Very famous and reliable place. food is good. I recently visited this place and had a wonderful experience! The location was easily accessible, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Never ever had sheek kabab so succulent, soft and juicy. This Al Baik Corner can get quite crowded even in an ordinary day, however if you show the patience, you would be endowed by the delicacy you would remember for long.

One of the best kebab shops at Zakaria street. Hands down on their sheekh kebab and kebab roll. The best. They serve a sheekh for ₹30 with 2 pieces of kebab in it. The preparation is done in front of the customers. Must try : 1) Afghani Sheekh kebab (₹30/sheekh) 2) Anda Kebab roll (₹60/roll)

Tasted their Afghani Kebab which was served with Green Chutney and sliced Onions. It was delicious and well made. I would definitely recommend to visit here during Ramadan.

One of the gem places in zakaria street. Must try Afghani kabab. I just fell in love with Afghani kabab. It costs only Rs30 but it can take you to heaven because of its taste. You can also try bhetki fry Rs620/kg. Chicken fry 450/kg. And they are specialised in rolls also. They are giving cheapest rolls in Kolkata.

Visited at the time of Ramazan. Afghani seekh kebab at Rs. 30/seekh. The cheapest in the area, but the taste is soo good. For 30rs you get more than you pay because the taste is heavenly.

Well if we visit the restaurant then the food and quantity served is good but if we order from zomato then it's service got poor. So I would recommend you to visit it once and take it out I would not prefer for dinning in because there is no space for dinning.

But suddenly yesterday I found it delivering to my place and so I ordered through Zomato. Chicken Afghani 2portions- simply amazing taste. Filled with butter and the gravy was finger licking good. There were two pieces of succulent and juicy chicken in each portion priced at Rs90. I totally loved the preparation. A combo of chicken Afghani, chicken special kabab and 2pepsi - the kabab was not at all greasy and filled with spices. Very soft and melt in mouth. Lachha paratha and romali roti. My total bill was around 450rs . I am totally satisfied by the packaging and also the taste.

The food tastes delicious and prices are reasonable, but there is no place to sit. It gets really crowded in the evening.

Al Baik is a major fast food restaurant chain in Saudi Arabia. It's like KFC of Saudi Arabia, mainly famous for their fried chicken. But the story of Al Baik Kolkata is completely different. I noticed this place few days ago on Zomato delivery menu with such interesting pricing. Added offer running on Zomato made it even more affordable. Usually cheap restaurants like this compromises too much on food quality and end up with a poor rating. But here it was rated quite high, so I though why not give it a try! They are currently delivering Afghani, Kebabs & Chinese. So, I went with a different combo this time. I ordered Afghani Chicken with Lachha and the food was delivered hot. Afghani Chicken @ Rs.260 (4/5) : ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Smoky hot, highly grilled chicken pieces cooked in white gravy with Afghani spices was just superb rich in taste. Flavours was overflown and chicken pieces made me much more hunger. Portion was great with number of small broken to full sized chicken leg pieces. Lachha or Rumali Roti with it is just finger licking. Lachha Paratha @ Rs.10 (4/5) : -------------------------------------------------------------- Believe me, it was a kind of real Lachha not regular Paratha. By that I mean I've hardly seen this big and solid parathas in a while. Paratha's were really really thick but well fried in layers. It was bit oily still okey for the price. Conclusion : ---------------------------------- If you're looking for some finger licking food in killer quantity to fill your super hungry tummy and you're tight on budget, there is no better option than Al Baik in Bara Bazar area. I will definitely try their Chinese later on, highly recommended for now.

Veryyyyyy bad quality

Loved the taste. The portion are very filling. I have ordered Chinese and Mughlai mostly and they did a great job in both the cuisines.

They're really good for the price, though the chilly chicken pieces are really small. But the taste of the food is good.

Taste of chicken tandoori was lip smacking. But tried chicken biryani once turned out to be a bad experience.

It was worth every penny. Just the paratha was little hard to bite.

I m reita chowdhury, councillor 41 ward, i like ur kababs& other dishes, 2 days back i ordered combo chicken special biriyani & roll, d paratha was nice but where is chicken & onion inside stufing, inside was sauce & 2 small pieces chicken & not supposed any onion. <br/>Sorry to say next time i wil not order for few type of food. Much hyped on google too much oily and mutton pieces are bones rice kewra yellow Color mixed post receiving the order!will send the bones for evaluation of type of animal meat ,worthless will report it to FASSAI to inspect as for sure it was a leftover food!

Had the worst experience today. The food was not at all good. The biriyani was tasteless and the tikka butter masala was full of oil

I ordered Mutton bhuna and Chicken reshmi butter masala, the mutton bhuna was supposed to be in keema form but when it was delivered it was 3 chunks of mutton pieces. The gravy was ok but the mutton pieces were smelling very bad. Plus the chicken reshmi butter masala had sour taste and no taste of the spices. Didn't expect such food quality as I had already ordered here before.

i physically visit there for kabab, i saw restaurant located in dirty place and who made the kabab he also not maintaining hygiene.this restaurant only known as a cheapest restaurant not known as a great taste and well hygienic.

The place is situated in Bara Bazar. This is a very famous place to visit during eid. So i recently ordered afghani tandoori chicken and chicken biriyani. The tastes are so good ame mouthwatering. Very bad experience to be honest. I have ordered 6 egg chicken chowmin for friends through zomato. Bt they provided us egg chowmin instead of egg chicken. And there is no response from their side.<br/>Really bad experience.

Today i ordered chilly chicken from this restaurant. Food quality is very bad. Moreover they are offering 8 pcs of chicken but rcvd only 3 pcs. Taste is worst. Total loss of money. Zomato, never ever recomend this type of restaurant to your customer.

Ordered for a two special chicken biryani. And received only one piece of chicken in each biryani. The quantity was less too. Not sure even if they knows the meaning of biryani.. it was more of a rice and chicken kasha preparation. The rice was dry and very sticky. One is definitely gonna fall ill after consumption of their product !

I ordered Afghani and chicken biryani combo. Biryani was good but the Afghani was 100% raw just they added the gravy(check the pic). Though they refunded full but it leaves a bad experience. Special props to the 'Special Chicken Kebab'. Two plates of those are all you need for a protein-packed, flavourful meal, and doesn't burn much of a hole in the pocket as well!

Such an gidden gem outlet. My all time favourite north Indian takeaway though they serve Chinese too. Ordered several times from Zomato. Right from their tikka biriyani to chicken Afghani, essences maintained in everything. Taste is extremely succulent. Other than their packing everything is on point.

Today m ordered chicken tikka biriyani after reading all the mix comment in the review section. According to the price the food was amazing and quantity was enough for 1 person.. You dont expect arsalan kind of biryani in this price so its worth the money..

Ordered a paneer roll from this place for delivery and was pretty content with the overall experience! Kudos to Zomato for delivering from a place which is so distant from my house!<br/>The parota was soggy though and became a bit chewy by the time we could have it – but the same was duly compensated by the generous paneer stuffing, onions and the tasty sauces stuffed inside!<br/>A pretty simple dish – so tasty!<br/>Pocket pinch is pretty much acceptable for the quantity and quality they serve!<br/>Cheers!<br/>

Kebab Platter describes two pieces of three different kebabs. But I recieved six pieces of same kebab. I like the food there, so humble request to the restaurant management... Don't do such things. Unable to upload the pic.

Tried some food items from this joint couple of months ago. They specialise in making tandoori items, they also serve few Chinese item...tried their tandoori chicken and. Tangri it was awesome...the chicken was not overcooked and it was moist.not tried their biriyani so will not be able to tell the taste..but I can assure you u will love their tandoori items.😊💞

Ordered egg chicken roll and what i got was hard to chew egg rolls

I found this piece of chicken feather in the biryani i ordered. The worst part was as i was chewing i felt something uncomfortalble, i thought it was a piece of bone, i was shocked, disgusted and retching so bad. Plus i was only few spoonfulls away from finishing it when i discovered, i wonder how many more pieces would there be in every bite i had taken😥.

As the price is cheap thus the quality is also cheap taste in not at all up to the mark #Briyani lovers do go with the price

The taste is average and size is pretty good enough for one person in such a good price . Pocket friendly.. College students may find it cool to buy from this as it saves their expenses..

The teste of the biriyani was not so good

We had ordered special biryani,chiken cheese kabab and chiken roll,except for the chiken roll nothing was good,rather the biryani was pathetic,the rice was hard and not at all chewable and it had a lot of salt,we were not able to eat it after one portion,had to thow it away,the chiken cheese kabab did not have cheese in it,rather chiken chunks were coated in a think besan and fried,such way they cheat customers,nothing was edible at all.0 stars for this resturant.

Too good for Rolls , Kebab items etc in a reasonable price . Quality of Chinese items is not up to the mark . But Biriyani items , Rolls , Kebab items are Superb here . One more thing, Being a resident of Howrah I ordered through Zomato at this restaurant .They delivered me near Howrah Maidan several times . But suddenly Zomato has stopped delivery to that location .So we are unable to order delivery now a days .
