Review Concept Foods - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Meghna Chakraborty
They have varieties of pastries, cookies and chocolates. The best part is all of the pastries are unique and extremely tasty. There were milkshakes too, but those tasted kinda iffy. I tried the choco cone (Rs 45), Choco Boat (Rs 40) and the Oreo milkshake. Overall it's one of the best place for desserts.

It's a very small shop for cakes cookies ; mocktails; various flavor shakes; pastries.. Pastries are good & worthy at price. I tried gindhoraj pastry(40 rs) &chocolate roll pastry(45rs)... They are delicious Besides this I tried mango shake(70) & litchi punch moktail(50rs) .. They are also good It is exactly in Lords more( besides leons restaurant & mio amore).. Go here & try the foods
Sadaf Nasim
This is a hidden confectionery and is located in Lord's More. They have affordable pastries , coolers like Virgin Mojito, Blue Lagoon etc which costs around 50-70/- . I tried chocolate cone was delicious at such an affordable price. It is a pocket friendly.

Out of MIO AMORE & MONGINIS I tasted a good confectionery priceful but the quality and taste of its pastries are very good.

I always been a fan of this brand as they provide fresh, good quality and quantity food at reasonable prices... Starting from their pastries today their patties, I love it all... They also have a live cake baking centre, where you can literally see them making the cake in front of you... I really love this brand!!

The place is really nice and serves good quality food at affordable prices. The grilled chicken sandwich, pastries and cheesecakes are so tasty. The icecreams available here are so tasty and just costs ₹30/scoop.<br/>The bakery section is also commendable .

We have fallen for this new open end swissyum outlet beside mio amore, and trust me their new decor and service is catching greedy food lovers like us. We r having most of their food day by day, pica are uploaded, their reasonable priced shakes are a must have, and snacks are also top notch excluding the chicken sandwich. Go and have some food

The outlet is not spacious enough but for 4 members... The price is quuie pocket friendly...<br/>I just ordered "fish roll"...the stuffed fish was really freash and testy.... But my favourite item is chicken envelope.... Chicken lover can try it...<br/>

This place has got almost all types of beverages.<br/>I had chocolate mousse. It is too good to taste and it costs 40 bucks. One can order cake according to their taste for any occasion. They have different chocolates. Thr place is too small and can accommodate only about 6 people. One will get different types of breads, sandwiches and bergers. They should be prompt in their service and is not very spacious.

Swissyum is a small pocket friendly bakery located in the same lanes of Shawarma Nation.<br/>We had here Chicken Burger & Blueberry Cheese Cake.<br/>The "Chicken Burger" from Swissyum becomes a mess when you have it but the mess is totally worthy. It's a must try for all the burger lovers. Soft buns with a delicious juicy chicken patty tasted heavenly. The burgers were loaded with melted cheese, mayonnaise, cucumbers, onions & lettuce, served with tomato ketchup.I absolutely loved it.<br/>I loved the "Kebab Puff" too.<br/>The "Blueberry Cheese Cake" & "Choco Marvel Pastry" was fresh & tasted amazing.<br/>The "Mango Lassi" & "Blueberry Lassi" were amazing in terms of taste and refreshing too.<br/>I would definitely love to visit them again.

The sudden post office plan with my buddy made my day with scoop of yummy chocolate ice cream and pieces of choco truffles. Though our little appetite prevented us from nibbling the other flavours of pastries. But we made it sure to keep them in store for our next meeting. Seriously wide variety of mouth watering cakes confectioneries and ice cream served in beautiful cool red surrounding. Cold storages with array of pastries and ice cream will melt the heart. On my way back home most of the time I drop into this place to try different variations soothes my sweet tooth.

I absolutely freakingly loved this bakery. It's a very small and cute bakery located in the same lane as the shawarma nation. They have two tables, so around 6 people can sit. They have variety of snacks, packaged food and shakes. We ordered the blueberry shake, mango shake and a chocolate pastry. My favourite was blueberry shake and I would recommend you to try it too.<br/>It's pretty pocket friendly and the staff is friendly.

A sleek narrow rectangular store filled with ice creams, pastries, confectioneries, snacks, etc. It's a takeaway only, but one may choose to stand and savour a little inside the store as well.<br/><br/>* Location: A little tricky to locate as you blink and miss this tiny store at Lord's More. Take the right hand side footpath of the Golf green road and locate the store right after shawarma nation and a couple of other stores.<br/><br/>* Food & beverages: things I've had here over a number of visits are -<br/><br/>* Nolen gur ice cream (Fab, it was)<br/>* Chicken patties<br/>* Pastries like Choco truffle, brownie, red velvet pyramid<br/>* Mousse: Choco truffle mousse.<br/>* Muffin<br/>* Love their packaged snacks like Pudina peanuts, jhalmuri, chanachur, etc.<br/><br/>Needless to say that each one of these things are so yum that I give this place a visit whenever I'm nearby.<br/><br/>There's an abundance of variants of products to choose from.<br/><br/>

This place used to be one of my favorites because of the wonderful fresh cream pastries and cakes that are mostly unavailable in other leading cake shops in the city. The best thing they make is definitely the Fresh Mango Cake that's amazingly delicious and the just-prepared factor just adds to the taste. But today when I visited this outlet, the reluctance to even take an order was surprising, to say the least. Inspite of requesting them to take an order, they just kept making excuses like the mangoes are supposedly very sour and mangoes are unavailable and many other lame alibis. I had ordered the same cake nearly 5 times in the past two years and I've always found the mangoes very sweet. I don't know what makes them sour this year. And they kept on suggesting other mango pulp cakes which I was clearly not interested in.<br/><br/>A very disgusting approach towards a customer.
Deepika
my order is incomplete they have given me 2pc choco brownie instead of 4pcs

My family has always been a great fan of Swissyum bakery and have always been happy with the products.<br/>But this Saturday, the pastry which we got was all stale and caused severe stomach infection.<br/>Am strongly asking Swissyum management to check your product quality as this is just te worst experience for people who take away products from your shop daily.<br/>Please take serious action Swissyum!!!

A very easily locatable place , situated exactly at Lake Gardens Bus stopage .<br/><br/>Accomodation is not good though . But the food is awesome. We took Chocolate Cone and Blueberry Mousse. Satisfied my taste bud and price is very reasonable. <br/><br/>A good pick-up , do hit the place some day :)

The quality of the cake was good. Nice cream...love to eat that chocolate cake. But the handwritting of the man who has written in the cake was really very bad. The cake became tight when it was cut, the softness was not there

An amazing place with amazing range of desserts and the most wonderful thing that not a single creation of theirs let's you down..a total worth of money and a must visit.

My sister got me a chocolate truffle mousse from there. This outlet is near Lords more. Not very popular. But they dish up some amazing deserts. I have always loved their mousse. This time too I loved it. The mousse was served in a plastic glass with a cover on it. There were tempered chocolate and cashew on the top. The chocolate had lost it's crisp by the time I got to taste it. But I could tell that it was beautifully tempered. The mousse itself was decadent. It was really smooth. I loved this one. So, thumbs up for that. Looking forward to trying some more. Praggya Das

Located near Lord's more, this tiny shop serves the best desserts in town. Today I bought their Chocolate truffle mousse. Only cost 50bucks. The mousse was served in a plastic glass with a covering. The taste was really nice. Loads of nuts were present. Really enjoyed it.

There are two outlets near Lord's crossing, this one is towards Golf green.<br/>They provide modestly priced, good quality bakery and confectionary products.<br/>Their puffs and patties sell like hot cakes in the evening and are over before you expected.<br/>They provide a wide variety of cakes, biscuits, cookies and other salted products.<br/>Their pastries and cakes are also good.<br/>Freshness of their products is guaranteed with minimal pocket pinch.<br/>

While coming home my dad purchased this pastry for me so i dont have any idea of its name. The pastry looks good. It tastes yumm and quite soft. Loved the flavours. Price is quite moderate. A nice place to have food.

I have been a regular customer of this place. Today I went to buy a birthday cake. We got blackforest cake. Which was reasonably priced. But the buck stops here. It was very dry. We also bought " "chicken envelopes" ---why are they called envelope? It is a piece of bread where you have to search the chicken with a magnifying glass and is fried. The chicken tikka roll was also pathetic. The standard has fallen. SAD affair. Shirin Ganguli @Saurav Ganguli.

Yes, no doubt this place is LOVE. A place which aims not only to do away with your hunger, but definitely appeals to your taste buds. Snacks are always fresh and tasty. Cakes and pastries are also yummy. Visited always whenever i happen to go to Lords more (prince anwar shah road).

Last year got my mom's birthday cake from this joint after hearing praises from a friend and yes it was no doubt good. Had placed an order 2 days back and got it collected on birthday. Must say that the man at the counter was very helpful.<br/><br/>The cake not only sat pretty just as ordered from their catelogue but also tasted decent with crunchies embedded inside the chocolate layer.<br/><br/>My second encounter of this bakery was when my friend gave me a surprise getting a chocolate praline cake on my birthday. It was simply mind-blowing, all my friends loved its yummy taste and gooey chocolatyness and was in complete awe of this bakery. I had already ordered my birthday cake from Krazzy for Chocolates (which was heavenly) but was extremely elated to find Swissyum Concept Foods' Chocolate Praline Cake giving a good competition to the former big brand.<br/><br/>Highly recommended, esp their Chocolate Praline Cake. A shot is worthy!<br/>

We ordered a chicken Internet, chicken heart, chicken kabab and chocolate cone. The food was fresh and hot. Had a good amount of fill of chicken. The cone was made of dark chocolate and it filled with chocolate cream, cake, choco chips, and vanilla cream. The place is a dessert heaven and really has different kinds of desserts. Will visit again.

If not for anything but for the Chocolate Cone and the Coconut Payesh which has a very unique way of presentation too,one should visit this confectionery.I have had them for "N" number of times and my love for these two things are still the same as it was on the first day I have tasted.<br/>Apart from that the Chocolate truffle and Blackforest cakes that are to be ordered for birthdays are worth it.They sell fresh items and have a series of snacks and bakery items in their menu. The Swiss rolls are my favorite too.(Blueberry and Chocolate). The chocolate red velvet cake is also yummy.<br/>Good service- Check ✔<br/>Good quality-Check✔<br/>Good presentation-Check✔<br/>Good food-check✔<br/>

This place is located at Lord's More. This place had been there in our wishlist since a long time particularly due to the good reviews we read in Zomato and also due to the awesome looking delicacies they serve here. However, this place did disappoint us. We had ordered Choco Cone, Kiwi Pastry and Blueberry Mousse.<br/><br/><br/>Choco Cone(4.5/5): This is the signature item of this brand. I don't think anyone who visits a Swissyumm store misses out on this item. No one should. The outer covering, the cream, the chocolate shavings everything made this item a special one. A must-try item.<br/><br/><br/>Kiwi Pastry(2.5/5): It was a normal pastry with a kiwi jelly layer on top. The kiwi flavoured layer comes off the pastry when you try to cut the pastry for having it, hence, leaving the bland pastry behind. It looks very tempting but actually is very disappointing.<br/><br/><br/>Blueberry Mousse(3/5): This item was highly recommended by a few reviewers. This had enough of flavours, however, I have had way better mousse elsewhere. The taste was very average.<br/><br/><br/>Overhyped? Might be; or it might as well be that it was our bad luck that we did not get the fresh products. Whatever it be, we would prefer fresher items to be served. We visited this place with a lot of expectations but came out utterly disappointed. Other than the Choco Cone, which was pure bliss, the other items really failed to impress me.<br/><br/><br/>The person serving the food also had a lackadaisical attitude. It felt as if he was disturbed on every item we were ordering. He had problems with us clicking pictures of the place and of the food items too. God knows why!
Coolcandy Ankita
Had read a lot of good reviews about this place on zomato hence decided to pay a visit!<br/>Tried the following items from here-<br/><br/>1) choco cone(4.5/5): I didn't expect it to be so big! It had an outer covering of solid chocolate the inside of which is filled with chocolate cream and on the top it's drizzled with chocolate shavings! Highly recommended!!<br/><br/>2) kiwi pastry(2/5): tasteless! The jelly like layer on top comes off and sticks to the spoon when you try to cut a small piece from it moreover the entire cake had no flavour at all! Also the cake could have been softer! I dont k now was it my luck or were the items not fresh! I suppose the latter...<br/><br/>3) blueberry mousse(2.5/5): after the choco cone the product raved about from this brand is the Blueberry mousse and when I took a spoonful of it ,I knew it wasn't fresh! The Blueberry jam on top was clogged and rubbery as one can see in the pics! The cream underneath was okay! It wasn't tasteless like the former but I have tasted better tasting, fresher blueberry mousse in the past!<br/><br/>Overall I would say that perhaps their products are good but in order for them to be so- they got to be fresh! Unfortunately the day I visited 2/3 items didn't seem fresh at all! I had a lot of expectations from this place,so I am disappointed!

A foodie who has a crave for creams will always love Swissyum. The orange one is full cream mixed with real oranges filled inside. One will always like the presentation as well as the yummy thing to taste. The chocolate one is specially recommended as it's topping is dark chocolate.

This place is just fantastic. As you enter the tempting aroma of freshly baked goodies welcome you. You can find a wide range of products lined up. They have kept up the quality of the food which has been a treat to foodies. <br/><br/>I love their Choco mousse and tender coconut mousse, kiwi pastry and lemon tart. Their taste is always same never disappointed.

Used to hang out here during my college days. The assorted ice cream falvours and the various kinds of pastries are the ones to look out for. I also enjoyed their big chicken burgers which are quite difficult to bite due to their huge size but are nonetheless delicious. Prices are very much affordable and the staff is courteous.

Swissyum s at Lords more is doing very well these days and it's really good to c them coming up with innovative varieties. I love their cookies especially the sugar free ones. In pastries the blueberry is my favourite. Their chocolate and black forest cakes and mousses are not only tasty but pocket friendly too.The fruit cakes and muffins can be tried with coffe and tea... Good luck

My first experiment with Nolen gur ice cream. Never could i forget that feeling of the cold gur flavour in my mouth... How can i forget the orange mousse... Served inside the orange peel... Heavenly!!

The name itself suggests something different. There are two outlets of Concept foods near Lords crossing. N thankfully they accept card payment. Had read the reviews on zomato and was genuinely looking forward to sampling desserts from here. So ordered choco cones, kiwi pastry, tender coconut mousse and blueberry mousse. The choco cones can give a foodgasm even to non chocoholics. Crafted in the shape of a cone made of pure chocolate it basically contains a brownie topped with choco cream and sprinkled with choco flakes.#musttry <br/>Next was the blueberry mousse which contained a subtle flavor with bits of chopped of blueberry.Perfect for the light hearted coz it's not overly sweet as most of the time mousses turn out to be. A delight to taste. The Kiwi pastry was okayish. Normal pastry with kiwi flavour and topped with kiwi marmalade kind of a spread. Last the coconut mousse which was supposed to be the best dessert of this place! Alas! I did not like it at all. Too Creamy it was for my taste and had a peculiar smell.( I'm not much of a coconut lover so that might be the reason. Or it may b the case that they use coconut shell as the container and chopped bits of coconut blended within the cream and hence the smell. Overall m not complaining. But I just found this item to b over-hyped). Well a word of caution- If you are a dessert person like me you will love every item this place offers. But yes I found all the items to be way too much Creamy ( eg- the kiwi pastry was more of a creamy affair than it should have been). The outlet is well stocked ranging from snacks to desserts and even chire bhaja, breads and muffins the plus point being all the items are fresh and have a natural flavour and are incredibly light. Which is the only reason for me giving extra .5 cz you don't need to be guilty after having all these delicacies. So for all the calorie conscious foodies out there this is the place to be. Nice concept and even nicer food. No snobbish decor,no artificial flavours and very very pocket friendly place.Way to go....

This is a place for bakery items and are good in quality. The prices are reasonable. I liked the Kiwi Pastry and strawberry mousse. The cheese masala bread avaialble at this place are fresh and tasty.

Intro : it's a bakery and confectionery joint off PAS road . Interiors done bit differently<br/><br/>Food : Had a chicken Kebab Puff - 2-3 very decent sized chicken kebab wrapped with the typical puff wrap. Liked the taste .3.5/5<br/><br/>Overall 3.5/5

I would list this second best cake shop in the city after Kookie Jar.. Love the cakes here.. the best thing not as overpriced as Kookie Jar.. it's quite reasonable.<br/>😊

I ordered one coffee cake. I forgot its full name but IT WAS AMAZIIIING... Its highly reasonable n cheap at times. If you are in love with coconut then you should definately try their coconut kheer. You just get that for Rs.30. They are quite good. :)

I visited this confectionery for some quick eats to kill my hunger pangs.I placed my orders of chicken kabab puff and coconut mousse. While I was clicking photos for zomato I was restricted as they don't allow photography of their products.Anyway..apart from this minor disappointment..food was really very good inspite of being so pocket friendly. The kabab puff was spicy with sheekh kababs as filling. It was very big and already my stomach was full after I finished it.But the desserts looked so tempting that my heart couldn't resist it.Thats why I ordered the coconut mousse which was smaller compared to rest. The presentation was amazing. The mousse was served in a half coconut shell topped with a big sliver of coconut. The mousse was delight to eat..so smooth with a perfect sweetness which didn't overpower the subtle flavour of coconut. There were chunks of coconut in the mousse too. Will definitely come back for more innovative confectionery products.<br/>They told me that they'll talk to their owner about allowing reviewers to click photos. If that happens more photos will come up.

The mousses are a speciality. Love the variety that they offer. Few of the pastries are a let down considering though. Looking forward to expansion and seating arrangment.

Food - Good<br/>Experience - Good<br/><br/>I was surprised at the quality of the food. The price is reasonable and the staff is well behaved. The food is pretty good though some items like certain pastries are a but too creamy. Their Ice Creams are especially amazing at just 25 a scoop. Only downside is that there are no seating arrangements. <br/><br/>Overall a good outlet.

Ordered a customised chocolate cake for my uncle's birthday..they did it perfectly and it was looking great..but the only complaint is they did not stick properly the miniature of the bottle and the cigarette .....when i brought it home i saw that they have fallen off the cake...otherwise it was pretty yummy...i also had their donots and few other items....they were good as well...pocket pinch is also not high.

Everything about this place is delightful. I only wish the stores were a bit bigger so as to have some kind of seating arrangement. Some cream based desserts are good and they also have interesting ice cream flavours. The cakes however are pretty hard and dry.

It really knows how to attract customers. Tried their Choco cone and simply fell in love. The perfectly stored brownie, rich creams inside and wrapped with pure dark chocolate outside - outstanding. Also bought the brown bread which contains good amount of wheat. And last but not the least, you don't have to spend much.

Swissyum concept foods is not one among the regular confectioners that you will come across in the city. The pastries made here are unique, innovative and highly appreciable. How often do we tend to utilise the skins of mango, orange, coconut, etc instead of dumping them? Well, being influenced by this thought Swissyum has come up with a wide range of pastries where mousse prepared from the pulp of fruits is stuffed inside its skin, making it delightful for the eye as well as the taste buds.

If the very concept or perception of dessert to you, were limited to the likes of sweets, candies, chocolates and ice creams, make a paradigm-shift and welcome these new kids in the town! Completely revolutionizing and overhauling, the very essence of what could be perceived as a dessert, Concept Foods, an unit of Swissyum, has been offering to its patrons, a wide array of ‘Fusion Dessert Foods’. Innovation and radical thinking has always been of key importance in any sort of business. With the changing world and constantly shifting time, one needs to keep pace with this trend of modernization. People need to evolve and so do their concepts, belief and ideas. <br/><br/>Desserts, in particular, have long been associated with the very idea of celebration. Be it someone’s birthday, or a baby-shower party, or be it an auspicious occasion of a wedding, or a farewell party, any sort of celebration is incomplete without the inclusion of desserts within the menu. Be it some traditional Sandesh, or some Chocolates; or even cutting a gorgeous cake in front of everyone to celebrate your blessed and precious moment, you cannot rule out the Samaritan role played by desserts, to mark the joyous quotient to any occasion. However, with times, the very idea of bringing the same old types of desserts has become old and monotonous. People have been seeking for changes and exploring options for better alternatives, something which is new, modern and stylish, and ushers in a new change over the old era.<br/><br/>This is where, the very name of ‘Concept Foods’ come into play. A brand, which has been in the market for over a decade now, has complete overhauled their business, and looking to make its mark in the minds of the people, by working on these new badass products! Panchphoron, a prominent group comprising of bloggers, were cordially invited by Swissyum and Pinnacle Communiq, to taste and sample some of the offerings of these products. Essentially, falling under the tag of ‘Fusion Desserts’, each of these items were a specialty in themselves and made us very hard on our part, to truly declare any one of them as our favorite.<br/><br/>1) Gandhoraaj Cheese Pastry: A lipsmacking triple layered pastry, where frosted cream has been stuffed within two layers of the cake and the top layer contains a generous spread of Gondhoraaj flavored jelly or Gondhoraaj flavored crush. The frosting cream as such, appeared to be a generous mixture of lemon zest and white cream. While the lemon zest gives it a bit of punch, it really doesn’t overpower the basic sweetness of the frosted cream. The jelly on the top had a silky, yet smooth texture, oozing out of aroma of Gondhoraaj Lebu. The décor was absolutely minimal, with a dollop of white cream on the top, and a thin designed layer of Gondhoraaj Lebu to go as garnishing. The very first bite of this wonderful fusion dessert will transport into an undeclared heavenly world, with your tastebuds craving for more. The sweetness is just perfect, and the very presence of Gondhoraaj Lebu is predominant. Why stick to the same old sweets? Try this one, for a change! You won’t be disappointed!<br/><br/>2) Mango Mousse: Regarded, as the king of fruits, and especially holding a special place in the heart of each and every Bengali people, Concept Foods has come up with this innovative concept of Mango Mousse. The inner portion of the mango, is scooped out with sophisticated technique, keeping the outer layer intact. The hollowed and vacant portion is then filled up carefully with a generous mixture of whipped cream, crushed mango pulp, and small portions of ripe mango. The opening at the top, is then carefully decorated with cream and a sliced portion of mango, which has been cut artistically from the top, is used as garnishing. The flavor here is very simple, yet exotic. You get the juiciness of the mango combined with the sweetness of the cream. The mango pulp helps to pull in the flavor of the mango, while the small portions of mango cubes, adds up to the sheer ecstasy. <br/><br/>3) Mocha Patties: One of my least preferred vegetable, yet this product was one of my best liked item for this evening. Personally speaking, I shun when it comes to vegetables like Mocha, Echor and Lau (Bengali phrases please, being a ‘Bhento Bangali). However, this very product changed the very concept of what ‘fusion’ can really be! The outer layer was crispy, while the filling had a generous mixture of crushed Mocha, which was cooked well with selective spices. Honestly, without someone telling you what you were having, or unless you were being extra cautious or guilty-conscious, it could be quite hard to figure out, if this was a chicken patty or a vegetarian offering! The Mocha was soft, and the spice content was just right. With so many pure vegetarian foodies complaining, that they hardly find anything to suit their palette, this product could very well be a game changer and an object of jealousy to the hardcore meat-eaters!<br/><br/>4) Tender Coconut 'Daab' Mousse: Perhaps, the best product, and the most-liked offering for the evening. Much alike the Mango Mousse, the top layer has been carved out very carefully. Post this, the inner content; which would be the water has been drained out. This very coconut water, which consists of the very aroma and flavor of tender coconut imbibed within it, is used to flavor the whipped cream. Small bits and pieces of the tender coconut is then dropped in random to enhance the flavor and give in a further kick. This product, just like the rest, is all pure and natural, and does not contain any artificial add-ons. The top layer is then sealed with whipped cream with a decorative twist, and the top portion of coconut, which was cut down before, is further chunked into small pieces, and is stuck upon the whipped cream for decorative purposes. The taste for this one is completely bliss. The very feeling of tender coconut, mixed with the pulp, instantly transports you into a different world, and there is no way, you would exclaim a sigh of happiness, after taking a spoon or two of this very popular Fusion Dessert. If you had an inclination towards coconut ice cream, coconut flavored sweets, or any other dessert, drawing its very root from coconut, try this product for a change. Its light and heavenly, and is bound to win over your heart and senses. <br/><br/>5) Coconut (Narkel) Mousse: Not much different from the previous Tender Coconut 'Daab' Mousse, except for the fact that the bits and pieces of coconut for this product, is sourced from ripe coconuts instead of tender coconuts as we saw for the previous offering. The difference in taste and flavor is quite obvious for this one. The younger brother wins by miles. However, this one does not really fall too short behind. The essence of coconut is still there, where the whipped cream is mixed up with portions from a tender coconut, or as well terms it as ‘Narkel’ in Bengali. A soft layer of tender coconut (Usually referred to as ‘Malai’ in Bengali), is placed on the top for garnishing. Not much of a difference technically, but if one would ask me to opine about this, my vote goes straight to the one made out of ‘Tender Coconut’. <br/><br/>6) Chocolate Tart: A generous filling of chocolate flavored whipped cream, is placed within an edible and decorative bowl of dark chocolate. The outer layer is shaped decoratively, with the inner chocolate cream being garnished with nuts, caramelized sugar and a drizzle of dark chocolate sauce. Pleasant to the eyes, and a sheer treat to the tastebuds, do not bother about getting your hands dirty. The chocolate cream has the right amount of sweetness to it, while the outer layer of dark chocolate gives you that extra kick. <br/><br/>7) Mango Tart: Another variant of ‘Tart’, this one had a generous filling of mango pulp, mango crush and mango crush; all blended together to form a smooth and silky mixture. The mixture was then poured into an edible small bowl made up of white chocolate. Tiny cubes of mango pulp was used for garnishing purposes, while whipped cream and a small portion of white chocolate were also used for decorative looks. A decent alternative for Mango Mousse, that is if you cannot handle the big boy. I would definitely prefer this atleast over an expensive bottle of ‘Maaza’!<br/><br/>8) Chocolate Cone: Dark chocolate cone was used here, which was filled up with chocolate flavored whipped cream. The top layer, that is the outer visible layer, was garnished with crumbled dark chocolate, which appeared to have been carved out with the help of some designed utensil. An upgrade from the ever popular Cornetto, barring the fact that this one has pure cream, and no ice cream to go along with this. The outer layer was hard and gave the firmness to the product, while the chocolate whipped cream instantly dissolved in the palette. A sheer treat for the Chocolate lovers, do not miss this if you are around!<br/><br/>9) Mango Cone: An innovative variant of the popular Cornetto, I would place this on top, if I had to choose between this one and Mango Cone. A cone, made out of white chocolate was used here, which had a generous amount of filling of Mango Pulp, Mango Crush, Mango flavored whipped cream and Mango Jelly. This generous mixture was also topped with some crushed Mango cubes, to give in the illusion of consuming a real mango. A deadly, yet effective combination, try this pairing of white chocolate and mango. Would be hard for you to decide, whether you liked the white chocolate more, or if the mango was a clear winner!<br/><br/>10) Orange Mousse: Last, but not the least, then came Orange Mousse. Like its sibling, the Mango Mousse, The top layer, is once again cut gently, and the inside content is then scooped out carefully. It might be a question though, of availing this particular dessert in the off-seasons. Well, these guys have a solution for you. The better quality oranges are stored carefully at optimum conditions, while the outer layer, are sourced from far-off places at India to give in the look. Don’t try to consume the outer layer though, as it might be bitter and won’t taste well. However, when it comes to the outer layer pairing up with the filling which is poured inside, it does a brilliant job of exhibiting the aroma and flavor of a orange. The filling as such consists of the same whipped cream, with orange zest to give in the flavor and aroma of the oranges. Not too tangy though, this one won’t bother you much, but is just fine enough to tickle your tastebuds at the end of a hearty meal.<br/><br/>At the end of this wonderful tasting session, all of us were presented with a beautiful and wonderful looking hamper, which comprised of Chirebhaja, Mobilemuri, Aloobhujia in ginger flavour, Soloanna Channachur, Royal Rusk Biscuit, Mung Daal, Dhania Badam (Most of the names are in Bengali). Packed beautifully with a plastic sealing on the top, these attractive packages, were put together into an elegantly carved out holding spherical bowl, most probably made out of bamboo sticks. These gift hampers (check the pictures please), are priced economically at Rs. 150/- each, and serves as a decent alternative to the gift items, or better referred to as ‘Tottwo’, when it comes to Bengali wedding. Readily available, and less of a fuss, this one aims at making lives much simpler and easier. So, for the next time, when you are looking to celebrate a moment which holds a paramount importance in your life, do not forget to order these fusion desserts from Concept foods, to usher in a new era of change. These products are priced very economically, and usually range between. Rs. 50-80. Drop in soon, into any one of their stores, and be a part of the change!<br/><br/>#swissyum #conceptfoods #pinnaclecommuniq #fusion #fusiondesserts #desserts #change #panchphoron #gifthamper

Ayantika Bhaskar
A neat bakery by Swissyum selling savouries, bakes and cakes. Swissyum's products have always been hot favourites with me alongside Biskfarm, and I can still recall the mesmerising taste of their coconut and jam-filled cookies. On a few occasions when I happened to drop by this shop, have bought some lovely baked goodies, but unfortunately can't remember their names. In all, if one likes bakery items one would enjoy Swissyum's too.
Vaibhav Jain (The Suavy Glutton)
Had ordered a chocolate cake from here. Actually it was a surprise cake ordered by my friends on my birthday.<br/><br/>The cake had been nicely baked and the bread was soft. The dark chocolate frosting was quite good. The condensed sugary ornaments were also nice.<br/><br/>The cakes are generally kept ready made. The prices are pretty nominal.

Swissyum Concept Foods is one of those places where you would get some lovely dessert in very reasonable price and that's the reason which takes me to this place over and over again. One of the problems of this outlet is their is no sitting arrangements and that's the reason people prefer to take away. I love their mango pastry (forgetting the name). The chocolate tart and the doughnuts are also tasty. I have tried few of their snacks too which were good.
Luna Chatterjee (Madly_Food_Lover)
A small bakery that sales cakes, snacks. Their cakes are fresh and you can even see the baker baking it . A very neat bakery but sadly their in no sitting arrangement. I have, in several occasions ordered cakes from them and they were always baked to the perfection. During mango season they even make spl mango cake which is delicious. Another mouth watering offering is Nolen gur cake. Do visit this place.
Anamitraa/The Gut Filling
This place is a very nice bakery with good quality baking items. I come here very often and love their breads especially. The garlic bread and the cheese bread are really good. I even love the chicken spring roll, it's my absolute favourite. Their lassis are originally flavoured and are totally yumm. During mango season, a mango stuffed creamy ice cream is made which is out of the world. A very good bakery with really unique items. Happy Dining! :)

Seemanta Bhowmick
The Oreo Choco Essence Cake filled with vanilla & choco chips though may seem like an ordinary cake at first sight but it totally took me by surprise with its sheer brilliant taste. The cake has such wonderful texture and impeccable taste that I crave to have more. Undoubtedly, this cake is the best cake I have tasted in my life so far.

This is a good place to hangout with friends over a hot cuppa...add to that the tasty munchies....overall,a good place to relax when pocket's running low...

Really a very nice place for pastries.while they are not in the same league as cookie jar or cakes, they are better than the mio amore(monginis),kathleen or sugar and spice.their chocolate cone, coconut cream payesh(served in a ciconut shell),blueberry mousse are really really yummy and quite pocket friendly too.the pastries are mostly between rs.25-35.<br/><br/>the savouries, however, though some innovative items are on offer are not their strong point.while i liked their egg roll(egg sandwich folded like a roll and crumb fried),the burger was quite ordinary and not too appetising.
Srishti Dutta Chowdhury
The club sandwich for 30 bucks is such a steal! The chicken burger isn't so bad either, though the patty could do with less spices. Pretty good desserts and cakes too. Good and easy on the pocket, so yayyy! :')
Promita
Considering the price (INR 40), the chicken burger is really awesome. Do try, I would highly recommend it. I planned to have that special chocolate cone too, but had to drop the idea because I was already full after the burger and that cone was huge. Had one normal chocolate pastry instead. <br/>They didn't have nolen gurer ice-cream at that time, will surely go back to try that and of course the cone.

This is one of my favourite bakery outlet. I cherish it very much. It is very much pocket friendly and the food here is common as well as innovative and taste grand. There is no sitting arrangement and no parking facility, but the food beats all its loophalls.<br/>I love its coconut payesh, chocolate mousse and all its chanachurs. Coconut payesh is served in an empty coconut shell which is in itself and innovation and tastes great. Chocolate mousse may not be superior to the ones have eaten in other bakeries, but the presentation waters the mouth. I love their chanachurs, especially their tak jhal mishti variety. I have often purchased countless amounts of munchies from here. My father loved this outlet, and so do I.

This bakery is unique. If not for anything, the massive range of products, the only comparison I can think of is Haldirams but in a much larger space.<br/><br/>My quest for some munchies, some pastries got me here and I was not dissappointed.I bought a whole range of products from brown breads,to chocolate cone pastries,to samosa boxes, peanuts and a host of other namkeens. On tasting, the quality was good if not exceptional.Considering the location, this is a unique bakery.<br/><br/>What got my goat was some extremely sloppy service.Obviously manned by the owners themselves,I felt neglected and almost ignored.Maybe my order was too small to evince some interest.Either way left a bad taste in the mouth.

Located quite close to my place, at Lord's Crossing, this is a small confectionery outlet, but has a host of yummy options on the menu. There is no place to sit inside, as this is mainly a take-away joint. Tasted their much-in-demand, Coconut payesh (coconut in cream), and was really impressed by the way they serve it in little halves of coconut shells (There was only 1 left in the shop, when I visited it). They have a host of other snacks and sweets such as 'Bulbul bhaja' (Chanachur), Aloo Bhaja, flavoured Rusk, swiss rolls in many flavours, such as chocolate, pine-apple, strawberry and mango, and a lot of chocolaty pastries that adorned the shelves (Which I plan to try, during my subsequent visits). Over-all, a decently priced outlet, with some innovative items.
Ishita Mukherjee
Never tried much of their confectioneries but love their chocolate cake... Since it's creamy and chocolatey... And also very soft...I mainly drop by for their pastries

This is a gem of a place, located at the heart of Lord's Bakery Signal. You can't miss it for the location. A small pastry shop but boy o boy some of the best I have had in a long time. It is very pocket friendly compared to the options available to have such delicacies. I had a Chocolate cone, which was a cone of chocolate and mousse, chocolate and brownies on the inside. Then also a chocolate cornetto, which is a sundae that has a crunchy nutty feel to it and suggest all to try it. Also had a blueberry mousse which was exquisite. They also have doughnuts swissrolls and other cakes which I will try next time. Overall an excellent shop with a pocket friendly price. I give it 4/5.
Suprojit Das
This is surely one place where you get what a Bong likes. Starting from the Bengali chanachur to flavored biscuits, from fruit ice creams to Nolen gurer ice cream. As a confectioner, the cakes are mind blowing with the very low price tag. The staffs are extremely friendly.
Maya Majumdar
It seems my entire family loves the goodies this place offers. If you go too late in the evening, all you will get is empty shelves staring at Ya. Pasties looked great but I was head over heals about the the patties and every savory item I tried. It is very packed and there is no place to sit. And people don't stop coming....get something to go if you are off to a picnic or visiting a friend... They will certainly appreciate your hand picked choices. They were so good that none got an opportunity to be clicked..,,
