Ambiance was decent, staff behaviour was automatically awesome. I had tried chicken rezala (Thursday special) price:120/- with laccha paratha price:16/-. Your can't keep your craving if you are here😁

It's a tiny space restaurant but the food was delicious. Once visit for sure.🫶

This is one of oldest restaurants in central Kolkata . Situated on the side of the AJC BOSE Road and opposite to the Ripon Street. They are well known for the good quality of foods specially their " mutton rezala" is just awesome. Reasonably priced , nice behaviour, good service is the key words.

The 'paratha' and the 'tikiya' tastes amazing here.. I've never tasted a better tikiya roll in Kolkata yet.. beats Arsalan, Bedouin n many others..

I have tried chicken roll and mutton Hakeem from here. I absolutely love this place.

It is a good delivery and very fast. I enjoy it. But I felt that your estimate time to delivery did not matched with actual delivery time that meant estimate time was 20 mins and delivery boy called before 10 - 12 mins customer when he had come to the place. If time is required to delivery is 20mins then food will be delivered on time.

One of my go to places and a personal favourite. I cannot recall the number of times I dine in or take away from here. It's tasty, reasonable and we'll located.

I'm a regular here, both for a dine in as well as for take away. Their chaaps, rumali roti and biryani are must haves. Prices are reasonable and taste is very good.

Had a short visit to Delhi Darbar to grab a Frankie roll. But found this small restaurant to have more selection. The shami kebab & paranthas were delicious. Tried the egg roll too, but had better rolls. May go back to try the biriyani & chicken chaap.

Delhi Darbar is located near Ripon street & A.J.C Bose road crossing.

Ambience is shabby with sitting arrangenents.

Service is quick.

Tried Tandoori roti with Chicken Rezala. Chicken Rezala was spicy & flavourful , a bit oily.

Pocket pinch is reasonable.

Located near Reepon Street , AJC BOSE road crossing just beside Kathleen. A very shabby looking restaurant. Unhygienic. Poor Utensils. Really below standard food. Staffs behaviour was not good at all. Nothing to say about food. Just definitely not recommended.

Located near my office, went there during Ramadan .
Ordered Special mutton Haleem , tandoori roti and special firni .
Haleem is a high calorie dish made with rice, lentils, minced meat and spices , which is cooked slowly for a paste like consistency .
Haleem was above average.
Special firni was creamy , delectable to eat.
Pocket pinch is very cheap, a shabby not so good ambience with not so good staffs.

Quite reasonable joint serving satisfactory food....the sating area is a bit cramped...not recommended for family dinning....Staffs are ok..... The Chaanp tastes quite good...
An upgrade would be needed soon.....

Again my love for park street area continues. Its very very cheap. Chicken chap at its best. The spicy old Delhi with full of spice and crunchy flavour of old Delhi would b felt if u visit this place. An awesome chicken chap 💚💚💚💚💚

Amazing food. Try the mutton chaap or mutton rezala with mutton/egg biryani. Really tasty and very authentic. Better than many well known joints.

Love the malai kofta, tandoori chicken and butter nan here! Good quality food with warm hospitality. One of the better north Indian restaurants of Kolkata.

You might have to wait for a while outside DD to get a table but relish the aroma of chicken chaap, mutton tikkia, biriyani and more. This destination has been my favourite ever since school days. Mutton tikkia with rumali roti & tea. Squeeze the lemon on the sliced onion that comes complimentary. Then tear the roti and wrap a portion of the tikkia. Add few slices of onion into your mouth along with the roti & tikkia and then indulge yourself with a sip of tea. My nostalgic appetite is now at peace. Amen, now your turn.

Delhi Darbar...A name enough to explain its delicacies... Its menu has a great combination of Mughlai dishes but out of all my favourite dishes are Mutton Tikkia and Tikkia Roll...I jus love these two and a Must try ...!!

Unbelievable ! Delhi darbar on zomato. A small little street joint just beside kathleen at ripon street bus stoppage. Sheer nostalgia for me. Its just beside my school. Its a small dingy little joint, where you would not feel like entering. But during school days this was what we would wait for. To enter delhi darbar and hog like hooligans. It didnt matter whether it dint have an a.c or proper clean tables and chairs. What matter was the sheer joy of friends eating out together after school. whatsoever, the quality of food is amazingly heavenly. I guess if u parcel it and have it it can compete with the leading mughlai cuisine restros in kolkata. Our staple food would always be the soft tandoori rotis and the mutton shammi kebab tikia, teamed with onion rings and green chillies. We would have nearly gone crazy, eating this nearly every week. And how excellent it tasted. The chicken chaap is equally good. we would run to delhi darbar every thursday to either have mutton rezala and lachchha paratha, which tasted excellent or we would simply stick to chicken qorma. It is here that i had first tried qorma. But fish is generally not available. The biryani however I haven't ever tasted as we were broke during our school times. However, the rating 3.5 is sheerly on the quality of food and not on the unhygienic ambience. The food is just too DARBARI.

‘Delhi Darbar’ is located just beside my office. This small restaurant located exactly in Ripon Street & AJC Bose Road crossing. I have been to this place many times with my office colleagues. Today also I had my usual Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Chap. It’s not a restaurant where you c an expect anything extraordinary. Quantity of the food was good, but taste was average. If you are planning to dine in this restaurant please don’t expect any ambiance. This is the best place if you are hungry and in hurry.

2nd Review 14/07/2015 [ Rating Changed 2.0 to 3.0]

If its Ramadan how could I forget Delhi Darbar just beside my office. I planned to end my Ramadan food walk, with enjoying haleem at Delhi Darbar. We ordered Special Mutton Haleem, Tandoori roti and special firni.

Though its taste bit average but I think it’s one of the authentic haleem in Kolkata and also cheap. Don’t forget to add golden fried onions and coriander leaves with a slice of lime to bring out the best taste of their Haleem.

Their special firni was nice, creamy and it’s low-cost also. So you can try more than one if you enjoy the intake.

My ‘Ramadan Food Walk: Haleem Special 2015’ journey ends here but I will again come back with a new start next year.
