Review Wow! Momo - Kolkata (Calcutta)

This is a small Wow Momo outlet or counter at Axis Mall. Located inside Spencer's outlet. It is run by a single executive / agent. But you can order all Wow Momo items like Momo, Burger, Thupkaa etc. The agent is very well mannered and prompt. Make your order here. Then go back 10 meters to the Billing Counter of Food Court (this is confusing). Again return and have your food. There is no place to sit. But Spencers does provide neat and clean tables to stand and eat.

Beautiful picturesque place. Standard food but nice environment.

Didn't taste Momo but Thukpa was outstanding. This was the Best thukpa I have ever had. Next time won't think about any other resturant while ordering Thukpa.

Had ordered momo from this place many times...last time we ordered the chicken tandoor momo and baked momo augratin ...i loved the chicken tandoor momo which had tandoor chicken in the stuffing but the momo augratin was too cheesy on outside nd too spicy inside...doesn't taste as yummy as it looks

Wow Momo's momo are my all time favourite! Love to order from them whenever I get a momo craving! Their momos are soft and delicious! The filling has a good amount of minced chicken and veggies. Absolutely love the flavours!

On Friday i did a takeaway from Wow! Momo counter in Spencers Axis mall. I ordered chicken cheese steamed momos for takeaway. I specifically told them the food should fresh and well cooked. The person in counter nodded his head as “yes”.<br/>When i ate the momos, they smelled as rotten, stinky. The momos were stale and had a moldy and musty smell. The covering layer of “maida” was hard and dry. I ate one and it didnt taste good, so i couldnt eat them and threw.<br/>After so many incidents of stale, rotten meat being served in restaurant, how can a renowned food joint “WOW! MOMO” sell stale and rotten momos. This is a shame for such a food joint. Its also a concerning matter for kids who like these fast food momos. I had a very BAD experience after having these steamed momos from WOW! MOMO joint in spencers Axis mall.<br/>There is no option for giving the rating in “negative” otherwise i would have given that!!!!!!

The outlet of wow momo is located inside the Spencer's of axis mall. I must say the branch of wow momo could not maintain its standards. The taste isn't up to the standard of wow momo. I ordered a chicken steam along with chicken fried momo and got pretty disappointed with the taste!

Ordered one steamed and one fried chicken momo. Fried momos were over fried. Recieved 2 broken steamed momo. Wow momo feeling was missing needs betterment.

The stall is located at Spencer's food court area at Axismall. Nice place to have Tibetan food after shopping at Spencer's.<br/>Ordered Chicken Thupka and Chocolate Momo. The thupka was good, tasty and huge in quantity respect to price but Chocolate Momo was not very well. The taste of chocolate with momo was not good. One can can skip the chocolate momo.

Its a nice outlet in Axis Mall with a variety of momo to try from. We had pan fried chicken momo and it was really awesome. Price is a bit high than other momo outlets but one wouldn't regret it.

One of the best momos in town! Different varieties and the price is worth it. Do try the “pan fried chicken tandoori schezwan momos “. They could upgrade the sauce though. They put the same sauce in every different momos. <br/>

Momos are no doubt amazing out here..especially the cheese chicken momo. They not only serve hot and fresh but they are helpful too. This is located in axis mall ,inside spencer.

Ordered chicken cheese momo and chicken fried momo with schezwan sauce. Taste is good. Quality of the momos were good considering the economic rates. Quality could have been better. The only thing of bother is no seating arrangements!!

From the food quality perspective, all the chains of Wow momo are simply superb, at least for me! I have already tried several Wow momo stalls, but this one was a bit different. I really don't know why they only keep the specified Schezwan variants only, which are typically spicy, and no otger variants. I have already tried some 3-4 times from this particular outlet, and my experience is the same, though the full menu is on display every time. Need some change in the strategy of this particular outlet.

I just love Wow Momo! <br/>I keep saying this and I will keep saying it. I tasted a vegetable variant and it took me by surprise. I just loved it.

Fried momos taste wonderful, the preperation is good and the service is cook, cottage cheese momos are superb. Do try pan fried momos as well. Wont be disappointed.

What could be better than momos? Baked momos! 😃 Tried their baked momo augratin and I must say it was a little pack of happiness. The baked momo pieces stuffed with tasty chicken, the spaghetti on top of it covered by loads of cheese, makes my mouth water as I'm writing and thinking about it. It was simply too good.

Wow momo are opening outlets like proliferate and at the same time it is deteriorating the quality .Menu with high price but not providing its value in terms of momo quality and quantity both.

I got a by one get one coupon by booking movie ticket through bookmyshow. As attached in terms & conditions, it was clearly written that I would get the free item of SAME or lesser price of the ordered item. In Spencer's,Axis mall, Kolkata I ordered a chicken cheese fried momo which costs 120/- but they told that the free item i would get was chicken steam momo which costs 85/- & even I would not get that and I would get a veg steam momo because their excuse was that chicken was finished. But at the same time when someone else ordered chicken momo they accepted the order. Then what does that mean? The chicken was available only for ordered item? And when I told about the terms & conditions that I would an free item of that SAME or lesser price, the simply refused like a street food shop. Even they don't have the courtesy of working in a branded momo shop. Their attitude was like do whatever you want.

Was already in love with their momos...when they introduced this 'Veggie momo burger'....it's lyk getting ur two favorites together.....stuffed with momos and all kinds of sauces (red, white and green)just perfect😊😋a must try for everyone👍👍<br/><br/>U can also order 'Panner pan fried momos in schezwan sause', 'Mushroom momos' and 'Onion corn momos'☺😊

Wow! Momo should have more outlets for home delivery. Its my favourite foodjoint because it has got value for money and is cooked fresh! Always leaves me happy and full.

A small outlet.<br/><br/>Went to Axis Mall for some work and while returning thought to try out Momo as it was bit early for lunch time but was feeling a bit hungry also... <br/><br/>Chicken Schezwan Momo - Its spicy, good in taste but bit dry (pan fried having a bit gravy would have been better)<br/>Veggie Delight Momo - This is normal veg momo..nothing much to say about this one.<br/><br/>The guy was fast in serving us and courteous.

This is situated inside the spencer hyper KIOSK counter at ground floor of Axis mall. I often visit this place. They offered buy two get one free deals for pan fried momos. I liked the schezwan chicken momo. It was spicy but I liked it. Chocolate momos are also good.

No doubt when it comes to momo its always wow momo in terms of  quality and the rates. The fish momo tastes brilliant. In the recent days they have a new addons to their menu - tandoor momo which takes a bit of time but very innovative and tasty.

So after you are done buying stuffs from Spencer's in Axis mall, you can always have some momos from this outlet before you leave. It is a small counter and there is no seating area, which can be a problem for some. I would suggest you to parcel it and carry with yourself.

This is a small outlet at spencers axis mall. Im quite fond of their fried chicken momos and the fried prawn momos. <br/>The filling is great and tastes awesome with the green and red chutney they serve.<br/>The chocolate momo is just perfect if u love chocolate. Always love the delicacies of Wow! Momo no matter which outlet in the city it is. Be it steamed or fried, the momos offered here are of the finest quality. The service is generally impeccable with prompt execution of orders. Also provides a really nice way to bolster friendships over a plate of hot momos.

I personaly know the all the staffs here they are really good and serves wonderful testy momos. You can try pan fried mono which is really good. It's located on the food court of spencers hyper axis mall.

One of best momos served in Kolkata. The best thing is we have got the choose from many varieties. Pan fried chicken momo in garlic sauce is my favorite.

Last time we were there we could not find it in the food court & opted for another momo outlet, results of which were horrible. This time we finally found it tucked away at a corner inside the spencers alobg with flurys.<br/>Ordered my favourite chicken pan fried momo in schezwan sauce & moburg which were fine as usual. However the other favourite corn & cheese momo wasn't available so opted for paneer veg momo & it was not really my type. Actually after having it I found many reviewers ranting about it. I could understand their point. Next time onwards no paneer momo for sure.

The first ever momo experience in the city of joy, Kolkata. I ordered a schezuan paneer momo for parcel. I brought it home. It tasted so so. Then in the second time I ordered same paneer in steamed form. It was a total wastage of money. In the third time I ordered a mushroom steamed momo. At last it was good. I would suggest everybody not to try their paneer momo

This outlet of Wow Momo is inside the Spencers at Axis Mall Newtown. Being a big fan of momos , me and my wife regularly eat here. They offer variety of momos. Although their prices are bit on higher side but its worth considering the taste and size of momos. Their pan fried momos are also awesome. Service is quick and customer friendly.....I would recommend this to even to non Momo eaters ....you might change your mind..<br/>!!

I love momo! I mean it..given a chance I'll gobble up momo the whole day. I tried their pan fried momo..good, but not up to the mark..the stuffing is good but the outside seemed a little raw per say. Burgers (which they give free on 2 plates of momo) are not up to the mark, infact quite bad. But as the name suggests they serve some of the best momos in town. Give it a try guys!

I had been to this Wow Momo outlet at Axis Mall many times and went for pan fried corn momo. Their momo preparations are as always delicious and worth the money. In general, their food items are fresh and tastes great and I'd surely try sometime soon again.<br/><br/>There are two small counter both inside and outside the Axis Mall. The people are very polite and service is prompt. I'd suggest this for those looking for a quick bite on the move.

The pan fried momo remains a favourite. <br/>However it is very spicy and you need to buy water or coke to gulp it down.<br/>The chocolate momo is a big let down,<br/><br/>That aside,the mo more outlet just outside axis gives stiff competition to this one in terms of price,taste and hospitality. Momo, a tibetan food which came down to Kolkata many years ago and became an instant hits with all bongs! <br/><br/>I have been eating momo for quite a long time. It is fresh, spicey but very light in stomach and refreshing. <br/><br/>I was roaming around in City Centre 2 in New Town Rajarhat when I saw the Wow Momo outlet. <br/><br/>I ordered a plate of chicken steamed momo and chicken pan fried momo in schezwan sauce. Man! Both were so tasty! <br/><br/>I loved the momos fully!

Enjoyed having Wow! Momo at Spencer's, Axis Mall. The chicken momo with cheese is absolutely delicacy. The price is higher than roadside momo stall but the quality & taste will leave you saying... "Wow!"

It's always nice to write the first review of any eatery! I have been eating at this place for couple of years now but never noticed that the place has no reviews written for it in Zomato. <br/><br/>Today we had the evening snacks here at Wow Momo, where we had - one plate of steamed Chicken Momo combined with one chicken MoBurg, one Chocolate Momo and one soft drinks. The Chicken momo, Moburg and soft drinks came under the 'Combo meal - 1' bucket, where actually this Pepsi came free! In all my previous visits here, I had steamed chicken Momo which is very traditional and trademark dish of this place, and I really like the pudina and red chilli sauce which comes with this plate. But one turn-off for me, there is no chicken clear soup with this plate of steamed momo, so better not expect that. <br/><br/>Coming to the MoBurg, it is a general burger with pan-fried momo inside it poured with mayonnaise all over, no veggies were found inside the burger like tomato, lettuce, onion, etc. Overall I would say - the MoBurg is bit spicy, lacks veggies inside and tastes average. It is surely an out-of-the-box idea but I found it needs to be bit modified and improved. <br/><br/>And lastly, coming to the chocolate momo - The chocolate sauce and chocolate chips all around the momo are no doubt lip smacking, but the first bite into the momo was a big letdown, the outer crust of the momo was too hard to chew and the filling inside was also not that tasty either, again this dish also needs to be improved to some extent. <br/><br/>On few other occasions in past, I had Thukpa and Pan-fried momo here at this place. If you can't stand spicy food, never ever go for pan-fried momo. And for the Thukpa I would say it was good but I've had better Thukpa to be true. So I would say since the brand is now there for few years now, it should be taken seriously and food quality and taste should be the number one focus for Wow Momo. <br/><br/>Lastly, our bill amount was 160/- for this evening snacks, so the pocket pinch for this food was quite reasonable. Overall, I would say - you can go out and give it a try, and please write some reviews of this branch, I don't wanna be the lone reviewer! :-)<br/><br/>Cheers!
