Review Tumi Asbe Bole Bar & Restaurant - Kolkata (Calcutta)

This place is so nice, in a prime location just beside of ajaynagar bus stand. After the lockdown the rates have been increased in every item but still I love the ambience. Food quality is good, in a large quantity you will get by paying a nominal charge. For 2 people you can pay 1500 for enjoying a good moment. You can also go there with your family.

Very small place. 2nd floor is with music. 3rd floor is family Restaurant. I found price is on a higher side . Food is moderate. Staff behavior is extremely cordial, and you can feel formal. The best part I liked is the view from 3rd floor. You can watch busy traffic movement over EM bypass.

Good bar cum restaurant located at Ajay Nagar, EM bypass. Excellent for both those who love to listen to live music and enjoy there drinks and those who only want to have drinks and chat. 1st Floor is the bar with live band and 2nd floor is the normal bar. Good news for smokers, bar allows smoking inside the bar. Cost of liquor and food is bit high but affordable. Excellent place to hang out with friends & colleagues but not perfect place with family.

My starting place,naver seen this type of man-the suprimo owener bhoumik da,so kind,so helpfull,all stuff pray to him like a Godfather,and I also,live band and musicians are too good,and also the management stuff s are also.

Cleaned and great view of EM Bypass. Item are costly but reasonable.

Visit their in night u will see the more vivid colour of this bar boys u got it i think 😉

The place is not like a restaurant it's like a room all the staff are watching at me . I don't know why. Price is too hot according to the place.

Service is average. The environment sucks, the music is too loud and the singers are even bad then the roadside one. Prices are way too high then standards. AVOID IT AT ANY COST.

Fuckingly bad place. Do not ever go there. I used to go there a long time ago. As I was new to that location and didn't know a good bar nearby. It was a singing bar in a pigeon's hole like small place with a very loud music and you feel like it will tear your eardrum. Food was average with high price. Alcohols were high priced too. And the people used came here were not decent and waiters looked like hooligans. One day the worst happened and it lead to police complaint and I left going there further. The behaviour of the waiters were too bad and harsh that I used to think twice before visiting the place everytime I planned to visit to have a booze. One day the worst happened...I ordered some beer and food...still after the end of singing session I had some beer and food to complete...the waiter said just pay the bill and you sit and complete your drink and food...after I paid the bill...he told to me make (complete) it quickly...I told that I need 10 mins more to complete those...and he said it's not possible...and he took my food and beer away...I told why are you taking those away while I paid for that...if you beahave like that it's not possible for me to visit your bar further as yours is not the only bar in city and there are so many around...suddenly he punched in my face and as I was drunk I could not understand what was hapenning and why he punched me...before I could realise the situation he continued punching me 6-7 times and other waiter was standing in between preventing me to do anything...It's pathetic that happened to me in any bar in my lifetime...I complained to police station that night and submitted medical evidence next day...police took my complaint and assured to take action against them...but don't know what happened after that...but I never visited the place again since then and will never visit in rest of my life.

Worst environment. Smells like a damn place! Yack!!! Felt really sick in there. How could even they keep their prices high! No maintenance 😩

Everything about this place apart from its name is bad. This place is as shady as one can be. Its basically a singing bar and is visited by people you would not like to have for company. And they prevent you from taking pictures even if its yours. Avoid this place at all costs.

Situated at a very prominent location of ajoynagar on EM Byepass. The place is next to Haji Ali take away counter. The first floor is a singing bar with a very shady crowd. 2nd floor has a better and silent option for 4 tables. The Food is decent.

Bekar. service food. Prices are also high. But serom kichui na. Bhetore eto loud music dat u cannot sit and talk. We took two beer and a salad and the bill was 480 aprox.

I would suggest girls not to even think of this place as an option because of the recent incident which we faced.<br/>The dingy, smelly stairways lead you to second floor sitting area of this restaurant which doesn't serve any kind of beer except kingfisher! And even the food menu they have, doesn't have all items at a given time except for a handful.<br/>There is no decor/ambiance, it is visited by very cheap crowd of people which won't suite any girl belonging from good family. Even for guys i would suggest the nearby and the only affordable bar at this locality, that is gossip. Prices are almost similar that of both, so choose wisely guys!<br/>

Haha! Small bar cum restaurant just few metres away from Ajay nagar! Name sounds a perfect destination for bong couple but the story is completely different. Not to take out your girl for sure or you might end up having a brk up! This is low class bar cum restaurant only recommended for anyone who just wanna get high without caring about food or ambiance

Shoudn't be on zomato it is a downclass singing bar with hooligans the waiter will force you to sit on the singing floor manage to go on top stairs after requesting the waiters that we dont want to sit there food is pathetic they will serve only one brand of beer please avoid going

I'm very surprised 😕... how it can still exists... Such a down class bar... the environment was extremely bad... a very small place with extremely loud music and extremely bad food... very bad experience... Never worth a visit...

What a unique name for a restaurant. So, if you are waiting for someone to come and visit you, you need to make sure the person (read : the customer) likes your food and ambience. Recommended for 'chammak challo' public. :D

This is the worst bar i have ever been in my life. Don't ever make the mistake of entering this place with your wife or girl friend. I just entered & after seeing the ambience i ran out saving my life.

I thought studying engineering was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life before walking into this bar. One word, sleazy! Ridiculous performers were singing there shady meaningless songs off the tune. I even saw a person giving away 1000 rupees to a singer with the intention of doing something indecent! Don't, I repeat don't ever go there! Place HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! <br/>

The moment you step inside, the whole ambiance will make you feel uncomfortable. It's shady and puny. There are 2 service floors, the first one, where the music is too loud and terrible and the 3rd where the waiter would watch t.v. while serving food or watch your female companion. The cheap booze which attracts very shady and ill mannered people that take away its only positive.Avoid if possible.

The singing bar must be stopped. They are just creating noise pollution. but the upstairs bar/restaurant is very good. The foods taste awesome.

i truly agree with the above reviews... this bar sucks.. i was unaware of it's ambiance but all my effort searching for a good pub gone in vain as soon as i entered... the worst part is the sound inside was killing and the singers were sub standard.. lack of space and quality and services.. a zero to this bar...

Tumi Asbe Bole - This bar borrows it's name from a famous song of Anjan Dutta but barely lives up to it. It's a song bar & the singers can barely sing. The bar is not at all spacious & they will not shy away from that fact & volume is at its pick. Nothing to write much as we had literally ran away after the singer started her 2nd song. Overall Verdict: Visit Not Recommended
