This is at the 5th floor of Star Mall, Madhyamgram. Star Mall is around 500m from Madhyamgram Chowmatha(crossing). The interior is nice, like all other RDBD outlets, the Tractor is also present inside! You'll get to see some cheesy taglines at every wall. They serve really tasty food at a very reasonable pricing. Authentic Punjabi food is a must try here, though they've included some Chinese dishes lately. Alcohol is also served. We ordered Chicken Lehsuni Tikka & Chilli Paneer Chinjabi from starters, both were good. Tandoori Makkhan Roti, Chicken Keema Kulcha were tasty but the size of the Rotis were smaller. Kadhai Chicken & Paneer Bhurji Masala also turned out good. Chicken Fried Rice and Highway Chilli Chicken were the items from the Chinese segment but only a con is the quantity of the Fried Rice. Overall a nice budget friendly family restaurant, the taste of the food also gets a positive remark. But the quantity of some of the food items is strangely less.

I had a great, cosy experience, with pretty ambiance & 80's/90's song. The food was no dout awesome. The staff were too humble, that they make feel like home. Recommended there best main course the show's topper Champaran Meat which was too delicious and meat were juicy & succulent. Food quality is good.but have tasted in other Rang De Basanti outlets...so it could have been much better compared to other outlets. Quantity very low compared to price. I went on Durga Puja time. We had briyani. In the picture I posted you will see the quantity don't get confused by the size the picture is taken with Zoom effect. The quantity I repeat is very less compared to price. Ambience is awesome.

The food here is really good... specially come here to eat chicken bharta... the ambience is almost same as a roadside dhaba.. there are lots of graffiti and bollywood one liners written over the walls.. there are available options in cocktails from the bar..love the variety in kababs...Overall service is nice, highly recommend for fam jams.

Located on the 3rd floor of Diamond Plaza Mall near food court. It has a typical North Indian restaurant with a model of tractor right inside entrance. Good ambience. Tasty food. Prices are reasonable. But no alcoholic beverages served here. Decor is good. Service is little slow. Though the servers try to look to very quick and alert but in fact they don't care for the table they have served. You need to catch their eyes or call them. Overall good experience. Cost for two about Rs 600.

Visited today with my family. Pathetic service we have ever received!!! Stale and awful food was served after waiting for more than an hour. Staffs have ZERO courtesy to host visitors. Most importantly they are NOT MAINTAINING MINIMUM hygiene or sanitization amid this COVID situation.

Their Biriyani, yellow fry Dal, dal makhani, chole and khulche are lip smacking. Staff is friendly and courteous too. Prices are a little on the higher side though.

Even you can be there for evening snacks. Rates are a bit high. 30-40 rs more than its competitors. Ambience will be the best and the topmost thing to rate for Rang de Basanti. I had Biryani with my family at Diamond Plaza. Food quality was pathetic. The meat was hard and stale. Rice had been fried before being served to us. Clearly it was from previous day's leftover. Complained to manager, who did nothing. Paid the bill in Full. Worse than roadside eateries. Dissuade people from visiting that place.

Recently I tried this dhaba. The food was excellent. I had chicken reshmi kebab, chicken bharta, kulcha. It was a dinner for two, so great , and didnot burn a hole in the pocket.

Gone in for a quick lunch on a day where I like to maintain vegetarian food but ended up having a proper meal. The dahi kebab was brilliant along with the paneer makhani. However the kulcha could have been better. All in all a great place.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba they just play Amazingly with the Indian flavours and serves one of the best dishes.<br/> Like- Tandoori chicken 2.O, Mutton Biryani, Desi Fish and chips and Basanti Goli Soda (cola flavour)

The mutton was full of bone and the kebabs had a very thick coating making it not that creamy and soft. Average dining experience!

It's is situated on the 4th floor in Diamond Plaza, great place to have lunch or dinner when you visit the mall or have cravings after watching movie😅. Interior is amazing, set a on theme of a dhaba. Coming to dishes, I've visited this place three times and the taste never disappointed me, it's relishing. And also the amount of food is good compared to price. The biryani's amount and taste is way better than Aminia. Waiters are very polite and friendly. Recommended 👌🏽

A taste of Amritsar under a roof, the punjabi cuisines are really enjoyable. The intersting part is that the support of choosing the proper dish by the staff.

It was my best ever dhaba experience ever..we had their winter special menu, dhaniya chiken shorba,sarso saag & makki ki roti.Each item was faboulasly great.. Their staff's are great.3 to 4 time they come to us and ask for any kind of help..We had spend a very very good Sunday time here.. surly visit again.

Every once in a while we all rejoice our desipan and to fulfill that temptation this place offers you such vibes, so that you can cherish your desiness. Starting from the utensils to ambience and their dishes, everything has a good mixture of taste and desipan.<br/>We ordered chicken tikka, butter naan, dilli da butter chicken, paneer makkhani and for drinks we had masala chanch and lassi.<br/>Except the paneer makkhani everything felt quite delicious. Coming to their service it was pretty okayish nothing fancy.

I was here on the evening of 25th December 2019 for a family dinner. The place seemed too cramped and noisy due to the Christmas rush. The chimneys were not working and the entire dining area was stuffed with nauseating smoke. The overall ambience was not upto the mark and could have been better. <br/><br/>We ordered Chicken Tandoori, Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Roti, Purani Dilli Waali Mutton and Tandoori Roti. Overall the food was satisfactory. However, I feel the Biriyani could have been better.

During this christmas and new year you can have some amazing North Indian winter food of indian at all the outlets of Rang De Basanti Dhaba in kolkata.<br/>A few days back I was at their Diamond Plaza outlet to try that out. The interior decoration and the seating arrangement of this outlet is quite good and spacious. Coming to the food we had from their winter menu :-<br/><br/>Shorbas :- We had total 4 types of shorbas ( 2 veg and 2 non veg).<br/><br/>From Veg shorbas we had Tamatar Dhania naga chili shorba which had a taste of south indian masala too, on the top of that it also little bit spicy. On the other hand the palak shorba has the real taste of palak and a little bit sweet.<br/><br/>Coming to the non veg shorba, we had paya shiri shorba which was made with mutton paya with an awesome taste and dhaba murg shorba which was exactly like indian chicken curry taste with a little difference.<br/><br/>All the shorbas were served with garlic naan.<br/><br/>After this we had the famous sarson ka saag and makke di roti. Thus was pure bliss. Perfect taste awesome presentation. Coming to the price it is affordable and quality of the food is too good and perfect for winter. Do visit here to taste some wonderful winter special cuisines.

Rang De Basanti Dhaba is back with a set of new delicacies for this winter.<br/><br/>I visited the Diamond Plaza outlet and tried the winter menu. It had Shorbas, Sarson Da Saag with Makke di Roti and others. They also have a new menu also has a variety of Mughlai dishes - Peri Peri Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Momos and others.<br/><br/>The shorbas were light and flavourful. The Tamatar Dhania Shorba and Dhaba Murgh Shorba were my favorite. The Sarso ka Saag was brilliant and was perfectly paired with the Makke di Roti.<br/><br/>The Paneer Tawa Biryani was great and went well with the Chicken Palang Tod and Dhaba Mutton Curry. The chicken was amazing. To end it, I had the Gajar ka Halwa cooked in desi ghee. It is a perfect dessert for this winter.<br/><br/>The new menu is definitely worth a try.

I had gone here to try their new winter special menu. Much to my astonishment i loved their shorbas. I had never tried this particular dish in my life. Shorbas are so absolutely delicious i had tried to varieties the murgh shorba and the paneer shorba. Since we were a bunch of people it was easy to share and eat.<br/>For starters we had chicken peri peri tikka - it was absolutely delicious. The chicken pieces were soft and so crunchy filled with masalas.<br/>Next we had the tandoori veg momo - this was so soft and again inspite of being a veg item i loved it.<br/>Moving to the main course we had the very famous makai di roti and sarson da sang - this along with butter and gur can beat any strong non veg dish. I absolutely fell in love with this combination.<br/>But since we love non veg we also gorged on chicken palang tod along with paneer biryani and mutton curry dhaba style. Not a mutton lover but the dish was good. The chicken and the Biryani i liked the most. Ended the sumptuous meal with my favourite winter sweet dish - gajar ka halwa. Coming here back soon!

Feeling like dhaba....Good staff service...well behaved and most important food is too delicious....

Pure north indian ❤️😍taste & smell

I decided to go there with my friends for dinner. The staffs were polite but the the food that we ordered was Dilli da butter chicken which was too oily, Chicken Lababdar was fine, nothing special and the butter nan was really good and very large.  If they look after the quality of the food, then it will be good for us customers as it is situated in a mall. Large number of customers go to eat on a daily basis.

It was Sasthi when we decided to visit the place. It was crowded so we had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get a table. We ordered Naan, mutton rogan josh and Mutton biryani and firni.<br/>I felt quantity was less according to the price. Also taste was average nothing special that would make us visit again.<br/>Staffs were in hurry to clear the table which I understand totally.

Regarding ambience it's definitely beautiful with photo frames of crispy taglines, lights made with flowering pots, serving plates with friendly staffs and a tractor to get the feel of any roadside dhaba. Last time we ordered mutton seekh kebab, chicken tikka kebab and fresh lime soda. The foods was really awesome and tasted delicious. But on the other side if the menu would have contained a few more non-veg starter items it would have been a top notch.<br/><br/>

This restaurant serve quite good Punjabi dhaba style food...but most of dishes from the menu are not available most of the times. The starters are really good here. The main course is satisfactory.

Specially Paratha, tandoori roti, peas pulao, chicken butter masala, Delhi butter chicken & lassi. Recently I visited this restaurant which is located at the food court, Diamond Plaza Mall. The restaurant could accommodate around 40-50 people at a time. They serve North Indian cuisines.<br/>We ordered :<br/>▪︎ Amritsari chole<br/>▪︎ Chicken Bharta<br/>▪︎ Aloo Kulcha<br/>▪︎ Churchur Naan<br/><br/>All of items were great in taste as well as quantity wise.<br/>The chole were little spicy but overall it was great.<br/><br/>Would recommend everyone to try out their Aloo Kulcha!

The restaurant is located in the fourth floor of Diamond Plaza mall, just beside barbeque nation.. the feel and ambience is almost like their other branches, though the sitting area is much smaller.. they have the same menu.. staffs are courteous.. food is served quiet quickly.. my personal best are fish tikka kabab, hari mirch ki roti, delhi butter chicken, chesse and peas polao and lassi.. definitely check out this restaurant if you visit diamond plaza mall

When there is a rush during the puja time they do not have almost everything in their menu. Everything is out of stock or they will be prepared and will take time. We ordered fish tikka as a starter, which was not that great in taste.
