Review Magenta Cafe - Kolkata (Calcutta)

The only reason for giving them 5 star is the amazing ambience they posses. A place where you can eat and shop and a very silent and cozy ambience is a blessing for people out here in Kolkata. This is a store cum cafe type place near Deshapriya Park. They have a wide variety of garments specially designed for women at good prices. Also they have few NGO made accessories which they sell for the good of the the needy people. Coming to their food, it's just so amazing at prices you can imagine. We had our hands on a few mocktails out here and they were damn so refreshing. We had Virgin Mojito and Pan Mojito which was just too good. We tried their Cold Coffee with Oreo which was so outstanding with its Damn chocolaty taste. Coming to the food, we tried Eatalian Wonder Pizza which was great with those cheese and veggies and corn which made it taste great and a must try thing if you visit out here. We also had Chicken Tikka Wrap which was a treat to have with its hot spicy taste and the amazing amount of chicken in it. Lastly we tried Mozzarella Sticks which was a fun to have with that cheese pulling thing. Overall, a nice place to shop great clothes and also to have a quite cafe kind of get-together with your friends and family or colleagues!

Very small cafe, located just behind Priya Cinema hall, can be easily located. Food option is limited but good to taste and easy on pocket.

Perfect place to hang out with a few friends over coffee and food. They also host monthly music and poetry open mics. Their store has a host of unique clothing and other products like essential oils and handmade soaps. The seating area, especially the balcony, is comfortable. The people who run the place are also quite friendly and welcoming.

Great combination of a concept store and cafe. Their ethnic wear collection is colourful and trendy. The cafe also has good food and great decor. Staff are very warm and helpful! They have live music and open mic nights as well!

It was good to visit a new place. The chicken tikka sandwich quantity was really good. But I missed telling the server to avoid milk products. And ended up eating cheese. A must visit for friends wanting to catch up or a quiet bite to eat.

A new trend is hitting all the right chords nowadays. Newly opened boutiques are opening a small cafe along with the regular fare. Its a smart move. Shoppers after a shopping spree will inevitably end up chilling out somewhere close. So why not opening a hangout zone here in the boutique itself ?! Voila! And there you a bit of both. Magenta is one of them, and surely it knows how to do it in style. We’re here two days back with our bunch. We’re curious to know what this place has to offer. And boy-oh-boy we’re surprised and more satisfied than what we expected. We’re advised to go for the house specialties. It goes like these: 1.Blue Lagoon 2.Cold Coffee with Oreo 3.Virgin Mojito 4. Paan Mojito 5.Italian Wonder Pizza 6.Chicken Tikka Wrap 7.Mozzarella Sticks The drinks were refreshing as always. Standing out of them, Paan mojito deserves special mention. Cold coffee with Oreo is also recommended. Italian Wonder Pizza was tasty. Perfect crust with selective toppings. Mozzarella Sticks were perfectly fried. The best thing to me was Chicken tikka Wrap. With sumptuous filling of minced chicken, these wraps were a pure delight. This has been established by now, this place needs no special recommendation. Just stop stop thinking and go give a visit. Go, go go!

I was at @magentastoreandcafe for my lunch and a little bit shopping. It is a very calm and composed store and café where you can shop your heart out and also sip and eat as you are tired of shopping. It is located behind Priya cinema hall In the second floor of a building and is very easy to locate as many posters of the cafe is put out side the building. After taking a round in the store we were overwhelmed to see designer sarees of ikkat, handloom, dhakai varieties. They have a huge collection of indo western dress and tops and blouses to keep your mouth open in awe. The have skin essentials as well as home decor in their store section.

They have been incorporated more stylish dresses n Sarees with their authentic soaps n small items. I love their atmosphere, one of my favorite place in Kolkata chill n private small meetings.

Unique concept of shop and cafe: Sip while u shop. Tastefully done decor, with good drinks and food. Only Con, small menu to choose from.

The food especially chicken cheese sandwich was simply awesome.The masala tea was just perfect.I redeemed Nearbuy voucher and the service of the staff was excellent.

The name of the cafe has changed I think. But it's wonderful.
