I loved the greeting and their gesture. Folks were very friendly and food was awesome. I loved it, it was 1st b'day with my fiance and she got impressed with the ambiance and delicious food there on her special day.

Close to Swastha Bhawan. Awesome ambience to booze around. Hookah & almost every premium beers are available in a nominal price. Very calm & a pleasant ambience inside !

Nice place some interior work going on right now after the work is completed it will be a more better ambience to enjoy your drinks and dinner in evening haven't tried this place during lunch time but at this price this place is a steal deal and food is really good must try if you are in sector 5 and looking for drinks and dinner

Loved it. Situated in sector V, this is a very good restaurant where you can enjoy s pocket friendly meal and drinks. Ambience is too good. Service is also good. Value for money it is. Good time to visit - weekends afternoon, you will get the place less filled, and thus can take full advantage of the service and dining.

Nice food. Absolutely loved the fish fingers and other chicken snack items. Management is very nice and friendly. The hotel staff were very helpful and caring. Also the service is very quick even though it is a proper restaurant not a fast food centre. I have never waited more than 30 min for food here. The usual service time is 15- 20 min.

Good food quality. observations suggest that their food is one of the best in sector 5 of salt lake city. We visited the restaurant on 1st January ,2018 and it was the most silent restaurant with comparatively less crowd

Must try the whole Bhetki fish, shredded lamb and vegetable papad fry once there and many more. Typically these are off menu, ask the head waiter for todays specials and he will arrange it for you. Otherwise in food, Indian and Chinese cuisine is mostly what they offer. The full course menu is also mouth watering and they have good seafood and non veg dishes. All premium Indian as well as imported liquor, including full fountain beer is available here. Take away is also available. Prices are reasonable and staff friendly and cordial. Being not in the main section of Sec V, it is located at the Benfish Tower beside Godrej, it mostly remains a quaint place, so if you are the type who hates too much crowd and noise, and yet want not to travel far from office para, this would be a nice joint. The ambience is nice and conducive for both family and friends and lighting decent. They have a good combination of sofas and chairs for comfortable seating and tables are spaced out, so it doesn't feel clumsy. They have recently renovated their aft section so there is more sitting area now available. This area can be also hired for group events, so check out with management. Overall its a perfect place to hang out with friends and have simply adda.

Good place to chill, although price is a bit higher, but its sector V boss.. Looks lonely from outsite, but enough place inside. Food and drink was good, we were served a bit late as there was many people..

Excellent fish finger... Moderately priced alcohol... However the staff don't know the difference between lemon barley and lime cordial.. And yes kudos to the management for identifying trouble makers before hand

Great Kebabs! The food was great. Ambience was good. We had chicken angari kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, fish fingers and chicken kema Tikka. It's open till 11 pm at night.

If you are visiting during happy hour, they will offer you more than you spend. All the food they offer are very testy and good in quality as well as quantity. Over all a preferred eating destination to visit repeatedly.

Since we loved the ambiance, I think we ended up ordering a bit more than usual. However we savored every bit of what was offered.<br/><br/>Fresh Lime Soda: This is a very regular beverage found in all restaurants, exactly this is what makes it so important for a restaurant to ensure that what they serve catches the attention of their customers. Frankly, I was impressed with the way it was served in a fancy glass. I was willing to forgive if it tasted average but again I found the taste to be just as good.<br/><br/>Mushroom Pepper Salt:  I am a mushroom lover, so yeah I give full points to the crispy stir-fried mushroom with the adequate seasonings<br/><br/>Badaami Murgh Kabaab: This was something I tried for the first time and I loved it. Not too spicy, yet full of flavours. Quite savoury with the green chutney.<br/><br/>Amritsari Fish: Slices of fish well marinated in spices and cooked well. It was the spiciest of all the starters we tried and yet I wouldn't mind some more spiciness. <br/><br/>Chicken Pepper Salt: It tasted quite like its veg counter part apart from the flavour of chicken instead of mushroom<br/><br/>Chicken Fried Rice: Well, it was good. Located just opposite the RDB,this joint is a good one for having booze and that too at a pocket friendly price.Starting with ambience - it's quite decent.Staff behaviour is polite. Now coming to food quality - so we wanted to have something with beer n cocktail,so we decided to try out italian fish finger and peppered chicken. Fish finger was very nicely cooked. It's really a good one to have alongside booze,peppered chicken was so so type,as the taste was not up to the mark. So,considering all the aspects if you wanna have a drink without hurting your pocket,can check out this joint.

This place is located in sector 5 saltlake.Had been there for lunch.Ambience is okaish.This is basically a bar cum restaurant.Had ordered fresh lime soda,chilly fish,chicken fried rice, veg rice and hunan mint chicken.Foods are awesome.Quantity is up to the mark.Fresh lime soda was a disappointment.Polite and friendly staffs.There are always offers going on for hard drinks.Worth a try.

Lakelite is a cozy eatery, located in Sector V, right next to the Swasthya Bhavan. Have been here a couple of times, the service is quick and the staffs are helpful.<br/><br/>I have tried both the Indian and Chinese cuisines here, and personally I must say the Indian dishes are better than their Chinese preparations. Till now I have tried matkedar chicken, chicken tikka butter masala, garlic naan, tandoori chicken, chicken rezala, Lakelite special chicken, lat me kai, lemon coriander chicken soup, chicken hakka noodles, and kung pao chicken.<br/><br/>•From the Chinese section, I will recommend the Lemon Coriander Soup (Generous chunks of chicken, with a subtle hint of lemon and freshness of coriander) and Lat Me Kai (succulent pieces of chicken tossed in a spicy, tangy sauce). 💯<br/>•From the Indian section I will recommend the Tandoori chicken (cooked to smoky perfection) and the garlic naan, which is just too good, with the lingering smell of garlic! 💕<br/>However, their Chicken Rezala is nothing like a rezala should be, which was a let down.<br/><br/>Overall, there is scope for improvement, in terms of food, and the pocket pinch is on the higher side, but if you are looking for a quiet place to have a peaceful dinner, this is a nice option! ✨

A terrible experience to say the least.<br/>Pros: Nothing.<br/>Cons: The quality of the food is appalling. We had ordered Italian fish finger, Tandoori roti, Yellow dal, Chicken bharta, Fish butter masala, Pea pulao and fresh lime soda. Time is of little value to these folks. They took all the time in the world to serve the food. The pea pulao, dal and fish butter masala needed more salt; the rotis caused pain to the gums and the chicken was not boiled enough. Only the fish fingers were worth the buck.<br/>These people should either get a new chef or shut down soon.

Very poor service. Destroyed the evening with some of the comments. Need to call multiple times even for a single bottle of water when there were only 7 people in the place.

Worst experience with the restaurant. First of all, the quality and quantity wise food was too bad. Poor service. They take a long time to serve an order. Manager behaviour was too bad.

Third class restaurant with low quality and quantity food<br/>Just have our team lunch (20 persons) a few minutes ago in this restaurant. Such a third class experience we ever had. There was no customer without us and still, we got the starter (pan-fried fish (3), Crispy chicken(1) and Full chicken tandoori (2) almost 40 mins delayed. <br/><br/>Served the main course almost 1 hour late. While ordering the main course they advise us that one bowl mixed fried rice is enough for 2 peoples (Rs.250/- per plate). Unfortunately when they served the food that one plate is even not enough for one people. The quality of rice was disgusting with no taste and with a flavour of rice starch. So again we order 6 plates more.<br/><br/>We asked the waiter to call the Manager but he didn't come even after asking the waiter 3 times. At last when we started shouting the manager came and behave like an uneducated person who even doesn't know how to behave with a customer.<br/><br/>He simply replies that he has nothing to do here and don't have time to waste. When we told him that we will call the police then he said ok we can skip 3 plate price with a very casual tone and said that we can't do anything and must have to pay the bill. <br/><br/>We were already late for the office then (1-3pm) and decided to pay the full amount and never ever go to this hotel.

Bad food quality. Rate is too high as per quality of food. Service is also bad, received starter after 1 hour of order. Bad smell from Mixed Fried Rice.

This place was bang beside WBHRB, the WB govt health recruitment board, where I had gone for an interview. After the lengthy procedure was over, we went inside to satisfy our hunger pangs. We ordered one plate each of kung pao chicken with schezwan chicken hakka noodles. The quantity was adequate, service attentive, ambience good, decor quirky with a " far east " touch, coupled with delicious food made our day. To top it all, it was light on our pockets. Nice place, would definitely recommend.

Nice ambiance. Quite place, not that busy like other pubs.Kebabs are the best here, though their Chinese items are superb too. No question on quality of the food. Waiters are helpful and co-operative.<br/>Drink items not all available that you get to see in the menu card but that's the problem with most of the pubs.<br/><br/>Improvement areas - they need to partner with Zomato Gold. I'm pretty sure they will be getting lot more customers. At least I would be going with my colleagues once a week and generate 20k revenue a month..LOLmust visit pub.

Fish irani over here is to die for!! The rest of the North Indian dishes are tasty too. The ambience might not be great but is cozy, and has a dim lighting hence gives you your privacy !!!

Food is good. Ambience is also good. The dishes ordered were tandoori chicken, fish irani, noodles, rice and chilli chicken, the tandoori chicken and fish irani was better compare to the other two.<br/>A quite nice place. Will be visiting again to try the other dishes.

I had a very good experience of hookah as a hookah lover...the price is too affordable and the quality and service is also good..... overall it is a nice place

My personal favorite. Especially their veg Spring rolls. They serve the best Spring rolls in Kolkata. Whenever I want to eat spring rolls I visit this place.

I visited this restro bar some days back accompanied with one of my senior. We had a few pegs of whiskey, reshmi kebab and french fries with fish finger. I did not understand why the reshmi kebab had a foam like coating,it certainly did not add any value and kind of annoying. fish fingers were nice,but serviced pretty late. booze price is on upper side.overall ok.

The Restaurant adulterates with drinks. We ordered blenders pride and they came up with something which is a probable mix of BP with Royal stag. Tastes completely different. <br/>When we inquired they did not even withdrew the order. But next drink was from a new bottle and it was just fine. We came to a conclusion that 100% they mix with the drink quality. Probably for lack of supervision. <br/>Pls do not order alcoholic drinks here.

A chance visit to the Swasthya Bhawan (the administrative building of health department) got us delayed in some paper work yesterday. Following the age old proverb ‘necessity is the mother of invention’, our famished selves discovered this restaurant within half a km of this building. Lake Lite is a restaurant quite popular among the office goers of Salt lake and New Town. The location makes it accessible for working professionals to have a quick lunch. They have an open bar and the alcohol is quite cheap, making this place a favorite hang out joint for after office parties. The restaurant was nearly full on a Friday afternoon. Since we were in a hurry, we decided to have just the soft drinks in the restaurant and get the food packed instead.

Just an amezing place.. stuff are very friendly even manager also. We had a party of office..it was jst best.i will rate lakelite 4.5 out of 5.

Well ambience is good....staff r friendly nd hlpful..service timing is also good.Quality of food is also good no doubt..surrounding is good where u can find maximum office workers..music is there which flow in light way. I and my friends were here last week, we ordered drinks and food which was one on one. I don't prefer nachos but the nachos we ordered was very tasty and service was quite good. The ambiance is also good. I won't call it an excellent place but a moderate one.

A very uncommon and a never known place in the city's IT hub. Loved the playlist enough to make my mood fresh in the very first place. Good service & well attended. For two of us the food was filling value for money. The assorted platter & red roast lamb was really good with beer accompanied by good music made my day.

The crowd is mainly office goers of Sector V and New Town area.<br/>Location is good, just adjacent to Swastha Bhavan.<br/>The restaurant is very dimly lit, and air conditioning id also not that great. Not every variety of alcohol listed in the menu is available, so it's best to consult the waiters, rather than going through the menu.<br/>Starter items like Fish Finger, Chicken Drum Stick, Dry Chilli Chicken are nice.<br/>Price is mid ranged. You can try it out once on way back from office if you work in Sector V. Nothing special, otherwise.

Food quality is very average and taste is bland. Takes very long time to serve the food. Please do not try Chinese preparations as they are below average. The decor of the restaurant is not appealing rather it's more like a store room kind of atmosphere as you will find lots of cartoons are lying here and there. They serve drinking water directly from overhead tank. So don't try normal water and go only for mineral water.

After renovation.....Place deserves special mention....with pub style look and music...Food & drinks are good...Price reasonable in and around sector 5 area....Hookah also available....

I would rate Lakelite a 4.5 definitely! Its the affordable go-to place for sector 5 working crowd. For some its like a hidden gem. Good food, great quality as well as quantity! The place looks even better after they renovated it! Went there for my Birthday lunch with my colleagues. We had a combination of chinese and Indian. The chicken bharta needs a special mention. Was awesome. They have also introduced hookah which caters to another crowd too. Overall a good place.

Located @ sec 5 after nicco park decent place to have drinks and food with frnds. serves both north indian and chinese dishes and  we used to hang around after tideous office hours.. service is efficient staff are good..

The good place to hangout with friend's or colleagues . Located just beside benfish building, it's mostly packed after the sun sets. Had their special chicken in dry format, french fries, Johnny walker, tandoori roti plain, plain naan, bhuna gosht, mixed fried rice, fish fingers and special chicken in gravy. French fries were good, crisp from outside n soft from inside, the dry special chicken was great, I guess it was made with fenugreek. The fish fingers were soft and the dip was good. The fried rice was good and portion was large. Naan n tandoori rotis were soft.the bhuna gosht was not upto the mark, the mutton pieces were no soft, it was fibery. The waiters were courteous. Overall a good place on weekends or last day of week to hangout. The sitting is sort of ok. The place is a bit cranky but seats are comfortable, the place is a bit small.

We all office colleagues went there for team dinner.<br/>Though it wasn't my recommendation.<br/>We didn't know about their speciality.<br/>So, firstly we were ordering chinese foods like drums of heaven, crispy chicken etc...<br/>Chinese preparations are not good.<br/>Don't order.<br/>Then suddenly we came to know about their mutton dishes.<br/>We ordered and really we all were satisfied with the taste.

Decent place to have a drink after a bad day in office. Waiters are very efficient and cordial. Rates are also very reasonable. Only thing I dislike about this place is the long waiting outside the only gents washroom. Average billing with starters,alcohol , food for two shouldn't cost more than 2500/-.

One of those cheap drinking options in and around Sector V. Had dropped in once many months back with a friend. The starters here were quite nice and the reasonably priced drinks didn't hurt our pocket much. The service was quick as well..!

The service quality has deteriorated...a friend of mine who stays in US..visited last night...pathetic..which was not before...I was never told that reshmi kebab will come with egg white wrapped...onion kulcha was uncooked...Pls work it out..I am a frequent visitor...so I didn't expect such services...

I have been regular here not because I like this place so much but my earlier office was located just beside this restaurant. If you want to have food in a formal environment then you can surely try lake lite.  Starters are awesome but there is much room for improvement for the main course.Alike other restaurants in saltlake this  restaurant also have a long waiting time.

Good place to catch up couple of drinks with friends. The food is decent, no specific recommendation. We visited here during a busy Durgapuja evening and we found that the restaurant maintains its usual quality which is definitely good considering the huge rush during Durga puja. Staff behavior is also very polite, they did not have chicken bhartha in their puja menu ... But they went out of their comfort zone and made the same for us as we repeatedly requested for a chicken dish which can be shared amongst three of us. We loved it.

Food is good. Ambience is average compared to the price. Many of the strong beers are surprisingly not foubd most of the time although they appear in tge menu list. All in all an average experience with an average service.

One of my favorite restaurants! I love their chinese dishes! And the ambience is awesome! One of the things from Kolkata which I miss the most is this restaurant! Price wise quantity is quite good! As well as good taste! You too should give it a try if you are in Kolkata!

Strategically placed at a brilliant location, just at the entrance of Sector V and very near to College More. <br/>The ambiance is okay types for a leisurely afternoon or evening after the daily office grind for get togethers.<br/>The variety of non veg items that they serve with the drinks do a world of good. <br/>Had been skeptical owing to it's moderate brand of mock-tails but frankly speaking we were taken by surprise. The drinks are moderately priced.<br/>The service is good, perhaps a bit slow to some respects but overall can say the quality and taste of food offered was good for the price tag.

I have been a regular here with my friends and family and today with my wife. Sad to see that they have removed all the egg items from their menu. The rest of their dishes are good. Booze is very reasonably priced. A decent place to hang out in the Sector V area.

Frequent visit as this is near to my office. Whenever a get together we used to visit this place. Though the ambiance is not so great but the price will not make the hole in your pocket. The liquor is cheap and the food as well. the best thing I like in the starter is Chicken Mumtaz.

Sector 5 is the newest Park Street especially on a Friday!! Oh my god, what an ordeal!! The entire process of parking our cars to finding restaurants. Thankfully around 8:30 this place confirmed a space for 6 people! The restaurant was jam packed! Looked shabby but we had no choice. We were placed downstairs, prices are okay. We ordered for a kebab snd chilli chicken. The hard drinks are reasonably priced. The plates were dirty and service was snail paced! For the mains, we opted for chinese- dome hakka noodles with a fish in gravy and a chicken in gravy!

This is located near ashram more, have to go inside few meters from the benfish lane. Moderately priced bar cum restaurant. Snacks over here is tasty, my personal favorite is their babycorn, crisp chicken. Tried here espresso flavored vodka for the first time with my friends. <br/>Decor is very simple dine in setup, thankfully has couches too; on weekdays this place mostly remains empty. Staff behaviour is very good although beverage knowledge could be better. Affordable little place in sector v.

Biggest downside is the location and the lazy staff. And i am among the few who gives such low scores unless some disastrous outing and believe me it was one of those. Only smiling point for which i gav them .5 more was the starters which were good.

Situated in the interiors of sector V. I went to this place in search of cheap liquor but found it above average. Starter was good but there is no service at all. Staffs are very casual and busy on their own. Otherwise has a nice seating capacity.

We checked in around 10.45pm luckily they were still serving alcohol, which in other cases they dont. A very good stock of liquors and food was also decent. We enjoyed ourselves late till 12 without any disturbances . A very good place to chill out with friends

I was here with my friends. Ambience is average. Food quality is okay but not good in comparison to its price (Priced in the higher side than its quality). I will request to change the bar menu, shown here in Zomato as they don't comply with the present prices , which are 1.6 times the prices shown here.

The ambience was excellent, behaviour of the waiters were average but the price seemed a bit high considering the taste which was average. Esp their chinese cuisine which did not taste as per expectations, their north indian dishes seemed better though.

A pocket friendly Bar and resto in Sector 5. If you are looking for some energetic place then it would be a wrong option. But if you want a less costly place to have some drinks and good food in Sector 5 then you can consider Lake Lite. Overall an above average place.

I like this place very much. With very good ambience and food quality this restaurant is lovely. I have been here twice and looking forward to visit again

Lake Lite is located near Swastho Bhavan Bus Stop in Sector-5, in a quaint little corner away from the most happening part of this area..Perhaps the location is a bit turn-off owing to which its mostly vacant compared to more famous bars like Opium in the locality.. Have spend quite some lazy evenings with friends enjoying our poison.. The biggest flaw I find in this place is definitely the exorbitant rates compared to the quality of foods and services provided here..<br/>Coming to the ambiance, nothing much to talk about this place, a bit dimly light interiors with spacious seating and a well stocked bar though the ambiance is suited particularly for stags only.. But last time we went we felt kind of stuffy with a persistent foul smell inside.. I have been to this place 2-3 times and I must say in terms of food this place is not upto the mark. The food was not as good as expected when compared to price. <br/>We ordered chicken reshmi kabab as starter and for main course kulcha, chicken fried rice, chicken manchurian and sweet and sour prawn.<br/>Since it is in saltlake area, must say great place to hangout with office colleague. <br/>Overall average experience, not recommended for foodies.

I am writing this review only on the basis of food that was served...went there with a lot of expectation after reading few positive reviews...but the experience was totally dissapointing....we did not order liquor though....<br/><br/>We had ordered a pan fried chicken noodles...with gravy...which came after a long wait...although the resturant was quite empty....the dish looked nice at the first glimpse...but it was really no where to be called a good chinese dish...they made it too sweet by adding lot of sugar may be...after having complained about the same to the waiter...he very comfortably escaped saying chinese gravies are a little sweeter...as if we were having a chinese gravy dish for the first time....chinese gravies are not sweeter rather mild in taste...where you can give it your own taste by adding sauces or pepper powder if you want to make it bit spicy...<br/><br/>Really not going to give it a second try anymore...<br/><br/>

Nice place with good ambiance..all food items are awesome..perfect dishes with alcohol..all lamb items, special chicken, chicken drumsticks are must try dishes. The good thing is that you can buy alcohol peg wise and bottle wise also..

Amazing food 😘 mocktails are not that much good but the lamb and the prawn items are soo delicious n lipsmacking 😍😍😍. But one thing I must say please choose music wisely sometimes they play such a cheap music

This is a very average place we have ordered American chopsy, mixed fried rice and sezwan chicken. Quality of rice rice is not good also the sezwan sauce us not well mixed. A bit salty. Ambience is good and staffs are helpful. Need more improvement in service and food quality

This is a bar and restaurant situated in the IT sector of Kolkata.<br/>The ambiance is pretty decent and so is the crowd. Staff is prompt and helpful.<br/>We went there mainly for drinks and for some finger food.<br/>The experience was not bad at all.<br/>Drinks are priced pretty economically except for LIIT which is 550/750 INR. Not sure of this anomaly.<br/>The tandoori chicken was quite good and we ordered for repeat. Been here in the eve of durga puja with my sister and her husband and a brother, it was overall a nice place , staffs were nice and decent and the food was of good quality.

Well I was going for 2.5 but the stuff's behavior made it 3.0. We had ordered Chinese cuisine(Mix Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice Sezchawn Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken) . Very average food. Chicken fried rice was good though. Nothing much to remember.

Good ambience, drinks are OK, food is too costly. Location wise it's too good, while returning home take a U turn, get in, sip, enjoy and come out stress free

Located in sector v, this place is a restaurant cum bar. Ambiance was decent. Food was tasty, quantity was just sufficient. Service was okay.<br/>Overall, an okayish experience we had.

Lake Lite is a bar cum restaurant. We had hard drinks with some delicious starters. Price range is kind of OK in my opinion. Interior decoration and the ambiance is really nice. And yes you cannot smoke inside the bar. Service and quality both are good. And you can also pay through your cards. As a whole its a good place and within your budget.

It doesn't look like much but the inner walls en chain a line of good food and quality booze...its quite a common place for regular customers so if it's a Friday u better get in early..food is very good and will be served hot and in decent time

Great palce for sit and dine. Serves nice hot and fresh foods. Specifically we visited for the lamb item, that was really awesome.. But unfortunately visited on a dry day so could not enjoy drinks...
