Awesome place tucked in the Eco Park overlooking the tea bushes. You can also buy the freshly hand rolled tea plucked from the tea bushes. The momos are fresh and the best I have had. Tried the roasted Darjeeling tea, was full bodied and aromatic. The jasmine tea was refreshing too. Grilled cheese sandwich with wafers added to the delicious experience. Must visit for all tea and momo lovers.

Well I went for the run in the morning .. and post the run they had organised the packaged breakfast ..It was very nice and filling .. I personally would love to try their tea somtime. Very well located in the heart of Eco park .

Sundays are generally associated with some laid-back moments spent either at home, lazing in the bed or spending time with your family and friends. So the calling for a good “adda” was always there – only the place and time was needed to be finalized.
Now with two super energetic mini-Monkeys with us, I always prefer a place which will have some outdoor seating and some open space to let these Monkeys run free! I have been longing for some good old Sunday adda with my Honuman buddies in town, more so because of my failing health preventing me from exercising my taste-buds over some good food and drinks.
I have been hearing about this tea place inside Eco Park which has grown its own tea garden right in the heart of the city. Yes – the Yule Tea Lounge!
So the Foodie Monkey summary for you :

The Foodie Monkey Experience:
The plan was to have breakfast over some adda and then by 12 noon, wrap-up. But since when the Monkey meets have been so well-planned?! 😀 So we have all arrived at Yule Tea Lounge around 10.30 am, after struggling to find a good parking place.
Car Parking Tip: While on the Rajarhat expressway, cross Mishti Hub, take the first left cut-out into the service lane. Turn left and just before the Mishti Hub building, you will find a small fenced parking spot marked as HIDCO – put your car there itself. That’s the Yule people suggested to keep the car.
The kids were almost ready to play some football without even going up to the main lounge. The place had good and spacious seating areas – both outside the building, in the patio as well as inside the cozy comfort of ACs.
Since it was already late and the Sun was blazing down, we chose to sit inside with the running ACs providing much needs comfort. Kids though had other plans – running around, wrecking havoc before playing some football.
Grilled Chicken Sandwich – this one was well made with good amount of shredded chicken mingled with mayo
Earl Grey tea – Hmm. Ok. Just another one.
Chicken Pasta – The best of the lot – pasta with white sauce, full of herbs and basil made this one every bit flavorful
Iced Tea (regular and Mango base) – though the glass with the drink looked aluuring, I cannot say the same about the taste – passable!
Steamed Chicken Momo – With thin coating and good amount of minced meat, this one was tasty! Sorry – we were hungry – so those momos just flew into our stomach!
Kudos to Andrew Yule tea with Government of West Bengal and HIDCO to come together to let Kolkatans enjoy some relaxed time over some good food and tea!
The whole place is also decorated with neon lights which I am sure, makes it look marvelous at night!

Visited Today. Tasted Rajgarh masla tea. Biscuits were complementary. The tea tastes incredible. Enjoyed the soothing ambience and the place.
A slice of hill in the middle of Kolkata. The interior is so good. A conversation over tea place! I had chamomile tea and my friend had mango iced tea (in taste these were awesome) and chicken sandwich (it was not good in taste). Though I don't know about other dishes. Behaviour of the staffs were average. The view, collection of tea and the interior was the best part of Yule.

Yule Tea Lounge is located inside Eco Park, close to the Seven Wonders Park at Gate No. 4, managed by the government-owned Andrew Yule group.
The place is designed like a picturesque European chalet with warm wooden interiors. However often the cleanliness of the tables are overlooked.
There's also arrangement for outdoor seating on the verandah with self-help service.
Lovely handcrafted tea sets and teas are displayed on glass shelves inside.
They mostly stock up on exotic Assam and Darjeeling teas.
We tried the Rajgarh Masala Chai and Herbal Blue Tea.
The Rajgarh Masala Chai was a combination of five spices of strong flavour blended with CTC tea of Rajgarh tea garden, best for afternoon tea.
It tasted lush, creamy and authentic accompanied with complimentary Marie biscuits (dipped in the tea).
The blue tea is a newly-launched beverage that still hasn't yet been introduced in their menu leaflet. One needs to order it at the counter.
The tisane or herbal tea is made of butterfly-pea flowers; tastewise it's unique and very refreshing. Adding some lemon juice to the tea changes its colour to dark violet, along with a slight change in taste and flavour.
The tea lounge is a more or less cozy place to indulge in a cup of tea along with some momos or sausages. One can just hop in after a tired tour of the Eco Park for some fresh tea and snacks. :)
If you are a tea lover ,this is a must go place. Decoration, ambience are simply amazing. Outdoor sitting is beautiful. Sunset is the best time to visit this place. They provide a lot varieties of tea. They mostly serve Darjeeling and Assam tea. One thing I must mention about cold tea that freshly prepared tea is used to make cold tea( Most places I know serve cold tea made from syrup or sachet). White sauce pasta is most probably one of the best white sauce I ever ate.
Little Darjeeling in Kolkata. They tried hard to create the ambience of the hill station. The staffs are highly professional.The standard of the food is really good and also they have huge variety.

Never try side dishes or salami sandwich just waste of money were the pieces of breads are very small according to price listed and also they take extra 30rs charge for grilling.

I would rate this place 4 just because of its interior, location and exterior, food is average, nothing exceptional, for food my rating would be 3. This the my kind of place, being in Kolkata I felt like as if I am at some tropical place. They have outside sitting arrangement as well which gets you better view of greenery.
I tried 1.Tuna grilled sandwich, which comes with potato chips. Was quite good, and the flavour of tuna was not dominated with other ingredients. Cost for one portion Rs. 150.
Next dish was Thukpa(chicken), cost Rs.180. Well it is not easy to satisfy my taste buds when it comes to Tibetan cuisine since I have grown up eating them. But was quite good when added the chilli sauce. The broth did not have the authentic Thukpa factor, but its ok when you have the craving to eat thukpa at that moment, cant expect much.
Conclusion is, its a very pretty and silence place. Must visit.👍

EnjoyingEnjoying first flush Darjeeling tea amidst a tea garden means taking a long break.... getting tickets and reservations ... hotel booking and many more which one can’t even think of in a busy schedule of the year.But Kolkata has got its slice of Darjeeling in Eco park. located between gate no. 3 and 4 this is a hidden gem for the city dwellers.The ambience itself is so refreshing. It’s a colonial wooden cottage.In a cloudy drizzling day, with the adjoining tea garden soon it transcends you to a tea estate of Kurseong.Though, seating arrangement is very limited inside( only 4 or 5 tables), some more are there in the outside ( but obviously you will miss the AC and the climate here is not as benevolent as in the hills). Inside,The wooden floor and the colonial deco is perfect to set the mood. One can spend hours here sipping his favourite cup of tea and soaking the lush green nature outside in a lazy afternoon .There are plenty of options for both green and black tea. Different flavours have been skilfully infused with the natural aroma of the tea. There are options for buying your favourite blend as well.Really we are amazed by the perfect balance of blending. So far we have tried the mint, the orange and mint, the passion fruit and the Chamomile one . Personally my favourite is the orange and mint one. But all are very refreshing.The orange- mint and the passion fruit tea have subtle fruity aromas infused with the captivating flavour of finest Darjeeling tea.. The mint and the Chamomile have more herby flavour . There are options for mocktails and iced teas also. Momos, different types of sandwiches and fish fingers are also in the menu along with noodle and pasta. The chicken momos, fish fingers and Hakka chicken noodles were fine but we found the pasta horrible!!!
As a tea parlour, Yule tea lounge is above all expectations both in ambience as well as in variety, quality and presentation of tea. It’s pleasure to spend some leisure time here surrounded by nature amidst the city.
A small suggestion: The place remains open for breakfast only on Sunday. For other days it opens pretty late at 2:30 pm(which is obviously quite an odd hour to enjoy tea)As a tea lounge it’s a one of its own and something unique in the city. Would’ve been better if we could enjoy the morning tea as well in rest of the days here.

This was my first visit to this place and I was absolutely awestruck. Very nicely decorated and I literally cudnt stop myself gazing at the fairy lights all through the time. Coming to the food, the tea was an absolute delight which was again very well complimented with the starters that we had! look forward to visiting more and try out all their tea delicacies.

#PorkPlatter - this one is an epic breakfast dish - the sausages were great & so were the ham & salami as well.. The bacon was a delight to gorge upon bcz of it's perfect crispyness - a melt in the mouth experience.. Enough to feed two souls and could be a fab combo with the exclusive Yule teas found here for retail & inhouse usage - loads of first flush options from Darjeeling to CTC - bliss for any tealover..
#MahisashurBarbeque: Just when we thought that we cannot get over the delicious pork platter anytime soon probably - guess what, we were hit by yet another food blizzard.. This time it was an authentic barbequed meat platter (where one gets to focus & taste the actual meat rather than the sauce)very aptly named due to it's gigantic size.. One jumbo all meat platter contained #Pomfret, #Scallops, #Basa, #Bacon, #Salmon, #Chicken & #Beef.. Yet another dreamy dish for any carnivore - this one is only available during the weekends & holidays as of now.. One platter is more than enough to feed two souls..

My time here was perfect and i can come here again and again whenever i feel a bit low maybe or when i need a fresh burst of calmness within. This place is a blessing in disguise as it is very difficult to get a place which has greenery around as well as,which has a spacious surrounding giving an entire view without any disruption. This place has it’s own Tea Garden which produces approx 300 kgs of Tea annually. And Apart from that the place has many varieties of Tea from Darjeeling,Assam and other popular city Tea Gardens which can be sampled before you want to buy it. The Tea lounge here has it’s own attraction,thanks to its wooden house structure standing tall and gorgeous in between greenery. The place has ample seating indoor and outdoor as well. The indoor seating is the right spot to cool yourself when it gets too hot outside. And the outdoor seating in the area and lawn is a pleasant place during the evening hours. No matter where you sit you get the best possible experience like no other place.
Yule Tea Lounge can actually be said as a pretty corner in Eco Park, Kolkata. Wooden house set-up and the greenery around gives you a feel of a hill station stationed in Kolkata. What I loved about this place was the ambience. A wide variety of teas are available. You can even select and taste your tea variety before ordering it. Iced teas in different flavours are available too. Momos here tasted great. So was the bread sandwich and fish fingers. This place is an absolute recommendation when you are visiting Eco Park. Yule tea lounge is a great addition to the tea scene in Kolkata. It is an extremely stunning place inside Eco Park and looks totally like a place from a hilly tourist location. Sadly, we were in a hurry and could not have their tea. But couldn't resist ourselves from checking the interiors and the service. Every inch of this place has been carefully done. The walls and floors in wooden finish, lighting, outdoor seating, books, framed tea quotes, vibrant colors, lots of sunshine and glass windows, all lend a class to the tea lounge.
Since we didn't have time to enjoy their teas, we hurriedly had a fresh lime soda and a green apple flavored lime soda to quench our thirst. Both were good. Service is slow but servers are polite. You could also read a book while sipping on the tea. They also have a couple of tables in the garden.
If you love collecting teas and teawares, pick their packaged teas or gift yourself a brand new tea set from their collection. Overall, we totally loved the place and won't mind visiting again to have some of their teas!

So I had been here a couple of times to grab some quick snacks mid shooting. They have an amazing wooden interior which surely reminds me of the hills. Found this hidden gem inside Eco Park. If you're looking for a calm and peaceful ambience then this the place you must visit. The Treehouse-like wooden cafe has a lovely grandeur to offer. Decorated with tiny lights, this place is offering numerous varity of teas.
They have outdoor sitting as well. We ordered mango iced tea and fresh lime soda as we were already full. The ice tea had mango extract which was a bit sweet. The fresh lime soda was just like any other fresh lime soda.
Will definitely visit again. 😄

if you want to visit the place to taste some good tea and spend some quality time with your loved ones then the place is nice. They really have a very good collection of tea. I didn't like the food. though I have said Average but it should be below average considering the price . Still I will recommend the place specially on a rainy/ winter evening . You can visit the place to get a feel of small piece of Darjeeling.
Yule Tea Lounge is indeed a sweet little corner inside Eco Park. After a long walk we were searching for a cafe and we bumped into this place. The food tastes good but the service time was long. The ambiance is the best part of it. it has indoor as well as outdoor sitting but the indoor area is smaller. Next time i am definitely trying their Tea.
This is nice place in a picturesque setting. Outdoor seating is ideal for winters and evenings of autumn and spring. Otherwise the air conditioned indoor seating is preferable. Fresh lime soda, rajgarh masala tea, French fries and chicken sandwich are good. Quantity and quality of food is good.
My father introduced me to the yule tea lounge. It has a very bohemian and rustic feel to it. It also has a small "darljeeling tea garden".
The place is definitely made for tea lovers unlike me. But I did order a kahwa for myself. We also ordered pasta, momos and corn cheese sandwich.
MINUS:
•The air conditioned seating area is small and little uncomfortable.
•The food still needs a little more brush up in terms of taste.
PLUS:
•A perfect place for friends and couples to hangout.
•The food tastes is pretty decent.
•The ambience is lovely.
The wood house set up gives an experience like tea estate/forest resort. The ambience was great. Great tasting tea which asked for a repeat. Fish finger and veg pakora were good accompaniments. We spent an hour of family time that was definitely worth. You won't get this experience in coffee day or food court. Come here for the tea and for the experience. Need anything else?
Located near gate no. 3 of Eco Park and there is a "Ghum" toy train station near this Yule tea lounge. It's January, chilling cold outside, perfect weather and I was craving for tea. The interiors are inspired from stylish cottage from British rule. Excellent seating arrangement and the staffs were very friendly. Ordered for Darjeeling tea, Fish fry & French fries. Tea and Fish item tasted amazing. Little bit costly, but worth it and yes they don't add any taxes. Hospitality were very good & will love to come again.
if you are willing to have a flavored special kind of tea and sitting in to the nature. then this this place is definitely for you. it is located inside the Eco park beside the tea garden. apart from tea, we had double chicken salami sandwich and veg pakoda.. both are delicious. we would love to try some pastry from there as they look delicious. it will be good if they offer more food items as the items are very limited.. over all its a very good and decent place.

This place looks incredibly beautiful..brings back my lost memories of the bungalows in the tea gardens of darjeeling of my childhood. Perfect seating place for people for a long time to relax and just enjoy the company of each other in the backdrop of a beautiful setting, it sometimes feel so wonderful as in it feels like the whole universe conspired for that perfect romantic moment to happen.
It is located just behind the mask garden n gate no. 3 of the eco park.
There is an inside air conditioned indoor place with a large led TV and the main reception counter. Since primarily they inherit the tea business so there are a lot of varieties of tea which you can taste and even if you like so much then you buy too.
Since it is primarily a tea lounge, the tea and their variety is not incredible but they taste fantastic. Some of them will just be my benchmark of the tea experience I have anywhere.
Since there is very limited choice, anyone can expect the quality to be nice. Perfect munching menu.
The few items I tasted all were nice and rightly cooked.
The waiting time can be long due to lack of staff but you won't mind that.
There is no tax. The price in the menu is the final price you pay. Hence very very reasonable. Though compared to other places the pocket pinch is high.
It's a must if you're in the area.
The lounge reminds us of a ever refreshing dose of caffeine. The place is filled with opulent aroma of export quality tea of several varied flavours & make. The setting of this place is the usp. You're transported to Darjeeling the moment you enter this place. Wooden interiors add to the beauty. The washroom needs improvement. So does the food.
You not only pay here for foods and drinks, you pay here for the ambience, you pay here for the comfort, you pay here for feeling that you are in a english tea bar in a foreign country. Beautiful english scores on background. Loads of varieties of tea all around. Foods are reasonably priced and prepared and served well with decent garnishing. Flavoured fresh lime soda was sooo refreshing that one was not enough. The fish fry was very much edible, served with salad, chips, french fries and kasundi. Both the outdoor and indoor sitting were equally enjoyable. Must visit for sophistication-lovers.

Amazing decor....5 star level...one of the best in Kolkata... Fantastic view overlooking tea gardens.... U feel like ur in one of the tea cafes of Darjeeling. Limited menu is the only disappointment. Unbelievably cheap. Very friendly service by sikkimese owner. Must visit for dinner or tea if in eco park. Better than cafe ekante in my opinion....

Oh what a warm cozy place!! Have been there recently and was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice cafe to relax.
To get here, one has to enter through Gate No.3 of Eco Park and then take a right. This stands opposite to the Ghum station where the Toy train stops as well. What a concept! A little corner of Darjeeling!
The variety of Darjeeling tea found is great and the way it is served is even better. I was there with a friend and we ordered for a cup of Darjeeling Jasmine(Green) tea and the regular Darjeeling tea, for the flavour and the aroma respectively.
And we loved them! The cafe served marie biscuits as complimentary with the tea.
For snacks, we had ordered for a cheese corn sandwich and a chicken sandwich which were ordinary. And then we ordered for their freshly baked Chocolate cake.
The cake was moist and nice, looked and tasted home-made to the core!
The prices were just ok I would say.
All in all,we had a great experience to say the least. And the people in the cafe from the waiters to the owners were so warm and friendly that made us even more comfortable.
So, if u love tea, u gotto visit this place and even if u don't love tea, visit it for the sheer experience!

Darjeeling in Kolkata... This is the first thing that will come in your mind. Ghum station with a carriage of TransHimalayan Railways complemented by a tea garden , these are all about the Yule Tea Lounge in Eco Park Rajarhat. It has the propensity to become "the destination" of the tea connoisseurs of the city. Varieties of blends to choose from which are kept in perfect order in a stylised cottage inspired by the British era architecture. And they do serve yummy momos which are soulful delight and the sandwiches are simply superb.
The entire package comes with a warm hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Law. Thank you very much for a nice evening which I spent there with my friends.
Gate number 3 of Ecopark is the nearest entry point .

A tea lounge..wow! A perfect place for a nice date..with something to munch on and enjoy your tea!
Except for the wobbly tables everything about this cute place is nice. The best part is the staff who are happy to guide you through the various forms of teas.
Great way to relax after an evening at the beautiful Eco park.

Just love the place . Yestarday (11th Jan 2019) I visited the place for just a tea break and some pics as the place is well decorated but after they served the masala tea and flavoured fresh lime I just fell in love with the taste , my friend who don't like tea had a full cup of tea because that really tastes well .
What I have ordered
Masala chai Rs50/-
Fresh lime Rs80/-
Crispy baby corn Rs 160/-
Everyone should visit the place the ambience is really good , the food quality is awesome ,behaviour and servicing is also very good with the view from the restaurant and totally a photogenic place .
Masala chai is a special recommendation . All tea lovers and not tea lovers should try this for once .
A nice tea cum snacks outlet inside the Eco Park...
They do keep many items for eating and tasting...but the tea that they provide is something unique...
They have some of the best collection of Tea...from simple Darjeeling leaf tea to the exotic Orange Pekoe you can get all under this roof...you can not only taste them but u can even buy lea leaves for your home...
There are few munchies also available...but try the finger fries out here...they are awesome...
The owner and the staff are all from North Bengal...they are very friendly in nature, hospitable and very courteous...
Ofcourse all these doesn't come that cheap...drinking tea at this location is a bit expensive affair...however the experience is something to be cherished...

A nice joint with aesthetic interiors, and variety of items served. The muffins are stated to be home made and looked highly professional as you will find in star restaurants. The counter staff/ manager were courteous and the service hand was prompt and methodical. I am not a connoisseur of Tea, but many varieties are offered there and one is sure to suit one's liking. Price of tea served are on the high side which is difficult to justify, but then many factors play in determining price structure in such professional set ups. Overall a likable place to quench thirst and hunger after a gruelling Eco Tour.
One can get quality tea here. My personal favourite is Darjeeling tea. Lovely ambience. On Sundays it opens as early as 7.30am and serves buffet breakfast. It is a children friendly place. One can drink tea and enjoy the view from there. Amazing place. A must visit
They have an amazing collection of tea and the food quality was surprisingly higher than expected
Great place, really peaceful environment, nice clean food, beautiful location with huge open space, you can rent a bicycle here, good garden setting, tea garden to show to your kids, Best chicken sandwiches and Momos in Kolkata.
Amazing variety of tea, i like green tea with mint , Tulsi and strawberry,
Cannot imagine such a beautiful green place in Kolkata to hang around.

Superb place. Savoury continental lunch can compete with the best in kolkata. Yule Darjeeling tea from the MIM garden is the best you'll get around.
What a place, it has a tea garden, outdoor seating, surrounded by activities for kids and adults. Must try Taashi Mimi's. Must visit for a different type of evening

Cosy little place to relax and refresh with some great tea and snacks. The staff is very helpful and happy to guide one through the different types of teas.
