Hungry Tide manages a vast range of foods from Thai,Chinese,Continental and so on.This take away joint stands at Hindustan Park.Very popular in the locality the counter is flooded with orders. The place is 5 minutes walking from Golpark bus stop and 3 minutes walking from Gariahat Auto rickshaw stand. Prices are moderate.Food handling and packing quality is very hygienic and nice.

Good, we have ordered take away fried bhetki with chips, it was fresh and portion was enough for two people.

The food is really awesome. I tried out hot garlic pork and club sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. I was lost in a paradise. A must visit place for PORK LOVERS ❤️

If you're craving for quick bites or want to order any dish for lunch or dinner..it's mostly a take away place but they have a little seat arrangement in premise..They have very good starters menu and also for main course. They serves very different quiesines like Cantonese, Thai, continental etc.The double decker chicken, ham and bacon sandwich and chilli pork is to die for .. try it yourself you'll love it ...

Very good place for affordable continental food. This place is mainly for takeaways although they do accommodate seating. However would recommend strictly for takeaways. No complaints about the food whatsoever. The menu is extremely diverse.

Food is top quality. Special mention - Diffried Rice and dry chilly pork. However the prices are on the higher side and the quantity has come down. Nope staying is very limited and on the sidewalk. Places is aimed at take aways and delivery.

Great food. Prices expensive compared to a road-side take-away but not exorbitant Tried Green Chicken from there. Little off-location as it is inside alley. Card payment attracts some extra charges. Definitely a place that serves one of the best flavours in town. Can easily give the big names a good run for their money. Recommend the DifFried rice. Quite unique and great taste. Chili chicken, Manchurian chicken and Singapore chicken are must haves. Pork dishes are awesome. One will actually get proper pieces of meat with less fat. Oyster pork and Teriyaki pork are the best. Best Chinese I've had in sometime.

The all pork paella was loaded with ham, bacon and berbeceu pork. The green peppers and onions helped to cut the fat. The crispy Konjee Pork was a tad bit sweet which served as an excellent side course with the paella. The star of the show was the coconut chutney they serve on the side. Adds a unique dimension to the entire paella experience. Affordable and cheap eats. The manager did provide us with seating arrangements even though they do only takeaways. Pocket friendly place with some unique continental dishes. Students adda for sure.

An ardent fan of Hungry Tide for the past 1 year or more,have always had a soft corner for this small joint.Be it the ham mayo sandwich,the diffried bacon ham rice or paella,sichuan fish and the list goes on.Today wanted to try something new and ordered ham and bacon risotto along with butter garlic fish.Being a food lover I am well aware how the look feel and taste of a risotto is and had the privilege of tasting it multiple times from several decade old fine dining establishments churning out continental in south kolkata.What i received in the name of risotto was unfair,it is basically a colourless version of their diffried rice.No cheese not even micro proportions present.And the fish was stale it had gone black and was tasting funny!! Gravy was edible but had everything else but butter.Clueless why suddenly the quality and price has become inversely proportional!!

Today, I finally decided to try this restaurant that I have heard nothing but good things about. Based on my friend’s recommendations I ordered the Bacon and Ham Diffried Rice and the Devil’s Chicken (gravy). Oh boy! I was not disappointed. The Diffried Rice was loaded with bacon and ham, and it was packed with flavour. The Devil’s Chicken complimented the rice perfectly.<br/>The food came piping hot and well packed in plastic containers. Kudos to the Hungry Tide team for bringing something different and tasty to the table.

Excellent food. Ordered home delivery of chicken steak and chicken Tetrazzini and both dishes were outstanding. Quantity was good too. Would like to visit them for a meal once this lockdown is over. Highly recommend them.

I am a regular at Hungry tide and always order in the food. Last night ordered mixed thupka, pork and bacon diffried rice, pork and chicken risotto and pork in chilli honey sauce.. the risotto was a huge disappointment, looked and tasted nothing close to a risotto.. was more a dry buttered rice.. even the chilly honey pork was too sweet and lacked the required bite.. overall disappointing

Have been a fan of there food for the last 5 years, everyone i have recommended this place are now cult followers of hungry tide. There food is like the upper limit of a scale which no other eatery have ever come close. The to go menu, fiji salad, nob sandwich, bacon fried rice, shepherd's pie, chilly pork.

Had tried out the Shepherd's Pie and Fish n' Chips a long time back. Was happy with both the quality and quantity of the dishes. Look forward to trying out more items in the future!

Ordered a ham bacon spicy mayo chicken club sandwich and a ham spicy mayo chicken club sandwich. The sandwiches come with a pack of potato chips. The sandwiches are nicely made with a good amount of mayo given. On a previous occasion the chicken smelt funny but on this order we just had, the sandwiches tasted fresh and it is a pretty satisfying meal. You also get an egg in your sandwich. But basically you get a lot of bacon and that should be the main reason why you should eat this sandwich.

Hungry tide is one of my favorite places. It serves everything wonderful. The pork is succulent and the doneness is amazing and the chicken and prawns are just perfect. I love their meifoon noodles so much. I find their chili chicken a bit on the sour side. Its a bit tomato-ish in taste which i don't prefer.. But their preparations of pork and lambs are really amazing.

This place makes the best bacon wrapped chicken and prawns. All the flavours and ingredients are carefully cooked. The prawn cocktail and crab cakes are not that good.

This is the place that never breaks my heart. Every single preparation they serve are absolutely delicious. The portions are more than enough and full of love. The bacon and ham preparations deserve a big #Shoutout. Just love the stuffing in their Ham, Bacon, Egg Mayo Spicy Club Sandwich. I can just eat the ham spread and the bacons alone! HUNGRY TIDE MAKES MY TUMMY HAPPY!

I ordered chicken steak in mushroom sauce and bacon and pork deep fried rice with chilli pork. Quantity is sumptuous for two. And the flavours are impeccable. Bill amounted to around rs. 680.

A very small eatery,a perfect place for college students and also people who are broke coz food here is quite cheap & whats more surprising is that the quality of food will make u visit this place more than once fr sure,the quantity of food is also satisfactory.I did try pork here n it was too yummy.Also the noodles are something worth trying for.

This is my one of the most favourite places in Kolkata.... All sorts of comfort food and they also have great soups. Club sandwiches are lip smacking! People here are super friendly too! It's totally worth your money. Don't think twice just land up here.

A group of friends gathered together at kalighat(a friend's place) for some booze nd food. First we had a plan to visit a restaurant after having oir booze but changed our plan and ordered home delivery from this joint over the phone. There was chicken sweet corn soup, crab cakes,mixed grill, bbq pork chops, mixed meifoon,mixed fried rice,teriyaki chicken and shepherd's pie. Pork chops were the best of the lot. All the dishes were tasty and sufficient quantity wise for 6 of us to share. Unfortunately couldn't take pics since we were too hungry and it was getting late. Will definitely visit the plave someday and try other dishes too. Again just ordered in food from here, haven’t visited this place yet. So purely based on the food I ordered, I’ve given them a 4 rating. I had their chicken steak in mushroom sauce which came with veggies,french fries and dinner roll all for just 250 bucks. The quantity was more than enough for 1 person. Tastewise it was average. I’ve had better mushroom sauce but the steak was well cooked. The extra 1 rating that I’ve given them is for the super delicious free dessert they sent with my order on the occasion of their 9th anniv. The dessert was a tiny bowl of kheer but really delicious.

The food!!! You name it - pasta, sandwich, bacon wrapped prawns and even Paella (difficult to find this where I live)....it’s all so yummy. I’d order from this place again and again and again. Now it’s not a big restaurant but it’s best suited for ordering online or a long drive take away where you eat in your car. Love this place, must try!!!

It's a small joint. Hardly enough space for 8-10 people. People mostly takeaway. Their food though is lip smacking. We had crevettes a la creme. It was enough for two people and was cooked beautifully.

This is one the best joint i ever came across. This is a takeaway mostly with exquisite intricacies. I have ordered a few times and they never failed to mesmerize me with their techniques. This time i ordered,<br/>▪Chicken satey: This is a common preperation but the punch of chicken and peanut butter was intricate. Every bite influenced one another.<br/>▪Pork Mixed Fried Rice: The rice was made with basmati. The flavour of each spice was precise. The presence of every other ingredient did not at all made any one of them over powering.<br/>▪Hot Garlic Fish: Mostly hot garlic anything calls for my favourite but there was a piquant quality in it which made the dish all the more droolworthy.<br/><br/>One should always look out for options while trying new places. The satey can be a nice variation.

I can never get bored with their food. Its always a delight to order from here , still i took time to review this place god knows why. I ordered devilled crab which was a great start, following with bake fish a creamy delight, mutton shepherd pie i simply loved it and ending with Payella. Small shop in Hindustan Park near my friends place we have been ordering take out from here for more than a couple of years one of the better choices for home delivery. The cost and quantity I would place at medium to high depending on the dishes. One star taken for unavailability of some dishes at particular dates when highly anticipated the food and another for inconsistency in the quality. Starters are definitely the highlight of this place<br/>Must try: •Bacon wrapped chicken with cheese dip<br/>•Ham with cheese squares<br/>•chilli sausage chicken(cheap)<br/>They serve an array of different cuisines which is very unexpected from a shop of this size including European Italian Spanish Thai, but as I mentioned they are subject to availability.<br/>One of the few places which serve pork and they also love to put bacon in a lot of dishes even when it's unconventional like Risotto.<br/>Few other dishes that we've always ordered and never let us down are ham chicken bacon club sandwich with a side of chips and Spaghetti Carbonara with bacon(beacause why not!).<br/>The menu is large with lots of variety be sure to grab some take out when you're in that area.

This is a small and cozy place at the corner of Hindustan Park's list of outstanding cafés and food joints. Although the place is more famous for it's non-vegetarian food, being a vegetarian I still went there, they have really maintained the hygiene and not once did I feel uncomfortable eating there. There are technically no seating space but they have provided tools to sit on the footpath. The owner usually sits there and is really friendly. The service was quick and fresh. Coming to the food, I ordered for Veg Hakka Noodle along with Fried veggies, the food tasted really good and was hot for a long time. The only thing negative was the amount of food served, it was really less and left me dissapointed.

I ordered french fries and chicken spaghetti Bolognese once. The spaghetti was sufficient for two people but the amount of french fries were disappointing for such price (judge it for yourself from the pictures). Taste wise the spaghetti was very much spicy and oily I will definitely not order it again. The Fries were perfect due to the spicy mayo sauce.

Quantity was way to less. Food was hardly warm.<br/><br/>Taste.. Fried Rice - Tasted like it was from some cheap road side stall. The quality of rice, itd better I dont say anything. You might realize what I am talking about.<br/>🐷 Pork - five slices if pork the size of my two year old's pinky finger with enough onions to make a full dish of pork and three pieces of capsicum.<br/><br/>Guys I am not trying to be a prick. But for a combo at that price, the quantity was enough for a toddler's meal and taste equal to a footpath stall.<br/>Please if you wana make things better for yourselves please work on all the feedbacks. I’ve tried many things from this little place. The sandwiches are pretty good. The thukpa was decent. The combo meals are actually a lifesaver when you are in a month-end pocket pinch, especially the Veg Fried Rice and Chilli Pork combo. But undoubtedly the best thing I’ve tried is the Mongolian Crispy Pork. Lip smacking delicious.

Hungry Tide has become quite popular in southern kolkata. Their USP being that they not only specialise in chinese but also in continental delicacies. It was in my go to list for quite a while. Last weekend our group went there Finally! This joint is literally serving from a garage and it just has some stools for the people who want to eat there. A take away will be more convenient. Coming to the food we started with sesame and ginger pork it was one of the tastiest/yummiest pork dishes i have tried till now, then we had sweet chili pork which was also good, as you see our agenda for the night was gulping on as much pork as possible, so for main course we order pork loin chops it was served with mashed potato which really went well with the dish. The piece served to us was really huge xD anyways as chance had it the dish i was really exited to try out here was shepherd's pie which turned out to be utter disappointment. Other than that most of the dishes on offer will satisfy your taste buds. It's a very innovative and unique joint. Go give it a try.

It was my favourite take away and delivery restaurant for continental items till I got the Tetrazzini without any Spaghetti at all.<br/>I mean what the hell.. I have had food from this joint since last 3-4years. Recently, from last 2 -3 months , the standard has deteoriated badly. Last time, ordered chicken steak and it was not good.<br/>And the Tetrazzini had no Spaghetti at all and also tasted salty. ONLY WHITE SAUCE and CHICKEN. Not fair!!!!!!!

I ordered from the Pasta section today. The food was delivered before time and the way it was cooked, it can be definitely put up in comparison with the amazing pastas of Flurys and One Step Up or Au Bon Pain. There was definitely the smokey flavours in the bacon of the pastas and that's what I loved the most. <br/>Good job, guys. :D

I've received another food which I've not ordered.

I find this a very handy place to order from, the delivery is always within 45 minutes and they are courteous when dealing with orders. One of the few takeaways which allow customer customizations. The Hungry Tide is extremely cost-effective and I find it very good if I'm in the mood for some bologna and burgers. While this is not a 5-star hotel eatery, for the cost, the quantity and quality are pretty impressive. I recommend you order dishes which aren't too specialised, and are meant to be eaten right after preparation.<br/>Try it out sometime.

Ordered a mutton steak and got it delivered...<br/><br/>Well it was a disappointment as it wasn't an actual steak. It was thick mutton patty made of minced mutton. Though it tasted good but I wanted a steak. Whatever that was, it was served with a gravy, batter fried onion rings, veggies and French fries.

Yummy food. Value for money. Good continental cuisine. Miss tenderloin steak in the ala carte. Also choice of deserts is limited and mostly not available. <br/>Goid and prompt service.

Hungry Tide is one of my favorites ! I usually visit the gariahat one and also keep ordering at home, though not sure which outlet delivers here.<br/><br/>So here's what I love, do try - ham cheese squares, bacon wrapped chicken, mixed paella, Thai green curry.<br/><br/>What I hate here - RISOTTO!<br/>It's just not risotto, it's a sad sad version.<br/><br/>The only time they disappointed me was during Christmas or New year last year. Other than that great food, great service. Everytime.<br/><br/>Edit current favourite - Green Thai curry! My family loves it too.

Have been religiously having food from Hungry Tide. Have tried whole lot of their continental delicacies but have failed to click pica. The food is absolutely delicious. <br/>Couple of my favourites are the combo of Bengali fried rice and chicken kosha, the fish andbchipsband the bacon wrapped prawns. <br/>Recommended.

I ordered mix noodles with pork from swiggy. First I would like to appreciate for the food quality and quantity which they provide. The taste is also decent. But I am very disappointed about the variants of the non-veg ingredients like chicken prawn and pork these ingredients are chopped finely, you will not able to get the taste of it as it is chopped very finely. If you are above 50 then you can go with the non veg items as you don't want to waste your time on chewing.

Hungry tide is located very conveniently and the food is really good. It would serve to your sudden hunger pangs. Great food with great decor and location.

Hungry Tide!!!! Just walking distance from my residence so I have had the good fortune of tasting their food from the initial days. Quality remains consistent. One must surely have their meinfoon with pork with pineapple and peanut sauce, Cantonese  Chow, Sichuan, Seasome Anise,Lemon Pepper Chicken. The momos are awesome and well stuffed. Talking of the baked items....Baked Chicken, Baked Fish, Tetrazzini, Crevettes  a la Creme, Chicken A La King each one is worth having. The Bengali kasha Mangsho  with Puloa & the Keema Pulao with that special chutney is awesome!!! I often order the Keema pulao only for THAT chutney!!! One can barely be disappointed with this place...

Amazing food. Very courteous staff. Being a take away joint primarily the order delivery time would be an issue. The fact that it is so hugely popular just tells u about the awesomeness of the food they serve

Ordered Mushrooms, Baby Corn and Broccoli with Gravy via Zomato. Vegetable were fresh. The gravy was a bit extra sweet, but maybe that was because I asked for non-spicy. Quantity was good.

A quiet little tucked away joint in Hindusthan Park. While this joint is sort of a shack, they will provide plastic stools or you can drive-in, the other joint at Dhakuria has a couple of seating arrangements. Nonetheless, the staff are very warm and courteous. Do not forget to try their sandwiches, the Chicken Mayo Club is my favorite. The Risotto and Paella are good too (for Paella, try not ordering the prawn/ mixed, go for Chicken). The noodles arent super oily and tastes great!! Another must-try would be Shepherd Pie and Stroganoff. The chinese dishes are a bit too spicy and are quite average. Overall this is a great place offering good food and also does not pinch the pocket much but only when the weather's pleasant or you got a car to drive-in!

I have ordered from this place 5-6 times now, and I must say it's a saver when you are really hungry. The food is delicious specially Chicken fried momo and Spicy mayo chicken sandwiches. I hope they start providing spoons and forks though, that will be really handy.

I am one of the repeated customer of this place. This place never disappointed me. They don't offer you eyemelting decor but the food they offer that are mouthwatering, tummyfriendly. We tried the bacon club sandwich, bacon wrapped chicken, ham fried rice, fish n chips. I rated it 4 because there is one other reason, that is food availability whether it's 12 noon or 8 pm, whatever you can see in tje menu card everything is available everytime. You can visit this place anytime.

Located near college, I've frequented this place often. I like the Bacon wrapped chicken, chilli pork, Chicken in Barbecue sauce and Kung pao chicken. <br/>The ambiance is nice; it's a bit cramped for space. The owner is friendly and hospitable.

It's mainly a take away joint situated in Hindustan Park. I have opted for a take away for two combo meals from their menu. Their menu consists a variety of cuisines from Chinese to continental and also Bengali. I have taken away a parcel of two combos.<br/>* Veg Fried Rice With Garlic Chicken<br/>* Bangla Pulao with Chicken Kasha<br/>Taste of both the combo was good. Quantity was enough for one per combo. Very reasonably priced menu. Definitely a thumbs up.

First of all they delivered right on time at the high court which is quite a distance away. Secondly, their man actually knew the place and came to us without asking for directions.<br/>And now for the food. Quality of pork excellent. Succulent, melt in the mouth. Items we ordered were delicious , especially the bacon wrapped prawn and the pork with broccoli. I think I'm hooked.

It was back in 2013 I guess, when I and my friend discovered this small eatery at Hindustan Park. A small take away centre where we can get awesome continental food. The sitting arrangement was beneath a tree on a cemented pavement. We ordered, Fish and chips, Chicken and Ham and Cheese sandwich, that was the start and from then on we became a regular customer. We loved the place, the people and of course the food. Tried every menu as they updated, from continental to Indian everything and more because of the pocket friendly price and yummy lip smacking food. We brought our friends along with us too and whenever there is a party, food will come from Hungry Tide. Then this shop opened another branch at Dhakuria for subs and we went and hogged there too. I just loved this place and still today whenever I go Kolkata, I always pay a visit. :)

After a disastrous experience in Risotto from the Dhakuria outlet, I thought of giving it's Chinese a try. As soon as I put first bite into my mouth, I realized how big a mistake it was. Ordered veg fried rice with chilli fish combo. The fish was absolutely stale, smelly and scaly. It was not even chewable. Had to throw it. The smell was so apparent, I wonder what kind of chefs do they have that they dared to send it to a customer. Have lost absolute faith from this place now. Please order only if you want to get sock from the weeks old food.

Had the chicken fried rice and schezwan chicken combo. The food was delicious and the schezwan sauce was very spicy and delicious to taste. The fried rice had good portions of chicken and the vegetables were fresh.

Hungry Tide definitely comes under the Student Faves collection. I have been visiting this place for a long time now. I have tried almost all the items from the menu and I have never been disappointed. My personal favourite is their Green Chilli Pork. 😊

I'm not a fan of eating at takeaways but had heard a lot about this brand, hence, gave it a shot. <br/>This is almost a decade old brand with 3 outlets across Kolkata. <br/>The staff has amazing attitude but what falls back is the food. Considering a takeaway, has a great menu but the food is all about cheese and grease.<br/>We ordered the mixed paella, bacon and chicken appasinnato and a chicken sandwich.<br/>The quantity is great, the food looks good but is oozing with cheese and grease. Keeping aside the fact that I'm health conscious, no one in today's time would consider food that is unhealthy. <br/>Extremely average, not recommended!

Got introduced to this place by scrolling through the restaurant menu in the Swiggy App and ever since this has become my go to place. <br/>Amazing food in terms of taste & quality served hot & fresh! Service is really quick.<br/>Only drawback is that there's no inside sitting area. Just a few chairs laid outside the outlet. So it's only good for take away. <br/>But the huge menu and the fine taste makes it worth it. <br/>Favourite dishes : Green chilli Pork (dry) , Rice/Noodles + Szechwan Chicken combo, Club Sandwishes, Crunchy chilly lamb (dry)

I have been very faithful hungry bloke here from time to time. Almost all the time, I get the food delivered and they never ever disappointed me so far in 3 years. Even my parents are a big fan of this place. Should try Baked fish with choice of sauce, cordon blue chicken, cider chicken. I would recommend to try out all the dishes if people truly have a good taste bud.

Just next door to my office, i have had the opportunity to taste multiple items on their menu and thus get a proper opinion.<br/>The items that i have had the opportunity to taste are as follows :<br/><br/>1. Veg club sandwich<br/>2. Chicken ham and bacon club sandwich<br/>3. Thai curry with rice<br/>4. Chili chicken and fried rice combo<br/>5. Bangla fried rice and kasha mangsho<br/><br/>1. The veg sandwich was very simple yet had the necessary zing to it. It could use a bit more ingredients but overall quite filling<br/><br/>2. The bacon and chicken ham club sandwich is probably my favourite so far. The dressing compliments the cheese and ingredients and is just enough for a much awaited lunch.<br/><br/>3. The thai curry was probably the hottest one i have tasted so far. It was too hot to taste and i couldnt finish two mouthfuls before passing it on. However the ingredients and quantity was good enough.<br/><br/>4 and 5. Now this is where i have an issue. Their fried rice pulao and every other rice dish tastes exactly the same. Although the chicken sides were good enough the the rice itself was tasty, there is no need in my opinion if to give so many names on the menu if the same rice is being served in all the combos.<br/><br/>Overall a good experience

One of my favourite place where i can get the best of dishes. All the foodies can order food through Zomato and swiggy. The owners are very friendly and would suggest you the mouth watering dishes. Lovely place for the lovely people who loves food and loves to try some awesome dishes.

Ordered from here for the first time. The Pork hakka chow was okay. It had good amount of pork in it, not too oily, however the only thing it lacked was a good amount of spices. Plus when the food came, it was already cold. But you can give this place a try.

Continental under tree. That's what i call this place.. Pawan items are must try. All day breakfast platter comes first on list. Sandwich is heavy and price worth. Fish n chips can be hour dinner....

I have been reaching out to hungry tide for a couple of times recently when my office hunger becomes unbearable. I am a momo lover and thought of trying this outlet one day and I was taken by surprise with the quality quantity and fast delivery from the restaurant. Chicken Steam Momo, Chicken fried and pan fried Momo, all we're of great taste. Many restaurants make the pan fried one too tangy and saucy making the momos break and lose it's body. However I simply​ loved the balanced taste of the spices in their case. Today I ordered Chicken Spaghetti Bolongese. It came tidy in a nice box, hot and fresh. Taste and quantity worth the money. 1 portion was enough for 2 people. Loved the experience so far. Looking forward to try some more dishes. Haven't visited the place in person. All orders were for home delivery.

This is a long overdue review. This outlet of Hungry Tide was mostly a take away one. I hadn't expected much from the dishes but I remember being clearly blown away by the quality of food. The momos were soft, full of succulent meat, with a rich, spicy, red sauce. The Bacon & Ham Apassionata rice was full of meat bits and extremely tasty. My only regret after the meal was why we had gotten only two dishes! Unfortunately, I was not in Kolkata for a long time after that, but now that I am back, I can't wait to go back to this tiny piece of heaven!

Ordered the spicy mayo bacon sandwich just yesterday. I think I was full till dinner. Love the amount of meat, veggies and mayo goes into this mouth-watering dish. Will love to visit the place once. Scheduling time becomes the enemy. Thank you for letting me love bacon again
