But, this place is overpriced to the core. A pint of Heineken costs 770 bucks! Had a decent night overall.

Tantra has Kolkata's biggest dance floor. Once we went on a Sunday the place was completely empty at 10pm. Not a soul. Saturdays are hip and happening as well as the free booze days

Went there during durga puja. Entry fees was 1500 for two. Night life, i must say, is something different here. Lots of them are foreigners in population. Music mixing was commendable and really enjoying. But too much expensive. Overall 3.5 star

Welll had an awesome time dancing heart out. Just the place to forget everything and dance.

THE TANTRA MANTRA..<br/><br/>The Park is a brand name and some of its restaurants get the benefit of it. There's nothing special in Tantra - neither the food nor the service. And unfortunately our visit coincided with a Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration hosted in the Mink Room which is why the waiters were more busy attending there...

It is one of the so called hottest night spot in Kolkata and quite a frequent for all night out folks visiting, The Park. The ambience is quite cool which plays some good songs but it is loosing the charm based on the crowd that is coming along and really needs to be spiced up if it wants to continue with its fame and glory. A good place to chill with your pals but the crowd could be a dampener at times.

Nice place to hangout with frnds .... overpriced ..location is centralised ..crowd is average ..<br/>Track selection is nice ..but they should include bolly songs also to keep pace

Have to admit. This place has deteriorated crazy. The crowd is not at all good (ogles at girls) and the cocktails are equally pathetic. They need to buck-up to stay in competition.

You go to Tantra with a lot of expectations. I have done so at least thrice before typing this down. But every time it has been a major let down for the kind of down market crowd they allow in, the fu*** up cocktails they serve, the humongous bill they charge and the outdated speakers they play. All in all, a place which needs a major overhaul. Is the management listening??

Worst place in the country.... technically it does not qualifies to be a disc as the speakers lag so every speaker has different time of delivery... Baseless price as nothing serves hot.... the sound system are like those speakers which we find in JAGRATA(JBL)..... centre zone of NOISE POLLUTION

This place is loosing it's charm...but still a awesome place to hangout....bartenders will avoid you unless you are a regular bee or a GIRL...one of the best pub in kolkata... if you're a bunch of girls going out definitely it's a good place to chill...🍺

if i have to rank Park pubs then this would come after Someplace Else and Roxy.. for some strange reason I have never been too fond of this place.. but yes, regardless of that it is quite a decent place to spend with friends.. Dance your heart out and enjoy.. I dunno why but the crowd is not upto the same standards as the above mentioned pubs..

Pretty good place to party. Had been there once for the Friendship Day bash. It's a moderately spaced area with a dancefloor and bar area with bar stools and chairs around it. We had sat there. There is also a separate sitting area which looks cosy with sofas and cushions. The lighting is dim which sets the mood. Drinks were on the house for ladies which was pretty cool 😁 . The bartenders were cordial.The DJ was good and hence we danced a lot. Enjoyed to the fullest :-)

The perfect place to party. Been there once from office. Enjoyed like anything. The dance area is cool. The sitting area is very relaxing. The music is great. All in all a perfect place.

As per the pricing shown in this menu, they charged me way more than that like 1280 / 60ml and 750 for a beer. Rest everything else was fine.

dont know how i missed this, but er well,, i wil try to sum it up in few words! downstairs dance floor, mostly sub-standard  crowd with a few nice people stuck here and there and dreading the fact, upstairs (i only used to stay up there) clear view of the dance floor, with middle-aged/old men eyeing young girls downstairs ( i get really amused sometimes observing desperation) even though i met a lot of influential people in city circle up there but not worth it. But i guess we hav to work with what we hav got !

Though its one of the oldest clubs in Kolkata which started the discotheque culture, it has lost its charm. They basically loot you and the service is pathetic. The crowd is not great either and ladies night are worse. Bad music and real uncomfortable spacing. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Place is ok, but the management and staffs are rude. The have lot of attitude because they work for a 5 start company. May be The Park is promoting Someplace and Roxy more than Tantra and they want to move Customer from Tantra to their other pubs. <br/>You have to cross the parking road which itself degraded the ambiance. You can still see few crowd just because of the Old days fame. Will not recommend any of my friend to this place. <br/><br/>Suggestion to management: May be you should change the staff(Manager) or you should shutdown!

I called them and asked if they allow stag, they said no. I asked charges for couples. They said Rs700. <br/><br/>I reached there alone, asked them if they can allow me, as this was once in a while trip from Banglore to Kolkata. They said no. <br/><br/>I asked if I can approach girls who are entering, they said I can try.<br/><br/> When I approached they said I can’t do that. When I asked why? They said not in front of the door. I agreed, went outside.<br/><br/>Approached a group of 3 girls, they agreed to accompany me, even though they don’t like Bollywood, they agreed to come along. <br/><br/>When I went there, there was a manager ‘Rajnish( or something)’ who told, the guards not to allow me. I asked why, he has no answer and started using abusive language. When I said I am not entering but stop using abusive words, he started calling Boxers to move me out. <br/><br/>I had no option then to come out(who want to mess with Boxers☺ (But they were nice with me)  ).<br/><br/>Suggestion To Mgmt: Have a rule, which is same for all. All staff should know about rules. Don’t use abusive words with guest and use boxers only when there is a problem, not to show your strength<br/><br/> Luckily I got chance to enter Roxy along with another group and spent my time there.<br/><br/>[Don't dishearten by the poor rating, I will take further feedback from my Friends in Kolkatta keep writing reviews about You(Once in a Month)]

Worst night club i have even been till date. Dance floor is so so so small. Weird crowd. For ladies they have free drinks and free entry. Bartenders are very fast and professional. I wont repeat my visit again.

This is a well-known clubbing hotspot in posh Park Street. Ambiance and decor is pretty normal and average, nothing impressive. Apart from the super deluxe Scotch Ballantines and finger food - chicken sausage - which we'd had and perhaps the name 'tantra,' honestly I wasn't that impressed. Ambiance lacked groovy vibe and classy feel.

The name says it all.Best nightclub in the city where every single party lover wanted to visit once and more. I find this place more energetic then any other nightclub.cheeers🖖🏼

Good pub lovely atmosphere baar tender very friendly and entertaining .lovely music lovely food full time Paas Specially on Saturday night <br/>
