An iconic place at Southern Avenue, this takeaway joint has been a forever hit among locals and people residing far ahead. Their USP lies in the simplicity of their food, and inspite of having simple tables to stand and grab a bite or drinks, Fillers always seem to be packed with passerby and bystanders, not counting the plethora of takeaway orders they cater to. A rather humble and down-to-earth restaurant, their speciality lies in the no-frill food they serve, which may look innocent from the outside, but packs a punch and is enough when had in its entirety. The Grilled Sandwich came in an assortment of boiled potatoes, tomatoes and onions, well covered with cheese on the inside and butter on the outside, this was a complete reflection of the iconic grilled sandwiches found on the popular streets of Mumbai. Soft, succulent and creamy, this place offers one of the best grilled sandwiches I personally have ever tasted. The Vada Pav had a creamy garlicy sauce on top of the vada. The bun was soft and together with the vada was enough to fill up the appetite of a hungry soul. The Alo Bonda served here was more of the Mumbaiya Batata Vada style, rather than the quintessential Udupi styled Bonda found in the Southern states of India. Pair this up with the freshly made in-house coriander chutney, or try the mouthwatering Vegetarian Burger, which comes loaded with a vegetable patty, onions and carrots, and potato chips on the side. The special attraction of this place are the iconic slushes. We tried the refreshing orange, the ever-popular mango, the sinful strawberry and a delectable mocha coffee slush. While each of them had their own distinctive appeal, the coffee slush topped them all. A rather unique flavour to appear in the range of slushes, the balance of the bitter coffee with the cold ice was rather a unique phenomenon. A special mention their brand of chips, known as Jiggis. Crisp and flavourful, with a hint of the gunpowder, the entire proceedings earned from the sale of this chips, goes directly in the upkeeping and maintenance of a school run by the parent organization of Fillers. No seating is available over here , you need to stand and eat outside ,tall tables are provided to keep the food and eat. Mostly, this is a takeaway place. Food- I have been to this inneumerable time and has tasted all of their slush! I have always known this as " the place where slush is served". A delightful canteen to quench your thirst for chai and adda. Fillers prepare quick snacks as well as some tasty meals such pizza, burger and sandwiches. Unfortunatley, theres no seating arrangement but one can park their car infront of the shop, seat inside and chug in all they want.

My first experience here wasn’t bad. It was nothing exciting but food was good. There were about 3 or 4 groups outside the cafe either waiting for their order or enjoying food in stand alone table. This place has been a favorite adda place for College students as well young crowd. This is a complete veg place. I have been visiting this place for the last 12 years. Have tried their coffee, tea, slush, cold coffee, finger fries, chilly toast, pizza, burger and butter corn all of them are quite good but a bit less in quantity only exception to this is their tea or coffee. Today tried their cold coffee which was quite good and refreshing.

This place holds a very special place in my heart. This place was near my tuition. I used to visit this place after tuition. This is like to go place ever since I was a kid! I think it must be one of the first places to start with snacking items to be served in the car. It’s always a good idea on a lazy day to take a drive and have a bite at such places. Hot corn, Jiggy chips (in-house), Vada Pav, Mexican sandwhich, Cold Coffee and mixed cheese pizza would be a perfect meal. Quick and pocket friendly and so tasty!

Over-rated is what I can say about this place. Only pizza from here is what I liked and prices as high as a regular pizza from any pizza giant, this failed to provide any value. The corm cheese Sandwich we ordered was misplaced with cheese toast. The sweet corn was full of red spice Powder. Even the coffee we tried failed to impress. Located at an apt place, service extremely slow and definitely not value for money, can be avoided.

He abused me for asking for the spoon which I had asked quite politely. I imagine how come such a place even run with such bad attitude and customer service. Quick bites and beautiful hang-out sessions by Vivekananda Park - that's what this place offers and of course, in a pocket-friendly way. The food's pretty non-descript but being a once-upon-a-time regular, the best part still is the drive-in and the accommodating staff. What I love: Every variant of Corn & Tea/Coffee, the way you want it! Summer menu includes Slushies at times.

I've been to this place only once. It is located right beside Vivekananda Park and a few yards away from Zucca Lounge. We ordered for a sandwich and a cold coffee. Compared to the price, the food was not at all up to the mark. My friend and I were disappointed to experience their food. I hope they improve their food quality and engage better staffs. Very disappointed to say that it's a complete waste of money here. The prices are exorbitant. The quality of food is not at all value for money. We ordered sweet corn which was perhaps the only thing palatable. The hot cappuccino wasn't worth the price that it has been set for. The vegetable sandwich just killed my mood. No mayo, no proper stuffing. Just a few slices of cucumber and tomatoes sprinkled with pepper. They should either reduce the prices or improve the quality and quantity of food.

Has been a long time hangout for me. If you are in south Kolkata and haven't checked this out, then give it a go. Decently priced food with efficient staff. I love the desi pizzas and fries here. The butter corn is another good draw for me. Tucked in the quiet lanes of Vivekananda park, the parking space is ample for a joint like this. Overall thumbs-up!

Just beside Vivekananda Park,Fillers is a place to hangout with your friends&family.Hunger pangs or just a weekday chilling zone,the most ordered snacks here are the french fries,boiled corn with masala or butter,coffee,tea.There’s a table in the shop where you can stand &eat,but no seats.They serve you in your car&you can have your food in the comfort of your car.The corn is boiled well&mixed with butter,salt&a few drops of lemon juice for a tangy taste.The french fries are crispy&vanishes quickly if you’re hungry 😁.A good place to unwind at the end of the day.The service is disrupted sometimes when regular customers come in&the less regular ones are served later.

Most of the customers are have to either eat in your car pr the table or find your place in footpath. More over they are taking vat & tax on that shitty food also and that is 21%. 😒 totally bad experience. Won't recommend at all. Even the opposite footpath roll wala was better.

Well. I liked this place. I had a tea over there. Which was good. But cost is a bit high. What I liked most is there is waiter standing at the parking lot and delivering the food in the car after taking the order obviously. Heard a lot of good things about Fillers. This is one of the famous places that doesn't live upto it's name. The food isn't bad. But it's got nothing that I haven't tasted elsewhere better, and at a more reasonable price. Not saying the Fillers is expensive or that one shouldn't frequent there, but there are better places.

Although once my go to place, (after cricket matches at Vivekananda Park and during Pujas), I personally feel that Fillers has gone down on the ranking scale in terms of quality in the last couple of years. There are many quick serving and "smart" cafes (as I'd like to call them) nowadays, and Fillers does not seem to be doing anything to improve its game. Feeding off on its past glory can only take it so much further. I would love to see this place bring about some improvements in the days to come.

Have crossed this place many times and found the place crowded with youngsters and the sort. Recently went to the place, found that the place was veg ( why !! ) We ordered Bombay sandwich and some lime juice and cold coffee. The food was decent enough, thou the lady at the counter was pretty suspicious about the customers. Pros: 1. Good option for some light snacks 2. Tasty 3. Not so costly. Cons: 1. No seating space 2. After hearing a lot about ther pizzas finally got a chance to visit. Small outlet kind of place. No sitting arrngenent is available. you can stand and eat or can takeaway. N actully the pizzas are worth to eat. Its a homemade kind of pizza, with good texture and test, somethnig diferent , pav bhaji is even good and buttey. N aftr hvng a good meal cold coffee they servr is amzmg. Good place for snacks n all

Quick stop and snacking option. This place has been around for sometime and the food here has been pretty consistent. I really love their tea the most. If ever in the mood to have pizza homemade style i head over to this place. No seating as such and you stand or usually get food delivered to your car and have. Grab a bite when around but dont specially go there to eat. The cost for two is around 350.

A few friends came over to my place and we were too lazy to go out for evening snacks. So; we ordered food from here through Swiggy. Its a vegetarian restaurant. We ordered Mushroom Pizza , Cheese and Garlic Burger, Mexican Sandwich, Chilli cheese toast and French fries. The pizza base was very thick but there was a good amount of mushroom in the topping. The cheese garlic burger was my favorite of the lot. The mexixan sandwich could have been way better though. And what can go wrong with french fries? They tasted amazing! All in all; this place is good for grabbing a quick meal.

It needs to be air-conditioned, and even with the price raised, people will flock to this place. It's veg, yes. But the food they serve is very tasty. and the drinks are amazing too, be it their coffees or their slushes. In fact, very few places have an ice-crusher as good as theirs at this price.

It is my goto place for cold coffee with my friends. It is near Vivekananda park in Southern Avenue. They serve very nice pizzas. You get served in your car also and its a nice place to just hang out over coffee.

A very well known place among the youth of Kolkata who likes to hang around the Vivekanondo Park premises. This place has been there for quite some time now and is famous for their finger food. Their USP is the location which is a hotspot hangout zone for teenagers. The waiters take orders from your vehicle and is also served there. Their menu is very limited and the food served here is just okayish. One thing which i like out here is the Slush. Prices are not steep keeping in mind the crowd. Kind of that place from where you order some fries or nuggets while you spend some time with your friends in the evening.

We went fillers couple of times in last years, located beside vivekananda park and 3 mins walking distance from French Loaf. Its a simple veg snack joint in the neighbourhood. Not very much to offer. I had both good and bad experience. The sandwiches were good always specially the chilli cheese one but I don't like their burgers. Pricing was very much pocket friendly.. Service was good.

The food is as basic as it can get. Fillers has been around for a long, long time and is mainly popular thanks to all the young crowd dropping by Vivekananda Park for their share of Evening Adda. Some popular veg snacks that the place serves, include- chilli cheese toast, French fries, cheese & garlic burger, masala/butter corn, pizza, etc. These are basically the things I order when visiting. The main attraction though are the slushes.

A surprise visit from a friend on a sultry evening like today called for some good food. Too lazy to step out of the house, Swiggy came to our rescue! We ordered snacks from this joint and it made our evening, more so because, ghor ey boshe khawar moja ii alada! :D Although a veg joint, this place has an array of snacking items, starting from burgers to pizzas! We ordered : • Bombay grilled sandwich - pretty good. There was a generous amount of cheese which made us immensely happy. • Veg burger - appetizing, but a tad bit too spicy. Was served with potata chips. • French fries - the usual! The quantity was good. • Tomato cheese pizza - the star of the evening. This was absolutely lip smacking!! It was cheesy and amazingly priced at just 140 bucks. All this for 345 bucks, taking into consideration the 100 bucks discount from swiggy! Good quality food at cheap rates. Happy tummies happy us!

A pretty mediocre experience actually. Although the slushies were really good, the sandwich I ordered failed to be filling, let alone tasty. A sandwich of 70 bucks containing only onions, some pieces of boiled potatoes and a little ketchup is not even something I would prefer making at home for myself to be honest. The burger tasted a little better, but still not upto the mark. I believe, for a veg shack to not have a good taste is a suicide in a city of meatlovers really. And that too with no seats, when there are so many better places by the same price with seats and better food too!! Not going back again.

I have been to this place quite a few times. Had their Bombay veg grilled sandwich, cheese sandwich, Cold coffee and slush. Basically I go there to have my fav slush. The food is nothing gr8... I find them overly priced. The Bombay veg sandwich is the only grilled sandwich available...priced at Rs 80+taxes...2 slices of bread cut into 2 triangles with veggies and mayo....I find the quantity pretty less. I'll rather pay 120 at a cafe which has seating and AC. I don't understand why so many people frequent this place. The Slush,priced at Rs.40 is served in a small glass,the size gradually reduced over the years....not worth it at all.

Nice drive by joint on southern avenue. Love the coffee and fries. Haven't tried anything other though. Ideal place for coffees and shakes.

We often go there for adda....N chill out...nice place....the tea is not good...coffee ok...but one thing is worth mentioning... The Slush....with diff fruit flavours....N ice...very cheap...Rs 30 but refreshes one.must try.

It was a late evening, and we were tired after our performance at dhakuria lake and a friend of mine had this place bookmarked and so we planned to drop in. A small vegetarian shack like outlet, with a decent variety of food. We had slushes, cheese sandwich, Bombay grilled sandwich and cheese garlic burger. I have nothing to say about the slushes. Cheese sandwich was like normal readymade ones, not appealing at all. The Bombay grill was okish, it had 4 pieces but overloaded with cucumber ( negative point),and potatos not very flavorful. The burger was best of the lot, but the patty was soggy and soft, it was tasty no doubt. The staff was good. The place is not somewhere you should go for ambience and good food, but if you are looking for filling food which will go easy on your pocket you can drop in.

It's a basically a small veg food joint. They have tea coffee coolers also along with food. You will find very basic veg snacks over there. No seating arrangement, you can take away the food.

I used to visit this place quote a lot when I was in school so there is a lot of nostalgia attached to this place. I always used to have their Sweet butter corn and cold coffee. Try them,you won't be disappointed! There are no seating arrangements though. You either have to stand or if you are in your car they will serve it for you!:)

It's a pure veg joint and has no seating arrangement it's more like a take away joint. Whenever I walk nearby this place especially in hot summer days I make it a point to have their lemon flavoured slush, it is my absolute favourite though nothing extraordinary but quite refreshing. Otherwise all other veg items are quite basic. The prices are also moderate therefore a pocket friendly veg place.

The hangout junction of South Kolkata. All the cars parked beside Vivekananda Park to have a good "adda" and a a glass of slush from Fillers. There's so many other things to drink and have from this place. And their special service to your car is one advantage. They're going to come to you, take your order and serve you there itself. It's a nice place overall.

A very convenient place for grabbing a snack. An eat and go joint, more of a fast food joint. Food is okay-ish. The service nees to implemented and made more efficient!!

Nice place to hangout. I stop by this place almost everyday on my way back from office. The only point of concern is they have only veg items. I normally have nachos, paw bhaji, masala corn, club sandwich, burger, etc. Slush is famous here. Since there is no seating arrangement so people just park their cars and have the food inside the car. A cool place to hangout with friends.

Have passed this place quite a couple of times but didn't notice this outlet. A friend of mine suggested this place after reading the reviews on zomato. We were actually full so just ordered Mexican nacchos. Believe me they provide really insufficient quantity where the price is quite high. A bit of a disappointment on that part. Otherwise the nacchos and the dip was really good. Will visit this place yet again to try out their other items. P.S - They only serve veg items!

This place serves very basic vegetarian snacks but never had a dearth of customers. I have been here innumerable times since childhood. There maybe too many cafes in and around southern avenue now, but fillers has been there from since I remember. Good place to have a slush and a sandwich with friends while walking through the area in the evenings.

good place for a quick bite. located opposite Vivekananda Park , in Southern Avenue,this is a regular hangout place for college goers. one of the oldest food joint in the area, this place serves everything from tea to pizza. items are average priced. visit this place for a quick nd filling snack, if u are low on your budget. must try their refreshing slush! (i personally prefer the pineapple one). ^_^

Came to know about this place in my 1st year of college life through one of my friend. Then decided to go there one day after college. As i was from Heritage so it was not that far off also. Located on d side of Vivekananda Park beside The French Loaf . I saw this joint in the Bengali movie - "Maach Misti and More." They serve all vegetarian dishes and no non-veg. It was a summer time when i first went there. The place is never empty. Its always full of people mainly teenagers. We ordered one mushroom pizza, one hot chocolate, an orange slush and a French fry. Food didn't take much time to come. The service was quiet quick. There is no sitting arrangement in this joint as its very small. But as of the surroundings no one would have sat also inside. The place is really good for some good evening chitchat along with some nice food. :)

Fillers is a good eatery for people hanging out at Vivekananda Park. The place is a pocket friendly joint as it is frequented by college goers. Although I don't like veg eateries but I really like their french fries and coffee. Cost for two should be around 200-300 at the max.

Have been to this small eatery a lot during my college days.The location is good,its just beside vivekananda park.one can enjoy the sunset and bite onto some burger and a cup of corn. The cinnamon coffee is equallt good. The salt and sour soda sikanji is refreshing during summer. I would always love to visit this place when i am in that locality.
