Authentic Bengali traditional dishes along with other north Indian dishes. The restaurant is famous for its sweet dishes of pitha, you will get varieties of pithas with modern and traditional style. They also are very much near to the Kalighat metro and main route of other transport areas. So highly recommend to go at least once and have try their dishes. We went there twice and were very much satisfied with menu.

Just had the best ghee khichdi ever! I ordered ghee khichdi and chicken leg funy fry from Pithe Bilashi. Ghee khichdi cost Rs 170, and chicken cost Rs 150. I got both at the price of Rs170, from swiggy super. The food came hot. Khichdi is just awesoms. I cannot express in words. It just hs this perfect blend of aroma, taste and color. The food tastes like home cooked khichdi. It is very healthy. Amount is also enough for one; for those who donot have much apetite, one khichdi will serve 2 persons. Chicken leg funy fry wasnot upto the mark. Though it tasted good and crunchy, 70% of the fry was just outer besan coating. Rest was the chicken, much less than a normal legpiece has. I definitely recommed this place for khichdi. You must try this. But not recommending for chicken fry.

Beautiful bengali food and a great privilege to test them all. Pricing is Avg, ambience is quite good the place is bit small. It's near Rasbihari Connector, you have to avail the Kalighat metro gate no 5,near the Bata gali from there just 2 minutes walk.

Pithebilashi- The variation of sweets. So, when I saw the stall of Pithe Bilashi at ahare bangla, I couldn't resist myself from trying their items. **Food- I ordered for •Nolen Baked Patisapta (Rs.60)- Patisapta is one type of bengali sweet dish. Basically a thin crepe made with rice flour & stuffed with different sweet fillings. Here, nolen gur is used as stuffing. The sweetness of nolen gur gives an amazing taste to it. •Gondhoraj Vetki Fish Patisapta With Red Sauce (Rs.160)- Innovative! Vetki fish & patisapta both are my favorites. & if they come in one package where the vetki fish is used as a stuffing in patisapta--- can I ask for something more than this? The richness of flavoures are just perfect. **I would like to try more items from this place. #foodforlife #loveforfood

This year Ahare Bangla was quite engaging, many known and unknown restaurants, common and uncommon dishes. But this place just stole my heart away. Pithe Bilashi introduced some real delicacy at their stall, mainly fusion dishes based on Pithe Puli. Chocolate Patisapta, Mango Patisapta, Mangso Pithe, Nolen Gurer Ice Cream and here I stopped and tried it. Nolen Gokul Ice Cream @ Rs.160 (5/5) ------------------------------------------------------------------- I've tried Nolen Gurer Ice Cream before but this one was beyond imagination. First impression was the way it was served in a clay pot with full of Ice Cream with liquid jaggery on top. First spoon tasted fabulous. The surprise was still waiting underneath that, crispy layer of Gokul Pithe that got mixed with this ice cream and jaggery made it taste of another world. Probably the best ever Ice Cream I've ever tried. It was so extremely good that I went the very next day to try it once again. Conclusion ----------------------- Pithe Bilashi have 2 branches in Kolkata, 1st in Kalighat that I think is the origin of these foods and another one is located in Sec V. Where ever it is, I'm visiting any of their branch for sure and I think you should visit as well.

It's an amazing eatery few mins walk from Kalighat mandir... It has given variation to our very own authentic pithe. Visited with family person who took order helped us with menu, very friendly and good people. Tried Chingri malai curry pithe, Gondhoraj mangsho pithe( I may mess with original name) with tasty blend of curd, kasundi sauce. Diabetic Gondhoraj ghol was very yum. Finished with Gopal pithe nolen Gur icecream. We had few more which were lipsmacking. A must try if you are in Kolkata for a foodie who loves to explore.

Bengali Delicacies: Bhojohori Manna, Kose Kosa, etc are the prime restros who serves only Bengali cusines. Pithe Bilashi the name only states that they are also known for their pithe. Well indeed they are. Baked Pithe is one of them. We had: 1. Ghee Pulao - 1plate (can serve two or one) 2. Rice (Basmati) - 1 plate 3. Parse Mach - 1 plate (contains one piece) 4. Rui Macher Jhal - 1 plate (one piece) 5. Katapona Mach - 1 plate (one piece) 6. Vetki fry - 1 plate (4 round pieces) We parcelled Baked Pithe (2 piece) Totalled to 1021.4 (including 5% GST). Still thinking how can this be possible for so much less amount this is what you get. Isn't it mouth watering?? Visit and decide for yourself.

Best mutton khichdi ever had...❤️❤️ Best place for family and friends. Every dish has its own touch. Loved the place.

Had a Chicken bhuna biriyani, Chicken khichuri and Rui er Doi Basonti there on puja 2018. Quite good in taste. Kind of homely atmosphere and food is served on earthen pots with Kolapata. Slightly high pricemark but is justified by content and arrangement. A good variety of Pithe is available.

Excellent, unique, innovative & exotic Bengali food indigenously created with true essence of Bengal... Kudos to the creative head & proprietor Nabanita Chatterjee for serving eccentric foods such as Hinghshuti kachuri, mango/chocolate patishapta, chicken/mutton patishapta, chicken/mutton Polanno & not to forget Nolen Ice-cream Gokul for desert... It simply awesome.... This is a place to visit at anytime, at any mood, at any weather....

Pitha Bilashi is located in Kalighat, South Kolkata and stands nearby Kalighat Metro Station. It is a perfect specialty restaurant to savor the authentic flavors of Bengali and Indian cuisines, an amazing combination to have on one menu. The dishes give you a sense of eating something really authentic and tasteful. The ambiance is simple and nice. The economic menu acts as a further catalyst. Pitha Bilashi is a must-visit for all the food lovers.

Had polao pahari chicken and nolen gur ice cream gokul pithe. The quantity of the polao was a bit less but the quality was good. Ghee was used in preparing it and the result was good however the chicken dish served to us was stale and even after complaining they didn't pay any heed to the problem and argued that everything is fine when it wasn't. The pithe was of course delicious but the quality has deteriorated since the first time we had it.
Debanjan Dey
Had been here twice, i.e. in Durga pujas 2018 and 2019. The Bhuna biriyani is quite good, it comes with a sweet smell of ghee. Pahari chicken was also tasty as well. In 2018 also had Khichdi and Doi rui which were good well. Nice arrangement and staff behaviour.

Heard lots about their signature dish and this is dessert.
Named NALEN ICE CREAM GOKUL
It's basically gokul pitha ,serve with nalen gur Icecream.
Tastes is really good but gokul pitha which is just under of ice cream it's Li'l bit hard..
Overall worth it item 👌

PITHE BILASHI is very famous for its different variety of pithe, which is a dessert on bengal.
I tried theit nolen gur gokul pithe and i became a fan of it. You can try it blindly. It is highly recommended from my side. It is basically gokul pithe topped with large amount of nolen gur flavoured ice cream and served with nolen gur.
Prices are reasonable according to the quality of food items.
Aniket Modak
Tried nolen gur gokul Pithe from this place... This place serves some unique and delicious Pithe... Nolen gur gokul was unique and amazing... Pithe was topped with nolen gur ice cream... The ice cream was delicious... Pithe was a bit hard... But the combination was amazing... Price was affordable

Doesnot cooperate with customers. Ordered 9 patishaptas via zomato but delivered only 3packs each having 1 patishapta. After contacting the restaurant crew completely denied about the missing orders.

Tried the Patishapta at one of the food festivals -
Butter Bhetki Fish Patisapta, Mango Nolen Patisapta - both of them tasted good, but lacking a bit of moistness.

Pithe Bilashi is an amazing place to get an introduction to authentic Bengali cuisine on your first visit to Kolkata.Their wide range of fish and chicken dishes, with spicy and pungent flavours, will tickle your taste buds. Mutton Polanno, Pahari Chicken and Gondhoraj Vetki Fish Patisapta With Red Sauce, are dishes you must try. The desserts — a combination of traditional and fusion gokul pithe pulis of Bengal — are a must-try. We loved the Mango & Chocolate Patishapta.

Tried There Bhetki PatiSapta, Nolen Gur Baked Patisapta and Nolen Gur icecream Gokul pithe at ahare bangla 2019. Nolen gur ice cream was tasted like heaven. The quality of ice cream was too good. Thats too for nolen gur baked patisapta. Amount of sweetness is appropiate and filling was so adequate. Bhetki patisapta was so smooth and fine.

Will try other item upon next visit

Wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally made it. We tried daal, rice, aloo bhaja, mocha r ghonto, paneer dhoka r dalna, mango patishapta and chocolate gokul pithe. All the items were quite unique and good to taste specially chocolate gokul pithe stole my heart and the price was reasonable as well. Only thing I didn't like was their extremely slow service.

Orders for kheer patishapta and Gokul Pithe. They tasted good but they were a tad too sweet. Also, the Gokul Pithe’s cover could have been thinner. The food was fresh and will definitely try out the savoury items.

Ordered a cheese chicken baked patisapata. Stunner actually. Loved the dish. Very well done. Will surely order again. Ps haven't visited the outlet so the rating is purely based on the food delivered

This place was bookmarked for long and finally we tried.
We ordered
Chesse chicken patisapta
Baked bhetki patisapta
Baked gokul pitha
Chesse chicken one the star to me. With the minced chicken along with coriander and the thick layer of cheese, medium spicy,it was perfect to me. The fish one was okish and nothing special.
Coming to the gokul pitha it was fully covered with kheer and a yum one. Overall a good experience and hats off to the team for such innovations.

It is located near Kalighat. Pithe Bilashi will take you to your grandparents era; the period when food were cooked with extreme love and care, no fancy techniques and ingredients, only with homely elements.

Homely ambiance make you feel close to heart. This place sells some unique fusion pithe and patishaptas. They have converted the deserts into savoury delicacies. Their stuffs are very courteous and very helpful & their service is quick and good too. Overall my experience was good. I think this is definitely a go to place for Bengali food.
Dipayan Naskar
Loved the ambience of this place. The food is completely different of what other Bengali restaurants are serving. The quality of food is top notch 👌. Do try their Bhapa Bhetki , Pahari Chicken, both will impress the most. In desserts Kheer Gokul is what we tried, I would highly recommend it. Also do try out the Gondhoraj Doi Ghol, it's one of the best in Kolkata.

Home to the famed palanna and a plethora of various veg and non veg pithe 's... Make no mistake... This is definitely a go to place for bengali food.. However the only downsize is that the portion size needs to increase keeping in tandem with the price.. Also I was outta luck and the mutton served was not upto the mark as it was the last lot.. They have promised to make up for it next time...Really appreciated that kind gesture
Foodie Gargi

Nice decor, but not a good "pithe place" at all. Need some good mothers to guide them regarding pithe preparation. And you will catch DIABETES for sure. Too much a sweet tooth!!!
I WISH I COULD GIVE IT A MINUS 1.HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD. Whatever u do don’t order from here at all. I ordered GHEE KHICHRI from here it was very spicy and when I cooled it n kept it in the fridge to have it at night it was smelling very bad. The best part is when I call the restaurant instead of saying that ok m sorry the food might have gone bad he started getting angry and argued with me that it just can’t happen. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.I ordered on Swiggy

With loads of delivery offers in the city, for my bae's sweet tooth, ordered Choco Sapta and Choco Gokul from this place as this place is known in the city.

Choco Sapta(1/10): Which shop in Kolkata puts salt in their patisapta? Who even does it? Why was it salty bruh? Like why? Who tried to put sugar in it and put salt instead? Did the chef had fever? Did a waiter prepare my order? I need an answer..for Rs 50 you feed me a Nonta Pati Sapta? Pithe Bilashi er Pithe Batam dorkar.

Choco Gokul(6/10): This was still decent at taste. Decent sweetness and chocolaty.

But, like who makes a dessert, salty?

Lovely food ordered Prasadi Mang
so, which was absolutely fabulous. Only one suggestion that your packing has to improve. The Ghee beat has spilled over in the carry bag.
Went there on our 3rd marriage anniversary lunch.
Had Butter Chicken Patisapta as starter..in one word..just amazing. Had Mutton Pollano with Gondhoraj Chicken as main course. The Pollano was sufficient for the two of us & delicious. The chiken was also good.
The staff was courteous & very helpful in choosing us the menu.
Overall a very good experience. Looking forward to visit again to try out other options.
The worst possible service! Placed an order from this restaurant via a food ordering app, after 1 hour and 3 minutes we get a call saying that the order will take another 1 hour to make. Ridiculous service. Will never order from here again. Would have given zero stars of that was an option.

Ordered khichdi, papdad and chutney via swiggy. Received khichdi which has already gone stale. It has pungent odour. And dead mosquitoes floating in the chutney.
Sadly 1 is the lowest possible rating. Our lunch is spoiled.
I called the restaurant and informed them- they said mosquitoe in chutney is impossible, we must have put it ourselves!! I mean seriously??!
Never gonna order from here.
Strongly not recommended.

Me and my brother visited this place to take a delivery on some occasion all the food was really good the service was weird I don't know why but there was nobody in the restaurant not even a server we have to call peoples to take our order I do not like the decor at all and it was really empty. the food was really good the patisapta was awsm but the Ambience should be far more better.

Previously ordered their various pithes and they were good. so recently ordered their chicken polau which taste weird and seemed they provided us from some previous day batch.
Madhurima Chakraborty
Really quirky place where Bengali food has been given a face lift and served in style. Pithe is available for 12 months hence the place score really high for the iconic Bengali sweet lovers. Also suggest the Bhetki macher pithe that surpasses the goodness of Kolkata Bhetki found through fish cutlets!

A big big big thumbs up. Superlike. I was quite skeptical before ordering because the name of the dishes were very unique. Thank God i did order from there. They serve some superb food. Like their names each food item was very unique nd too yummy. Loved every bit of it.
In frame:
Proshadi mutton- 5/5 its unique in true sense. Taste was good nd it contains two large mytton pieces with keema in it
Katachara vapa bhetki- 5/5 lovely. Try it.
Baked cheese bhetki patisapta- 5/5 again loved it.
Chicken polanno- 5/5 this is not biriyani. But tastes far better than normal biriyani. With a beautiful aroma nd unique taste it's a must have dish. Cintains one leg piece nd several small chicken cubes.
Chingri malaikari patisapta- as expected 5/5 again. If u are aprawn lover u will be more than happy
The quantity of items were also good.

So in short i strongly recommend everyone to try out these lovely nd unique dishes

I have been an ardent fan of your array of dishes as well as your entrepreneurial skills from the first day I visited the outlet near lake market. It is a request, please do not compromise on the quality of food.Last 2 occasions I had khichudi and postor bora were extremely disappointing.I ordered from a delivery app and there was hardly any taste of posto in the bora and gave terrible aftertaste of binding agent(ata/maida). Khichudi is a dish usually prepared with gobindo bhog rice. Please make sure that proper quality of rice is being used. A quality check is A MUST. I want to rate pithe bilashi 5* if I visit next time. Please see to it that I can.
Rounak Sarkar
Tried this for some patisapta and chicken polanno.
The later was quite a unique one. I didn't like it, but my friend did! It was neither Polao, nor close to biriyani. We both liked their Patisapta though.

Went There With My Friend Rounak After Having Our Lunch At The Palms, Southern Avenue On The Same Day. We Ordered 1 Chicken Pulaonno For Rs. 220/- 1 Coconut Patisapta For Rs. 40/- And 1 Baked Patisapta For Rs. 60/- Total The Bill Came Around Rs. 320/- With 5% CGST & SGST Rs. 20/- Grand Total Rs. 340/- Which My Friend Rounak Paid In Cash. Thank you Pithe Bilashi For Making Our Day Incredible.

Loved their food a couple of weeks back when I visited the place with my family. A part of the ground floor of a house turned into a restaurant has a very homely feel. Now coming to the food, they have some great dishes which are pretty unique too. We tried their -
1. Prawn Magic Funny Fry which was crispy coated with corm flakes.
2. Chicken Khichuri- Served with generous dollops of ghee and a chicken leg piece was yumm.
3. Mutton Pollanno- This resembles a Biriyani but has a subtle taste which I really loved.
4. Baked Bhetki Cheese Patishapta- The showstopper of the day. They have numerous Patishaptas to choose from, but this one is highly recommended.
5. Gondhoraaj Chicken with Ghee Paratha- This was not so great as I expected a strong flavor of the Gondhoraaj lemon, but it lacked that. Paratha was big in size and tasted good

5. Baked Patishapta for dessert- This was extremely delicious and you must end your meal with this if you have a sweet tooth. Will surely revisit.

I am really sorry to say but this restaurant has no class. They are giving overcooked fish ( totally burnt) then they were covering by giving onions and ginger.. i ordered kalia katla and gandharaj chicken.. just intolerable cooking..
The food is fantastic here. What an innovative way to create food and name them. You get the right amount for the price. The ambience and service is nice too. Everything is served in clayware. Water in terracotta or burnt mudpots. I had ordered food from this place and fell in love. But going to this place was fulfillment of that dream. The gandharaj pithe was awesome. The yellow sauce just brings out the essence of the chicken. The mango pithe was excellent - just optimum , not too sweet and not to dry. And to top it off the was the hot and sweet choco payesh . Overall a great place! 450₹ for 2. And easily accessible. Near Kalighat metro, just in the street beside Khadims located on the side of the rashbehari gariahat auto stop.

Pehle darshandhari phir goon-vichari. The aesthetics were impeccable. Ordered ghee khichudi, peyaj posto bora and gandharaj fish patisepta. For the last dish, I rate 6 out of 5 for innovation and 4.5/5 for the taste. The khichudi was simple but very tasty and more than sufficient for one person. 4/5 on Khichudi. The posto bora was a huge let down. I do congratulate the entire team for the innovativeness and the simplistic but very tasty cooking. Will order different items when I am back to Kolkata next.

Hello friends I normally never give 5 star until and unless whatever I have eaten is beyond superlative, it was ultimate... last year I have been to food feast of Newtown, where I first ate the baked patishapta of Pithe bilashi, which was good, then and there I thought of having the same from pithe bilashi, but with time I forgot but yesterday I ordered one ☝️ baked patishapta and one ☝️ coconut kheer patishapta and got ☝️ mango patishapta as zomato treat... all three were delicious, yum ,infact I cannot find the right words to describe them but I have to mention that the baked patishapta, which I ate it was not an edible item of this world, it was way beyond, all the three werea little too sweet for my taste, but nobody is complaining... I will suggest you to order yourself and check the patishapta of their’s. Will definitely try all the patishapta and maybe even order actual food just to check the quality. Friends just go for patishapta... you will not be disappointed..

P.S- Go for baked patishapta if you like desi ghee..

Till then enjoy you food... see ya

Ordered their Gandharaj Chicken Patishapta and Fish Patishapta. Both tasted very good. Gandharaj Chicken stuffing was mostly like chicken keema. What I liked most was the totally new concept of Patishapta with Chicken and fish . I mean who could think of Patishapta in this form . So experienced a completely unique preparation and thoroughly enjoyed it.

What I didn't like was that both the Patishaptas were too oily , you can see it from the pictures I have attached. I would request both the Chefs and Management to pay attention to this matter. Otherwise good.

If there's one thing i am picky about it is patishapta and sadly Pithe Bilashi disappointed thoroughly on that front. The baked nolen gur patishapta was wayy too dense and lacked the airyness of a good patishapta. The filling(way too much for one patishapta) lacked real nolen gur and there was a peculiar oily stench about the whole dish which was smothered in a cream based gravy.Still it was edible unlike the Mango Nolen Gur Patishapta.Hard patishaptas covered in mango concentrate sauce did not make for a good combination. The purely fake mango flavour irritated me to the core.We could not eat it at all.All in all it is better to take the effort and make patishaptas at home than to order from here..

I have taken foods from Pithe Bilasi Kolkata. The worst food i ever taste.. Fish was stinky & rotten.. If there had a option of 0star, i would give 0 star. All foods were soooo bad.. I really want my money back. We couldn't able to eat a single dish.

very tasty ......cud not find any fault 🙂

Only the pithe is good here. The main courses were very substandard. In fact the morola mach bati chochori had seriously rotten fish. It was black, stinky and bitter. Had to throw it out. The posto bati chchori had far too much oil and moong dal was characterless.

I wanted to try out their food for a long time but somehow wasn't able to visit the place. This time on mother's day,I packed some patishapta for my mother and of course, the rest of us. In one word,it was heavenly! We haven't had such great filled patishaptas ever before anywhere. I had bought Chocolate patishapta,Mango patishapta and Nolengurer patishapta. The best was hands down the mango one. Can't wait to try out their savoury patishaptas.

Superb experience..
I guess one of the best fusion restaurants ever in Kolkata rather in West Bengal..
Well just a suggestion..
They could work on ambience a bit..
But otherwise perfect place for fusion Bengali cuisine
Juthika Das
wide spread menu of bengali unique dishes which are hard to prepare these days..delicious food in reasonable rates and good atmosphere as well as good staff behaviour 😊

Bengalis in general, are hardnosed when it comes to their cuisine. We detest any sort of bofoonery when it comes to our own food, while happily lapping up all sorts of 'frankenstein-ish' experiments on other fares. There are fixed ground-rules like 'a luchi is a luchi only if it is made with maida', 'a paneer roll is no roll at all' , 'bharer chaa tastes better' and you can go on and on and on. So when an eatery attempts to revolutize something as passionately romanticized by people as the Patishapta, you've got to respect the bravery involved. I sampled a few outrageous ones for desert and here is what I thought:-
First is the Coconut Kheer Patishapta, which was the subtlest of the lot. It had a nice coconuty-kheer stuffing with the traditional crêpe. Ot was also the closest to the original.
The chocolate one came with a very chocolaty crêpe, with the default kheer with a dressing of chocolate syrup.. I felt that the sweetness was too overbearing and struggled to finish one.
I was not at all optimistic about the mango patishapta but was pleasantly surprised. The stuffing was kheer and mango puree. The crêpe was bright orange abs had an had an orangish flavour. This too, was leaning a slighty towards the right of the sweet meter.
The baked patishapta had a very creamy centre which spilled over to create a very rich dish. It had a very dominant flavour of ghee and was a sumptous dish.
I liked the offerings just about enough to try out their non veg patishaptas (yes, just have a look at the menu!!). On a scale of best bengali food experiments, where the Nolen gurer ice cream and the baked kobiraji cutlet occupy the two ends, Pithe Bilashi's pathishaptas come somewhere in the middle.
Thanks Sanchari Chatterjee for ordering.

The food was really good. The decor and the songs they were playing were quite unique. The dishes you find over here are all named after some winter dishes of bengali cuisine.

Discovered this place sometime back thru Zomato. Was surprised to see the variety of Pithe they serve. The place is spacious and easy to locate. Had baked fish patishapta which was unique and delicious. Mango patishapta was too sweet but was good. The more the expectation the worst it turned was the chocolate patishapta. It was something that I will never try again. The taste was amazingly bad from the patishapta to the stuffing inside it. It only tasted milkmaid and I don't know what.

The taste of the food is horrible..total waste of money and time. I would not recommend anyone to visit the place. We ordered chicken khichuri platter. The taste of the khichuri was very very sweet. The chicken was not well cooked. When we told them about the taste, they said they will modify it and will make it spicy . But second time when the food arrived it was not hot at all, they simply mixed few pieces of chillies on the top .Finally i would recommend everyone not to visit the place further . Total wastage .

Decorations and ambience was good and pocket friendly price, very innovative foods with great price, like the joint, we had gondhoraj fish patishapta which was really good, pahari chicken which was OK, doi chicken was also OK, their mango patishapta was amazing but not the chocolate patishapta.

Almost every Bengali with a sweet tooth cherishes the popular traditional Bengali sweets like pithe, patishapta, doodh pooli, gokul pithe etc. during winter, and being a (not so hardcore) Bong I too am no exception.
Thus I delighted myself with the Nolen Gur Baked Patisapta from a kiosk by Pithe Bilashi, at the Nolen Gur Sweet Festival held at City Centre Salt Lake.

The patisapta is a type of crepe-like rice pancake usually stuffed with kheer or khowa.
The baked patisapta from Pithe Bilashi was quite large in size and absolutely delicious, filled with enough nolen gur to make one want more.

Would love to try their savoury patisapta and mug puli as well, even the other Bengali items they offer like the khichuri, chicken etc. the next time I visit any of their outlets.
For fusion food, blending the concept of everyday Bengali delicacies with veg or non veg ingredients, Pithe Bilashi is a must try. 👍

Poush Parbon is synonymous with Pithe Puli Uthsav for bengalees. We get the opportunity to relish our very own beloved Pithe. And Patisapta will always be the reigning queen of all those variations of pithe. Pithe, being so close to our heart, how can PitheBilashi fail to touch our soul.Yes, not only me. PitheBilashi with its unique variations of Pithe Patisaptas can never miss to impress a bengali. Here you can relish patisapta not only as a dessert but also as a starter tHroUghOuT the YeaR!
As starter we ate...
CHEESE BAKED FISH PATISAPTA: 4.6/5.Minced fish
wraped inside crepe having a layer of cheese. It was fantastic.served with ketchup and kasundi. But the flavour of cheese was not that prominent. Being a cheese lover, this fact would make me deduct .4 marks
CHEESE CHICKEN BAKED PATISAPTA.4.7/5. Again a tempting dish. It was more spicy than the fish one. served with ketchup and kasundi. And again i have to deduct those few points because of that less cheesy feeling.
Main course...
MUTTON KHICHURI WITH COCONUT POSTO BORA,CHATNI,PAPAD,GREEN DOI: 4.7/5.we are accustomed to niramish khichuri. I tried this amish khichuri for the first time and i was fascinated by the way they have blended the khichuri with minced mutton. They also give two whole pieces of mutton. They were succulent but too small. The bora was extremely tasty n crispy.
Dessert...
MANGO PATHISAPTA: 4.9/5.Mango flavored crepe with a filling of kheere and garnished by mango gelly. When these three blends together inside your mouth something heavenly is created. But i wish they have given more mango gelly. Deducted 0.1 for that.
CHOCOLATE PATISAPTA: 5/5.Chocolate flavored crepe with kheer stuffing garnished with molten chocolate. What a treat for a chocolate lover. Speechless.
Ambience: I didn't like it. Strange black n white stripes all around. Not at all eye soothing. However the entrance area decoration was extremely praiseworthy. I wish they could have decorated the dining area with the same concept. Everything will be perfect then. The lighting of the dining area with a cute little chandelier was also nice. Giving points only for that. Dinning area 2.5/5. Entrance 5/5.
My word to all foodies especially the bengalees: Do not give this place a miss!
I am also looking forward to visiting this place for trying their other fusion dishes.

Visited this place few days back..the guy at the counter was more interested in playing games on his mobile than attending the customers..most of the bengali pithas were out of stock..tried their mug puli but was disappointed..the coconut filling was very little..ordered kheer coconut patishapta yesterday via swiggy but was again disappointed..the patishapta was undercooked.. Considering the prices I was expecting a much better food quality.

Today I visited here. It's very near to kalighat metro station. The ambience is good. Well decorated.
We ordered ghee khichdi, gondhoraj chicken with basmati rice, for dessert baked patisapta & kheer patisapta.
Khichdi was awesome. Quantity was quite good.
Gondhoraj chicken was YUMMM ..
Patisaptas were blessing....(specially kheer one)
Must try..
Totally worth it.
Wanna try more items.
Loved it
A very nice concept shop. In fact one of the most unique concept shops that I have come across, blending the traditional Bengali Pancakes and sweet Pithe with non vegetarian food, giving it the ultimate taste of fusion food.

Pithe Bilashi, with its superb variety is the actual FUSION FOOD restaurant that everyone is talking about these days.

Do go and grab a bite at this house of delectable delicacies. Will be worth the money.

Simple yet very good
Loved the food...Was out for lunch during a business trip.
I ordered ghee khichri and trust me I was not disappointed.
Taste - 4/5
Quantity- 5/5
Preparation - very good
Ambience - 3/5
Service- 4/5
When u order khichri item please be aware that quantity is too much and can be eaten by 2 person.
Don't miss kheer Gokul by any chance...It's awesome

Located very near to Deshbandhu college,a five minutes walk from Rashbehari Avenue, Pithe Bilashi is a true gem.
A concept so unique that I could not wait to try it out.So here I am writing a review just 10mins after returning from the place.
On entering one would get a Durga Puja kind of feeling with all the pretty decorations that welcome you.Inside it is quite simple, nothing much to say.
After going through the menu we decided to order-
1.Gondhoraj Fish Patisapta- This was something my mother tried and according to her it was the amazing with ample amount of bhetki fillings bursting with gandharaj flavour.
2.Chicken Cheese Patisapta- I tried this one and it simply impressed me!It had a blanket of cheese over it and the chicken stuffing was oozing with deliciousness!!!
Both of them were served with a bowl of yogurt and kasundi mix chutney and ketchup.
3.Mango Patisapta- My grandmom tried this and when she praises a traditional dish be sure it tastes perfect! She is talking about it even now!
4.Chocolate Patisapta-Got this one parcelled for my daddy and he is enjoying it right now.A thumbs up from him!yay!
5.Diabetic lassi-Well the 0.5 marks that I have deducted was for this one.Failed to impress us.
Will surely visit again!
HappyEating!

Ordered chicken khichuri for delivery and review is based only on that...delivery was prompt but tastewise was nothing great...the khichuri was average, the coconut posto bora was mostly coconut and hardly any posto...they shud have known how fussy bengalis are about their posto...the chutney and doi was missing from the home delivery...nwoadays when people are even delivering sambar and all no excuse is acceptable for not including chutney and doi from khichuri combo as mentioned in menu card...still would like to try out their patisaptas if that can improve my experience about the place
