Super tasty,good service

Inspite of trying to taste kolkata style biryani in all the famous joints I have really loved the aroma and taste of biryani here...Mutton pieces are extremely tender and soft when compared to any other Biryani serving restaurant.

Only Alibaba is known for Biriyani. It's taste is awesome. And whenever you ask for side dish with Biriyani, they reply Chicken Lababdar. But the restaurant is closed now permanently. A new small rented room hired just opposite the earlier place only for delivery. Working on the new place is ongoing.

Nice place. Good quality of food. Waiters are doing their job pretty well.

Fish fry is awesome. At a great price. Wonderful n courtesious behavior of staffs.

The ambiance of the restaurant is good. Food quality is also good. It is near Millennium park.

This place is known for their biriyani. We tried chicken biriyani and chicken chap. I liked both. Not extraordinary but above average. In my opinion their quantity is little less. But we satisfied with their food..

A biryani lover just can't miss this place. Known for its finger licking biryani taste. Quantity is also good for two people. Though the outlet could have been a bit more bigger.

My 2 friends and I went to have lunch today. We ordered few items including mutton biryani, mutton roganjosh, chicken tikka masala. The food quality was below average and the quantity was poorly proportioned. The rates were at par but the food quality was extremely disappointing. I don't intend to visit anymore neither at this outlet nor any other outlet.

I was a bit sceptic about ordering chicken lababdar.But It was great.The four pieces were succulent and size was not too small either.Overall it did not let me down.

We went here for trying their special biriyani. Most 9f the people come here and order Mutton biriyani, It is a famous restaurant for biriyani in Kolkata. They serve biriyani in a small hundy( হাঁড়ি).It's very nice.

Not worth. I recently had chicken biryani even after the rotten meat scare. It was just average quality. The quality of chicken was not at all good. I surely wouldn't visit again

Pathetic food, tasteless, uncooked. Complete waste of money. Avoidable. This is the second time I have this kind of experience in last 2 months.

Closest place to officepara for having biriyani. We ordered mutton biriyani, rogan josh and firni. Biriyani tasted really nice though i did not find the usual taste of rogan josh. Firni was average. Their chicken rolls that we often had for afternoon snack were really awesome.

Normal Restrau....The services are very poor. The food was also not upto the mark. The decor was very normal. Overall its not recommended at all.

Had been here for quite a lot of times. The biryani is the plus point .The ambience is good too.. Budget friendly.. The only problem lies in the fact that many items are often not available... Otherwise the food served is really tasty... The chaap is not too rich but surely delicious.. The service is also good

Today we three friends went there to have lunch. We ordered Biriyani, tikka murg, mixed raita. They served water as we completed placing our order. The glasses were dirty, and the water was opaque and things were visibly floating. We asked them to change the water as well as the glasses. They told that their 'tank' water is like this only, we need to buy mineral water if we wish to have water. Food was average. Experience is not so good as you can understand.

Alibaba is a well known mughlai restaurant in kolkata. They have others branches across the city. This outlet located in Dalhousie, BBD Bagh area. Very near to my office. Visited couple of times. Nice ambiance, friendly staffs and spacious. Foods are tasty and service is fast. Pocket pinch reasonable.

In the busy streets of BBD Bag good food is hard to find, the only thing you can rely upon is a plate of Biryani and when it comes to good brand like Only Alibaba you can trust them.<br/>I went here for a plate of Biryani, Badshai Murgh Biryani was good to try here. The Biryani was light and the chicken piece was good in size. Price seemed to be okay as the quality was decent.<br/>This outlet is lage and has a good seating area inside.

Alibaba special chicken biryani was mouthwatering. Went with my brother, he was also happy. We did also order tandoori chicken.<br/>Unfortunately as soon as the plates arrived we started digging in..so the photo is of a half eaten one!!<br/>The best thing was delivery time after order...it was very less.

Food there is of good quality. Delivery experience is not good. My office is near their restaurant but experienced delayed delivery for many a time.

Full on sweet dishes in chicken gravy is so sweet that we mumbaikars don't like we need some spice and for complimentary onion salad they charged paneer item was like having sheera

Located near GPO, Bankshall Court, and other important office buildings.<br/><br/>This branch of Only Alibaba has a good seating arrangement inside. The ambiance may not be very great inside but its alright. And often there are plenty of vacant seats.<br/><br/>I have had biriyanis, rolls and other items from here. <br/>Taste is decent. Like other Only Alibaba branches that I have had food from. <br/><br/>If you are anywhere near here for some official work, you can drop by this place for lunch in the afternoon. You will most likely get seats inside.

This Alibaba outlet made me walk for about 15 mins from RN Mukherjee, but it was worth it. It had been a long day of shopping for diwali lights all over Ezra Street, and me and my girlfriend decided to pop in for some lunch. Well, for lunch time on a weekday, that too in a place like Dalhousie, the place was quite empty. I am guessing this was because of its location, or rather walking distance from RN Mukherjee and Lal Bazar. We ordered plain nan, paneer butter masala, badshahi murg biryani and firni. My girlfriend was fighting a cold so did not order any cold drink. The food was served quite quickly. The taste was OK, not toooo good, but then again, not too bad. The price was reasonable. I am not a regular at Dalhousie, but would love to visit again if I'm in the area.

One among many outlet chains selling rolls, biriyani and other lunch dishes.<br/>This outlet is located near the telephone exchange. The place is neat and well space. Decor is nothing worth mention. <br/>We ordered for rolls- chicken, egg and Paneer.<br/>The rolls were decent though after repeated requests of making it spicy, the roll didn't give me sweat bands on my face! ( I like rolls with heat from green chilli's)<br/>Tried their egg roll which was decent too. <br/>The Roti's of the rolls were not crispy enough. <br/>The prices are nominal and overall a decent place to grab a snack. <br/>I have my eyes on their lunch meal and will soon try from the golparj outlet.<br/>

been there ist tym during college outing with friends. place is having a decent ambiance with good behaviour from staffs. Tried mutton biryani and special chicken biryani along with MUTTON ROGAN JOSH and MUTTON KAALIA. mutton gravy flavour is awesome and the balnace of moisture and dryness in biryani also proper... the taste is good or you can say more than good but quantity in terms of price should be a little more. not good for veg foodies...<br/>one of the famous name in kolkata in terms of biryani . no doubt u should try this place.

The Mughlai chicken items are good. Biriyani is not up to that mark. Quantity is good. Good place to have roti and other chicken items for the office goers.

I did not like Alibaba biriyani specially.but when matter related to biriyani then this alwz special.except biriyani rumali ruti.nun,chicken kosha was good.

Biryani of Only Alibaba is not that famous like other Mughal Restaurants,,, but is good and less rich.... Quantity is also very good... The Decor is very soothing,, Staffs are very helpful.... They make Biryani less oily so they use dalda in minimum quantity.... Their Spl. Biryani contains 2 pcs. of Meats and Eggs.... The Nawabi Biryani is my favorite here.....

I hail from Mumbai where Biryani is different ie Masala Rice plus Sada Rice layered. And hence mutton biryani at Only Alibaba was a complete failure to me when I was shocked to find  one big single piece of mutton with huge bone and rice. To add to the pain, Meat was not tender neither there was any accompaniment with biryani. <br/>I definitely dont call this as biryani. I was complete taken a back by the lack of taste of people here on biryani front, though it is considered a delicacy.<br/>Ordering biryani is absolutely not worth though the rice quality and aroma was fine. I have to order chicken roll to satisfy my hunger. Complete waste. Hence not posting any photos. Decor was cheap. Seats and Table were sad looking.

When you have Alibaba outlet next to your office building = Sheer Joy! :P <br/><br/>Well, being a food lover and Bangali, I LOVE BIRIYANI. period.<br/>But when it comes to Biriyani, we're also very very specific & particular!! Like the oil it contains, or the softness of the chicken/mutton, the spices  & the aroma!<br/>The only reason I'm rating this place only 3.5 is because of the biriyani not being upto the level of other Alibaba outlets and thus failing to even be compared with Arsalan. The biriyani and tandoori can be considered given there are not many good biriyani outlets in thisarea. But the side dishes are a major fail. Not enough pieces, we will hardly find chicken in the shredded items. <br/>Biriyani: Good<br/>Tandoori: Average<br/>Kebab: Fairly Good<br/>Butter Naan: Okay<br/>Chicken Bharta: Not Upto the mark. <br/><br/>Plenty scope of improvement. Ordered online through Zomato. Food was too delicious! Specially chicken recipes were amazing.. And loved the kebabs! A great place to eat indeed :)

Opposite Bankshall Court.. delivery is also available..Mutton biriyani is d special one for me..but now a days quality is falling too fast..<br/>Now they have added Thalis available in Veg, Egg and Non-veg. I have ordered Non Veg thali which includes chicken., seasonal vegetables, dal, rice. It tastes so so and still the service is very slow.

Ambience and food is okay...but the only good thing they can serve is Firnis.The worst thing about this restaurant is the unavailability of most of their items at most times (even though it shows up on their menu). Most of the kebab and chicken / mutton side dishes are unavailable even during peak lunch hours.

Being in my office area very often I visit this place for lunch. As usual they are master in Biriyanis.Apart from that the Kababs  and Chicken preparations are too good.<br/><br/>Staffs are very Cordial but they have a tendency to avoid serving Nun and Kulchas before 2 pm.

Being in my office area, i'm regular to them. Biriyani -ummm nothing left yo tell about actually, delicious, yammm! Kababs are good. But u shouldn't try any of their fish items ever (sometimes it stinks) ! Butter nun are chicken tikka butter masala are superb! If u r coming after 3-30pm , u may not get biriyani (as they made it for 100heads only). Peas rice & Firnis are so so . chicken bharta & lababdar are good. Very ordinary ambience.

I went to this place with a few colleagues on a pleasant winter noon. <br/><br/>The main reason for choosing this restaurant was the fact that the place we originally intended to visit was closed for the day. So, with a bit of underwhelm & a hint of anxiety, we entered the restaurant , wondering whether this place would be able to live up to our lofty expectations.<br/><br/>But as soon as we entered this place, we realized that our visit had turned out to be a tryst with serendipity. The interiors are so tastefully done, that the mood gets cheered up almost instantaneously & the service personnel were prompt to greet us with a warm smile on their face.<br/><br/>Our anxiety disappeared & we were looking forward to our experience being made more memorable with an assorted range of dishes from their vast menu. I must say, that the food left us satisfied to every inch of our core & made us wonder, why we hadn't this place more often in the past.<br/><br/>The dishes that deserve special mention are:<br/><br/>The Rolls: The perfect balance of seasoning along with a generous portion of filling is as close to perfection, as you are going to get, as far as rolls in Kolkata are considered. No wonder, that they are such a hit among their patrons.<br/><br/>Murgh Tikka Makhani: Though the dish is a distant cousin of the chicken tikka masala, it far outdoes the original. If you love kababs then this is the place.. Alibaba Special Chicken Cheese kabab is simply the best... melted cheese inside chicken pieces is divine... they make wonderful chicken tikka kabab... but somehow I don't like their Reshmi Kababs.. bit sour to my taste.. let's come to Biriyani..very good but definitely not as good as Arslan's... other items are okay... Off course Tanduri Chicken needs a special mention. But the Firni is not up to the mark.<br/><br/>Ambience is okay... it seems that their AC s never run.. the place is very hot...plus they don't have fans. The waiters are worthless... always confused... can't even take orders properly... almost always short of items... you can't order what you wish rather you have to order what they have got ..
