This is one of my favorite cafe where I can chill out with my friends after my office. Always the ambiance and quite good decoration attacks me everytime. Just love the ambiance most. As you know Pizza is very famous in cafes, Well, I tried their chef special Pizza. It comes with so my veggies and cheese and very large in size also. The taste is just perfect and awesome and bread is just think like thin crust pizza. Perfect combination of english viggies, corns, pizza sauce, Jalapeno and so much cheese are just awesome. Chef's tasty handmade pizza will drool you. Check out here. ▪︎Now come to the ambiance, with a big sitting and separate arrangement you can hangout, enjoy or spend your time here with your friends, family and colleagues. This is the perfect place to do adda. They have a private room also where you can privately enjoy your foods. The Green Grass wall decoration is very attractive and increases the entrance beauty. All the foods are in just pocket friendly budget and staff are very well trained and friendly. . Again another review from me; ▪︎|| Cottage Cheese Chelo ||▪︎ . If you are near Girish Park area, then you should go at Aqua Java Café. Because this beautiful dish named Cottage Cheese Chelo comes from the cafe. This signature dish prepared by them as very tasty and delicious. The rice is prepared with Indian spice like in very low oil and ghee and butter flavored with English veggies. It's comes with cheese butter masala paneer grilled tikka with a beautiful and attractive garnishing. The both of this combination is just awesome. This is so beautiful and yummy that drool you immediately. Their nice food preparation and peace decoration both will give a happiness ambiance at your hangout times. You can enjoy here with you friends, colleagues and family members also. This is a familiar restaurant and their staffs are very well behaved.

I had been there for my birthday treat with my friends. It is located very near to the Girish Park Metro Station, above Dominos. Ambience - It has cosy seating arrangements that set your mood for Hookah and also can accommodate good numbers. They play good music too. Food - Had Hookah and Pizza. The Hookah was done well. However the pizza could have been made better. Service - The staffs were modest and their hospitality is good. Overall, a nice place to have Hookah with your buds. 😇

Nice place to chill out with your friends and family. Near Girish park crossing so easily accessible from any place in kolkata. Food and drinks are delicious. Some nice flavors of hookah with coal change of just 30 Rs so affordable as well. Must their hookah combo. Staff is very friendly and well behaved.

Pure vegetarian. Their homemade thin crust pizza is very good. Good for hookah.. cozy interiors. However, they don't serve refreshments after meal and do not often accept wallet payments.

Refusing to serve regular drinking water saying it's their policy. Don't know since when the restaurant got bigger than the government. Really disappointed​ by the rigid management. You just lost a very loyal group of customers over water.

It's a very good place near shyambazar. This place with your friends all family. Food was very tasty e the spring roll was very good and the the salad was very yummy.

Got in here for a quick snack only to regret my decision of choosing such a place when I had a wide variety of options amidst the northern part of the city especially when the place is named Hatibagan. Their service was not upto the mark and they were quite slow. Infact we had to remind them continously to bring our dishes. They delayed it to such an extent that the garlic bread turned out to be cold. There was loud music and the place was not properly ventilated to exhaust out the smoke that was coming out from the hookahs. All in all I would not suggest this place for a quick snack but maybe can be chosen for a hookah.

Aqua Java is situated in Vivekananda Road pure veg food joint they serve various varieties of hookas staffs are very good. Earlier they used to have Zomato gold but now they are no more with Zomato

I visited this place quite a few times... This is perhaps the best place for having hookha... But only hookha... Their food and drinks are pretty average... Also most of the staffs are not well trained... Last time I had their Crispy Chilli Babycorn which was too salty... Choco Lava Cake and it was very good... Kiwi Spring Water Hookha was decent... Although it was choking frequently... Pocket pinch is quite high here...

This is a pocket friendly lounge, mostly visited by college goers, and one of the limited lounges available around girish park. Went in for dinner to this place. This is situated at the top of Dominos on the first floor. Badly lit and nothing as for the ambiance. Tried what our server receommeded, a chef special pizza, which was such a big thin crust pizza with decent toppings and cheese. Along with it ordered a malai panner tikka which took almost an hour to come and was so bad, Just big pieces of raw pannner with no malai nor any marination, regretted myself for ordering that. Didn’t have to pay for it thanks to Zomato Gold, but it was definitely how a panner tikka should not be.

2. Aqua Java (Hatibagan)<br/><br/>This outlet of aqua java is one of the worst outlets of all. The staff is not competent to manage people. When I entered I was greeted on question them about zoamato gold one of the staffs said it's not applicable in their outlet even though it was clearly mentioned it's available on that outlet.<br/><br/>Then another of their staff said that its available but. But the whole point of Zomato gold was to give a discount but some how the staff managed to charge me high. I asked for normal water they gave me mineral water.<br/><br/>I orderd for white pasta they managed to increase the price by saying that they had added premium veg toppings. It's just the greedy staff for which such a good brand is getting a bad name.<br/><br/>I would ask the management to look up to this matter of their staffing or else they would suffer for the staff.

Aqua java is the perfect place to chill out with friends. The food is worth the money spent. We had ordered Kitkat Shake, Crispy chilli babycorn, peri peri pizza. All three were delicious and there is not a single fault that anyone can point out at all this 3 dishes.

I was here with my friend. The service is a bit slow and they charge unnecessarily. They took charges even for adding vegetables in the pasta. Lasagna wasn't available so we had to order pasta. The nachos was good and a lot of quantity was served. Overall experience was good but the unnecessary price taken was unfair by claiming it as add ons.

Went there as this place provides zomato gold on food. Now the only disappointment was they said we can opt for one starter and one main course using zomato gold(food) which is obviously not the case with any other restaurants. Aqua java has been one of my favourite places for good hookahs. Tried out orange springwater, cheese ball pizza and crispy chilly baby corn. Pizza was good. And particularly this pizza will be recommended to be tried here as well.

This is very nice place,located near girish park metro..they have nice decor with seating arrangement👌👌....good place for hangout with frnds...apart from these they have only veg items on there menu..I think they may introduce some non veg items also👍

Hookah was good but the food quality was average.<br/>I ordered tossed mushroom and broccoli which was below average(2/5) as the spices were really not balanced.Taste was bland and the mushrooms we're not so fresh.<br/>Cheese balls again disappointed me as there were only 5 pieces for 200/- with as small garlic toast which was not having a good filling which a cheese ball should have.<br/>Hookah? You may try it...<br/>You can order pizza or babycorn which are good in taste.

This place is near Vivekananda road. They have only veg to offer. It is basically a hookah joint. The ambiance,staff,food and over all very bad. Even they do not have regular water to offer. When we asked for water they are like you have to buy it. ok! A small bottle of 500 ml cost almost 4/5times more price than normal. I really don't know restaurant or cafes have this kind permission or not because it's in law that you have to provide regular water to customers. Ok now the food story is just as pathetic as the experience. We odered honey chilli potato and cheese balls. Chilli potato is nothing but a sweet and fry weird thing and the chesse balls are just blunt, no taste just chew and chew if you can then swallow. Coffee was also bad and the only better than all of this was the lemon ice tea.

Nescafe is always filled with idiotic crowd and the celebration the waiters all idiots the food is States list baseless and I don't know what to say I would recommend that we do not go to this cassettes effective capital

First of all, this cafe is located on Vivekananda road near maniktala and not in Hatibagan. This is a hangout place for youngsters looking to have a good time over hookah. The food is good but pricey. We had Bombay pav bhaji with mojito and lime ice and the stuff was good. They have separate seating arrangements for people who want to smoke and those who don't. Since we don't really like to smoke hookah without alcohol and this cafe does not serve alcohol, we were not allowed to sit in the hookah zone. Normally I wouldn't complain about this arrangement, but the non-smoking zone had no music & even the AC was turned down. We felt unwelcome and left shortly. Overall it was an average cafe, suitable for those who want to have hookah with mocktails.

Worst branch of Aqua java.<br/>If you ask for normal water they will hand you over packed drinking water and if you ask to cancel it they will say it's already been charged and my zomato gold could not be used on for purchasing 2 starters at once.<br/>I was charged for what God knows some extra veggies in my pasta about which I was not told and it was also punched in the bill.<br/>If possible I would love to have a talk with the management over this matter.<br/>The food was not that good.<br/>I don't know if they continue with staffs who are extra smart then it will be a difficult for the branch to last long.... In the past, our expectations of vegetarian menu items have been pretty low. It seems that many places we go to have vegetarian dishes that are afterthoughts. Not here!. I don’t review Veg Eateries often as I am hardcore Non Veg Lover, but this place was just too good not to.  After walking upstairs, we thought this was going to be a little cafe serving mediocre food. We took a leap of faith and were greeted and told to grab a seat anywhere.The café was clean, and the 2nd story location made for a really nice view when we sat in the Sunroom area.

One of the older and famous chain of Hookah parlours and veg cafes in Kolkata, Aqua Java needs no introduction. It's a good place to chill with friends over some really good hookah. The food is quite good too. This outlet is quite spacious and has many TV screens where you can enjoy watching the current cricket/football games. There is a wall covered with artificial green moss which is a great backdrop for pictures. I had had: -<br/>Punjabi Tadka - It's a platter consisting of baby naan, dal tadka and paneer makhani. A lovely lunch at Aqua Java Girish Park. We tried a number of items along with hookah. The cafe is located at Girish Park crossing, overlooking Vivekananda Road. The food & service is top notch, so is the ambience.<br/>We tried Paw Bhaji, Gupchup with Red Bull Shots, Brownie Java, Swallow Balls, Triple Sundae & Hookah. Really enjoyed the food. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant serving a variety of multicuisine dishes! Worth a try!

I just loved this dish.<br/><br/>★ Gupchup with Chilly Mint Red Bull shorts:<br/>Fhuchka meets Red Bull. What a combination!!  First of all this is not for everyone. It combines the sourness of Fuchka water with the sweetness of Red Bull.<br/><br/>★ White Forest n Strawberry Swiss Roll : The White Forest cake almost melted in my mouth. I loved it. I don't actually like Strawberry flavor very much. So the Swiss Roll was OK for me.<br/><br/>★ Punjabi Tadka : Laacha Parathas served with  Dal Makhani & Paneer Makhanwala were really good. The Paneer & the Paratha were my favourite. The less oily touch increased It's delicacy.<br/><br/>★ Swallow Balls & Veg Fried Rice : The veg Manchurian & fried rice is the Chinese touch that they have got here. Good ones.<br/><br/>This place has got a cool vibe with different kinds of decors at different section of the restaurant. The decoration is not one dimensional. And the variety of decor sections are almost symbolic to the variety of dishes.<br/><br/>The place is hygienic & cool. The cafe like fresh vibe is present here. The service is fast. The behavior is good and the attention is there.<br/><br/>A must visit for the veg lovers. And even if you are not a fan of veg, visit this place & you will become one. Keep it up team Aqua Java.

I have been visiting aqua java before and this place was also feels like very positive, chilled and the interior was also very bright and nice like the other outlets they have around the city. This place can accommodate 50-60 people easily. As you entered the restaurant you find couple of comfy sofas to sit and this seating area is for them who just don't like hookah smell or like they just don't want to have hookah, then on the left they have private seating area and finally the main section is for mainly hookah and everything..<br/><br/>Coming to the food i ordered -<br/><br/>Pinkpussycat - This was basically a cranberry juice which was surely a good mocktail.<br/><br/>Crunchin Java - It was kind of a shake and similar to the cold coffee actually. It was thick, sweet and really tasty for sure.<br/><br/>Gupchup With Chilli Mint Red Bull Shots - If you are ordered this thinking about our local kolkata fuchka then this dish quite disappoint you cause it was very unique dish, the water is made with red bull and some of the other spices and the filling of the gupchup was not also same to our local fuchkas. It was surely a good and innovative dish to try but do not compare it with local fuchkas. It was totally a different preparation.<br/><br/>Veg Fried Momos with cliantro n chilly tomato dip - momos are quite good and tasty even it was a vegetarian dish.<br/><br/>Punjabi Tadka - This dish comes with Dal Makhni , Paneer Makhanwala , Laccha Paratha n lashun mirch chutney. This dish absolutely stole my heart. The dal Makhni and the paneer was too delicious and mouth watering. Now I can say that this dish can melt any hardcore non vegetarian heart. Highly Recommended!<br/><br/>Cheesy Aloo Tikka - I never knew that a potato preparation can be so much delicious. This dish was basically made with streamed potatoes seasoned with spices , coated with melted cheese and served like tandoori dish. It is a recommended dish.<br/><br/>Overall i can say that if you wanted chill with friends over hookah or if you just wanted to have some coffee with some quick bites , this place is for you.. they are playing some of great unplugged bollywood songs and that was a added advantage too. One of the great place to hangout around hatibagan and girish park area. Staff were nice and service was quick enough. Last but not the least even it is a vegetarian restaurant, this place has enough Options in menu to satisfied your tastebuds. Go and check them out at least once.

Everything was perfectly cooked and when you will have this you will not miss non veg . Firstly its hard to understand why it mentions hatibagan when it is actually located at Vivenkanada road, girish park.<br/>Its a regular meet up place with my friends and temporarily they stopped serving Shisha and was also closed for renovation. But after renovation the place is quite a disappointment.<br/>If Shisha is still your priority and you are ready to compromise a little on sitting and food the place seems okay.

This place turned into a horrific experience. The food was pathetic, ac not working. This place was better before their renovation but now I would suggest don't waste your money. We ordered 3 items and all of them was horrible. This place is not worth it anymore.

Was a good experience...... A value for money place to hang out...<br/><br/>We had chelo kabab, cappuccino, Perry Perry...<br/>Adequate for two... Taste was average...<br/><br/>But the cuppucino was tasted better.<br/><br/>Also te pool table was an additional bonus

The most pathetic place I have ever been....the people are pathetic the manager is ill mannered no class at all....we have ordered a shisha wid pan and rose but there is no flavour in it I have gone to manager myself Nd asked him to change but it's not get changed we have waited there for half an hour sudden manager came nd I complained again so he said ur hookah has been changed but the hookah was there on table Infront of my eyes from last half an hour with anger we planned to leave we paid 600 without any thing there wen we complained he started arguing there are more 3 people who wer complaining about the same thing but they are not flng bothered.....aqua java should banned this place bcoz it's messing up the goodwill of a brand......I highly recommend not to go to this pathetic place shameless staff

I went there after almost 2 years and this place has been revamped a lot. I took one of its combo's which had Veg Wai Wai, Hookah and any 2 mocktails of our choice. So we took Virgin Mojito and Ice Tea. Hookah was good, Wai Wai and Virgin Mojito was properly made and flavorful but i found the Ice Tea to be a bit too sweet.

Aqua Java has been a brand to reckon with for years. When it started , it instantly became a big popular hit among students . The major cause of popularity being the introduction of the perfect sheesha. But for me, and for other non-sheesha people, the major attraction was the thick shakes and unique cold coffee options like the Brownie Java.<br/><br/>This AJ is fairly new and is the only one in North Kolkata. The place has rustic interiors but still some work is still pending with regards to the decor. They have a pool table which is a great option to have . They also have live performances every Saturday 6pm onwards which livens the ambience up .<br/><br/>Coming to the food and drinks, here could start with the Yoda Soda which is basically a refreshing float version of blue curacao with lime cordial. Then moving on, in the appetizers, munchies such as the 'Classical Nachos' and the spicy "Masala Fries" would be a great bet but the fries need to be had soon before they get soggy. Another option would be the Cheesy Onion Rings, which are crisp onion rings with mozzarella filling inside.They work well with the mayo dip given alongside.<br/><br/>In the main course,the Thai Green Curry with steamed rice is absolutely delectable. It as thick consistency and the powerful ingredients of Kaffir lime and basil make it very flavourful. If you are not into spicy coconut based curries and want something milder,you can try the all-time classic Spaghetti Alio Olio. The version they make is slightly spicy with the addition of chilli flakes , but it retains the original flavour of garlic.<br/><br/>The service is very amicable and attentive. In addition, the hukkah here is well known . This has to be one of the worst outlets of Aqua Java.<br/>I am not sure whether they served coffee or sugar, the desserts were equally bad. The ambience was so painful that I was happy when my food was finished and the very realisation of "I have to leave now" dawned on me.<br/>.<br/>I will save myself from writing a detailed review because cafes who cannot keep up their food quality after a food event is someplace you need to avoid.<br/>.<br/>We ordered--<br/>1. Hazelnut Mocha- pretty sure they just added the name to make a fancy menu card.<br/>2. Cafe Irish Cream.<br/>3. Vienna Brownie.<br/>4. I have been visiting different outlets of Aqua Java in Kolkata over past few years, maybe just to have some coffee over adda, but I had never been to this Girish Park outlet. This Girish Park outlet is indeed a nice hangout joint with very little competitors in the vicinity, that’s a huge plus point for any outlet. This outlet has got a young and peppy touch to it, especially with that Live Music session on Saturdays (6pm onwards), I thoroughly enjoyed that. Also, you can play a game of pool if you visit this place! Though the place is new and some interior decor work is still pending, I believe and the overall ambiance can still be developed a lot. But the combination of live music, hookah, and decent food is what you can ask for to go along with some good conversion. The place is especially a favorite among local youngsters. And keep in mind, this is a vegetarian joint, serving some nice veg finger food and even meals like the Thai Green Curry with steamed rice, or Spaghetti aglio olio, etc. I liked both the snacks and even these two meals! I tried two drinks; basically, both were kinda thick shakes. But I liked most the one called Yoda Soda Deep Blue Vanilla Float that had Vanilla ice cream, Blue curacao and lemon cordial in it. Also liked the Masala (potato) Fries to go with it, but have it warm else that gets soggy pretty quickly, same is true for the Cheese Onion Rings. Also, don’t miss their Mud cake, it has got a drizzle of chocolate sauce and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. But yes, definitely the star attraction of Aqua Java on a musical Saturday night is their Hookah! You can give it a try yourself; hopefully, you’ll find this place nice enough to chill (in this part of the city).

Aqua Java was the first cafe to serve hookah in the city of Joy! It has a lot of childhood memories attached and also it’s been more than a decade since we are going there.<br/>Food :<br/>Burrata Cheese Crostini was crispy and cheesy, Tandoori Momo was spicy and chatpata,Hot ‘N crunchy cheese balls were beautifully plated, the highlight or I must say the USP of all aqua Java’s is the Chello Kebab they have, its lip smacking and sheer pampering to the taste buds. <br/>I also had the corn and spinach Canelloni which was great. <br/>Last but not the least Chocolate is bae and will remain to be so, loved the Choco Crunch Roll.<br/>Strawberry Swiss rolls were creamy and freshly made.<br/>They also have live music by Gyanjit Patar which made the whole outing very lively. <br/>

This place was the first place to serve Hookah when all this trends started and college days were well spent at their Mani square outlet.<br/>Recently visited this outlet to celebrate a friends birthday it is located in between Girish Park and Vivekananda road connectivity more close to GP. Been visiting Aqua Java for over the years at all the other located one's but never came down here at Girish Park. The moment you walk in to any Aqua Java it brings back those happy moments that has been spent over the time with your friends. And there is a close connection especially for the young crowd as they consider this place their home ground to chill and relax over great Hookah,Food and Non Alcoholic drinks.<br/><br/>Of course Aqua java has expanded itself enough to keep the entertainment on here as well. Now you can play pool or hear live unplugged music every Saturday from 6pm onwards.<br/>Great and ample space keeping simple decors around is something which they have kept at the moment. There has been some renovation going on for which a lot more interior work is left and they are planning to complete it as soon as possible.<br/><br/>As we know Hookah is their speciality,so i won't be talking about that as it's pretty obvious to get some of the best choices here. Let me recommend you the food and drinks to get at your table the next time you come here.<br/>Starting with the drinks you should pick the Yoda Soda Deep Blue Vanilla Float as that's some real refreshing drink. It has a mix of Blue Curacao with Lemon Cordial and a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. From the snacks have the Masala Fries which is simply yummy for the flavours of masala mixed along.
