Talking about the food it was very tasty and the quality of the food was perfect. We ordered a few continental dishes all were very tasty which can't explain in such a single word. Also they had a quick service as well as hospitality. Here food also comes under affordable ranges. Starting off with the exteriors they are very simple yet attractive. Then moving on to the interiors when you enter the first room you'll get the feel of a cafe. Then when you move in to the other area where they have the bar counter you'll get the feel that you directly walked in to a bar from a cafe directly. We visited here late night due to which we were able to get a vacant space with no one around other than us inside the restaurant. Foods are too good and you also get Liqours here. We ate both veg and non veg Continental dishes which were too deliciously tasteful to explain in words. The foods are also comes under affordable price ranges. We went there for the first time so did not have much expectations. The ambience was great, specially the interior decorations, the mild jazz in the background, and the wall paintings. They served the food a bit late, but the dishes were scrumptious. We really enjoyed there. The manager personally came to our table and asked for suggestions and all. It was। a good experience nonetheless.

One of the best affordable bars in the town. You Can't believe how cheap this is. Also the food quality is top notch. The chicken popcorn is the hot selling and recommended food with any drinks . Also you can try other starters.

I really had a good experience at this place. The atmosphere is so soothing and it's like perfect to have candle light dinner with your partner. The price is bit high but okay. The service was a bit late otherwise everything was good.

Went to have dinner here with friends. Nice ambience. Just as you enter you are warmly welcomed by the staffs. They give you tabs which has the menu card, this was a first time experience for me. This day we totally went with the suggestion of foods by the staff. So here goes the food list. Starters... Crispy Fried Chicken (Rs 319)... The item was really really good and was also served in a unique way, in a bicycle concept serving tray. It had 4 large pieces and served with mayonnaise. Main Course... Peri Peri Chicken (Rs 289)... The item was served with chicken breast pieces tossed in peri peri sauce, with omlet, rice and vegetables... Taste was good ... Becon Staffed Chicken (Rs470)... Chicken portions where rolled over in Becon slices and, served with rice and vegetables... Taste was average... Shezwan Mixed Fried Rice (Rs 289)...Taste was something different... Average... Mocktail... Orange Delight (Rs 169)... This was really good, and served with real orange slices.... So our total bill for 3 people was Rs 1968 (Including GST) I can recommend you to make a visit to this place once. Food taste is very perspective to one. So, what came average to me, you may really love it. So, do make a visit and enjoy.

This is a wonderful little bar that is located very close to the Eco Space in New Town, Rajarhat. The place is pretty well decorated for a small bar. The food quality is absolutely brilliant and they have some really good dishes on the menu. Drinks are also available in almost every variety. People managing the kitchen are really good at what they do as it was literally lip smacking good. You can watch live TV for sports and all. Overall a wonderful experience. And lastly, the affordability of the place is unmatched. The kind of service and quality of food that they offer are simply unavailable at any other place at the same price point. Very highly recommended!

Till date I have visited the restaurant twice and the reasons being - 1) Location - its located at Jamshedji Tata Road, New Town, within walking distance from major offices in Newtown. Just opposite Gitanjali Park, its visible from the main road. 2) Variety of choices in the menu - I tried continental the first time and I loved it. I tried continental , chinese and mughlai the second time and loved it. However there are a few things which I preferred. Continental dishes are a very good way of getting everything on your platter and they do just that. The Jamaican Jerk spice chicken, the Lemon butter fish, the Peri Peri chicken were very pleasant on the tongue and light on the stomach. The chinese and mughlai delicacies - kung pao chicken, laal maash, kashmiri pulao were also tasty. They do serve their food piping hot. However the have started serving waffles, which needed a lot more effort to be made light and tasty. 3) Decor - the place is clean, has good ambience but it is going to get seriously crowded if therr are about 50 people. The lighting can be made a tad bit vibrant. One downside, the service was slow and it would get difficult for the staff to serve their dishes on time when they place is crowded. Must visit for good food , location and an overall adda center.

Being a non veg lover I opted for the non veg one. The non veg platter includes :- 🔹Complimentary drink ( beer/ mojito/ wine); I had the beer, it was a full glass of chilled crafted beer. 🔸Stuffed taco Indiana :- The Indian version of Taco, Indian paratha bread folded like a taco, and inside it was stuffed by a chicken patty. 🔹Tornado potato: The spiral-shaped potato was really unique and on top of that some spices and sauces were also there which enhances the taste. 🔸Herb rice:- Fine-grained rice tossed in oil/ butter with different spices. And a sunny side up egg was placed right on the herb rice. 🔹Spicy chicken sauce:- This is mainly a spicy chicken gravy with 2 moderate sizes of chicken pieces. It went fantastic with the Indian taco and the herb rice. 🔸BNB special dessert:- The special dessert was mind-blowing. 🔹The platter is available only on weekdays from 1 pm to 3 pm only. Price is 389/- for non-veg and 349/- for veg.

We tried chicken roasted garlic soup, bacon wrapped pineapple, thin crust pizza and Jamaican jerk chicken. Food was simply awesome, the waiter was very polite. We congratulated the young chef for the great food. But the wine shop adjacent to the restaurant and the shabby entrance are the spoilers

Just last evening, we girl friends landed upon this resto-bar. It's make will remind you of a patio that's very British. The colours, decor, barrels, flowers and the beautiful selfie corner took my heart! We had a grand time celebrating over amazing cocktails and some lip-smacking snacks. The food, service, drinks, music and ambience everything just oozes perfection. A must go place with family and friends.

Beans N Barrels – First Look at one of the newest pub destinations of New Town.!<br/><br/>Situated strategically bang opposite to TCS Gitanjali Park Complex, Beans N Barrels is one of the recent additions to the ever-growing landscape of cafés, restaurants and bar in the city of Joy. Looks can surely be deceiving though; the very first impression at this place from outside would reflect the presence of a beautiful and cozy café, with the aesthetic sofa hanging from the top, and the floral presence, draping around the lush green section of the floor. The other section of the café is a well decorated bar, illuminated by the bright chandeliers and the woody barrels decking up the bar. <br/><br/>Be it their café or the bar, this place serves some mouthwatering dishes, along with some refreshing mocktails and some fine cocktails depending on where you are seated at, the café or the bar. We started with Fish Taipei, which had boneless chunks of fish tossed in a green chilly paste, probably of coriander, and topped with some finely cubed bell peppers. While the fish was soft, the presence of the green paste is what stole the show. Next to come were Bacon wrapped Pineapples – Medium sized chunks of pineapple, covered with crispy fried bacon, and tossed in a semi-glaze of a sweet, sour and tangy sauce. <br/><br/>Served with mashed potatoes, the combination of the crisp salty bacon along with the sour pineapple was a match to look for. The Grilled Chicken Steak had tenderized chicken cubes cooked in brown sauce, and served with mashed potatoes and garlic bread. For Indians, we tried the famed Mutton Lal Maas, a popular dish hailing from Rajasthan. The fiery red chilies, combined with the sweet and tangy tomato gravy was perfect to pair with the tender Butter Naan. The LIIT had tequila, vodka, gin, old monk and cola, Bull Margarita had a mix of Red Bull and Tequila, Apple Sangria was made of Red Wine, Apple and Cranberry Juice, Planter Punch was comprised of old monk, orange juice and pineapple juice and Sexy Genies had Tequila, Gin, Grenadine Syrup, Tonic Water and Cucumber.<br/><br/>The last drink of the day, the Irish Coffee was concocted out of Irish whiskey, espresso shot and whipped cream. The Chocolate Fudge Waffle looked equally good like the way it tasted. Drizzled with hot chocolate fudge sauce, the crispy and gooey waffle had this mesh and web of transparent candy floss, with some drizzle of colored sprinkles here and there. Was there few days ago with my friends. To try out their BNB meridian platter! This platter has 2 variant veg and non veg. Veg(₹349) and non veg (₹389). Available on weekdays 1pm to 3pm. In non veg platter there will be a complimentary drink, tornado potato, herb rice, chicken sauce and BNB special dessert and stuffed taco indiana. The dessert they serve along with this is very tasty (recommended).<br/>Apart from this, it is nice place to hangout! They have 2 section on the front it is the cafe and in the inside they have their bar section. Ambiance was great.

On our way to Ecopark we stopped for a quick lunch .The decor was pretty amazing ;with a bar set up in the inside while a cute cafe on the outside. We ordered a few items with drinks. In the main course, we ordered choupsuey and some how it did not turned out to be good.probably the quantity of sauces was more. The staff readily advised for a change but we denied as we had to rush. Courteously, the item was deleted from the bill. Mistakes happen....but the way it was dealth is really appreciated

We went to this resturant which is just opposite to TCS Gitanjali Park. The food was really nice and worth the price. We ordered Chicken stroganoff and Chicken Steak and found both the dishes really nice. The Mojito was equally good. The charges and quantity per serving are quite reasonable and a must visit if you are looking for a dine out or lunch near Unitech, TCS, ecospace.<br/>Not giving 5 stars because the service can be bit fast. And the place is definitely not for a large group.<br/>Overall a very good experience with food and ambience.

Come here once a month and utilized Zomato Gold to the fullest. Good music and courteous staff.Both bacon wrapped prawns and cheesy baked mushroom were awesome and mindblowing.

And as compared now, the place is bustling with lovely restaurants and new ones coming up at regular intervals.<br/><br/>In Newtown; the Ecospace, TCS Gitanjali Park and Candor Techspace (Unitech) area is very busy on weekdays with a number of companies located here and with many employees traveling in this area.<br/><br/>And here we have a comparatively new restaurant coming up just opposite to the TCS Gitanjali park named "Beans N Barrels".<br/><br/>Few days back we had planned to visit here on a weekday. The entrance is nicely and neatly decorated with various items. Inside its a medium sized restaurant with around 25 person seating capacity. Decor is soothing and music is good. Lighting is as required. Staffs are polite and friendly.<br/><br/>Once we were provided with the menu items, we decided to have the following:<br/><br/># Chicken Stroganoff - This dish was very well prepared and quite tasty indeed. Its basically prepared with sauted pieces of chicken, mushrooms, bell peppers in white sauce which is served with herb rice. Those who love continental dishes, would surely recommend this one.<br/><br/># Peri peri Chicken - Just loved this chicken dish which was on a bit chilli side. Well prepared and quanity was good too..<br/><br/># Toffee Waffle and Ice-Cream - Lovely presentation, great taste, enough for 2 persons. This one is probably the best from the dessert section. Highly recommended..<br/><br/>Only area of improvement is the service and waiting time. Otherwise overall its a lovely restaurant with good quality food. Great ambience and good food, been there twice, staffs are really polite, no loud musics which makes the conversation quite pleasant. Nice place to hang out, even the sit out is quite mesmerizing. The bacon was quite delicious, specially the sauces, it's a must try.

Pretty Decor. Loved the ambience there. As it is opposite to my office, went there to have lunch on a lunch break. Food wasn’t amazing but it tasted pretty decent for the price. <br/>Would love to visit again.

The quantity and quality is pretty decent if not overwhelming. With Zomato gold, this felt like a pleasant experience. The strategic location will help them even in the future although they do take some time to prepare the dishes so for impatient people, this might not be the place. I like waiting as long as the food turns out well which it did even this time.

Please don’t order from here! Their prices are high and food quality is ATROCIOUS! <br/><br/>I ordered Szechwan Chicken, Mixed American Chopsuey and Chicken Fried Rice. The chicken was impossible to chew, extremely raw and the gravy was too watery & runny. The Chopseuy quantity they sent was not even enough for one person and they charged Rs.399 for it! There was nothing in the gravy except for Chicken and some veggies. Not sure why it’s called “mixed”. I feel cheated and had to waste the food as everyone gagged. I hope I don’t catch a stomach bug from this. Please DO NOT risk ordering from here. They will send any kind of uncooked/stale/incorrect items and later even Zomato will not be able to help you besides apologizing....

They charged us extra for the dishes than the menu prices. They said the menu is not updated but you have to pay what they show. They should have informed us about it. Irresponsible behaviour.

They just said that the prices are not updated but by law they can't charge more than what they show or project as the price. They do that with everyone. Ask the price before you order a dish. Recently visited Beans N Barrels. It's a nice restaurant with good environment. I tasted fish n fry ,tandoori roti and chicken kadai . Food was awasom .

Newly opened place in front of TCS Gitanjali Park, Kolkata. visited this place few days back in the evening.<br/>The cafe is nicely decorated with wall paintings and beautiful lamps hanging from the ceiling.<br/>We ordered dry chili chicken in honey, one fish starter and two chicken kebabs. All the items were good both in terms of quality and quantity. We had Zomato gold so got great discounts on the bill.<br/>Overall a nice place to hangout with friends or colleagues.

Visited this place on Sunday 24th Aug. I have Zomato gold and ordered chicken biriyani with chicken do pyaza and the restaurant person asked me to unlock gold and I did so. On asking for bill the Zomato gold was not applied and they told gold not available for biriyani and talking quite rudely from then. Although the food was good but the experience was quite bad.

One of the worst experience.<br/>I went there for the first time couple of days back with my colleagues. We were looking out for Indian options and the waiter told us that there are no Indian options available on that day as the chef is not well. They do have Continental dishes available only. But to our surprise - the 4 dishes we were planning to order under continental, 3 of them were not available. So, we left.<br/>Then we tried another time and same thing happened as none of the Indian dishes were available and only a limited options were available under Continental and the waiter was suggesting to take those only.<br/>#3 - We went yesterday. The Billboard at the doorstep of the restaurant proudly says - Pizza Sandwich, Coffee Mocktail. We tried ordering them but again for the 3rd time the waiter said that Pizza Oven broke on that day itself and none of the pizza items are available. Great!!!! So does Coffee Mocktail. Now, we should be winning an award for tolerance as we tried ordering fish and chips and for the final time the waiter said none of the fish items are available. When I asked him - why? His reply was - its finished but I am quite sure that's a white lie.<br/><br/>I was chitchatting with some of my friends and 3 of them shared similar type of experience with this restaurant. So, not only me - but same thing is happening day by day with others too.<br/><br/>Now I am not a person to express grief over social sites but sort of such experience is pathetic and all foodies should know about.<br/><br/>I really don't know why I gave 1 star because they don't even deserve one. Pathetic experience!!!!

Also they have many options to choose from. However they need to work on the serving time by bringing in more staff. Overall a good experience.

Located just opposite to TCS gitanjali park n a 2 minutes walk from DLF 2, a small cozy cafe with lip smacking dishes will surely make your office blues go away. We tried their Jamaican jerk chicken and chicken steak, which were both so yummy with unique flavours. The flavour of Jamaican jerk chicken is heavenly. Their service was good and best part they converted our order into nonveg continental platter and gave complimentary ice creams. It's very pocket friendly. Only thing, there are not much options in mocktales. Do visit this for a pocket friendly quicky lunch or dinner. It won't be disapointing

Visited this eatery today, with few other from my office. While entrance was some what different compared to the restaurants you find in Kolkata, sitting area was simple, without any extra item in place.<br/>But, the menu had lots of items you don't get to see in this part of Kolkata. Stone throw distance from workplace and it serves all pure and authentic continental dishes!!<br/>That peri peri chicken and fish with lemon sauce were just awesome. We tried around 4 or 5 different dishes, and every item was in competition to other.<br/>A complete soul satisfying food. Though serving time is bit on higher side, but all tasty food comes with a baggage ;-)<br/>Who cares about time, when it is freshly cooked and finger licking good.<br/>Would be visiting again shortly.

This place is on the opposite side of our office and me, along with my team members, visited it on a Friday afternoon for lunch.<br/><br/>Despite not having enough space inside, it's well decorated and successfully managed to create a gripping ambience. We ordered the Chinese platter and tried out several preparations among ourselves. The cuisine was delicious and the Mango Panna as well as the custard served as mocktail and dessert were well-prepared too.<br/><br/>But they took way too long to prepare those and must make sure of a prompter service to avoid the negative feedback.

Came here for lunch with friends. It is a descent size place with a beautiful ambiance. Food quality is very good so is the quantity and the taste. Beans n Barrels is a newly opened cafe located at new town right beside Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It’s a beautifully decorated place where one can enjoy both <br/>coffee and wine with their friends and family. However they have not received their bar license yet. <br/><br/> Some of their mocktails and few Continental delicacies were tried. The food was very well made and cooked to perfection. This week we had a small get together at Newtown.One of my friends who is working at Unitech suggested us this beautiful restaurant.Its located exactly opposite of Gitanjali Tech Park.<br/><br/>We ordered some ice tea at first and it was cool enough to put us in a chill mood.They haven’t started serving alcohol yet but its on the way.Actually it would be very convenient for the all people who all are working in the nearby offices.Once bar will be open here...they don’t need to travel 10 kilometres to find a pub.<br/><br/>All of us were so hungry that we directly jump into the main course.Like always there was a confusion regarding the choices of cuisines and thanks to Beans N Barrels as they offer pleathora of options.After a group discussion for a good 5 mins we had decided to order Thai Green Curry,Chicken Stronganoff,Kashmiri Polao & Chicken Do Pyaaza. Kashmiri Polao was literally reminding of my Kashmir diaries.Thai lovers should definitely try the Thai Green Curry.I will also highly recommend Chicken Stronganoff.It was a different league altogether.<br/><br/>In the end we ordered custard to satisfy our craving for dessert.It was yummy and something remarkable.<br/><br/>They have two different seating areas.Both the ambience are pretty unique.I am sure everyone is going fall for this kind of ambience.They are also maintaining some certain level of hygiene.The service was also very quick and prompt.They served the food within five minutes of placing the order.To recapitalise...my overall experience is excellent out there.I would love to suggest everyone this beautiful place at the heart of Newtown.

The chicken steak had a beautiful presentation, tastewise also good. Blueberry crush mojito is something recommended too. Price is reasonable here. They have some combos too. They have a seating capacity of 25 people. <br/><br/>Food — They serve a variety of cuisines from Chinese to Indian as well as Continental. My personal favourite was their continental items. Starting from the quantity to their quality Beans N Barrels don’t compromise on either of the two. Their prices are moderate and won’t be harsh on your pockets. So if you want to try great food with a wide variety of options at the same place then Beans N Barrels should definitely top your list. <br/>They have not started to serve alcohol yet as they haven’t received their liquor license. But they will start serving liquor as soon as they receive their license. Their barrels might be empty but their coffee is brewing.<br/>Would definitely recommend some of my favourite items which you should definitely try here. <br/><br/>Jerk Chicken — All time favourite from Bean N Barrels. They would leave you asking for more even after you have finished having it. ( highly recommend)<br/><br/>Chicken Steak — There’s nothing much to say about Chicken Steak. A newly opened restaurant opposite to TCS- Gitanjali Park. Had a lot of expectations for a good dining experience but was let down on first visit.<br/>First of all most of the items on the menu list were unavailable and things went worse when the staff themselves don't know about the availability. We had to change the food three times owing to the gentleman waiter who took order each time and returned from kitchen with a smiling face declaring the item isn't available.<br/>Next coming to food , they charge a hefty price comparable to some big fine dining restaurant but in reality lack the authenticity and properness to the food. We ordered chicken stroganoff which was far from being one. It was a clumsy preparation of boiled chicken clubbed with some rice and white sauce, and neither the quantity was satisfying. The chicken soup also wasn't quite up to the mark and it had no chicken. Hope to get an improved experience in next visit.

Chicken steak was really good,<br/>masala soda was normal but loved the presentation,<br/>french fries were crispy but lacked proper salt and had a bit too much pepper (for my taste) . Restaurant owner should get rid of the fleas. Its the 3rd time fleas sat on my drink and i had to discard it.<br/><br/>Edit : I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Today I am so disappointed with the grilled chicken steak's size that I have to say - quality of this restaurant has DEGRADED TOTALLY. the size of the steak is that of a aloo tikki that gets served as chats in panipuri stalls. The very first experience itself was fantastic.Food was delicious and the recommendations were great with perfect level of service attention.Meal served was hot and excellent.The service provided is really prompt and staff is extremely obliging.One should definitely try the Laal mass and Chicken rezala.I thoroughly enjoyed the mughlai paratha and mozzarella sticks as starters.To be very honest it is far away from my area of activity but I would still love to visit the place and enjoy its warmth, friendly ambience ,lip smacking food and great service.

This place is right opposite of TCS Gitanjali Park in New Town. They have a number of options in the Continental and Indian cuisines and also serve Coffee and mocktails.<br/><br/>We tried Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Mexican Eggplant Cassarole. The Chicken was super tasty and well cooked with flavours of jerk spices. It was simply yumm.<br/>The best was Mexican Eggplant Cassarole. We never knew even eggplant could taste so awesome. I made a visit for dine-in @BeansNBarrels. The ambience is itself soothing. Dishes are scorching above all.<br/>I orderd<br/>Chicken Angara: It's perfectly what it should be with a combination of light smoky flavour and bit spicy.<br/>Jeera Rice: it's a sofisticated one with a nice smell of the rice.<br/>They have breakfast to dinner menu recipes even a lot of delightful coffee and tea options.<br/>I must say this is a perfect restaurant that needs to be in mid of IT sector.

A newly opened restaurant opposite TCS, Geetanjali Park. The place is itself small but ambiance really nice.  The food quality is top notch. We ordered Chicken Steak, Mughlai Paratha, Chicken and Spinach lasagna and Jamaican Jerk chicken. All of them were awesome and tasty to its core. I would like to try other cuisines next time but for continental food they surely deserve a thumbs up.<br/><br/>The dishes are a complete meal in itself and each item was of price Rs 289, so not so hard on pocket too.<br/><br/>The courtesy and politeness also leaves an impression. <br/><br/>Do give it a try if you are around that place.

Every single one of those dishes were packed with flavour and sumptuous. For dessert we ordered Oreo custard, which would have been better if the custard was less frozen. However, this place deserves every bit of those 5 stars. Smooth jazz playing in the background, with Lance Armstrong singing "What a wonderful world" adds to the lovely ambience. A new place in the vicinity. Ordered simple mixed hakka noodles & chilli chicken dry. Both of them were almost good. The chilli chicken seemed a bit hard. Was recommended to order from their continental menu which I'll do soon enough. Will definitely try more from their menu. Relatively new place so I hope they become great from good, adding an extra point.

The restaurant offers a wide range of options in continental,Chinese and Indian dishes. Good ambience with proper hygiene. They also offer promotional dine in and takeaway offers. It would be better if the oil is soaked before served or if it is made less oily.<br/><br/>👉Second Time :<br/><br/>Ordered the below two items :<br/><br/>❤️ Chicken Thai Green Curry with Herb Rice : Firstly when I opened the Thai green curry, I got the smell that I don't like at all personally. Lemon grass smell. I tasted it with minimal will and surprisingly I was proved wrong. It tasted so good. So buttery and so flavoursome, with chicken pieces, broccoli, mushrooms and other veggies. And the green color was also so appealing. By looking I can say that it is natural not added colour. And it went totally good with the herb rice.<br/><br/>I was surprised how they overcame the flaws so quickly resulting such lovable foods. I'll try out this place again.<br/>Looking forward to experience more good foods here.<br/><br/>More Good points are, the packaging is really good. Two different types of dips were also provided with the onion rings and cheese balls and they've sent menu as well.<br/><br/>

This restaurant is brand new in New Town area. I recently had some of it’s dishes. I can assure that the quality of food and taste can easily beat others. The Kashmiri Pulao and Butter Chicken is a must try. If u want some good discounts and food ideas you can always call them and even talk to the Chef directly. They hold a very gentle and friendly behavior which I liked the most!! Kudos to you guys... keep making tasty foods and let us lick our fingers more!! Cheers!!

Great food!!! The service was fast. They have a good selection of food to choose from in the Continental, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Their Chicken Steak and Stroganoff is really yummy. Will definitely order again.<br/>

We tried the Beans N Barrels for the first time last night and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The restaurant seemed to have been recently opened, Overall a good meal and great value for the price.

Beans N Barrels has a choice of delicious foods in the Continental, Chinese and Indian cuisines. I had ordered, Murgh Mastana and Mutton Yakni Pulao. The food was tasty and delivery was quick.
