It's a nice restaurant to spend time with family and it has a nice ambience. The servers are very helpful. We had ordered butter nun, afgani chicken masala , mixed fried rice, afgani mutton. They have introduced a cocktail menu recently. We have tried blue lagoon and let me tell you it was nothing to write home about as it was very basic. The food tasted really good though. Especially the naans. The price is reasonable and so is the quantity. My UPI had some malfunction and I accidentally paid twice but when I called them after reaching home they told me to collect the extra money whenever I can. In this aspect they were very helpful. I recommend this establishment if you are looking for a family friendly restaurant in N.S.C bose road area. The only downside is that you have to climb some steep stairs as it is located on the first floor and the stairs can be a bit hazardous for people with knee pain or back pain if not careful. On NSC Bose road., most oldest Restrurent among the others,Besicaly Mughal, chainese are best in the menu card. Take away,home delivery also available with tie up with web apps. Atmosphere is very good and the behavior of staff is polite.overall a good experience.
Aminia Tollygunge is very good. Located near Malancha cinema hall this outlet serves very authentic taste of Biriyani and Kababs like other Aminia outlets. The pocket pinch is moderate. The dine in location is at first floor and it's not at wheelchair accessible. They also have a takeaway which is at ground floor. The items you must try are Chicken Reshmi Kabab, Chicken Malai Kabab and of course Biriyani.
Excellent serving and most delicious yet less oily Biriyani from Aminia. Chicken chaap was very delicious, probably the best. Firni was good too. Kababs were also so soft and tasty.
The quality was good. Biryani wasn't too oily and dry either, it was well balanced. Mutton was well cooked. The restaurant was clean and the ambience was good.
I recently visited the Aminia restaurant near Tollygunj with my family. We had ordered three plates of chicken biriyani. The food was delivered timely and service was good. The biriyani tasted really delicious and quantity was enough for three people. Later we also ordered soft drinks and chocolate mousse for dessert. The chocolate mousse was so yummy. So overall, I loved the food and was impressed with the ambience . Therefore I would highly recommend this restaurant for family dinner & outings.

Portion Size was good... Tried Mutton Biriyani,Mutton Halim & Chicken Malai Kebab! Halim was not so tasty! Ambience was good!
Some foods were good but the kababs were cold. The mutton pieces in the biriyani were not that good.
Aminia is situated on N.S.C. Bose Road, Tollygunge, Regent Park, beside closed Malancha Cinema Hall. The place remains a bit crowded at times.

The plates tasted good but not the best. The biryani was well prepared so were the Mutton. The Mutton pieces were big and aloo and egg were also provided.
They have reopened amidst this situation maintaining the best safety precautions.

The legendary biryani, when cooked the kolkata way , there is only one name that is Aminina. But this one is quiet new. That one which situated at esplaned is not so good now-a-days (behaviour of stuff and food also). But at this one you will get finest biryani. Tasty but not very much heavy. Please try mutton shami kebab and tandoori chicken. Loved it. Ambiance is also good and its very much nearest to my house.
Famous for their chicken chanp and biriyani...they also sell mughal cuisines and rolls along wid kebabs....the aroma and tender mutton pieces just wow.....
