One of the best chinese restaurant in Kolkata, one of my favourite. Just beside E-Mall Chandni chowk. Top notch food, you ll not disappoint with quality n quality. Try their signature bbq fish.

Here food is awesome they provide you the best food at most affordable price. The place is not so big for many people to eat together but the service is good.

It was very hot day, Poila Baisakh 1430. After switching from many non-AC resturants in old China town, we opted to this ac resturant. It's a small resturant consist of 4 table. Crystal chimney is a Old heritage Chinese resturant in Chandni Chawk area. We entered in the resturant and feel relaxed due to the cool atmosphere inside. We ordered Bar-B-Q fish in starter section. Taste was delicious, lip smacking. It can change you mood if you are a Chinese lover. The dish was full of bell pepper, tomato,onion, garlic, spring onions with 8 big coated piece of Basa. Then we ordered the resto special chowmein and half plate Lee Fu Chicken. Chowmein has a basic indo-Chinese Taste with egg omelet coating, prawn papad and lots of chicken, prawn,mushrooms, egg. Lee fu chicken was unique in taste. It was green in colour and it's not like the traditional Chinese side dish we get in many resturant. Chicken was soft and juicy. Overall we had a great time on Poila Baisakh occasion.

The Best Chinese Food you can get near Chandni Chowk. Although i feel it is one of the best in Kolkata… Lots of memories with this place .. Top notch quality of food with a combination of tremendous taste… Price Range : It is on the medium side.. But worth it😉

Chop suey is excellent. Pan fry fish is acceptable. Mixing the 2 parts of a large chop suey is quite a job. Also take a pick at the deep fried Thai chicken.

This place is nice with a great ambiance idea for both couple and family. Please do remember the place is small & can be little claustrophobic. But its fully air conditioned. It has 4 tables in 2 rows & the waiters are very gentle and helpful. The price is reasonable and with in affordable range. Within 200-300 you will get almost everything.

It was a pretty renowned joint regarding the old calcutta chinese or authentic chinese cuisine. I visited the place for the first time, so as per my first visit it was good but if I go by the tag it holds, it is not that much up to the mark. The joint is small and can accomodate upto 16-18 people at a time. Now coming to the food, we had: Lapchi Kai Chicken (starter): It was recommended by them as one of their signature starter dish. It consists of 8 big chunks of chicken tossed in sauce with bell peppers, onion, garlic and lemon grass. The taste was fine, something sweet and it has a spicy after taste. (4.5/5) Crystal Chimney Special Fried Rice (mixed): The rice was covered with an omlet like the egg wrapped rice. It consists good amount of chicken and prawn along with egg. The taste was fine and similar to the mixed fried rice but only the mushroom makes the difference. (4.5/5) Mongolian Fried Rice (mixed): Actually while ordering the dish we asked the person who was taking our order that will it contain the slice of cucumber and onion and he said yes and it will have a tangy and sweet flavour, so we ordered it, but it doesn't contain anything and it didn't tasted like it was said. It was just like a mixed fried rice without mushroom. According to a mixed fried rice it was fine but as we order Mongolian Fried rice it was disappointing. (3/5) Tsing Hoi Fish: This item was taken to have with the Mongolian fried rice and it was good. It was just a bit heavier on sweeter side, other than that it was really good. The fish was very good, buttery soft and fresh. (4/5) Lee Fu Chicken: It was something unique. A mixed aroma of coriander, gondhoraj lebu and basil was there in the gravy. The gravy contains chopped gondhoraj leaves. It perfectly accompanied the Crystal Chimney Special Fried Rice. After a long I tasted something like this. It was seriously a game changer in the entire menu. (5/5) The quantity and the quality wise it was bang on the target. The quantity of every item was enough for two people.

A small AC restaurant that serves great food at affordable price point. They have a wide range of veg and non veg options available in both half and full quantities. We ordered their special Soup which tasted amazing (one of the best in kolkata probably). Also liked Dragon Chicken( the size of pieces and quantity is really impressive),mixed gravy chowmein and BBQ prawn(had a really unique flavour). Absolutely loved their Chinese Omlette (a must try for egg lovers),it is very unique and tasty. Service is really good too.

This is one of the absolutely amazing Chinese restaurant I have been in recent times. The quality of the food is just amazing and the quantity is also upto the mark as per the price. The price of the food is also pocket friendly. We ordered laf chai chicken, mixed thukpa and crystal chimney special noodles. The restaurant is well air conditioned and the behaviour of the staffs are also very friendly.

Great Chinese food 🤤 Ordered - Chicken lap che Kai BBQ fish Both are must recommended. First time I had chicken lap che Kai from here in 2019 and I felt in love with its taste. Visited again in 2022 and taste is same as delicious as it was. So it's a must must try from this place.

Best authentic old Kolkata Chinese food in town. High quality, greatest taste, excellent value for money. Though not cheap, the quality, taste and quantity aptly justify everything, including the steep climb on spiral stairs to a very small sitting space. But the wait, difficulty and price are all worthy of the reward of taste.

Went here after couple of years and the only waiter here still recognized us even before we took off the mask. The food here have always been delicious and even this ye it met our expectations. Ordered sweet and sour fish, mixed fried rice, Mongolian rice and chilli crispy baby corn. It's safe to say that they serve probably one of the best chili crispy baby corn. Everything was perfect. The only downside is the small seating arrangement. But the quality of the food makes up for it.

Space wise quite tiny... but the location is very easily accessible. The staff behavior is quite good. And food quality is just awesome for desi-chinese lovers like me. And yes, the quantity is always very good value for money. Simply, loved the place.

Limited seat for dining area there. At very prime location. Both veg and non-veg chinese dishes are available. Must try. You may have to wait during rush hours. Worthy place. But there's a gap in between last year I had quick lunch we ordered both Hakka n gravy mix chowmin but this time the bill was 500. The Bell pepper chicken and the Honk Kong noodles is just tempting.The food is delicious but the decor is a little clumsy.The peoples who don't bother about the decor,only interested in appetizing food,this is the perfect place to visit and this restaurant is also pocket friendly.

I have been to your restaurant multiple times and I have never faced this issue. I went yesterday and ordered honey chicken because my family liked it the last time I took a parcel from you. To my surprise the whole dish was bland and the honey was floating on the water as you can see on the photo and it didn't taste anything like honey chicken. You have lost a loyal customer.

Try Lapchi kai chicken, It is a treat for the tongue. And Pan fried Momo. In Mixed Fried Rice you will be amazed to have so many prawn, chicken and fried egg. I have had mixed fried rice in many places but this place is different in terms of quality and quantity. It was a small place just opposite of e-mall chadni. The seating area was small but loved the food. The momos were very soft and big served with clear soup and red chutney. Staffs were very good and polite. We order lap chi kai chicken. Quantity was very good with big and soft chicken pieces . Loved it

Located opposite E-Mall, chandni chowk, this place serves delicious food in prices which won't burn a hole in your pocket. The kitchen is located on the ground floor and the seating area is on the first floor. The seating area is a bit small but wouldn't complain because the food is good. We had the golden crispy baby corn, crystal chimney special noodles and the hot garlic chicken, which has the option half and full plate portions. Do try this restaurant here.

Located right opposite to Emall this place was very well suggest by Akash .So after a very tiring day our hungry souls reached out to this place for some heartwarming Chinese delicacies.<br/>After a short discussion with the waiter we settled in for ordering a plate of pan fried Chicken Momo, egg chicken hakka noodles and Hong Kong chicken.<br/>The momos were very generously stuffed and the sauce was super yum too.However a little less heat would be more preferable.<br/>The noodles were sufficient for two and the Chicken dish had eight pieces.The meatballs were really good with a very thin coating of batter. I really liked the food of this restaurant. I had the mixed fried rice and chili chicken. The chicken was soft and tasty. While the mixed fried rice had more than ample amount of prawn and chicken. Really happy and satisfied with the food.would like to visit the place next time.

Have ordered in from this place a number of times and loved their food. This place is a Chinese joint near Chandni Chowk. The food is full of flavours and the cost is quite affordable. We specially love their Chicken with Vegetables which is like Chicken Soup full of vegetables and chicken pieces, it is light and wholesome at the same time. If you have to visit EMall in Chandni Chowk for some reason, you should definitely visit this place if you love Chinese.<br/>This restaurant can only accommodate a few people. Otherwise no complaints.<br/>The side dish that we took was Devil's chicken (6 pieces) they have alternatives of 4/6/8 pieces so you can choose according to your preference.<br/>I felt the chicken could have been more tender. This place is indeed a hidden gem.<br/><br/>We ordered Lee Fu Fish, Lapchikai chicken and Lee Fu noodles. Each and every dish tasted heavenly and was huge in quantity. It's a nice place to have reasonable Chinese food with your friends. I went there to have lunch and it is not hard to find (near to Chandni Chowk metro). It looks a little shabby and be careful up the stairs. They have a huge menu, assorted into Veg and Non Veg, and they give the option to order dishes in half, if you wish to.<br/>We ordered American Chopsuey, Chicken Thukpa and Chicken Lollipop.<br/><br/>Chicken Lollipop was quite tasty, cooked in hot and sour sauce. American Chopsuey was spicy enough and to me, it looked more Chinese than American though.<br/>Chicken Thukpa was average. While the soup was quite nice on it's own, the vegetables were raw, chicken pieces were quite hard and lacked seasoning. Would have preferred it to be more spicy.<br/><br/>Overall, had a fulfilling lunch but below expectations. The food bill was quite reasonable though. I prefer Tung Nam over this. Crystal Chimney is worth a one time visit.

Being their customer for the last 12 years the review may come off bit baised. Coming to the food part, must try is their mongolian chicken, pan fried chilli fish and thukpa. Although the place is bit small and cant accommodate large crowd, it makes that up in the taste department. Prices are moderate and a must visit place if you are visting the chandni chowk area to buy your electrical supplies.

And the dish is a perfect starter.<br/><br/>Special Thuppa: The best in town. No questions asked. They serve it with two prawn chips and an egg. The broth tastes amazing. This is an absolute gem as far as Chinese delicacies are concerned. Located on the adjacent lane right next to Emall at chandni<br/>. This place is like a small roadside eatery, just opposite to E-Mall. Sitting area and decorations have nothing to talk about. Surprisingly staffs are polite. There are lots of item in their menu card which is unexpected. I ordered crispy chilly baby corn and chicken 🍭. They cook both the items in same sauce. Baby corns were really crispy. Crystal Chimney is located in Chandni Chowk opposite to E-Mall . It is a very small outlet with 22 seats only. We didn't like Ambience , you can feel little unhygienic there . Let's talk about food now .<br/>We ordered -<br/>• Crispy Chilly Baby corn<br/>• Chicken Lollipop<br/><br/>Crispy Chilly Baby corn - It was very crunchy and tasty . But excessive sweetness of the sauces killed the main taste ... So overall taste is not that great . You can ask for less sweetened version .<br/><br/>Chicken Lollipop - same gravy was used ( as used in baby corn ) . Located right opposite to the E-Mall, this is a very old place and have been a favorite Chinese joint for all food-lovers.<br/><br/>Must Try:<br/>- Lepchi Kai Chicken- their signature dish- huge chunks of succulent chicken <br/><br/>- Lemon Garlic Soup (choice of Chicken/Mixed/Veg): basically clear soup but with lots of garlic and kafir lime. Perfect starter for a winter meal, or in case you are looking for some relief from the wheezing and cold congestion.<br/><br/>Pros: Affordability Every dish is cooked to perfection.<br/><br/>Cons: Space Crunch, but not an issue for couple or a group of 4. It has around 12 seats capacity in total.

This place is located around five minutes away from the K.C. Das outlet at Esplanade. It seats around ten to twelve people in a small but organised space one storey up a circuitous staircase. The waiter who served us was pretty good, like the ambiance, and the service, like it is in such places, was quite fast and paced accurately. Now, it's time to delve into the food. The first item we ordered, one that had been highly recommended by most patrons, blew everything else out of the water in its brilliance, the Lapchi Kai Chicken. It contained eight pieces of chicken done quite brilliantly, deep fried and floating in a sauce comprising sundry vegetables and spices that was terrific and perfect. I can't recommend it enough to anyone who intends to go there. It has to be one of the top five dishes I've ever tasted, so good was it's lipsmacking nature. The other three dishes we tasted were, sadly, nowhere up to the mark, not in the least the one set by the dish we'd started off with. The Lee Fu Noodle, again, recommended by many patrons, was nothing out of the ordinary, a standard noodle that tasted okay without being spectacular. The Spicy Honey Fish was definitely the worst dish that was on offer, the fresh and crisp Bhetki it comprised doing little to tide over the fact the honey completely overpowered anything else in the dish, making it utterly sweet and unfit to be consumed in a satisfactory fashion. Finally, there was the Devil Prawn which, again contained very fine, deep fried shrimps, also being available with tiger prawns, but it was simply not spicy enough, thereby creating a dish that was merely satisfactory. The bell peppers and the onions didn't save it from being rather middle of the road. The noodles could be ordered as full or half plates, whereas the fish and prawn items could be ordered with four, six or eight pieces in them. The bill came to ₹ 995/- for the two of us, so it wasn't that much of a pocket pinch, but the food, in general, left a lot to be desired. The Lapchi Kai Chicken is something you'd love for sure, in conclusion, but I'd hope that the rest of the menu has such gems to offer elsewhere across it too, because the evidence of our first visit there was to the contrary. One hopes that it shall all improve on subsequent trips to this place.<br/>

This is a very small joint in central avenue. We went there for a small lunch party. We ordered singapore noodles, sanghai noodles and lee fu chicken. Singapore noodles was the best of the lot. Tangy and spicy. Shanghai noodles was also good. Lee fu chicken was a kind of chicken in a green gravy, fragrant of lemongrass and kafir limes. Refreshing in taste. The staffs were cordial though the service was a bit slow.

Pretty small place serving really good food and huge amount. To wait in the queue is a major problem to have a meal here. And sometimes, the quantity surpasses the quality.

Great place in the heart of the city to have chinese food. The tastes are authentic and the prices are pocket friendly. Must try their lap chi kai and mixed chowmein and every item on their menu. The staff is highly courteous and friendly. Must visit for food lovers.

Located beside anand restaurant, opp to e mall. Decor is minimal with a small seating arrangement which can accommodate 18 people. They have a wide range of menu. Ordered lap chi kai chicken, crystal chimney special rice, chicken fried rice, dragon chicken. Lap chi kai chicken could be the hit, but it was too much salty, we had to waste. Otherwise the dish was delicious with tender pieces of chicken, bell papers, tangy sauce. They have their half and full plate menu. Moreover side dishes can be chosen in 4/6/8 pieces, which is very convenient. Quantity is huge, even their half plate quantity is very satisfactory. Special fried rice was served with omlette, prawn chips and sufficient amount of chicken, prawn. It was delicious. Devil's chicken was average.<br/>The experience could have been much better if right amount of salt was used. It ruined our taste buds so that we could not enjoy our later dishes that much.<br/>Price is reasonable and staffs are courteous.<br/>Surely going to some other day to enjoy some other dishes. Hopefully that time we will have an awesome experience.<br/>28/12/18- we paid a visit again one week ago and this time experience is much better. We had dragon chicken as starter, mixed fried rice and lee fu fish. Dragon chicken was good. But I am totally impressed by the rice and fish. Mixed rice was too good. Every spoon was full with chicken, prawn and egg. It was so much tasty and very well cooked. Lee fu fish had a green gravy and very different in taste from the usual, liked it very much. Quantity is more than satisfactory, half plate rice can be shared between two if you are not too hungry. <br/>19/02/2020- had their mixed fried rice and lap chi khai chicken. This time lapchi khai chicken was the best and rice was awesome as always.

Very cramped on the mezannine floor, right beside Anand restaurant opposite Emall. Barely seats about 12 people. Food was top notch though, with more than enough portions, even on half plates. We had the thukpa, which was delicious and very wholesome, as well as the chicken hakka chow, which was not very greasy and surprisingly tasty.

I have been visiting this place whenever I am hungry near Chandni. Recently I visited them on 14/6/18 and 15/6/18. A very tiny joint for chinese which can accomodate 18 people at a time. But the food is FANTASTIC. I will just list out the items I had in this resturant<br/><br/>1) Mixed fried rice - 4.5<br/>2) Lap chi kai - 4<br/>3) Crystal chimney fried rice and noodle - Both my favourite 4.5<br/><br/>Their portion is huge so now they have introduced half plate. A very well-known but tiny place bang opposite e mall in chandni chowk, this place is usually frequented by office goers during lunch time and it's difficult to find a table here on a weekday noon. The ambience is nothing special and the service is not very quick either. However, the food is yummy and never fails to satisfy. The barbecue fish, lemon chicken soup, spring rolls are a must try. Almost all the items in their menu are cooked nicely and taste delicious. Doesn't burn much of a hole in the pocket either.

Nice small place. Good quality tasty food at low price. Their thukpa and fish barbeque are awesome. The only drawback is their limited seating capacity.

It's not so very hard to find the resturant opposite EMall and just besides Anand resturant near the chadni chowk metro station... But many times it is overlooked as the entrance of the resturant is very small.. Infact not just the entrance but also the space is very little...only 20 seats are available most probably.. But all this can be kept aside when we consider the food only.. Be it quantity ,quality , or presentation everything is very up to the mark according to it's size... It's a very crowdy resturant..sometimes to get a seat become a tough job... There speciality is in Thai and chineese quision.. My one of the favourite dish is Lap-Chi-kai chicken.. Be in their with friends. Dining room is small but quite a good. Prices are not overrated. Stuff's are friendly. You don't have to wait for your food for longer time. From my personal opinion to you you don't need to buy ice cream from there. They will sell you a small cup ice cream of rs25 in RS 60.😂😂<br/>Overall I enjoy the food and you can go ahead and try sometimes.

First visited this place quite some years ago and liked it a lot. Thought of giving it another go and still felt the same. A pretty small place at the heart of Chandni Chowk, Kolkata easy to miss out for the first time. Very small area consisting of five to six tables. Mainly popular to office goers. The food here is the main attraction. Hefty amount is served for a reasonable price and per plate is easily good for two. Would recommend the American chopsuey and schezwan noodles.

The Thai Rice and Lapchi Kai Chicken stand out for me . The dish might seem costly but you'll be utterly satisfied by the quantity and taste . Cheers to this place . Their waiter is a friendly man 💝.

Hunger cravings knew no bounds as we shopped on the streets on Chandni Chowk. Crystal Chimney, was heard of before, served as a saviour.<br/>The best part about the restaurant was the man serving us. We Ordered 1 Plate Boneless Chicken Pakora (6 Pcs) For Rs. 170/- And 2 Plate Veg Noodle For Rs. 120/- Each The Bill Came Around Rs. 410/- And My Friend Paid The Money. Would like go ahead with a quick meal? Crystal Chimney is best option right opposite of E-Mall. You can’t expect anything special from outside of the restaurant but the food was undoubtedly amazing. The joint is very small though cozy but the service is super fast and you will get a huge variety of items.<br/>Over all the rating is 3* but as far as food is concerned, I will definitely give 4* and above.<br/>Love to try other items very soon.

Chinese delicacies served which are just mouth watering and deserves your attention as well as appetite.. Seats r limited but location is great for parcels and takeaways. Hospitality is admirable.

Great food. Don't forget to try lapchi kai chicken and Lee fu fish if you want to try Chinese other than what we are used to. Waiting stuff was friendly but bit too much. Service time is okay. Considering there is nothing that can be said to be good ambience, price is slightly high. But food compensates for that.

This place is located near emall, chandni. Its a very small place, hardly could accommodate 10 people at a time. But honestly, this place is a bliss. May b by yhe decoration or the lights it wont touch up ur expectations. But here food is amazing. And presentation of dishes are beautiful too. I had chimney special soup and a noodles over there. Both were lip smacking. I loved this place from heart and soul.
