The service was not up to par. The basic thing that was provided to the customers soon after they reached their destination was water, but they didn't give it to us. We have to ask for water in the middle of our meal. We asked for a bottle of mineral water, but they couldn't provide it; instead, they gave us normal water. In fact, cold drinks like Thumps Up, Coke, Sprite, etc. were also not available. They only have Maza available as a cold drink. The portion of the food was good, as were the quality and quantity. The service was also very slow. The ambiance was good, as was the decoration.

Food was very good. We have ordered pyare kabab, dudhia mutton biryani and firni. For dudhia biriyani have to order at least 3 hours before. Located near mudiyali club. Ambience was good. Staff behaviour was good and polite.

I must say, the mutton biryani served on the silver plate combo here is absolutely delightful! The mutton was tender and succulent, and the blend of spices was perfect. It truly is one of the best biryanis I've had in a long time. The presentation on the silver plate made it feel even more special and elegant. Moreover, I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The decor and lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the dining experience truly memorable. Your staff members were attentive and courteous, which added to the overall pleasant experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. This restaurant is famous for serving different types of Biryani Thalis where you can get Naan, Egg Chaap or Butter Chicken and Firni and also for serving varieties of Kebabs and other Mughlai dishes.... Each of the delicacies tastes truly good and with the availability of Thalis, this place becomes a unique one which everyone can visit and try at least once.... We tried the Silver Mutton Biryani Thali which contains Mutton Biryani, Naan, Butter Chicken and Firni with some salad, priced at ₹349.... The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and serene with Ghazals being played in the background which gives you a feel of royalty....

They say, small things come in big packages! And they are right. The Biryani Company aka TBC is about 4 years old, and has currently 6 outlets all over the city. We visited their Southern Avenue branch, and the food is all we could rant about. Stoic, crisp menu, and aptly so because that is how they justify their excellent food standards. Must try - Their ulta tawa paratha with galouti kebabs. These kebabs are absolute melt in the mouth kebabs where the ratio of spices and meat is beautifully maintained, followed by a tangri kebab. The tangri kebab was soft, and well marinated. Their saffron shahi biryani and that mutton - one could never have a plateful of that! Must try, with their chicken chap. The chap is on the sweeter side but complements your biriyani. Another combo that took our stomach away, their malabar paratha and mutton rezala. And of course, their firni could not be far behind, another masterpiece from their kitchen. A place where you can eat without torturing your tummy, or your health because the do not use dalda. It is only cooked in white oil, and freshly prepared!

So today we had lunch from Biryani Company, Salt Lake branch and I must say that the food was really light on our palates but too tasty! We had Special Mutton Biryani which was packed for 3 people in a box with 3 eggs, mutton pieces and potatoes. I think it was sufficient for 4-5 people if you eat it with other things. Next we had Laccha Paratha and Galauti Kebab though I think they can improve the kebab's taste. For starters, we had a Cheese filled succulent fish fry. It is very much recommended. Along with this there was a Reshmi Kebab which I think was the best of the lot, and everybody should try it. Then as accomplishments there were Chicken Butter Masala, Chicken Bharta, a very melt-in-your-mouth Mutton Kasha with the Biryani. Last but not the least, we had a dry Bada Kebab made from chunky mutton pieces which I will strongly recommend. For dessert we had yummy Firni to finish of the meal. All in all a very pleasant and light experience! 😁

For The Biriyani Company, Garia খাওয়া নিয়ে আমার একটা বাজে অভ্যেস আছে। আনন্দ পেলে খাই, কষ্ট পেলে খাই, টেনশন হলে খাই, মুড ভালো থাকলেও খাই, কিছু করার না থাকলেও খাই। আর্জেন্টিনার খেলা ছিল বলে আজ আর্জেন্টিনার ফ্যান হয়েই টেনশন ছিল না। যা টিম নিয়ে খেলছে তাতে আমাদের সুনীল ছেত্রীও এক আধটা গোল ঢুকিয়ে দেবে। পড়ানো ক্যানসেল করল ছাত্ররা, দুটো ব্যাচের। খেলা দেখব না ঠিকই করেছিলাম। হেরে যাবার আগে শোক পালন করলে কষ্ট কম হয় বলে খেতে যাবো ঠিক করলাম। গড়িয়ার রাস্তা দিয়ে যাবার সময় চোখে পড়ত দা বিরিয়ানি কোম্পানি। ওখানেই যাবো ঠিক করলাম। যাবার পরের অভিজ্ঞতা বেশ অসুখকর। গাড়ি পার্ক করার জায়গা নেই। দূরে খালের পাশে বাইক পার্ক করতে হয়। তা বাইক পার্ক করে এসে ঢুকলাম। বসে মেনু চাইলাম। স্টাফরা খেলা দেখতে ব্যস্ত। তার মধ্যেই তারা মেনু দিল। অর্ডার করার সময় জিজ্ঞেস করলাম রুটি বা নান জাতীয় কিছু হবে কিনা এখন? একজন বললেন না হবে না। সাধারণত আমি মোগলাই রেস্টুরেন্টে গেলে আমি আগে দুটো নান, তার সাথে একটু গ্রেভি আইটেম কিছু নেই। তারপর একটা ফুল প্লেট বিরিয়ানি খেয়ে শেষে ফিরনী খেয়ে তৃপ্তি করে বাড়ি আসি। শুরুতেই না শুনে মনটাই খারাপ হয়ে গেল। তারপর বিরিয়ানি খাবো বলে ঠিক করলাম। বললাম চিকেন বিরিয়ানি একটা, নরম্যালটাই। স্পেশাল নিয়ে লাভ নেই, কারন স্পেশালে দুটো চিকেন আর দুটো আলু পাবো। আলাদা ভ্যারাইটি কিছু নেই। চিকেন আর মটন বিরিয়ানি আর তাদের স্পেশাল ভার্সন বিরিয়ানির বৈচিত্র্য কিছু নেই। একরকম বাধ্য হয়েই চিকেন বিরিয়ানি নিলাম। 200 + tax টাকায় যতটা দিলো, আমার রাতে বাড়িতে এসে আবার ভাত খেতে হলো। পরিমান বড়ই কম। স্বাদও খুবই সাধারণ মানের। এরপর আসলো আসল মাথা গরমের জায়গা। আমার পর আরো দুজন আসলেন, তাদের নান জাতীয় জিনিসের অর্ডার নিয়ে সেটা সার্ভ করা হলো। আমাকে আগে না বলা হলো। বোধহয় তারা খেলা দেখতে তখন ব্যস্ত ছিলেন। যাক, যা হবার হলো, দ্বিতীয়বার আর যাবার ইচ্ছে নেই। কেউ ডেকে খাওয়ালেও নয়। সবশেষে একটাই উপদেশ, যদি কাউকে ভালো মনে কাউকে খাওয়াতে ইচ্ছে না হয়, তাহলে তাকে খাওয়াতে নিয়ে যাবার কথা ভাবতে পারেন The Biriyani Company-তে।

The biryani was amazing. I ordered a small premium mutton kolkata biriyani. For 1500 bucks I feel it was good for 3 people in terms of meat and potato. The Rice had keema and the quantity of Rice was for 7 people. Taste was actually premium and amazing. Although for 1500 bucks for 3 ppl you might think it is expensive but for quality you have to pay a bit extra. Rice with keema was enough to last for 7 people. Would order again and recommended all my biriyani lover friends. People should also look at the packaging. Food was kept fresh and warm. Quality oozed from packing to taste to the egg salan.

We ordered a good number of starters from galouti to prawn and keema. We like the prawn best but closely followed by the rest of the starters. The biryani was quite a lot with generous pieces of mutton thrown in. The taste of the food was amazing. Mutton bhuna deserves a special mention. So does the egg salan accompanying the biryani.

A bunch of idiots who have no professionalism and suck at hospitality run this place. I placed an order the night before and the man on the call assured me that the food would be delivered to me the next day. I live literally a minute away by walk. The next day they just refused to deliver the food. They didn't even have the decency to tell me they don't have delivery guys next available or that it will be delivered half an hour later. They just said they can't. The callous attitude of the guy was apparent and really disappointing.

During this lockdown I have chosen Biryanisk due to their unique packaging, portions, taste and aroma. I used to order chicken biryani and Biryanisk never disappointed me. However, with immense surprise their products were disappointing on today. I have placed online order through Swiggy, and it reached the Garia outlet of Biryanisk (this is tbe 3rd time I ordered from Garia outlet). Order was for classic mutton biryani (sml bucket) and classic chicken biryani (solo). As usual there was tamper proof packaging. However both the biryanis were stale, tasteless. There were 6 pieces of potato whereas small bucket comes with 3. It looked like these were added just to pile up the quantity. Mutton pieces were horrible, mainly bones and fat. It seemed the food was already stale during delivery. Extremely disappointed with the quality and behavior of the restaurant.

This Restaurant is located just Beside Mudiali. A small Biriyani Joint. Firstly i wasn't able to locate the restaurant as it was at such a deserted location... Now coming to food, Sounds typical, but their half of the items were not prepared, They had a good number of varieties available in menu, unfortunately not prepared. . Whateva we were asking for, they were saying it isn't available and have to be pre ordered 3hours prior.Since we were left with no options and had to order *Kolkata Mutton Biriyani(2pieces) *Shami kabab *Chicken Bhuna Chaap and egg salan. The kolkata Biriyani was of no amaze, just as simple as roadside stalls, kababs were disappointing as well, Bhuna chap was nice but the chicken piece seemed stale and can't talk about the egg salan, it literally had no taste... The ambiance was nice, nice decorated with Keralian Theme... And something l liked was the behavior of the staffs... Would rate them 3.5/5

Swipe👉 As the name says it all. BIRIYANISHK In frame-||CLASSIC MUTTON BIRIYANI|| SO it's quite normal biriyani that we all generally have in Kolkata with Aaloo, egg and mutton. What's unusual is how it was presented. So basically it's called a Bucket Biriyani which serves for 3 people. It had 5 pieces of mutton and 3 pieces of aaloo. Perfectly Cooked. And the eggs were served in a rezala style which was something new for me. The gravy was equally tasty and mouthwatering. And the cost? It comes in Rs 660/- which is absolutely fine for three people. So it's a definitely good deal. In frame-||MURGH TILLI KEBAB|| It had 8 pieces of Chicken coated with honey glaze and sesame.It tasted a bit sweeter which is quite unusual and unique as well. The chicken was perfectly cooked and served with dhaniya chutney and onions which were like cherry on the cake. And the price is quite reasonable guys according to the quality. It took me Rs 260/- And let me tell you. Its enough for 2 to 3 people. A very well designed dish. Well done. Kudos to the team.

Biriyanishk is a true gem for modern age biriyani. To me, the modern age version resonates flavorsome, less spicy and least oily serving of a plate full of biriyani. We ordered for Kolkata premium biriyani. The delivery and packaging were BINGO. It tasted awesome, with all the thumbs up points of a Kolkata biriyani perfectly incorporated. The mutton galauti kebab and murg tikka were also made to perfection. The phirni was, too, a well made dessert. Together, this joint satiated our biriyani craving, to the fullest.

Loved the decor. Food was yum. Tried Kerala style chicken as starter which had the essence of South India. Combination of spiciness with South Indian food was really amazing. Ordered kolkata style classic mutton biryani (small bucket serves 3 people but sufficient for 4 medium eaters) for main course. Biryani was too light but very yummy. And last but not the least ordered zafrani firni, Zafrani halwa and lassi. Firni was awesome in test, didn't like the taste of lassi that much but otherwise overall good experience. Edit: they served complimentary papad and tasty egg curry with biryani ❤

Great place.!!!! I visited here during puja time this year. The quality and quantity is quite good. It tastes like typical kolkata biriyani. If you visit here please try fish fry. Believe me it amazing. They provide pure kolkata bhetki fish and the quantity of fish is pretty good. It's crispy from outside and juicy from inside. After a long time I had such tasty fish fry.

Visited during Durga Puja. Located in the lane where the mudiali puja takes place.The interior was decorated well with wall paintings . Due to puja they had only options of chicken/mutton biriyani, Tunday Kebab , Murgh ajwain kebab , chicken bharta /chaap , Mutton chaap. During puja ,we had to pay first , they den gave us the coupon and then we got the food . So I ordered mutton biriyani which cost Rs 200 , chicken bharta which cost about rs 180 and Murgh ajwain kebab priced rs 160 . Murgh Ajwain kebab consist of 4 piece chicken with salads and green chutney , mutton biriyani was sufficient for one person , the mutton was very soft and tender , the biriyani was not at all rich and light ,the quantity of chicken chaap was little but the taste of the gravy was good . Keeping in mind about the rush moments during puja times , the quality ,service as well as quantity was good excluding chicken chaap .We also took cold drinks which they gave in a glass cost rs 20. All over it was good .

"পুজোর সময় কোন রেস্টুরেন্টে ভালো খাবার মেলে না"- এই আপ্তবাক্যটি স্মরণ করে এই রিভিউ লিখতে চলেছি। মুদিয়ালির ঠাকুর দেখতে ঢোকার মুখে এই খাদ্যশালার সাথে আলাপচারিতা হলো। বিরিয়ানির নাম মাহাত্ম্য সহজেই জনগণকে(বিশেষ করে বাঙালিকে) কাবু করে ফেলে। এখানেও আমার দলের ৫জনের মধ্যে ৪জনই ঘায়েল হওয়ার কারনে আমাকেও বাধ্য হয়েই ঢুকতে হলো। কোল্যাটেরাল ড্যামেজ। দুই ঘরের রেস্তোরাঁ। এছাড়া একটি রান্নাঘর এবং বাথরুম। হাঁটাচলার জায়গা অপ্রশস্ত। কিন্তু সব চাইতে বিপদজনক হলো টেবিলে টেবিলে দেওয়া ছিপি খোলা জলের বোতল। যা যেকোন মুহূর্তে পতিত হওয়ার জন্য রীতিমতো আগ্রহী। রংচং করে ছবি এঁকে কলকাতা স্টাইলের মতো করার চেষ্টা হলেও,এখানে pappadam নামক যে খাদ্যশালা আগে বিরাজমান ছিল,তার নামাঙ্কিত পোস্টার দেওয়ালের শোভা বর্ধন করছে। তবে একটা কথা,এখানে খেতে বসার আগে টাকা দিয়ে কাটতে হচ্ছে কুপন,সেই কুপন ওয়েটারের হাতে পৌঁছলে তবে খানা, নচেৎ মানা।(তবে ইহা পূজা উপলক্ষেই মনে হয়) যাই হোক,৩টে চিকেন বিরিয়ানি,২টো মাটন বিরিয়ানি,মাটন ভুনা ও চিকেন ভুনা অর্ডার দেওয়া গেল। বেশ খানিকক্ষণ সময় লাগলো খাবার আসতে। আমাদের ধারণা ছিল গরমাগরম পাবো নিশ্চয়ই, কিন্তু হায়,সে বিরিয়ানি ঠান্ডা। তবে দুঃখ মোচনের জন্য আলুটা গরম ছিল(জানিনা কোন মন্ত্রে)। আমরা মাটন নেওয়ায় বেশ নরম মাংস পেয়েছিলাম। চিকেনদের কপালে ছিবড়ে ব্রয়লার। সাইড ডিশের মধ্যে দুই প্রকার ভুনাই ভালো ছিল। তবে পরিমান বড়োই কম। একজনের পক্ষে ঠিক। মাটন ভুনার স্মোকি ফ্লেভার ভালো লেগেছে। ওভার অল,বলতে পারি biriyanisk একটি স্ট্যান্ডার্ড খাদ্যশালা। যেখানে পুজোর সময় অতি সাধারন মানের বিরিয়ানি পাওয়া যায়। অন্য সময় কি পাওয়া যায় তা বলতে পারিনা।

The Biryani was excellent. Very flavorful yet light. We tried their Classic Mutton Biryani small bucket which they claim is sufficient for 3, it had 5 pieces of mutton (a bit smaller than normal biryani sized mutton) 3 pieces of aloo and they provide an excellent egg Salan as complementary. Loved the food, looking forward for trying other biryanis as well.

If you are a biriyani lover then this place is near mudiali park you should try in Kolkata. They serve one of the best biriyanis in this city. I tried their:- Classic Kolkata chicken biryani Gobindovog dudhia mutton biriyani It was seriously awesome. The taste was totally classic. the taste was unique and the quantity and quality were also awesome. Besides this, I tried Chicken bharta , Mutton chap with laccha paratha too. It was good too. This outlet's seating area under pappadam. Do try their kebabs ( angoori and tilli) those are really delicious. last but not the least their Firni..just wonderful. Besides the food, their service and hospitality were also nice. Highly recommended for dining with friends and family. The chicken and mutton they use are really soft and is of good quality. will come soon to try more dishes.

We must recommend it to have it while dine in only... This is such an innovative and sensitive dish... We felt that it can be enjoyed only when it is served piping hot on the plate as soon as it is cooked... Otherwise you will miss the heavenly aroma, texture of the rice and most importantly the killer taste of the dish... But the advantage of take away or online order is... You will get this microwave proof, environment friendly container... With which you will get some seeds for plantation ( We must appreciate this initiative ❤)... Also you will get a small Egg Salan with it... So that if you miss some gravy with your Biryani you can enjoy it with it... Apart from this we will recommend some more dishes... Biryanishk is the perfect place for all the biriyani lovers. They known for serving top notch Biriyani made with hand-picked ingredients and specially curated recipes, collected from different states. Apart from biriyani they also serve delectable items from Mughlai cuisine. Apart from solo biriyani portions they also serves small buckets ( for 2-3 people ) and large buckets ( for 5-6 people). If you opt for the buckets, make sure to make your order minimum 3 hours ahead of time. Although it may be a bit inconvenient for some people, but I can assure you that the delicious biriyani is totally worth the wait. Now coming to the food I personally tried, ✓ Tilli kebab : The succulent pieces of boneless chicken kebab was covered with a layer of sesame seeds. ✓ Galawati kebab : The mutton galawati kebab was soft and tender, it had a melt in the mouth texture. Served over a mini paratha. ✓ Mutton champ : The champ was rich and delicious. It was a bit on the oily side, but the mutton was extremely tender. ✓ Chicken Bharta ✓ Zafrani Laccha paratha ✓ Kolkata style chicken Biriyani : This was the perfect biriyani for all the bong biriyani lovers. The rice is aromatic and it was served with huge pieces of chicken and potatoes. ✓ Gobindobhog Dudhiya biriyani mutton : This is a speciality of the Rampuri cuisine, it was made with gobindobhog rice. It was extremely mild on the spices and had ample amount of tender mutton pieces. ✓ Firni : The firni was perfectly creamy and luscious. It was the perfect end to the meal. Apart from the delicious food, I would also like to mention that the staffs are extremely polite and helpful, service is a bit slow. But overall I really loved my experience at Biryanishk.

So, few days back I was here and I tried out the following items: STARTERS: - Tilli kebab - Galawati kebab (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - Anguri Kebab - Kumbh bhatti tandoor MAIN COURSE: - Classic Kolkata Biryani chicken (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - Gobindobhog Dudhiya biryani mutton (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - Mutton champ (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - Chicken bharta - Zafrani Lachha paratha DESSERT: - Firni Out of all the items tried by me, I loved the Galawati Kebab. The Kebabs were soft, immaculately made with all the ingredients rightly added in perfect proportions. It went really well with the Zafrani Paratha. From the main course, I loved the Kolkata Chicken Biryani. The biryani was light and it came with a huge chicken chunk alongwith an aloo. The Gobindhobhog Dudhiya biryani was very finely made again and it was the show stopper of the afternoon. The mutton chap too was fabulously made. Overall I had a great experience and I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

Biriyani company has taken rebirth with the name of Biryanishk with some great addition to variety and uniqueness . They have 7 outlets in Kolkata of which the Southern Avenue outlet has sitting facilities . Mainly they focus on deliveries in which they provide biriyani portions for solo serving , small buckets of biriyani which is meant for 2-3 people and large buckets which is enough for 5-6 person alongside other dishes from the menu . Most importantly you need to order ahead of time as they require minimum 3 hours to prepare each biriyani . Believe me they prepare it will full dedication so that your wait is worth each second . Few days back I got an opportunity to try out some of their culinary artworks so I went to this outlet which is located just behind Mudiali club . It takes on 5 mins of walk from Rabindra Sarobar metro station / Tollygunge rail station . Taking about the decor , it's lovely soothing and we'll maintained . So now let's get to the dishes I tried . There were few kebabs to begin the show •Tilli kebab : Boneless chicken kebabs coated with white sesame seeds . Both the flavours of sesame and tender chicken kebabs balanced well . •Mutton Galauti kebab : On of my favourites when it comes to kebab and this one didn't disappoint me. Mutton paste cooked with lots of spices and served with lachcha paranthe underneath . The Galauti kebab just melts in our mouth . •Anguri kebab : Another form of chicken kebab which mixed with grapes and presented in the form of small cylindrical shaped kebabs ( it looked like seekh kebab ) it was better in taste than the former chicken kebab variation •Kumbh Bhatti tandoor : small muchrooms mixed with lots of indian spices and cooked inside tandoori to infuse the smokiness in it. Another stunning creation of this place which deserves credit . Then then mains took the show forward . First came •Mutton dudhiya biriyani : This is a special dish of Rampuri cuisine . This style of cooking biriyani includes the use of govindovog rice , milk , cottage cheese and spices . The slow cooked mutton pieces on the top of it are actually the show stealer . It tastes completely different from our regular biriyanis and is very light . The beauty lies in the uniqueness of the preparation. •Chicken bharta : they served a classic boneless chicken bharta to go with the mutton biriyani . •Classic Kolkata biriyani : I feel, nobody has doubt regarding the fact that people of Kolkata love potato in their biriyani and yes this style of biriyani has all the basic necessities for a bong biriyani lover. Served with a huge piece of chicken . Most importantly less oily hence everyone can easily indulge into the sin of eating a whole plate of biriyani . •Mutton chap : The chicken biriyani was paired with an outstanding mutton champ which is little oily ( but that's how it's prepared ) but the taste is on point . You won't stop licking your fingers after finishing the meal . Their biriyanis doens't have any egg in it but that won't affect your excitement as they provide a complimentary egg salan with every tub of biriyani . That's not all , buy a tub of any biriyani and you get seeds of different plants to grow some greens in it . So that everything gets used up to its best . Kolkata is famous for its biriani and if you are a biriani lover then Birianiishq by the Biriani company has to be your must go to place. This place is a true hidden gem and popular not only for its biriani but also for its other mughlai dishes. The portion of biriani include solo serving which is for 1person, small bucket for 3 people and large buckets for 5-6 people. As a green initiative they sends out seeds with every bucket of biriani which ca be planted after consumption. Another best thing is that they serve egg salan with each type of biriani. Location- This outlet of Birianishq is located on the lane next to Mudiali Club which is very close to Rabindra sarovar metro station. I had tried their signature dishes among them Gobindobhog dudhia biriani was the showstopper. Aroma of the dudhia biriani is very different from regular biriani and the taste was just amazing. Tender mutton and gobindobhog rice cooked in milk and mild spices. It was too light and delicious. If you want to try this then you have to place your order 3hrs. in advance once your order is placed and confirmed they'll start to prepare this. Classic Kolkata Biryani (chicken) was also good and less oily with a tender piece of potato which is the most important thing of kolkata biriani. Tilli kebab, Galawati kebab,Anguri Kebab,kumbh bhatti tandoor are the recommended dish from their starter section. Anguri kabab is very unique prepared with minced chicken and grapes or angur. Kumbh bhatti tandoor is prepared with mushroom and perfect starter for veg lovers. Mutton champ, chicken bharta from the sides are recommended. Mutton champ was truely lipsmacking and mutton was cooked very well it was very tender. I opted for firni to end up the royal meal. Firni was not too sweet. Staffs here are courteous and service was upto the mark. Overall I had a wonderful experience. Definitely going to visit this place again.

So this outlet provides you their biriyani with a dining outlet which is under Pappadam. They have a whole variety of Kolkata biriyanis and a lot of catgeories of richness. They have introduced a new kind of biriyani called dudhiya biriyani in which they use gobindobhog rice prepared with milk so the rice smells like "payesh" almost. It is kind of unique to have a mutton biriyani like that and I believe they are the only one in the city to serve it. But these needs to be ordered 3 hours prior as it takes time for preparation. Also tried their murg biriyani and mutton chap. Biriyani was light and the aroma was very soothing. Also the chap has very very tender pieces of mutton and it was really good. They also serve you complementary egg curry with every biriyani.

The mutton pieces are extremely succulent and juicy and worthy of all appreciation. IMPORTANT: But hey, you gotta order this dish in advance of three hours so that they can prepare the most lip smamking biryani for you in time. This is the fat cat's very first recommendation from Biryanishk, so be as hell sure to check it out, or rather check in here. Galauti Kebab with Laccha Paratha from Biryanishk by The Biryani Company is my second recommendation from the place. It's extremely delicious with a great punch of flavours! . Gobindobhog Dudhiya Mutton biryani – Usually bengali use Gobindobhog rice for payesh but they use it for biriyani and undoubtedly it’s a masterpiece. The fragrance of the rice along with the milky flavor and soft pieces of mutton was the showstopper. Classic Kolkata Biryani chicken – The aroma of Biriyani immediately impress you. Heard a lot of stories about this place in Instagram. Quality-wise, this place is no doubt one of the better biryani places in Kolkata. However, there's a point to note whoever wishes to visit this place. If you want to have the signature dishes like dudhiya biryani or awadhi biryani, you would need to order 3 hours prior. We didn't, hence missed out on that. The southern avenue outlet was a bit small, but clean and simple interior works well for it. We had Mutton Galoti kebab, Lachcha paratha and mutton biryani and each of them were excellent. Would prefer to order one of the signature dishes next time. Good job!

Situated at 5 minutes walking distance from Mudiali Club serves one of the best Biryanis in town. Pappadam is the host restaurant where one can get Biryanishk as they don't have any individual seating arrangements for their guests till now. Coming over to food, it's literally spellbound. As an appetizer we ordered Murgh Shami Kebab which literally melted inside mouth. We tried Kolkata Classic Chicken and Mutton Biryani which were amazingly delicious, heavenly aromatic. Amazingly boiled pieces of meat. A single plate can easily feed 1.5 people. Any kind of Biryani is served with complementary Egg Salan which fulfils Side dish criteria. As far as hygiene and staff behaviour is concerned, It's full on. Moreover, definitely going to visit again.

Goan Jhinga Biryani - Jumbo Prawn Biryani as you might call it. I fell in love with this one. Goan flavours, with Prawn (Jhinga) 3. Awadhi Zafrani Biryani - Slow cooked, Awadhi Style, with malai 4. Premium Kolkata Biryani - Try this and feel the difference from the regular fare available in the city. 5. Tilli Kebab - Nice appetizer if you love chicken kebabs with Til (sesame seeds) 6. Murgh Angoori Kebab - Chicken Kabab with grapes? Seriously? Yes! And it tastes heavenly. 7. Samudrahara Bharta - Seafood Combo Bharta - complete with squids, prawns and crab meat. 8. Mango Firni - Great combo of Mango, Firni and Kesar...rarely found in any firni! The quantity is enough for 3 people at least and the ingredients were fresh, specially the prawns. Oil content was low and you will definitely not feel the greasy effect you are generally used to, after polishing off a plate of this Biryani. Service and Ambience were great. Definitely recommend this place to Kolkatan Foodies!

Murgh tiilli Kebab 3. Lucknowi Mutton Galauti Kebab 4. Zafrani Jhinga Malai Kebab MAINS 1. Gobindobhog Dudhiya Biryani Mutton 2. Goan Jhinga Biryani 3. Mutton Malai Biryani 4. Samudrahara Bharta The anguri kebab is one of the favourites. It has minced grapes in it. It has a transparent sweetness which make it very appealing. The tilli kebab is another find out of the lot. It has a lot of spice and flavours in it. Coming to the biryani the dudhiya biriyani is made with gonbindhobhog rice which has its own perfect aroma. The jhingaa Biryani gives you 12-15 pieces of prawns, this biriyani is made with South Indian spices.

Had the Kolkata Mutton Biryani from them, the previous day. Decent, run-of-the-mill Biryani. Here are my observations: Mildly fragrant - Check (sprinkled some Pepper to spike it up to my satisfaction) Not too oily - Check Doesn't feel heavy on the stomach - Check Balanced flavours - Check Nothing out of the world, yet nothing to complain about either. Now let's come to the moment of Truth, the two pieces of curry cut Mutton! Kolkata Biryani and curry cut meat aren't meant to be together. No acclaimed Bawarchi in the city worth his salt will be using curry cut meat in their Biryani. The piece has to be big, stocky and well made to the extent of falling off the bone. This is the unspoken yet much adhered to the 'Real McCoy' of the Kolkata Biryani, which sadly many outlets in the City, doesn't really bother two hoots about nowadays. Discount one and the balance tilts. And I am only counting the Mutton or Beef in my discussion. I don't consider Chicken to be 'Biryani worthy'. However, to brighten things a bit, I did find the meat succulent and juicy. Half marks there. Suggestion to the restaurant: They should consider serving a single chunk of meat, which can delight everyone from the hardcore connoisseurs to the average Jack and Jill. Charge me 250 or even 300 bucks, I won't bat an eyelid, but give me something that I can call 'bang for the buck' and talk about when I go back home. I don't expect to walk into the air conditioned environs of a restaurant, to be served something which I can very well get, being served in many roadside stalls scattered across the nooks and corners of the city and beyond. It was like taking out the Merchant from Venice. And that sort of an Egg Chaap that was provided as a side (for free), was too sweet and bland for a Chaap. My personal rating for the dish: 3 out of 5

The Food was very good. Specially the Mutton Biryani and the Raita. Mutton Galwati kebab was also very tasty. But they don't serve you mineral water. It was not available. Firni was not avaliable. Soda based drink was not available. They were busy with some press media etc. The Waiters were not at all attentive and the decor was not at all good and cosy. Ordered through Swiggy - GULBARG MASUR MUTTON BHUNA GHOST - soft pieces of boneless mutton, pan-fried with secret spices. Highly Recommended. CRAB MUMTAZI TIKKA - lacks the taste of the crab, due to the overpowering of spices MUTTON BIRYANI - very moist and tasty, would suggest to tone down the Keora water. ZAFRANI FIRNI - Highly Recommended.

The use of quality ingredients was apparent right from our first bite and the care with which the preparations were made clearly showed. It was a weekend visit to this place where you get food from two different restaurants under one roof. We tried food from both the restaurant to add different blend of tastes for our taste bud. We ordered Chicken Banno Kebab as starter which was very much new to me and that didn't dissapointed me as well. It is a perfect starter to start with which was spicy and had a coating of egg on it. We then tried their Egg Biriyani and mixed raita. The Biriyani was very simple and the raita was good as well. The staffs were very well behaved and they requested us to revisit them.

This outlet is merged with pappadam. Mostly priced decently. Service is of top notch. Good family types ambience. Cosy sitting arrangement. Portion size per plate is also good. My order was 1 Reshmi Kebab, 2 Mutton Biryani. The only issue i personally faced is the taste of their biryani. It was dry,salty and lacked spices. I do not like hot and spicy food at all,but that biryani and its rice lacked the masala and it was salty.And the aloo was not cooked(thats not a big deal as the chef cant dig inside the potato).Mutton piece was generous,an egg with it made me feel heavenly😁😁😁😁😁. As the name suggests,i request to please look forward and improve the Quality of Biryani as its THE BIRYANI COMPANY. Kebabs and the chutney served was heart warming.Amazing it was.

Sorry i cant be polite n friendly as yesterday i ordered a full plate mutton biriyani instead that i received only 2 pcs of mutton and 1 potato that too i paid extra charges of rs.5. And the total thing cost to me rs.180. It was just unexpected and disappointing. I would refer nobody to order from the biriyani company. Just ridiculous. Staffs behavior are just horrible. In short its a worst food corner.

Last evening i went there....the ambiance was good quite unique...THE BIRIYANI COMPANY was marged up with PAPPADAM....bt both outside and inside of the restuarant there was'nt mention the name THE BIRIYANI COMPANY anywhere....so we confused a little bit.....then the staffs were gave 2menu card one for THE BIRIYANI COMPANY and 2nd PAPPADAM.....staffs are really cordial.... Now talk about the food....we had ordered special mutton biriyani and chicken cheese kabab.... Kabab is sooo yummy....biriyani quantity was good....

I am a huge fan of their biriyanis.. Went there for so many times before..but food they served last day was horrible..we were bound to call the staffs and complain them about it... Ordered a special mutton biriyani and wanted to order more..but the biriyani was soo salty and the mutton..we complained and they changed that(might have added something to reduce the saltyness with the same portion served) but it was aweful.. They saw that we didnot eat that properly..still we had to pay for that food which sould not be done... Will not visit there ever in my life. Bcz they donot give priority to their customers..

The place is just few metres from the mudiali bus stop. The ambiance is unique. The quality of food is great and the staffs here are well maintained. This branch of the biriyani company is combined with the Papadam restaurant. The prices are normal and highly not overrated.

People of Kolkata love their biriyani, and selling biriyani here is a risky venture. The Biriyani Company is a new entrant to the scene, dominated by the Aminias and the Arsalans. And they are doing a pretty good job. I had their mutton biriyani and chicken reshmi kabab during last Durga pujo. The taste and quantity of the biriyani were both satisfactory. There was a single piece of mutton, which was cooked quite well. As is the norm, the rice was accompanied by an alu and an egg. As is not the norm, they had also packed a bowl of raita (South Indian influence?). Anyways, I love raita and won't complain about this! The reshmi kabab was soft and tasty as well. Overall, this place seemed as good as any of the other biriyani joints in the city.

Ordered their Special mutton biryani today. Firstly the thing which i absolutely love about biryani company is the fact that they dont add artificial colours, the biryanis are dalda free and are made from organic ghee. The biryani was delivered to me piping hot with two big pieces of mutton, (well i was lucky to get a raan piece), one big potato and an egg The quantity was sufficient for the two of us and the biryani was very light and fresh. Absolutely loved their mutton biryani. Looking forward to their side dishes as well. Highly recommended!

Got food delivered from The Biryani Company but surprised to see no branding on the food pack neither the delivery guy gave me any bill. Don't know whether Zomato has picked up the food from any road side food joint or not. Food was 3rd class. Never going to order from Zomato again for sure......

I have ordered biriyani from this place via Ubereats. They had 50% off on biriyani. With a promo code the price further reduced 50%.i had to pay 52 only. Coming to the food, it was really good in taste. The chicken size was Impressive and the rice had amazing smell. It was enough for two people. It was mentioned that burhani will be served with the biriyani. However, it did not turn up as expected.

I have never visited the place, but ordered a home delivery a lot of times. I must say the packaging is amazing, and the quantity provided is optimum!! Coming to the food, the Chicken Kebab, Chicken tikka butter masala, the biriyani all are amazing. The dish that stands out according to me is the Chicken Bharta, which is awesome, and very creamy. As carving for biryani today i had lot of options but i choose Biryani Company as i heard about this place alot. They have 3 outlets in kolkata but this outlet is nearest to my house. I ordered Mutton biryani. In the biryani a juicy piece of mutton cooked in dum style with the flavour of whole garam masala & saffron with long basmati rice, one egg & one potato. The taste of the biryani was perfect but what i don't like is the quantity. The quantity is so less that two full plate can be consumed by any person. The mutton boti is full of bone i could hardly find any meat. Packging is good as it was served in sealed plastic container. I would recommemd the place but due to the quantity issue it disappoints me. Hope they increase the quantity very soon or else no one will order after first order from here.
