Review China South - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Wamia Nawar
Their food is a must have whenever I visit kolkata. I love the taste. The schizuan chicken is very spicy and flavorful. The chowmein tastes amazing. The quantity is enough for 2 people.
Ruplekha Saha
Food quality was awesome, but in portion, it may be better. The ambiance was great, and the staff behavior was very humble.

I love this place for chicken mixed rice & chicken schezewan mixed rice, momo, the gravies they make. It's perfect for my taste buds !!! And lovely staff!!
David Biswas
Very good clean Chinese food. Portions are good and prices are reasonable.

This is a fast food restaurant in a Mall, so let's not get carried away with expectations. Having said that, I was really impressed with the quality of the cooking, freshness of the ingredients and general service. This is classic , homestyle Cantonese cooking. Very tasty and simple. I loved the pan fried chicken noodles, sui ma, momo and vegetarian haka noodles. I will recommend highly for simple enjoyable Chinese cooking. Take-out packing is very good as well.

While traveling to Kolkata & Quest mall in March I had a chance to have dinner there & explored China South with one of my teammates & we enjoyed Chinese food here, Nice food & affordable pricing is a key highlight. Must try once!!!
Amrita Mondal
A really great place for quality chinese food. The pan fried or gravy noodles are a recommended item. It is a treat for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. From appetisers to main courses , everything is well made. The quality and taste has remained the same for around 7 years that I have been eating there. The only crib is about the price , but then quality food comes at a price.
Heisenberg Kim
The MOMO I tasted in various cities in India was the most good.
Abida Khatun

I love the Sui mei and momos and panned chilli momo the sauce which is served along is spicy and full of flavour .Being a vegetarian just I doubt they use different steam boxes or not either wise love to go this joint for Some Chinese and Tibetan food.

They have this big shop in one corner of the quest food court. I have tried out their noodles and the noodles were really tasty the mixed noodles had huge amount of chicken and prawns.

The oil and the sauces were well balanced. Now coming to their chili chicken the taste was okayish but the quantity was really less.
One plate of noodles is enough for two.
Can definately try out this outlet for some tasty Chinese food❤️

Yesterday on 17th January 2020 me and my cousin brother Anooj had combo meal as well Tim.E bro and Joe K and Phuong Tran with JoJo Armani as well. I had non veg combo meal and my cousin brother Anooj had veg combo meal and we had a great time together at China South, Ballygunge inside the Quest Mall 4th Floor. Thank you so much China South for making our day incredible.

Momos are soft and delicious, can't resist them whenever I visit Quest. Haven't tried much of the other dishes but noodles are also good

Worst Customer Experience Ever. I had ordered sweet corn soup and found it very salty. So I requested the guy over the counter if he can get it fixed. Which is no big deal as it can completely happen , khaaney main namak zyada gir hi Sakta hai. To which this guy on the counter angrily took out his spoon and tasted it infront of me, infact made the other staff members also taste it and mockingly told me namak kahan zyada hai. It was pretty humilating, but I still persisted that make me new one as I wont have that soup and since u guys loved it consider the old one a treat. This time when the chef made a new one , the same waiter took at his spoon and tasted it infront of me and mockingly said ismain namak nai hai, khud daal lijeyga. This completely blew my mind. Till date I have never had such an experience in any food court. I do understand that chef do taste the food in the kitchen before serving but I have never seen or heard that a waiter would taste YOUR food rie under your nose and give u shit. All in all I can say is this place is SHIT. Honestly food was below average , which is ok as everyone has its own taste. But this behaviour was completely uncalled for as it was not like I was getting the soup for free.

I like the toss it up Noddles here. You can customise the dish at any levels like ingredients, toppings, sauce etc. Stir fried prawn is also nice.

Located in the food court area of quest mall with common sitting area.. We ordered :

1. VEG MIX MOMO : It was completely tasteless & didn't taste fresh at all. The sauce was good but not the momo.

2. MIX FRIED RICE :Fried rice with chicken & egg being it's main ingredients & some green veggies as well. Perfectly cooked, but would recommend it with some sort of gravy to enhance its savory.

#SERVICE : Hospitality & the service was fast.

One of the best pan fried noodles I have ever had, veg dimsum also thanks to chef Chang always ready to give me a wonderful experience with a warm smile on his face.
Si Pnto Lobo
A good place to eat from. Fairly quick and friendly service. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. The american chop suey, chicken hakka chow mein and chilli chicken are very good favourites, so are all the dishes on their menu. a must try if you are visiting Quest Mall and need to have a warm quick meal.

This is in the food court area of Quest mall.
Ordered dimsums which was quite upto the price. The noodles and drumsticks were quite average. Though this is quite cheaper part of the quest mall!
Pradipta
Food is good and satisfactory ..... Dimsums were really delicious . What I didn't like about the food was that it wasn't at all spicy ... The ambience(of the food court) is very good .In the food court ,one must surely opt for this 👌

Momos are my best friend.I really love momo and my favourite is the classic steam momo.Do comment which is your favourite. So coming to the dish, the momos were stuffed with chicken and very soft. The outer layering perfect and so was the ingredients inside.I like juicy momos and this one fall in this category. The dip served along side the momos complimented it well. They actually use bamboo steamers for the preparation which is a big plus.My only complain was the price other than that it was good.
My take 》3.8/5
This outlet is located at Quest Mall food court. This is one of the few outlet which serves good food in respect of the food court. The hygiene standard is well maintained but the service is quite slow.

The quality and taste of the food is really good
I usually like to have Chinese food from China South whether it's at home or at their place
China South has left a great remark on people
Thank you for serving us
First time ordered From here. Placed at quest mall food court, Ballygaunge.Easily viewed. Firtly we ordered one plate Egg Hakka Noodles And one medium sized coke. Quality and quantity was very good enough. Two people can easily eat. Overall nice
Himadri Karmakar
Its a good place that offers quality Chinese dishes. though a bit on the costly side keeping in mind that its a foodcourt stall, the food is good. We tried the mixed Hakka noodles and fish sui mai... both were well prepared.
Chandrima Ganguly
I absolutely love their momos and drums of heaven
The momos here are so juicy tender and yum and so are the spicy dips
The drums of heaven pieces are soft and perfectly spiced always their combos are cool too.

If you are in quest mall and you are looking for a cheap and tasty chinese meal, china south a decent place to try. I dropped in during busy sunday lunch hours and found the food court pretty crowded. With many outlets around, when I was confused where to pick the lunch from - my friend suggested this place.
Coming to the order - chicken steamed momo, chicken sweet corn soup, veg fried rice, chicken manchurian, chilli chicken dry and crispy gravy noodles. The wait time was too much and also there are no options to customize. The guy who was taking my order bluntly said no when I asked for a chicken fried rice w/o egg, pretty much like the road side eateries.
Anyways the food took a longggg time to be served - more than 30 minutes. I was nearly starving at this time.
Coming to taste - it was good. The momo, soup, chilli chicken, manchurian and noodles were all good. Really enjoyed the food. The taste is much like the old chinese eateries in kolkata.
If you ask me, overall my experience was okayish and as I started - you can opt for if looking for a cheaper chinese option in the quest mall.
Madhurima Ganguly
I ordered chicken momo and chicken drumsticks.extremely well cooked.the momor were too juicy and very well cooked.the stuffing was excellent.chicken drumsticks were really nice as in they were very thin coated and was full chicken.quatity was good. Service was prompt.
Abdul Wahid Khan
Most terrible food taste was disgusting dont ever thik to try quite expensive and quantity and quality of food was not good service was also not good we have to wait quite long
Dhruv Shah
Had ordered Toss It up about a week back and it was not made as per instruction but what they delivered also showed their miserness. They put wrong sauces, made it very sweet, did not put any exotic vegetables that they have at their counter at Quest Mall, only put Corn and Babycorn. They charge around 350 bucks but want to spend 10 bucks on the food ingredients! Never order from such outlets! And i say this even though it is my favourite dish among all at Quest!!
Sarthak Maiti
This is part of Quest Foodcourt which gets heavy footfall.
As the name suggests their menu is limited to Chinese only.
A bit slow to serve after the order is placed.
Food is average. Nothing great or extraordinary type. It's okay okay type.
I had paneer also which was not properly cooked and pieces were on the harder side. Didn't like it.
Overall the expectation was higher than the food actually was served.
Zoque
Got Chilli garlic veg noodles..which was yum..... quantity is good , pricing is quite well too ! Their menu is not out of the box..but kimchi is available... 👍 Must try place.
Nafisa Khan
today Momo was really bad
Shreyas Surya Dasgupta
An outlet at quest food court. Standard Chinese preparation. Not much to speak of. Nothing extraordinary. Okayish.
Had non veg combo , momo and dey chilli chicken
Dr. Nilofer Hossain
The busiest joint in the food court of the Quest Mall. They serve decent Chinese cuisine. Coz of footfall, the service may get a bit delayed. We ordered chicken momos, mixed hakka noodles which had chicken, egg and shrimp, chicken in hot garlic sauce, prawn in blackened sauce. The chicken dish was good and hakka noodles were also nice. The dimsum is not worth the money you pay. In a nutshell, it’s a place to grab some quick meal after shopping but nothing too fancy.

The movies at Inox in Quest Mall was fantastic and all of us friends were actually enjoying our thursday outings and then suddenly we(15 people)decided to try out the Non Veg Combo in China South in Quest Mall food court for
dinner and it was not even 8pm.

But to our utter disappointment and disbelief we were told by one China South staff(SUNIL is what he called himself, when asked what his name was) that the sauces for the combo is all over and henced no combo is available???

Is this some kind of an excuse???
Suchandra Kar
I had their mixed pan fried noodles and i just fell in love with it. It was loaded with vegges , shrimps and chicken.
I had an awesome experience...highly recommend!!
Satish Shaw
Delivery boy was very energetic needed some patience when he talk , everything else was very good.

Located on the food court of quest mall this is one of the busiest kiosks. We had prawn Nd chicken sui mai and pan fried gravy noodles.. The prawn sui mai was delicious with burnt garlic and also had a hot sauce which made it more delicious.. The the noodles was delicious.. Full of veggies and prawns.. Fresh and. Low on spice and very welcome after the spicy sauce of the sui mai.

Chinese has been my favourite cuisine .... With economical budget had a perfect Chinese meal... wanna visit there again....the noodles contains all the items in a perfect proportion and one plate is sufficient for two people ...
Shireen Dias
The Non veg combo for one was horrible. The noodles was tasting too thick and wasnt cooked well, the chicken was salty.. not recommended...! The wonton was ok but a lil less salt. Cudnt finish it. Waste of money.

This outlet licated at Quest Mall, Kolkata. I tried types of momos here. All the momos were good, not excellent to me atleast. I don't like paneer momo, stuffing of this item was very poor. But I liked most the masroom momo, great taste. I was really impressed with their Presentation. And the Momo sauces were awesome. Overall a average experience. You can visit atleast one time.
Medha & Mohor
Lifestyle 50% sale was on and we decided to go Shopping. Shopping makes one hungry and when you are in Quest your tummy keeps pleading you to visit the food court. So, did my tummy and immediately after the shopping I found myself in the food court and to be specific in front of China South. We ordered Momo. It was really soft and juicy with the right amount of chicken shreds inside it. The sauce was really spicy though.
Shreya Karan
Well to be honest I had expected better as it is situated in the food court of quest mall and it was quite populated. We had ordered 2 plates of chicken momo, instead was given 1 plate and 1 plate of something completely different. From the taste of it, it seemed like mushrooms/minced vegetables. No idea!
The one plate of chicken momo tasted good but something was off about it, because it tasted rather like sausage mince or something artificial. 😅 A very weird experience.
Sanskriti.jalan23
They alwayss say that the do not have exotic vegetables and without that it is not possible to eat noodles.
Aarti Vijay
Order received and hour late after the alloted delivery time
Divya Sharan
Food is not upto the mark of typical Chinese cuisine and could do a lot of fine tuning...
In terms of service the place is fine and so are the people working here
Siddhi Khirwal
Located at the food court of quest mall.
They serve amazing Chinese cuisine.
Well I tried veg noodles, Manchurian and Chilly Paneer.
Noodles & Manchurian were delicious but Chilly Panner was not at all good.
Maria
Bought panner chilly momo and chicken momo...
Tasted gud especially the sauce accompanied by the dish.. but compared to the price u pay for the dish I feel they should really work on putting more stuffing....

I have been to China south for many times with my family and friends but time was very dispointing I have order chicken fried rice , chicken hakka noddle and chicken hot garlic
I got chicken fried rice and chicken hakka noddle first
I got hot garlic chicken after 25 min

China South
This quality place can be located in the food court of Quest Mall.It was the largest counter in the food court and the decor was quite entrancing. We ordered a non-veg combo meal...
It comprised the following
Veg Side - Mixed Devil Veg - It was just ok for my taste.
Non-Veg Side- Chicken Manchurian - The meatballs were juicy and succulent. I liked the taste
Noodles- It was just ok. could have been done better.
Wonton- They were crisp and tasty. But on the contrary, it was much oily.
Kimchi- Just the usual taste and texture. The right amount of ingredients.

Overall it was pretty good and value for money...
one can give it a try if on a budget and not be disappointed both in terms of quantity and quality@FoodZpah
#GastronomicRover

This place is one of the biggest counters in the food court of Quest mall. The food is really reasonable and yummy. I personally loved the fish Sui Mui and their pan fried fish. Apart from that we had chicken drumsticks and pan fried noodles which was absolutely worth the penny!

Overall affordable good quality food! 😍
Shreya
This place really disappointed me. We just ordered one plate chicken hakka noodles. The staffs seemed confused and cannot manage the orders. They too treated the other customers roughly. Finally they served us almost after an hour. The noodles was good. But nothing extraordinary. One plate is not enough for even 2 people and price is too high compared to that.
Sriparna Roy
I always eat here whenever I come to Quest. My favourites are the Pan fried noodles- this is so good you HAVE to order.
The momos- pretty tasty too
Pan fried fish- the fish is so soft and perfectly compliments the noodles.

Must try!

dimsum? yumm.. noodles and fried rice? more than enough to keep you full for the day. side dishes? tasty. pocket friendly? hell yeah!! ask me what i don't like about this place?!
Pooja Saha
first time i went there.tried pan fry chilli fish n crispy fish in chilli honey sauce...pan fry chilli fish was ok type.but chilli honey sauce one was very bad..it was very sweet.i dont like the taste of it.quality of the fish was also not very good.
Satish Sahu
It is situated in the food court of Quest mall.We had mix non veg noodle which was quite good and noodle quality was very good. There were ample amount of chicken and prawn pieces but prices are very much high as compare to the quantity.
Alisha Seddon
As a momo lover, we always prefer having momos wherever we go. This time, the pocket pinch was too much for ordinary steamed momos. We ordered Chicken Steamed momos, which came with 6 pieces of Chicken momos. I won't say that the momos were flavourless, but the price paid for it was too much. Nothing special for it to be so expensive. The sauce was good and spicy. In an over-priced food court like Quest Mall, the momos were reasonably priced and slightly appetizing too.

I didnt recieve the food. my guest went back without having dinner

Visited this place with friends on a weekend.Counter was almost empty Not worth the price charged.
Ordered fish momo.
Taste not satisfactory.
Prices are on the higher side.
Not worth a try.
This is a good place to have Chinese in Quest Mall at affordable price range. I have been there quite a lot of times and there service is good . Coming to taste , the dishes are delicious. The Momos are really good (must have). There combos are also good. The only thing that I would recommend them is that they should increase the quantity of their rice and noodles in Combo Meals. It is quite less for the price they charge for their combos. Other than that the Food is really good .Sumbul Afrin

We just had a Tai Pai chicken here which was for 250 rupees.10 pieces of boneless chicken, diced red and yellow bell pepper and tangy sauce with lots of garlic. I've had this dish at quite a lot of places and loved it but I don't like what I had here. Other than that, the service is quick and there is a lot of variety to choose from.
Prateek Kumar
Extremely poor experience. The staff doesn’t want to take the order at all and does not have patience. Extremely rude behaviour as well. Service can definitely better.

Located in the food court of Quest mall, this place was a disappointment really. We decided to order the non veg combo (for two) for lunch. The combo comprised of
• A Chinese style veg preparation, it had bell peppers, squash, cabbage etc. The gravy was bland.
• One bowl of Chilli Chicken, chicken was not so fresh
• Medium bowl of veg Noodles (you can also opt for veg rice). This was another disappointing thing because I thought at least the staple preparation would be a non veg one since they call it the "non veg combo".
• 4 Wontons, they were crispy and the only good thing about the combo
• 4 Sago Papads
• A small bowl of Kimchi which was okay!
The combo cost us around INR 650, including tax.

Their service is slow. The staff was helpful though. They do not have a separate seating area so you have to use the food court tables.
A.P Chatterjee

China South is located in the food court of Quest Mall, visited this place with family few days ago.Veg. hot and sour soup was nice to start with.In main course we have tried the Veg Hakka Noodles with Vegetable Manchurian. Noodles were satisfactory in taste but Manchurian was not up to the mark and lack of salt.Service was fast and prompt.Overall you can try this place when you are hungry and no other options are there.
Pb
A decent outlet with decent food, in Quest Mall. However, the cashier is very disrespectful and rude. The management seriously needs to look into the kind of people they are hiring to represent the brand. It is almost like he is doing a favour by taking your order.
Kshamz Akbar
I ordered for ginger chicken fried rice and garlic chicken. The fried rice was absolute tasteless and raw , the local fast food center food would taste better than this, the veggies were not cooked well as well.
Wahid Hossain
Toss it up is one of their unique dish. Customers get to choose from a variety of ingredients which are added by the chef and then prepared.Nice place to have chinese food.recently I ordered pan fried chicken noodles at my home.Very tasty and looks beautiful.
Arnab Mandal
The best food stall in quest food court, it doesnt serve the so called indian chinese menu, they make authentice chinese flavour, thats what sets it apart from other chinese joints
Subham Seal(Subham Da FoodyBaba)
Ordered only 2 large cold drinks.Which was pretty much value for money.65 rs only.Good for seating in the food court.Though next time I will definately wants to visit chilis
Akruti Acharya
I tried their mix veg momo. They presented it well in a bamboo steamer basket. The texture of momo was good and that was the only thing I liked. But the filling did not taste good. The mix veg was basically cabbage. They need to work on their filling. Also the size of the momo looks ok in the picture but was actually small. Overall did not have a good experience. Not worth spending 140 on mix veg momo.

This place is located in the food court of quest mall and undoubtedly it serves one of the most affordable and best chinese food in town. Prompt and quick service with food that tastes amazing and the quantity which is definitely for more than one person, this place never fails to surprise.Great food and the best part is that you can never go wrong with chinese cuisine. This place is a must visit for all food loving enthusiasts...

This place has been my all time favourite. Their chinese delicacies are something which i love. My most favourite dish is the chicken momo. I visit this place quite often for the momos. Now coming to other dishes. We ordered crispy chilli babycorn , pan fried chilli fish qnd crispy fish in chilli honey sauce. The crispy fish in chili honey sauce was the best. For the main course we ordered mixed fried rice , mixed hakka noodles , panfried noodles. They were equally good. Side dishes were chicken Manchurian and szechwan chicken. The experience was very good .

Its one of the most important food station at the quest mall food court. However the quality and the quantity has to improve immensely. Very popular one it has to pull up its socks. Having said that the menu is diverse and pretty nice with great combinations.
Dominic Ryan
The affordable Chinese cuisine in town with moderate taste as a choice if doesn’t want to go to Chinatown and most importantly tastes are mild

We Ordered Crispy Chilli Babycorn and its tasty! Nice and quick service..Overall a good experience! Looking forward to taste their Chinese combos.

I would humbly ask the owner of the place to have a check on the employees picture that i added along with the review. His attitude very disrespectful arrogant and putting off. Upon asking him questions about the combo he showed an attitude as if we as customers are slaves to him. I asked him for a softdrink " bhaiya coke hai fountain se denge to check karwa dijiye flat nai hona chaiye." He replied " fountain hai flat hi milega lena hai kya ?" I didn't want to upset myself asking him bout his name or saying anything to him. I asked him " combo me kya hai?" He replied " combo khatam hai" they have big boards of combo placed multiple places on the counter. I felt like kicking his balls out of his mouth but didn't want to create a scene in public place. I want you to enquire on this incident.

Good Chinese but as per food court standards the prices are a little on the higher side. I had ordered a pan fried chicken noodle. Taste is very good and so is their presentation. Service is quite fast if there isn't much of a rush. Only one suggestion incase they can incorporate is that they should have more variety of Thai cuisine like phad Thai and Penang a curry cause do serve Thai red curry and Tom yum soup. Incase you eat here you should not miss their momos. They are excellent. My experience in a nutshell : satisfying!!

Everyone loves Chinese food, which is why every food court has one. QCourt's Chinese kiosk is by China South, where I dug into a plate of Pan Fried Noodles. It tasted very different from the "gravy chow mein" that we all are used to. The noodles were coated in gravy with subtle flavours, and the dish was loaded with diced chicken and exotic veggies. I also tried the Chicken Momos, which were quite meaty, and served with two dips. Overall, the food here is not the typical ketchup-dipped Indian Chinese mess.
Subham Ghosh
This is the only place in the QCourt which serves Chinese. I tried the two signature dishes - Steamed Chicken Momos and PanFried Noodles. The momos were served in a closed basket. This was unlike the paper boxes in which the other kiosks in the city serve momos. There were six momos in the basket, which were served with a spicy tomato ketchup and coriander chutney. The momos were very juicy and the stuffing of minced chicken was quite generous.

The Pan Fried Noodles had chicken chunks along with veggies like broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower, bell peppers, etc. I loved the mild flavour of the noodles and the juicy veggies. One can have it with or without any side dish, as per requirement. The portion size is perfect for a single person.

Debajyoti (www.foodiedada.com)
Every mall food court has a Chinese food kiosk, there is nothing out of the box in that. Also these kiosks share a weird similarity in their quality and quantity standards. It's hard to distinguish between them actually. Unless you come across some place which operates at a level that's a notch higher. Recently I came across 'China South' at Quest Mall food court and I realised that a food court eatery serving Oriental dishes can also blow your mind away!!

Their menu is not about Indian style Chinese cuisine, in fact it is totally different from that. Here you get a hint of typical South East Asian cuisine. On this visit, we played a bit safe though and ordered for Steamed Chicken momos and Chicken Pan Fried noodles. Next time I am sure to atleast try out their Chicken Sui Mai!

Coming back to what I tasted, the chicken Momo's were served in typical bamboo basket/steamer which is only found in proper restaurants in Kolkata and you won't get this at any mall food court in the city. Along with that a spicy tomato sauce was served (not really a red hot garlicky momo dip I was looking for) and a coriander dip. The steamed momos were simply out of the world!! They were literally fantastic. They were extremely juicy and soft, with flavourful minced chicken, onion, coriander, garlic filling. I just felt that the filling can be made a tad more generous. But still I will come back to this place for these steamed momos. The chicken Pan Fried noodles was also very well prepared and had loads of diced exotic veggies in there like zucchini, broccoli, red and yellow bell peppers, etc. Overall a filling and comforting meal in the end that truly pleased our poor souls!

The service is pretty prompt out here and keeping the quality in mind, the prices are reasonable. I would rate this place 8.5 out of 10 and a big thumbs up from my side. After a long time I am impressed so much with a food court eatery, and that too in Kolkata! Surely do give it a try!

Cheers!

Chinese eating restaurant's isn't anything of a difficult task these days to find them. However how much authenticity does a place holds up too in general eyes, probably the least and unknown ones. Now forget about restaurant's to do that part for a while and let's look at an different kind which works well too. The food counters of mall aren't any thing less in giving you what you want in the most fine way.China South situated at the food court of Quest Mall,Q Court is a place to visit to get those lip smacking oriental delicacies.I was invited here by First Idea Pr and i was involved in a tasting session which had Chicken Steam Momos and Chicken Pan Fried Noodles. To be real quick here on my verdict i would say the noodles had something not very impressive but just a good eat. The noodles were loaded with veggies and chicken pieces stir fried.Moving on to the Momos ,they were definitely juicy and full on delicious. I loved how the steamer basket looked loaded once it was open unlike other places which gives an eye wash .
Do try out even other takes from this place as a lot of options you get for satisfying the Chinese eating crave in you and ofcourse do try the ones i ate too 👍

China south is situated in the food court of Quest mall.
They serve good chinese food.
What i liked the most here was the non veg mongolian they serve.
You can pick and choose vegetables as per your preference and they make it according to your taste.

Also the crispy chilli baby corn that they serve is satisfactory.

Having stayed in Delhi for 6 years, I always have craving for Crispy Chilly Potato. So I went ahead and ordered and I was disappointed. It was very spicy, there was a lot of green chillies and it was actually quite tasteless. The noodles was quite bland too. The service was extremely slow and their billing machine stopped working and we had to just stand for 10-15 minutes staring. They also don't announce that the order is ready or give time.
Service 1/5
Food 2.5/5
Value for money 3.5/5
Located in the food court of quest mall this is the only Chinese outlet in the food court. They serve delicious Chinese. We tried their chicken siumai. Quite delicious and perfectly cooked. Good place for Chinese.

The food is nothing extraordinary as per their pricing. Decent preparations with high service time. Also, the quantity of food might turn out to be a disappointment for many (like me).

Visited this few weeks back. This is arguably the best outlet in Quest Mall food Court. The food is delicious and the quantity is sufficient. Though they charge 50 for a liter of water which is ridiculous.

Food in China South has a nice chinese feel. We ordered Two Chicken Capsicum Momo that was served perfectly! It tasted good too. ❤️ though the momos were small.. They were flavourful. I absolutely loved the sauce they gave with the momo. 😌

I visited here with my friend.. This place located in food court of Quest Mall... I ordered one sezwan Friedrice , and one sezwan chicken... Fried rice was really too good and sufficient quantity for two people.

Ordered two TOSS-IT-UPs. The man at the billing counter did not even ask for my choice of vegetables/sauces. Infact they just took the money and asked me to wait for my turn. Upon my turn I was produced with two bowls of shit. Super soggy and horrible to taste. Roadside noodles taste better. Terrible service plus yuck soggy urine noodles . NEVER EVER AGAIN
