Had a dhaniya dosa and a couple of idlis. Tasted excellent. The dosa was spicy, which is the way I like it. Sambar and the chutney tasted good. I just hope they implement UPI payments as it is quite inconvenient to carry cash these days

Ordered idly and dosa today and to my surprise the freshly made idlis are super soft and tasty 😋 Dosa is also very good. Comparable and better than some renowned South Indian food outlets in the city 👍 Should maintain and continue the good service

Good was not freshed . The sambar was not well cooked. The dals were not boiled. They were hart to chew. The coconut chatni was not fresh. Feels like 5days old chatni. Iam facing acidity issues after having for lunch. Had ordered a lassi too but scared to drink it. The lassi and the left over chatni and a piece of idli as well is kept intact in the fridge. Very disappointed

I ordered cheese masala dosa but they send masala dosa. They skip cheese so, why I have been charge for cheese masala dosa and on top of that the food was cold, no taste at all. I am totally disappointed with this kind of worse service and fraud. How to reach them. Even the valet who delivered the food didn't respond to my calls because that idiot was trying to help them to avoid this complain. I will never place any order from this app. Due to this I loose trust for online shopping. Please look at the pic below which will speak the truth.

Medium standard dosas available here. Tried their cheese and onion dosas. Dahi vada was good. Only a bench serves as a sitting place outside the shop, or else have to eat while standing. Suitable for a quick bite.

I ordered through swiggy and the food was delivered within an hour which was commendable. I will not be able to comment on the decor and ambience as it was a home delivery. I ordered masala dosa, sada vada and idli. The items were neatly packed with good amount of sambar and chutney. The dosa became a little soggy. The masala in the dosa was quite tasty. The idli was kind of in an awkward shape. Overall an average experience.

Idlis, chutney and sambar were tasty. Hope the restaurant is clean and it uses good materials, filtered water and branded oil. Hope Zomato is conscious of the need to ensure that restaurants covered by it are following the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Located opposite to SBI bank, this place is almost blink and you miss type. Ordered a simple masala dosa and idli sambhar. Dosa was ok but idli was not so good. Too soft and not well prepared. 3 stars for the service there but the food needs work.

I am a south indian food lover 😋 so this place is favrte for me. Ordered idli and sambar bada by swiggy from this cafe. One plate idly includes two pieces of idly..it is applicable for bada also. They provide coconut chatney and sambar chatney more than enough in quantity. Food quality is good and apt place for those who loves south indian dishes.

South Indian Cafe is a take away joint which serves South Indian dishes at an affordable price. It is located in Tollygunge near Mudiali Ambience is shabby but service is prompt. Tried Aloo vada & dahi vada. Aloo vada was crispy and was yummy. Dahi Vara was very tasty and chatpata. Overall a nice place.

Ordered aloo vada and Masala dosa from this outlet on the 1st day of 2017. The dishes were reasonable priced. The aloo vada has a crisp outer coverage unlike those soggy ones. The special attraction for me was the extra tomato red chutney served. The marsala dosa was equally tasty with sufficient filling of the potato curry. All in all a satisfying food experience.

Tried their masala Dosa via delivery. The food was pretty average! The sambhar n chutney were okay and somehow the Dosa wasn't tasting too well. Possible that the delivery made it very soggy. But overall the food experience was quite average. Finally saw the place one day and was not happy with the open kitchen. It is almost a roadside eatery. Regretted ordering from here ( looked very unhygienic) Giving this a miss!

I have visited this place many times, as it is near my house. Good South Indian food is available here at cheap prices. Though you won't find the cooking very hygienic. That being a big minus point for a restaurant which is situated on the road. Speciality here is Butter Masala Dosa. Not a bad place though if you are a foodie.

This place is near to my house so i get a chance to visit it once in a month atleast. So today I ordered for 2 plates of dahi vada. Unfortunately only one plate was left. I had to have one only! taste- 8/10 ambience- 4/10 cost - very very cheap. It needs a good decoration. MAy b a bit of variety in sounth indian foods. The place is too small to have seating availability! I will recommend the place only if you are too hungry and have only 50-60 rs in your pocket.
