Indian and Western food at one place. Reasonably priced and a wide variety. Can't go wrong with the Punjabi menu and the rest like pizza are also good. A nice variety of ice creams and sundaes to round up the meal
Pure Vegetarian restaurant and consistent mentained taste and quality. The main attraction is the Tawa chapati, rarely available in fine dinings of this Locality. All other dishes also put a mark. The service is satisfactory and staff are mannered.

Food taste and quality was really good. Ambience and staff service was also nice. Worthy enough to visit and have hygienic and delicious food here.

Good and tasty food, going there for last several years AND the best part is that the food at Girnar is more safe than home food! Never had any trouble after dinner at Girnar.
Girnaar the restaurant on M.G. road at bada bazaar is part of hotel Himalay popular with traders and businessmen who visit Kolkata for business in and around this area. I have had most of my meals here while in Kolkata and it was not because it is the best but for accessibility and convenience.

Passed a pleasant hour's respite from the hustle and bustle of Bara Bazar in this cool and quiet Haven. I recommend the lunchtime Thali which was tasty and plentiful and excellent value.
