Review London Lounge - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Last week i visited this place with my friendz. Its located just opposite to KPC ,jaduvpur.Its a small cafe,one thing which i personally liked was ,their walls,where the visitors used to write their experiences. They could comfortably accommodate 14-15 people at a time. The foods we ordered were Ham and cheese sandwich and Desi spicy chicken sandwich served with a packet of lays Seek kebab wrap and Chilli cheese wrap were awesome in taste. 2 piece Roasted Drumstick served in a plated was my personal favorite. Chicken tikka salad was a bit spicy but still taste good enough. Their Special chicken chat was a unique dish for me as i tasted for the first time and it totally satisfied my taste buds. Their Cheese chicken burger was full of cheese and chicken which i liked the most,considering the price. Ended with a sweet tooth with Cream caramel this mouthsmaking ( must try ) and my all time favorite Brownie with ice cream, as always is good ,though the brownie could be more softer.. This place is very much pocket friendly and the quality and quantity will definitely satisfy your tastebuds..! Will visit again ....!!!! Regards Aritree Sarkar

This is a nice cosy cafe near Jadavpur 8b bus stand....the ambience of this place is nice...a good place for hangout and chill for the college students.....variety of food available here with pocket-friendly price... a few days ago I went to this place I had:- cheese chicken burger chilli cheese wrap the taste of the food is good....the quality and quantity of the food is also good.... the overall experience was awesome...revisit soon

Located 1mins walk from Jadhavpur 8B bus stop, this place is just the perfect place for your breakfast. Looked a bit small from outside but from inside, it looks pretty nice! Let me quickly tell you what we've had, Ham & cheese sandwich : I kinda liked it as the ham seemed pretty fresh to me and there was some decent amount of cheese in the sandwich as well. They served it with some chips and tomato ketchup. You can give it a try. Desi spicy chicken Sandwich : I loved it and I definitely recommend you to try as well. Seek kebab wrap : Best of the wraps they offer and I would definitely recommend you to try this one if you want to go for wraps. Chilli cheese wrap : Well it was more like a potato wrap as you can feel the potato in every bite. I didn't find it that spicy though but you can definitely give it a try. Chicken tikka salad : Ahh I love salads. I would definitely go after salads anyday rather than picking some fancy dishes. It was a bit spicy but the lettuce and cucumber kinda balanced the taste. Loved it. Roasted drumstick : 2pieces of chicken leg you'll get with some green chutney if you go for this one. It's a bit spicy. The chicken was cooked properly and it was soft from inside as well. London lounge special chicken Chat : It was kinda similar to the chicken salad they offer. I've found loads of bell peppers in the dish and they've perfectly balanced the spice with some lemon. So, it's a bit tangy and gives a beautiful after taste. Cheese chicken burger : There were two slices of cheese I suppose. The burger seemed pretty good to me as the burger had good structure and was not crumbling at all. Tex mexican rice bowl : SPICY if I have to describe it in one word. The presentation seemed pretty decent though. They've used, couple of carrot slices and lemon slices to decorate it. Cream caramel : MUST HAVE. In the dessert section I've found this one pretty much promising. Loved the texture, shape and taste. RECOMMENDED. Brownie with ice cream : They kinda crumble the brownie and put ice cream on the top, garnishing with some chocolate sauce. Makes it looks like a melting mountain. You can give it a try. ‌ Lemon chilli : It was more like a refreshing drink to me. Should've tried it before finishing the meal but anyway I loved it. Had a pleasant experience here at London lounge. It's a beautiful place for hang out, small and cosy. A pocket friendly breakfast point indeed.

It's a pretty awesome cafe located near 8b Busstand, Jadavpur (opposite of KPC Medical). Ambience is very nice and cafe is full of aesthetics, the wall is decorated with paintings and drawings, kind of artistic you can definitely say! Food is awesome as well the food quality. I ordered steamed flavoured rice with homemade kosha and it was very tasty...price is affordable too! Nice place for college goers/ working people/ Friends or family...!!!

It is a small cafe lounge located near by 8B bus stand and on the Raja S.C Mullick road. A very cozy and calm ambience. This place is really good for devouring quite bites and coffees.Deserts options are also good. One with friends could hang out here for hours.

I just order a craving sandwitch from here..it was...chicken cheese grilled satay with papper sandwitch..a brilliant food product..i must say to try every sandwitch lover..chicken was well cooked and balanced..a little bit of sweetness..well grilled bread....price: 130...i suggest it try once through any online food order services...can get a discount.. i got is at 80 rs...it came with chips as well with catchup..❤...

The ambience is good. Well the quality of food can be improved . We ordered sandwiches. It's a great place to hang out with friends. Though it's pretty small but the sitting arrangements are great. They provide everyday special combos. Where we had muffins and coke along with sandwich. It's pretty good. But it's not as good for the sophisticated people

Visited this place few days back with my friends and loved it ! The ambience is very good. Also the staff behaviour is well. We ordered Tax Mexican Rice Bowl and Cheese Chicken Burger and Lemon Chilli Mocktail. The burger was full of cheese and i loved it i wanted to have more. It was stuffed with a huge amount of chicken and cheese. The Tax Mexican Rice Bowl was also good i liked it too. The mocktail was amazing. It was so refreshing and I loved it. I would love to visit again.

I was meeting a very old school friend of mine after 15 years i guess. We were on the road and this place was there infront of us. Ordered sandwich and Lemon Soda drink , we were satisfied with what we had there. So all together a decent place on the roadside.

Ordered - Chiken tikka wrap <br/><br/>Delicious food ! The wrap was crunchy and chewy with perfect taste. It was filled with Chicken, capsicum, onion and mayo in the inside. It was disgusting! It was stale! It was rancid. How do you charge so much for this?! it was almost like an old raw piece of marinated chicken. it is not cooked properly, it was raw and rubbery and smelling so bad! it was so spicy that i almost choked. The pieces of chicken were neither chest nor legs nor wings..i don't know what it is! How did you give the title 'bestseller' to it?! terrible!

Last week I visited here with my friends..it was located in jadavpur near 8b bus stand...small place but ambiance was too good. specially their walls where people written their views....we ordered ham sandwich, chicken tikka salad,cheese chicken burger, brownie ice cream.....all items was too gd.burger was full of cheese..sandwich was so tasty also tikka salad was gd...I visited again to have some delicious food....

I have ordered 1 aromatic rice and grilled chicken with cream caramel combo<br/>And a aromatic rice and kosha mangsho bowl<br/><br/>First I would say the packaging was excellent<br/>But the grilled chicken was very bad It tastes like a boiled chicken that too without salt.<br/>And I would say that the quantity of the rice was too much for the amount of chicken provided.....<br/>BUT<br/>The kosha mangsho rice bowl was pretty good..... This is a small cafe opposite KPC medical and has a very sweet and creative decoration. You can sit there for hours and chit chat over some food which is extemely pocket friendly. In the frame : Fried fish in lemon butter wrap, green apple cooler and cold coffee topped with vanilla ice cream. All the three were amazing. The wraps were oil free and still tasted good. The amount was fair enough in comparison to the price.

It tastes really good.<br/><br/>2) Aromatic Rice Bowl with Homemade Sauce and Kosha Mangsho- I liked the bowl and the presentation of the food in a tray, but I thought the rice was a little dry. There wasn't enough sauce or gravy and it was a little difficult to eat. It was filling though, to a certain extent.<br/><br/>3) Aromatic Rice Bowl with Homemade Sauce and Thai Red Curry- This was one of the items on the Special list. The flavors were good but again, it was a bit dry.<br/><br/>Affordability: 5/5<br/>The food is quite reasonably priced and value for money. Had seen this café many times while crossing jadavpur, one day after office since it was raining outside thought of going to a café nearby. Since I was in jadavpur so went there. We were not that hungry, so ordered 2 beverages:<br/><br/>Litchi delight - I don't know why the drink was sour in taste, topped with vanilla ice cream and strawberry syrup. It was good though. (₹65)<br/><br/>Cold coffee with vanilla ice cream - the cold coffee was tasteless, topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. (₹65)<br/><br/>Our bill came around ₹136. Prices are pocket friendly.<br/><br/>Staffs are well behaved and polite, I forgot my phone on the table and was about to leave, one of them reminded me. It's a cute and cozy cafe. I ordered exotic brownies with walnuts from Zomato with a discount and the price I have gotten it for it was pretty good deal for the quantity and it tastes good not best ofcourse. For the price it is nice.. should definitely try

I ordered aromatic rice with grilled chicken accompanied with cream caramel pudding. Taste was fine, but the cup of the pudding was broken & due to that the liquid was spilled out. Please take care of your packaging for home deliveries.<br/>

In frame :- Chicken Ceaser n veg wrap , Cold coffee with vanilla ice cream..<br/><br/>There was a combo of this two on the board, that day.. and the bill was around ₹125 including GST..<br/><br/>It is cozy place for casual hangouts, the wrap was oil free, filled with chicken lettuce and mayo served along with potato chips.. the cold coffee was quite thick topped with a vanilla ice cream scoop and Chocolate sauce..!!<br/>Food - 4.5/5<br/>Ambience - 4.2/5<br/>Service - 4/5

The ambience is pretty good. Although the place is not so big inside,still it can fit quite a number of people. The food quality is average. The place is little hard to find but you can find it in Jadavpur 8b bus stand beside Hindustan Sweets.

I had their aromatic rice with homemade sauce and grilled paneer, and veg maharaja sandwich.<br/><br/>The rice was good and had corn and capsicum in it. The paneer was chunky and the sauce extremely nice.<br/><br/>The maharaja sandwich had different layers with assorted veggies, and came with potato wafers.<br/><br/>While the quality of food is good, the quantity is disappointing for the price range.

This is a small cafe, opposite to KPC hospital. I tried :<br/>1.spicy tango signature chicken chaat- a tasty chicken salad, with all kind of veggies, tossed in mayo, and a spicy mix, topped with potato chips. This was my 2nd order today. The Hulk chicken cheese burger. It was for sure a day old burger. As I ordered it for my daughter and before I could stop her she already had half of it. Otherwise I would have returned it.<br/>Suggestion: Don't give discounts delay a customers order but don't sell stuffs that are not freshly made. The experience of a customer eating a burger made by you gets poorer. Don't play with your image that you earned from me on my first order.<br/><br/>Good Luck

Located in jadavpur this place is perfect for students to visit. We ordered combo meal which includes chicken sandwich,brownie and coca-cola . The price is rs129. Service is quite satisfiable.

I have ordered from this place quite a few times.Initially I used to love the chicken Ceaser salad wrap and Mexicana chilly sausage wrap,but I did not like them much in recent times.The sandwiches are good too. The one time I ordered their grilled chicken wing ,it was stale and cold.They should up their game a little and try to maintain the quality of food.

Very pocket friendly restaurant with a very nice ambience with a feel of london and kolkata. The graffiti painting here is very awesome and appreciable. I visited several time in this cafe and they never dissapointed me with their service and food. This place is located near 8b bus stand.<br/>It's very claustrophobic and there are not many seating arrangements as well. The service is not up to the mark as well as the food.

Small place to hangout the food quality is good the combo's are really interesting. The rice combo is the best which is served with a chiken wing.

I ordered a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich ... It is one of the worst sandwiches I've tasted till date and I'm not exaggerating.. the sandwich had a burnt smell... It was extremely soggy and it was an excuse for a bacon sandwich there were exactly two one rupee coin sized undercooked bacon pieces in the sandwich ... No use fooling customers London lounge.. I'm never ordering from here again and would never recommend it to anyone...absolutely disgusting !

Good initiative. The logo is pretty cool. Food can be better though. Good place for meeting up friends. Jadavpur really has good healthy competition as far food is concerned so I would really request the good people here to up there game and really put some effort into their food recipes.

Ordered their aromatic rice bowl with chicken drumsticks. Rice was well cooked with scent of fresh lemon on it. The spices were intact with the chicken drumstick. Food was not too oily and healthy as well. Price was also pocket friendly. Quantity wise it’s sufficient for 1 person. With zomato discounts the items are available at much cheaper rates.

Ordered grilled chicken and rice, but the chicken smelled and tasted funny. Must be old and refrigerated. Rice with sauce was good. Quantity was ample for 1 person.

Have ordered an "Indian Masala Chicken with Cheese Burger" yesterday...the chicken pudding was great but the burger bread was not good as it was stale...the zomato vallet was well mannered and order was on time. Overall it was not that great.

I'm literally in love with their sandwiches! Got to try their huge bacon, egg, chicken, ham sandwich and it was quite a jumbo one. Loaded with chicken and bacon, it was enough to fulfill my craving. Going to order more variety of food from this place.

Specifically told themnot to put raw onions. Perhaps they dont know the difference between raw onin and toadted onion. Moreover on calling them to give a feedback the person continuously argued that they had given roasted onion and was not ready to take a feedback. Shows unprofessionalism in dealing with customers. Needs to have faith on the customer to continue in the food business.

I ordered Acapulco Chicken Quesadilla and the grilled chicken sandwich combo(walnut brownie + coke) through UberEats today. Oh man wasn't disappointed at all. Loved every bit of it. The Quesadilla was cheesy and stuffed with chicken, the sandwich was stuffed and grilled to perfection and so was the brownie that bursted with flavours in every bite!! It costed me around 150bucks for such an amazing experience. Would definitely order again. Keep it up!!!

My rating would be 3.5. I ordered food from here twice. I had oil free chicken tikka coriandar wrap and oil free roasted chicken leg.<br/>Honestly I did not like the wrap much. The half of the fillings was made up of uncooked capcicum that made the taste horrible. I had to open the wrap and discard all of them. Without capcicum the wrap would have tasted much better.<br/>The roasted chicken was really good both in quantity and quality. Though I believe the sauce could have been better.<br/>One more thing I did not like is they charge hefty packaging charge 10 rs per item but the packaging is so poor that the sauce from the roasted chicken was leaking<br/>Fortunately, when complained to zomato, they credited back the packaging charge. This is where zomato is different from all other food app.

Ordered a creamy chicken tikka coriander wrap via swiggy. Wrap was soft and filled with lots of chicken pieces but had expected more of the cream but nonetheless it tasted really good. Complementary chips and ketchup were served too.

It's my go to place whenever I visit Jadavpur . Generally I order sandwiches . The organic one with egg is the best. It's such a lovely place where I can seat for hours enjoying light food over lots of gossips .

It's a small place just opposite kpc medical college. The food here is quite good. The sandwich of the day are specially awesome. Place is ideal for hanging out nd chatting. 😊

This place is located near Jadavpur 8b on the main road which leads towards Sulekha. The place is small but it serves great food at comparatively low prices. It is a great place for students too. I recently ordered their Chicken Sandwich combo through Swiggy. It had a chicken sandwich with lots of chicken and cheese, a brownie and a bottle of coke (300ml). This entire combo was priced at 105 including all delivery charges and stuff. The sandwich and brownie tasted amazing and is enough for one person.

I ordered Ham Nachos; all I got was Doritos with ketchup and cold salami pieces. Don't write nachos if you can't deliver. If I wanted to have Doritos with ketchup I would've made it at home only. I didn't have to spend 150 for it.

The place is miniscule and cramped although there is an obvious attempt at creating some sort of a coffee shop atmosphere while still fastidiously holding on to the name London Lounge. The result is a set of photographs of the English capital on the wall and guest comments scribbled around them. The resemblance to London in the ambience is pretty much non-existent, the best quality of places in London (and the quality that makes it my favourite city in the world) is its seeming effortlessness.<br/><br/>The menu is quite extensive and the prices are pricey when compared to the food. The sandwiches aren't bad - I had the plain grilled chicken sandwich combo and the cheese chicken sausage sandwich - but they are incredibly underwhelming. It's easy enough to make these sandwiches and the prices are too steep for the taste of the food.<br/><br/>Nevertheless, this small place can be a nice little place to catch a cup of Twinings' English Breakfast if someone doesn't overly care about ambience.<br/>

I ordered a chicken cheese burger & 300ml cold drinks combo from this place. The burger was very average & very small in size. The burger patty was not good. Cheese was very difficult to found. It cost me around 100 bucks but i would prefer Mio Amore at any time. For what they have taken 100 rupees I don't know. Very much dissappointed.

It is located at a 5 minute walking distance from 8B bus stand. It is a very small shop with few sitting arrangement in it. The staffs are really very helpful. We ordered desi spicy mayo sandwich with cheese. The sandwich was made to order. It was filled with sumptuous amount of chicken and the mayo has a slight tangy flavour.<br/>Overall a good experience. Would like to visit again to try their fried wings.

A moderate cafe with so so type of burger and sandwich. Bit too expensive compared to the quality and quantity they serve. 3 star is only for the decor. Needs alot of improvement. 3 star os only for the decor and the cool stools they provide to chill.

Got delivered a combo and a wrap from here a couple of weeks ago. Food tasted good and was filling. Loved the fact that the combo came with a choco chip muffin. But i hope that they work on their packaging a bit. Would love to visit this place once.

This is one of the best hangout place so far for casual meeting, economy pricing and for excellent taste. Sandwiches, wraps, and pizza are available. Sandwich collection is good and all of them are worth trying and same with wraps. I tried experimenting with burger and terribly failed. Never tried a pizza. I had ordered for 2 double decker chicken sandwich and one double decker egg sandwich. The restaurant instead delivered 3 double decker chicken sandwich. My mom doesnt consume chicken due to ethical reasons. And i ordered sandwich as our dinner. I ordered egg for my mother and now it came chicken. This is a SERIOUS mistake. Restaurant should compensate. Beware everybody!!!<br/><br/>After i contacted the customer service they informed me that the restaurant said there was no separate egg sandwich. All are stuffed with chicken along with egg. Complete nonsense!! They are giving a separate menu for EGG but actually serving EGG CHICKEN sandwiches. This was my first booking and i am outright disappointed. Restaurant's online menu is so so deceiving. Simply cheating customers!!

the food taste was okay.. although the pizza,a veg corn and cheese one,was damn bad. the pizza sauce was Very very bad and cheese as bad. the burger was decent though the chicken patty could have been better. I also ordered a Caesar salad.. though it tasted okay but lacked many ingredients which should be there in a Caesar salad like krutons and tomatoes among other stuffs... more efforts should be given. I had ordered double chicken cheese burger from this place. I found it to be pathetic. The bun was really hard and wasn't even feeling like it was fresh at all. The chicken patty inside the burger was so horrible. Not at all juicy so firm.<br/>It was not at all edible. When the order was delivered to us the burger already was cold and sacked.<br/>I paid around 130 for such a burger which was really very pathetic in taste.<br/>Very disappointed and unhappy with their service and food quality. This place is not really like a cafe where u can get good snacks,food or either that type of environment but its ok when the cafe is empty or not so much crowded. The place is really too small. The food were average as u can get such food at a much lower price so its just ok for a hangout.The cappucino was actually just a normal homemade coffee and the wrap that we ordered was not tasty at all whereas the sandwiches were okay.
