Review Hoppipola - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Been here last weekend. It's an amazing place to hangout with your pals .the ambience is quite refreshing. This place offers a game zone having carom,cards,foosball among many others. The happy hour starts from 4pm so make sure you dont miss it. Happy hour has some unique but extravagant collection of cocktails to choose from. Coming to the food, all of it that we ordered were amazing. I would specially mention the chicken spaghetti in alfredo sauce. It was YUMMMM.... we also had the bbq chicken wingers which was basically chicken wings in schewan sauce. And lastly we had the spring chicken sizzler which was also a good choice for the health conscious peeps. We tried few drinks namely screwdriver,cosmopolitan, shelled apples ... It was a great evening spent.. surely wanna go back sometime soon (for the spaghetti:p)

Awesum Cocktails n delicious food! Great place to hang out and have fun...staff was good and cooperative...bird in the cage,long island were good cocktail picks ..prawn n pizza was just superb!!!

No doubt good place to hang out, cocktails r superb, overall perfect place for youth. Food option isn't that better. Keep some special dishes like 'LASAGNE' 'PANCAKES ' etc.

ok.. The music was way too loud for my taste, may be others liked it. Food was good. but unfortunately they did not considered the amount of customers they might get on navami night. Almost all beers were over by the time I placed my order. Tried few cock tails, and they were really good. Over all it was a great experience.

This is our happy place near to my college.... Everyday we visit here chaye spicy puffed rice(jhalmuri) hi kiu na khani ho 😂 and the drink was just @99 .... I love you hoppi 🤗 planning to visit soon... I had cut a star coz its too dark and I can't click insta worthy pictures

The pizzas and the ooey gooey fries are just out of this world. Tastes amazing. One can definitely visit this place just for the pizzas and the fries.

We had white sauce pasta with French fries which was marvelously tasty and we had brezzers which was chilled and fresh.

This place is fun. I almost go every month. if you talk about the price I would say affordable and plz if you go there plz play there bar games and plz try there Old monk Chicken and Chicken Drumstick.

I went there with my friend, she picked it for us. When I entered I found it very dark but slowly I started enjoying the ambiance. We ordered couple of dishes mostly starter. Verdict: I went during afternoon time so I couldn’t really figure it out between happening place or casual hangout bar.

Situated inside mani square it's a nice place to chill out with friends. I totally like their food and cocktails. Would definitely advise everyone to try their pizza, pasta, French fries.. Also i love the cocktails served here. I mostly have sangria but they have lot of innovative cocktails too. Love their presentation as well. The only drawback is the extra loud music which makes it difficult to talk, i guess that should be kept at a normal level so that people can talk to each other comfortably instead of shouting.

Loved their ambience, the dim lighting is soo beautiful, well I've tried Screwdriver n cosmopolitan both were perfect for me. Their pizza was good enough with the super crisp crust but when it comes to pizza I think according to the ammount their's prices are little high. <br/>Otherwise the chicken drumsticks, drinks n pizza were so good in taste. <br/>For ambience I wanna give 5 stars <br/>Their customer service is also very convenient. I have orderd cantberry juice, pine apple juice and chicken lollypop and pizza from this outlet of hoppi. The behavior of the waiters were not good. They don't have proper coordination among them selves.. The have done lots of mistake in billing and communicating.. It's not at all expected.

Hoppipola has been one of our favourite go to place. This outlet of Hoppiopola is located at the topmost floor of Mani Square beside Haka. The staffs are courteous and the service is pretty decent. The ambience is alluring, the place is decorated with beautiful yellow lights, hanging plants. The music sets the perfect mood for party and the impressive part; the lighting changes with time, in the evening it gets more dimmer with party lights and sets up the mood to booze and party. <br/><br/>With such nice ambience, their Power of 9 menu is a bonus. From that food menu we ordered the Amritsari Chicken Lolly. It tasted really good with the green chutney. From the drinks menu we ordered various drinks. The plus point is they even have indoor games like Foosball and Carrom to keep the customers hooked up.<br/><br/>Would highly recommend this place for their variety of options and reasonable pricing (Power of 9). A great place to hang out with friends accompanied by board games and great music.

Aglio olio pasta is just plain boiled spaghetti. Orange Frappe is not drinkable with straw and neither was I served a spoon. Mushrooms were kinda tasteless. Ain't coming back here, again.

Visited this outlet a number of times. They have a good price vs portion ratio and the food is delicious. They have happy hours almost every day though the hours vary. They have a large seating capacity with great ambience and music and seperate smoking zone. We had: the non veg platter, chicken popcorn, masala fries, wingardium laviosa(shake), chicken momos, jerk chicken pizza ,and a number of drinks. Overall a satisfactory experience. Recommended.

Went here to have some drinks with my friend on a Monday afternoon. The place was decently crowded, and this place offers pretty good prices during their happy hours.<br/>I liked their ambience, not too loud which is good. Tried their Cosmopolitan, Whisky sour in drinks and Spicy Buffalo Wings which we ordered twice. Just a perfect starter to go with drinks.<br/>Overall looking forward to visit again, and try other items.<br/>P.S - They charge 10% service charge on Drinks.

This time we ordered the do it yourself bucket. It's a fun thing to try with your friends and you can make your cocktail with the things provided. Hoppi is always one of the best places to go if you're looking for happy hours.

Lovely ambience. Courteous staff. Nice decoration and an atmosphere of joy. The place has been on my list since long.<br/>A little overpriced menu considering the food items but they are equally tasty. Quantity is also great.<br/>Ordered Chicken Lollipop and some cocktails. Loaded nachos were also great supplemented by Tibetian Momos. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Great food. Drinks were amazing in taste. Lively atmosphere.<br/>Happy fooding!!

Music was way too loud. I can't blame, it's a pub so normal but the ambience isn't for me. And people who want to have a conversation over food like me, might not like the place. Communication failure and what not. We had Garlic Pepper chicken which was not upto the mark as well. Mocktail was decent in taste.

We had Chicken Alfredo sauce pasta and Tibetan chicken momo. The taste was good but not extra ordinary. Could have been better. The ambiance was soothing though.

Penne arrabiata and chili paneer was not upto the mark. Pasta was soggy and it did not go well with the pasta. Felt like the sauce was prepared before and overcooked pasta was added later and mixed. Chili paneer was not Chinese. Paneer did not have the chili taste. Sad.

The Ambiance is beautiful.great for a beautiful date or a casual hangout. They have different seating arrangement which was quiet attractive. There are ample of games one can play while chilling out.the staff was very courteous and helpful. I went during the happy hours . I ordered a hookah, old monk, pizza in thin crust (also had good cheese and chicken topping) but the size is dissatisfactory. Coming to the chicken fritters it was really tasty .great munchies for a drink .also the Mayo dip was great. Now comes the tibetan Momo .I was a great deal. The Momos were extremely soft and plumpy. Had good chicken stuffing and the dip was heavenly delicious. It was a fish sauce dip. The best dip I have ever had. Overall I loved the place.

I loved the aura of this place it's full of engery and well furnished perfect for you to chill with yours friends or cousins.<br/>We had ordered the Jerk Chicken Pizza which compliments well with beer but I personally like my pizza base to be little thicker.<br/>Chicken Triology was well presented.It had six chicken skewers paired in three different colours.Among them I loved the white marinated one more.It even had a dip which was going well with the dish (Highly Recommend)<br/>Surely visiting again.

This place has a very nice ambience, nicely decorated and plays light music. A variety of cocktails are available in the menu. Happy hours are perfect for hangouts with alocohol. Only Kingfisher (in beer) is available in happy hours which is a little disappointing. Otherwise the food is good and service is quick.

So we had whisky and Bacardi and also a blueberry mint hookah here, most were reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly. And the food was amazing. Bacon wrapped chicken, Jerk chicken pizza and the tiramisu, Excellent stuff .

Yesterday we visited there. We were 5 in numbers. So were looking for a comfortable place where we can sit for longer and one of the staff very courteously helped us. We were into happy hours so we took 1 LlIT, 1 caprioska and 1 whiskey followed by prawn chips. Later on we ordered harrisan chicken pizza, pan tossed chilli fish, amritsari chicken lolly, pasta arabiatta followed by 3 tequila and 3 kamikaze.. all of the dishes were very tasty and sumptuous in quantity. Amritsari chicken lolly needs improvement as it was full of ajwain and taste a bit odd .. overall experience was superb. Wish to visit again. :)

They never have 650ml Kingfisher available in happy hour. Today they are saying they dont have 330ml bottle also. The only beer they will serve is draught beer glass that is Rs129 for 250ml plus service charge extra. Very bad name for speciality group whose shares are already in a mess.

Hoppipola is a place where you will find great ambience , lovely food, drinks, cocktails..The stuffs are courteous and helpful.. We have tried Jerk Chicken Pizza, Smoked BbQ Chicken Wings , Classic Martini etc.. The pricing is a little bit high..Such a Nice decorated place with full of entertainment definitely deserves to visit once.

I've been to the Hoppipola outlet in Acropolis, I really enjoyed my experience there and when I heard that there would be one opening in Mani Square too, I was looking forward to a similar experience.<br/>And I have to say, I did enjoy the experience a lot. The ambience is like nowhere else, although the elevated stools were a challenge to get up on, because I'm not that tall, I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the staff, and eating the food. Went there during the happy hours and order from the Joy of 9 menu card. The food, crispy fried chicken had a delightful crunch to them and a juicy interior to match. The ambience too was perfect for spending some time alone with a loved one or with friends. I enjoyed my experience there and would recommend to any passing stranger. You should definitely go and try it out.<br/><br/>Happy Feasting!

It's a nice place for groups staffs are okayish the one thing I din like was they continously ask for I'd proof the quality of the food was tasty without any doubt but not at all pleased with the quantity it shud be improved I felt the hookah price was a bit higher but I won't recommend it for food cz compared to the price the quantity is very less but without any doubt it's tasty the smoking zone is quite big and has a seating arrangement good place for drinking and having fun

Nice place to have your evening chill. Ambience is very good, music a lil bit loud but fine collection they have. Drinks there are good quality @ much affordable price compared to other pubs, specially in happy hour scheme. I like the LIIT there very intriguing. Also wines there are quite good. But I didn't find the starters there much fascinating. Overall, this place is a nice shot for gathering some good ol' friends & have chill eves.

Absolutely one of my favorite place in North Kolkata. The ambience is amazing. The place is cosy with attentive staffs. Visited the place numerous times on different occassions and e everytime the vibe of this place stays lit. Pocket pinch is on the higher side though but food tastes awesome here. It offers a wide variety of food and drinks. They have a separate smoking area and some board games.

Yesterday we visited here. What a lovely place it was.the staffs were very friendly.and the ambience was awesome.happy hours was good.cheap and value for money. This was my first visit to Hoppipola of Mani Sq. Mall. We were pleasantly surprised as during these peak hours of late evenings (around 8 PM) the pub was moderately crowded. As a result, we, me along with a friend, had a four seater entirely to ourselves. Ambience was not at par with that of the branch located at Acropolis Mall, but wasn't that bad either.<br/><br/>Since it was a Wednesday, the happy hours lasted till 8PM and so without much ado, we quickly ordered 2 Long Island Ice Freeze (read LIITs), each for 199 INR and a plate of Fish & Chips. Hoppipola's LIITs are full of ice with just 75 mL of liquid, hence the name.<br/><br/>I usually choose this as I do not like the taste of alcohol. We were expecting standard LIITs but what we got tasted no different than the pepsi with a dash of lime we had at the theatres. I did not get that warm feeling that accompanies while consuming LIIT. I seriously doubt the presence of even 1 mL of any liquor in the abomination they served. If this is what customers are getting in the name of happy hours, probably the managment should discontinue happy hours and stop misleading us. This is nothing different from cheating us.<br/><br/>Now coming to the Fish & Chips. The fish was well fried and was very succulent. What was missing in it was a hint of tanginess. This could have been compensated by serving spicy mayo with the dish, but what we got as dips were plain mayo and plain greenpeas dip- both of which were very bland and did not compliment the fish fries in any way.<br/><br/>So overall I am not looking forward to visit the branch in the near future even if starving like a maniac.
