Review Cafe Coffee Day - Kolkata (Calcutta)

The cafe is well maintained with about 10 tables for seating. The staff is helpful. The Cafe Americano is good. The cheese chili toast and the garlic bread were not very fresh but okay. The cafe is air conditioned and we'll organized.

You can enjoy the awesome paintings inside the shop.. A very good place for hangouts.. Coffee is slightly costly but tasteful.. Also various kinds of snacks available there..

One of favourite evening hangout places.They have several combo meal offers running all year round.The place is hygienic and staff polite.The quality of food is good.Its located between Santoshpur Mini Bus stand and Jora Bridge stoppage.

Cafe coffee day on its own has very good service and quality of of food. The main concern here is that the location given is incorrect. The owner should change it asap for benefit of people.

First of all, it is right up on the main avenue... not in some hidden alley... so, scores some easy points there. The place is of decent size... so, when you enter the place with someone special on an evening, chances are you'll get yourselves a nice little table and enjoy some of the best coffee you'll ever come across. There are restrooms and the ambience is nice... the staff always willing to help and make you feel comfortable. I won't waste time writing about the coffee, you just got to have some of that in your lifetime ! Overall, if you are looking to spend some quality 'coffee' time, Santoshpur CCD is just the perfect place !

Excellent location and awesome food. Price is at par with CCD standards but the seats and ambience inside the cafe can make you sit there for hours. An ideal place for friendly chats, small parties as well as business meetings. Moreover, staff members are extremely polite and co-operative.

The place has ambient atmosphere...along with the best beverage..I LOVE COFFEE....the USP are the funny hangings u find all around..like HARDLY DAVIDSON or LINE OF CONTROL. TRESPASSERS WASHES DISHES....u will enjoy the place

If you want to spend some quality time with your partner, friends or even alone you can visit here. Price of little bit expensive but I think anyone can afford it. Free WiFi is also available.

They cheat their customers<br/><br/>Santoshpur CCD, Kolkata<br/><br/>We were charged an exorbitant Rs. 466 for 2 regular cappuccinos. We weren't given a bill at that point. When we asked for a bill, we were given one which included 3 'Axe Signature', and charged Rs. 165 for them. When we asked the server about it, she tried to explain away 'Axe signature' as extra espresso shots for strong coffee. She couldn't explain why espresso shot was called 'Axe signature' in the bill and why we were charged for 3.<br/><br/>Moreover, when we asked for a revised bill, the bill amounts of both did not tally. She agreed to give back Rs. 66, i.e. the difference in amounts of the 2 bills without any proper justification and without rectifying the bill. So an amount of Rs. 143 is a fraud commissioned by CCD. Please refer to your CCTV footage.<br/><br/>We could not even enjoy our coffee because of this misconduct.<br/>To protect your reputation do take stringent measures against such fraudulent behaviour.<br/><br/>Awaiting your action.

A nice place with cozy ambience.. And a great place for chilling.. I recently have been there with my friends.. In a rainy or winter evening you can sit outside as well.. I love the ambience.. Food was good but not up to the mark.. And the rate is also high..

But CCD didn't cancel the order but rather served some foul food from their old stock. Ordered 2 grilled chicken kulsha but they delivered a small portion of half eaten kulcha. The garlic bread was also cold. Threw away the food. Happy Independence day.

I ordered Alphonso mango milkshake, cocoa cookie milkshake and crunchy frappe.<br/>Crunchy frappe was okayish, nothing special! Cocoa cookie milkshake i didn't like much! But Alphonso mango milkshake was yummy and I liked it very much!

Location wise this outlet is good and spacious as well. Remains less crowded most of the times, also they don't play loud music like most of their outlets.<br/>

This outlet is located near Jora bridge, Santoshpur which is very easy to locate. Ambience wise, it is very nice. I love the cartoon work on the walls. They have also an outdoor seating area for 4 people. Its a good place to hangout . One could have serene eve over a cup of coffee. Though is a issue on parking as its on the main road which makes it convenient to find.

I had ordered roasted chicken cheese multigrain bread. But , the order was delivered without cheese. One pays 200bucks for chicken and bread. How can a person gulp it down? Pathetic restaurant in santoshpur. One can see the pic too. Such restaurant then give 50%off?

This is the wrost smoked chicken I ever had in ccd..bread was change no veggies inside not even roast...I really upset about it.............

Had ordered some dessert, let me start off by saying this wasn't my first CCD pastry. However, appalled at having received Rotten pineapple in pineapple pastry. Absolutely atrocious. Not expected from CCD

Pathetic and worst quality order ever recieved. Ordered. Coffee and pastry but shocked to see the quality they provide in turn of offering 50% . This is really a very bad technique to fool customers. The coffee tastes so bad and its colour too was very dark, not at all seems the thing one can expect this by having it at the restaurant. Talking about the pastry , even a road side cafe could give better than that. They were not fresh<br/>The whole evening get spoiled. I have a fear after having it if it could ruin my health. Kindly don't give any offer if you want to provide such things. Don't compromise with consumer health please.

Place is easily located near Sulekha. Good place to hang out with friends. Ambience wise placw is okay type. Will back again with friends. Enjoy my time there.

Whenever think for some snacks & sweet beverages, Cafe coffee day comes first in my mind. This time from different outlet,located in santoshpur. I took home delivery of sandwich burger & combo strawberry milk shakes. Worth brand,great taste & packaging was so nice<br/><br/>Nxt order Rasmalai smoothie & samosa,taste is heavenly good💓❤

Been there a number of times at different outlets. It's like any other CCD outlet. I used to like this place some 2-3 years back but over the years the food quality has gone down and the price has increased.The coffee however I don't like that much.<br/>The new offer is good. Two shakes for 147 bucks. The shakes are available in 4 flavours. Kesar pista, Chocolate, strawberry and mango. The shakes are good to taste.

I ordered bogo offer on milk shake but I only got one bottle of milk shake

Inspite of saying no veggies in my sandwich u people have given. N no tandoori mayo sauce inside it. Horrible service of Zomato all the time. Never give gud service n serve gud food.

A nice CCD with a decent open space to sit with your group or friend and chat your heart out. CCD menus are all the same so no surprises there. What matters is the place and ambience.

There is no negative marking option on zomato thats why I rated 1.<br/>CCD is always my one of the most favorite QSR. <br/>So ordered 2 Veg Crunch classic Burger and one chicken Afghani Biriyani.<br/>1st lets describe the So called crunchy Burger.<br/>2 flattened Bun and in the filling there were some massed potatoes and 2-3 small chunk of tomato & onion. I don't want to describe how it tasted. <br/>I'm fan of CCD Burger, but I don't know if I'll order it in future. Specially from Santoshpur outlet.<br/>What the people of this outlet think about the buyer? Are all stupid? Same on CCD...

This outlet of CCD is located near my home. And is pretty nice for takeaway food. Their, Chicken Tandoori Sandwich and Chicken Smoked sandwich is must TRY!<br/>Also I tried the new Milkshake ( Buy 1 Get, 1 Free). And it was great too.<br/><br/>The, staffs are pretty good. And the ambience is soothing.

Is there any negative marking Zomato?? If not...then just one is enogh for this outlet. Poor service, cheap presentation...it is not value for money at all. Althogh its just next to my door, I visited twice here. And the experience was awful. We ordered Devil's Own. In the picture they present a glass topped with whipped cream..but when I get my glass there was highly one spoon of cream!! And they charged almost two hundred bucks for it. Horrible. Actually its just a cheap business policy to attract coustomers by uploding some awasm pictures of food. But when you will order it in your table you will get the actual one, which is not at all relatable with the picture's one. Will never recommend it to anyone. Better to visit the outlet of Sulekha More. But never to this place.

Sweet and small cafe with budget, high on pocket. The burgers and sandwiches are delicious but afterwards the tax is added it’s actually too high. The cappuccino is great and the cold coffee with ice cream is a sinful temptation. It’s a good experience.

There is nothing much left for me to speak on CCD's food or about coffee. what I can say i love those cartoon work hanging on the wall. and the atmosphere was good in the room.

Lovely decor, great food, and nice staff. Going to cafe coffee day has become a feeling like coming to home. Always a great experience and the hot cocoa gourmet is now a favourite.

Just went for two cafe frappes on this Ashtami night.. found it normal as any other CCD outlets in kolkata.. hence going for an average rating.. :P

Just visited here today. We ordered two frappé and a spinach & corn sandwich.... I told them before placing the order to mentain the quantity of whipped cream in the top of the frappé. As I experienced different quantity of cream in different outlets!!...Though they promise to serve the best to us....anyway. When I got the glasses in my table there was hardly some cream there.Next time I will surely carry a microscope to find the creams in devil's own or these newly launched frappés. Honestly don't give advertisements if u can't serve the proper one to customers..Try to mentain your quality CCD because you are not giving us a free service. We pay for our glasses....this is one of the cheap outlet of CCD...don't know what they do gain by saving whipped cream in freezer..

Service is worst. Ordered regular cappuccino and smoked chicken sandwich. But they didn't tell it comes as combo, rather took separate order. After looking at the menu when I found it, they just replied that its not their duty to tell it when you have ordered both but if you have ordered the cappuccino or the sandwich only they would have told about the combo. COMPLETE MIS-SELLING/ CHEATING.

The food is good but a little overpriced. The ambience is outstanding. The service is good too. Smoked chicken sandwich is a must! They don't make sandwiches too spicy.

Located a few meters off Santoshpur Minibus stand to the right if you are coming from Jadavpur side. This CCD is quite spacious and adorned beautifully with cartoonish posters on the walls. The staffs greet while you get in and also bid good-bye once you leave. Liked the gesture.<br/><br/>Have spent here many a times with friends and family. This place is most of the time less crowded thus gives you freedom to stretch long and enjoy the moment.<br/><br/>Food is just like any other CCD, exorbitantly priced unnecessarily unless you chuck out all the add-ons.<br/><br/>Devil's own, Kapi Nirvana and Cool Blue without mint are my anytime favz. From my first coffee with 'her' to the countless days spent lazing on their couches, ordering hot cups of Latte with Smoked Chicken Sandwiches. CCD has in a way symbolized the journey we took from being just friends to soulmates and beyond! Among the various options they offer, their Cafe Latte is my all-time favourite (with extra sugar)! Next comes the chocolate brownie with hot chocolate and vanilla ice-cream, along with cafe frappe. Among the sandwiches, both the Tandoori chicken sandwich and smoked chicken sandwich are satisfactory. The prices are however too high for the quantity they serve, keeping them in line with the present-day cafe tradition. If you're willing to spend quite a bit for a relaxed chat with friends, or just a rough evening of solitude, this is the best place for you. And as for love-struck idiots like me, it might become the single most important place when you look down the memory lane with your better half. As they say, 'A Lot Can Happen over a cup of Coffee!'.

On 5th March i went to the Cafe Coffee Day at 4 pm  i am order a Hot chocolate and they are served the dish in 15 min. The serving is good but if they are added some chocolate chips then it taste better. The music played softly is good for the customer it refresh the mind of the customer also but while i waiting for my hot beverage that is my best drink.

Am always a fan of ccd's. It's a good ambience for meeting up with friends or business clients. Their quality is good and taste is good too.

CCD has its new ways of tricking people to bill more amount than they actually desire. The latest I heard "Sir we do not have regular cups for cappuccino hence you've to order for the king size one". Its actually fascinating to see the kind of alibis these people come up with and if u charge them asking why they would decently answer that the bill has been made and it can't be changed. I'm actually astonished that such a well known chain plays such cheap tricks with customers looking to sip some coffee and chat with friends/family. Attendants aren't at all well behaved. I believe the management needs yo deal with such people if they wish to continue the name of this chain.

Being close to my old office, I have been to this outlet quite a number of times. Compared to all the other CCD outlets, I found this one to be much humane and satisfactory. Although every CCD serves the same items, there was still something different about the egg wrap and the cappuccino I used to order. The staff is quite courteous, and actually wait for you to place your order - not push items they need cleared off their shelves. All in all, a satisfactory experience.

Nice place.. for evening snacks.. ccd always is on the costlier side.. but its a cool place to hangout.. service is very friendly.. very easy to locate and very smooth place to hangout..

Ccd Santoshpur is located near jora bridge and Frenchloaf outlet. Went there couple of weeks ago... Interior is same as other ccd. Service was fast. Took one devil's own.. served well.

It's a very well known place..specially to have some addas with friends..the place was nice..and so was the ambience. We had a sizzle dazzle brownie in hot chocolate.. it was the best..followed by a non veg combo including a smoked chicken sandwich with a regular cappuccino. The sandwich was more or less OK and so was the cappuccino...then lastly it was the most popular cold coffee that is Devil's Own..with chocolate vanilla ice cream. So combining all of them the best one was the brownie.

This place is very calm and quiet, seems far away from the city noise. Waiters are very helpful. One can sit here for a long time, taking a sip of the gourmet chocolate or devil's own or having chovo hola, which i find great.

Ccd-The quintessential neighbourhood coffee shop..dropped in for a quick sip n bite. The combo offers are decent. Had a cappuccino and cheesy bites combo. Coffee was hot and the snack was fresh, hence no complaints. They are trying to jazz up the menu a bit by adding new dessert options, however it's high time that they should go in for a complete makeover.

This CCD like all others is a part of a big conglomerate and hence every food item, décor, sitting arrangements are standardized. This is a spacious CCD with well organized staff near sontosh jora bridge. The place is clean. Their irish coffee and iced eskimo are delicious.

This is the closest CCD frm my house. frequently i have visited this outlet. service is prompt and waiters are well mannered. <br/>ambience is nice. I love their kappi nirvana and garlic bread. alsp they have outside sitting arrangements. <br/><br/>After a hectic day u will surely enjoy this place with a cup of cold coffee.

Service is a big factor for me when it comes to CCD. It was good. They took the order professionally without pushing too much of cream, ice cream as top up in each order. Delivered quickly and kept ambience nice and clean. Music was peaceful making everything for a perfect productive discussion.

This is 5 mins walk form our place and no wonder we are very frequent visitor of this cafe. Obviously it's like any other ccd in decor and menu, but staffs are really polite, helpful and courteous. My five year old just loves this place as they make a customized chocolate shake for them.

It's a place literally at my doorstep. So quite a nice n easy getaway for me on mundane afternoons. Been there only twice, but both times was carried away by the cosy ambience, the warm rich coffee, accompanied with some sweet or salty treats. Interiors are very warm and welcoming. It's a really nice place to just hang out n talk, for long hours, or simply spend a quiet time alone with a book.

It is situated near at my home. I went there with my sister ... We ordered 1 cup of coffee with samosa, 1 brownie and a strawberry milkshake. Foods are good in taste... But their % of Vat Tax is too high.. Its very expensive ....

Cafe Coffee Day is an over-rated and ubiquitous cafe chain, found in almost every neighbourhood in Kolkata. Easily the default choice for most casual meet-ups, it is far from the best. The ambience is just-about-satisfactory, and the staff, while not usually rude, aren't very helpful. Menu offerings are occasionally out-of-stock, which is bewildering in a cafe of their popularity, especially since the one in my neighbourhood is not often frequented. The quality of the sandwiches and other food options, is severely on the decline. The baked goods and pastries taste extravagantly sweet and peculiarly like raw wheat. However, I presume I will continue to go to CCD irregularly for their variety of drinks, which meet quality standards. The Santoshpur branch is never crowded, so it provides a quick and tranquil escape from the ruckus of daily life. This place is on the overpriced bandwagon, and I would probably never enter again if they did not conveniently accept Sodexo Meal Vouchers. The only option here which offers value-for-money is the Belgian Choco Shot, priced at Rs 25.<br/> An update, dated June 18, 2018: The staff at this cafe don't speak English or Bengali, thus often causing customers to resort to sign language to communicate with them. Stay away from this place. The quality of the drinks have also deteriorated, and the menu is at its absolute worst.

Have been to this CCD many a times. Mostly quiet and not buzzing with people. You can have your private moment here and also a great place to have a chat with ur loved ones and ur frndz. Delivery time is good, very well decorated cafe. Loved it every time I visited.

Nothing different from a usual CCD. However based on the location its not crowded & often almost empty. Good ambiance and usual delivery time.

The CCD over time is getting worse and the service pattern is also degrading. As its near my place.... initially was a good place to hang out with friend and family but now days as I visit there I don't get the initial ambiance that was there. The service takes too much of time to deliver the stuff. The no of peoples visiting there has also decreased a lot and all has the same review about the place ..its not only that this CCD but most of the CCD in this south Kolkata region are suffering with the same problem. I personally would recommend u not to visit the place and waste a hand full of money.

This place is just round the corner from my place, and when the spouse and I long to lounge in an environment that is not our home, we hit this place.  Since this place is not too crowded, this is a favorite lounging place for love birds too. The food and the beverages are as per standards of the other CCDs around town. Nothing special to mention. Recently however they have reduced the hours of operation which makes them lose business from early morning breakfast clients or late night coffee buffs.

Near to my home..Its a nice place to spend your day with your dear ones..

CCD in general has worsened over the past few years. There was a time when I used to go to ccd with my friends everyday. But now I dont know what has happened to them. Their chocolate fantasy cake was once my favourite. But now it tastes like raw wheat dough. It has been quite a few months that I dont go to ccd anymore. Its not worth at all.

Why you must visit this place? Because it would mostly be empty or less crowded :)<br/>The people would always welcome you with smile but they would also give you why-are-you-still-here looks the moment you are done eating, unlike most other ccds. <br/><br/>I once bought coffee powder from here and the man at the counter explained me in details about the powder, which was very sweet of him. Food is just the same as every other ccd. I think the donut is not properly made/ served here. About the coffee, my friends always have admired all the coffee at every ccd, and since I don't drink coffee I cannot comment much. The brownies however are amazing, everywhere :P<br/><br/>Their service is quick. I am not a big fan of the newly introduced egg wrap since they taste just like the egg bhurji Mommy makes back home. The choco shots are nice and must be tried. I would suggest you to avoid the mango shots though. Visit for a quiet and nice time with friends :)

I lovd CCD...A good place to hangout with friends. There was no such hangout place at Santoshpur. Ambience is not that good but not so bad also.
