Review Limelight Restaurant - Kolkata (Calcutta)

I went on the occasion of Durga Puja very late night and even the we were two persons and the place was not crowded they were active at service. The food was good and of enough quantity. This place is just in front of the Ballygunge Railway ticket counter, just opposite side of the road and I'll suggest everyone to spent time if you are waiting for train of something there.

Brilliant food. Pocket friendly . I wish they didn't charge taxes for takeaway orders. Chilli Chicken was good. Chilli Fish was awesome and fresh. Rice was good, quantity was juat decent.

It just bang opposite of Ballygung Railway Station.. Its a AC restaurant 🍴, average food 🍲, basically a snack joint.. U can find it in Zomato...

This place is situated right near the ballygunge railway station, and this place serves chinese, North indian dishes along with some interesting starters... We ordered one chicken hakka noodles and one plate fish fingers...the taste of the noodles was okaish, nothing special but the fish finger was good.. Overall, its a moderate place where you can have a pocket friendly dining experience!

I dropped by this place for quick lunch.Took a combo meal.The menu card only shows veg fried rice as the staple component but on my request they changed it to veg noodles which came with a side dish of chilli chicken.Chicken pieces were soft and the gravy was perfectly spicy as expected in Indo-chinese variety.Noodles was tasty but too much on the oily side.I couldn't even complete the full portion of a combo meal.Ambience is very basic.Price is pocket friendly.

Well cooked rice and every grain is beautifully flavorful. At the price, its good. Quantity could have been slightly better.<br/><br/>Chilli Chicken(8/10): Big 6 pieces. Well cooked and tender chicken. Tasted brilliant and fresh. The gravy was delicious, accurately thick.<br/><br/>Chilli Fish(8.5/10): People won't easily expect fresh fish from such a restaurant but it is. No fishy Smell, 6 pieces of delicious and juicy goodness. Gravy of the chilli fish was a lot better than that of the Chilli Chicken.<br/><br/>Time taken: 20mins (waited at a table in the AC restaurant)<br/><br/>It's cheap here guys!<br/>Go for the combo for a personal enjoyment.

Reasonable price. 😁 Ordered veg fried rice and veg Manchurian. Both were good. Prices are very low as compared to any other ac restaurants. Will recommend it if you're very hungry with not much penny in your pocket ! 😜Bishop Dey

Had chicken lollypop , mutton Biryani and mutton kasha here ... Food quality is below average.... Service is not good , it is very slow .. But cheap in cost....

Limelight restaurant is located just opposite of the Ballygunge Railway station ticket counter. I went here once after completing my work in Ballygunge nearby, and took the Thali for Rs.100. Food quantity was good and sufficient to fill ones appetite for lunch. It was just for 100 so didn't expect much for the quality, but the quality was decent. Veg fried rice tasted good enough with fine quality rice, Chilli Chicken was good too.<br/>Value for money.

This may not appeal to you from its outer looks and size but its definitely worth a meal here. The ambience is decent if you get a seat by the sides. Location wise its perfectly reachable. Just opposite to ballyganje railway station.<br/>Food was quite good as well...I had chicken Hakka noodles which I dare say sticks to my mouth. Lovely!

For quick byte this place is real good one..... Do try the biriyany in my opinion biriyany deserves 4 ratings very fine rice quality an quantity as well.... But need to improve service a little bit.... As i say in every review taste and flavor varies from person to person so plzz do visit this place

I was in need of a real quick bite near Ballygunje station area. Saw this red coloured restaurant and thought of visiting. I ordered a combo meal comprised of Veg Hakka Noodles & Chilly Chicken. Food was moderately fair. Service was quick enough. Couple of observations: Salad was not required with the combo meal they served. Also, management needs to include EDC machines to multiply business specially in that area. Recomendation: NO unless you are stuck hungry in that area.

Actually they mainly do home delivery though there is a nice neat and clean dining place but I 'd noticed they were taking so many phone calls for home delivery. Anyways one fine morning at the time returning home I decided to miss my train and visit this restaurant.I 'd ordered their combo meal,Veg fried rice was ok and chili chicken was below averagae and I 'd miss two trains as they serve me after 40 minutes!! But thy were decent and apologize for late,so 3 out of 5

It is perfect combinaion of good cuisine and bar also providing a very healthy ambience. Quality of food served is given importance, specially the fish used is comparable to any <br/>5-star hotel. The staffs are all very cordial and their friendly behaviour makes the guests feel comfortable. Though one has to wait during the weekdays, as it is located in the central office hub, during the weekends one can enjoy long leisure hours, thus avoiding the typical rush elsewhere.

It is a very good restaurant in Dalhousie area. Excellent Food and Service.
