Good tasty foods are available here. Place is very neat and clean. Ground floor is non-airconditioned part and the first floor is air conditioned. First floor is a bit congested though with limited seats. Prices of all food items are very reasonable. Their mutton biryani and kathi kababs are very delicious and tasty. Other mughlai dishes are also very delicious. Other than mughlai dishes you can have veg and non-veg thalis as daily lunch. Parathas and roties are also available. They also serve good quality egg-rolls and chicken rolls from their ground floor counter. You can taste it for a quick bite. Staffs are well behaved. But due space constraints it gets crowded at lunch time. Better keep some time in hand if you are planning to visit at noon.

Stale Chicken and Mutton biryani. It tasted stale and sour .Smelled stale when it arrived. Potato pieces had black spots on it and meat pieces were hard and over cooked. Had to throw away most of it. Well, frankly I love Saima, but today I ordered a full chicken tandoori and firni. This is the first time I got stale food delivered. Zomato denied to refund my money back. The only thing I loved is the dhaniya chutney and the salad. Maybe the resturant will improve itself. Best wishes.

I visited there few months ago but there's food service is too slow and don't serve it properly. In pujo previous year I also visited there but servicing people was too rude and behavior was very bad. Totally disappointed, suggest not to visit there anymore!!

Some days ago i was looking for some Indian lunch, when i explored this place. They may have several branches but this one is most close to my office. <br/><br/>I ordered Rumali roti and mutton kosha combo,which approximately costs around 99INR. The price was extremely cheap and the quantity was sufficient for one person. However the taste could be better. The highlight if this restaurant is definitely the low prices alongside the quality of food.

So I ordered this combo of mutton chaap with rumali roti. From the price point, Saima has done a great job in providing quality food with an affordable price tag as well. Coming to the taste, both the mutton and the rumali roti were cooked really well. However, the chaap was highly scented, making it difficult to savour the taste.

It doesn't provide any privacy, you have to eat with lots of people around you in a single table if you are not more than 2 people. Only few seats are actually available in that small space. But one thing i would like to appreciate is their taste of food is so nice also you can pay by any mode. They serve you quick and most of the staffs do friendly behavior with you. They are polite. They don't appreciate the food wastage as well 😅 so they will stop you ordering food if they find you ordering more than the capacity. It's a funny but good thing. Am giving it 4 stars just because of privacy thing otherwise it's overall good. You may go with your family also.

One of the old food joints that is still serving tasty food at a very nominal price.<br/>You will definitely gravitate towards this restaurant because of mughlai aroma you will get as soon as you are nearby.<br/>We Ordered-<br/>* Rumali Roti<br/>* Mutton Shami Kabab<br/>* Fish Fry<br/>The Shami kabab costed us Rs 40 and our whole lunch was within Rs 100.<br/>Each of these dishes tasted decently well.<br/>The rolls also looked very tempting and we would definitely try it in future.<br/>The service was quick. But don't expect comfortable seating with privacy,as it is a very congested place.

My review is solely based on my online order experience with this restaurant , that is this restaurant deliberately delivers the wrong quantity of food at least that's what happened with me every single time for three times , i received different quantity(less) then what i paid for and when inquired about the inconvenience the answer was "please sir , talk with your delivery agent , we can't help you with this matter ". So i would highly suggest to avoid ordering food online from this restaurant (at least for online ordering).

Really worst experience ever. Ordered Rumali Roti with Chicken Bharta and its turned out a very bad decision. Chicken Bharta looks like that they shredded the chicken in some kind of gravy. Seeing a different type of chicken bharta but egg was present there. Tried other dishes but not this combo from here.

Today I have ordered 3roomali roti,mutton liver(1) &mutton shammi tikia(1)...but after receiving the food i found that mutton shami tikia was smelling & taste was very bad(sour)...then I called on 2283-2643 no..but the person who received was very casual...after hearing my complain his reaction was there is no one to change the food & we didn't received any kind of complain...near about 10;:40pm he told me to go his restaurant to exchange the food...how pathetic!!!the person was very rude...I must say plz don't order any kind of food from this restaurant specially from this(chowringhee) branch...they cheated money...they don't even know how to behave with customer....it's really very pathetic!!!!

Have been ordering food from saima for years now.. It is known for its quality and value for money positioning.. But off late I have noticed, kebabs ordered through Zomato and if ordered directly at the restaurant are different in quality, quantity and taste.. I am quite amazed, but this is not a one time incident.. This has been happening regularly for the past 2 months or so.. Finally I am writing a review about it.. Hope the management looks into the matter.. Patrons are not idiots, that they won't understand the difference..

I was ordered Chicken Biriyani from their outlet. The quantity of biriyani in a packet is good enough and quality of chicken is good, but piece of potato is not upto the mark (hard, not well boiled/fried). Talking about quality, I should say it's ok. But you should give a piece of egg, without a piece of potato & egg Kolkata's biriyani is incomplete.<br/><br/>So, this is not the great or excellent but overall good, you can eat from them.

We had a dinner at saima near chowringhee. We have ordered a chicken coriander soup , a schezwan fried rice and hunan chicken dish. The ambiance is not too good nor too bad.the staffs were not so attentive to the customers need that's really ridiculous.but yeah The soup was thick and really healthy. Hunan chicken was also good and the food quantity for one is really appreciative cause two people can easily have a meal of one.the schezwan rice is ok. Apart from the over all ambience nd staff behaviour ,the food quality and taste is really nice.

Ordered a lachcha paratha and a chicken bharta from Ubereats. With 50% off i paid rs 70 for this combination.<br/>Though the quantity was fine, the food were too oily. The paratha was oily, so was the bharta.<br/>The chicken bharta was too tasteless with oil dripping from every corner of it. Also there were huge chunks of chicken and no shredded chicken as a bharta should have been.

This is a safe place to order from when you are craving for some oily/buttery/chorestrol-y mughlai chicken or mutton side dishes along with some yummy tandoori rootis.<br/><br/>Had have nearly everything on the menu since I was introduced to this place when I was in school.<br/><br/>Recently ordered chicken tikka butter masala, mutton tikia and tandoori rootis from here.<br/><br/>And they were undoubtedly the way thw8have always been. This place is known to all..<br/>I have gone there several times.. biriyani , tikka masala, rumali ruti , lachha paratha , chicken bharta , chiken tarka , mutton shami kebab i have tasted..<br/>This restaurant is good choice for biriyani, both in quality and quantity..<br/>Chicken tikka masala is delicious.. the price of it, printed in menu card is 160/-.. but u have to pay 180/- for that.. it's strange.. and u also have to wait 20 minutes extra for this..<br/>Rumali ruti is not so good.. as they prepare it so early , it becomes stale..<br/>Lachha paratha is average..<br/>Chicken bharta is not chicken bharta which they serve..<br/>Chicken tarka is average in taste..<br/>Mutton shami kebab is good enough..

I have dropped in at this place for the second time. They have been serving authentic Indian delicacies since a long time. This is enough spacious with an accomodation of fifty people.<br/>I ordered:<br/>• Chicken tikka kebab- This is one of the best tikka kebab I have ever had. It is so succulent and filled with flavours that one would just not stop before grubbing six to seven. Alas! A plate comes with only six pieces at Rs. 150/-.<br/>• Egg Biriyani- The Biriyani comes with two eggs and in a huge quantity sufficient for two. Although it was a little dry, the taste was good. It is also not very rich, therefore it can be pounced upon soulfully. (Rs.100/-)<br/>The staffs are very courteous and the service is good. Looking forward to my next visit.
