Review Amir Snacks - Kolkata (Calcutta)

There are only a few single screen cinema halls left, rest of them were modified into shopping malls or multistorey buildings. So Navina is one of them and still fighting with the multiplex screens. For me it is one of the finest hall with AC, comfortable seats and food items available in a budget friendly price. So to restore our old we should visit this hall. The screen is large enough. Sitting position is good for every seat. They have balcony facilities and tickets started from rupees 100. They provide coffee and chicken pattice at your seat with a nominal price. #save our singlex

I wanted to watch Jawan at a single plex to experience the mad vibes, and Navina seemed the best place for it. Seats are moderately comfortable, seating capacity is huge with two tiers, separate toilets for gents and ladies. Screen is massive, sound is great, air conditioning makes it quite cold. We got 2nd row seats in a housefull show but that wasn’t an issue since the screen is quite far away. Food like popcorn, patties, cold drinks, coffee are available inside the premises of the cinema. Needless to say, like the ticket prices, the food prices are also very very reasonable. Outside food is also allowed. At the interval, or any time you want, you can exit the hall and re-enter without anyone stopping you (unlike what we are used to at multiplexes). The hall is kept quite clean. The cheering during movies is crazzzzzyyyyy!!! People from the audience actually came ahead and started dancing during songs. Larger-than-life cutouts of superstars are garlanded at the entrance of the hall. There is a BookMyShow box office and Domino’s Pizza outlet attached with the hall. You can simply takeaway your order and walk into the hall. Parking by the street is also free. Of course, it doesn’t provide the posh experience of a multiplex in a mall , but it embodies the old world charm of the cinemas and is quite a decent one of the city.

It's reasonable price and good. Tickets range from 180-250 you get clear bright big screen, thumping well balanced sound, comfortable seats, nice snacks, decent toilets, what else is required! This place is surely better than many other popular theaters in the city and undoubtedly offers more value for money than most of the multiplexes. Also available on book my show. You get a good experience of old single screen cinema hall. Snacks are also cheaper than multiplex. Parking is small.

The cinema hall was generally good, with comfortable seating and a decent sound system. However, the ticket price did not reflect the quality of the experience, as it was quite expensive for a standard cinema hall.

Seat alignment is not like multiple. But the seats are good. Overall it's a very good experience as the ticket price is also very reasonable. Foods are very affordable inside the hall. Must visit if you want to watch the same movie within less ticket price

Dress circle seats are good and the view is nice. AC was pretty chill. The best thing is the crowd reaction and you won't get that anywhere else and only in single screen theatres like this. Watched jawan and leo here.

Excellent experience at a reasonable price. I booked tickets in premium ( rs 130) and it looks same as in inox. And the AC is too cool. Overall experience is very good. I suggest if you have a low budget then go for it.

Navina Cinema is love. Why? Because in this genre of PVR INOX Cinepolis single screens are removed day by day. But at Kolkata in Navina in 100 Rs. you will see cinemas with a big screen, great ambiance and nice sound quality. The food serving is also here like popcorn, chicken patties, cold drinks etc.

Navima cinema hall is a renowned cinema hall . Most of most are been shown in this hall . Now Jawan is going on . Full AC and big hall. Sound is loude

Very decent cinema hall . They allow outside foods also or you can buy foods from them also . Overall pocket saving cinema hall.

Decent single screen. It's good to go considering that AC hall and comfy seats are available at ticket prices reasonably lower than the multiplexes housed in shopping malls. Also, the screen is good and the sound is dolby 7.1. Tea and good snacks are readily available at reasonable prices outside the hall for savoring during the intervals. No advertisements whatsoever before the start or during the inteval of the movie. Also, the national anthem is played before the movie start which is missing in many multiplexes these days. Further, the audience interacts with each other about the movie in a friendly manner during the intervals and at the end of the movie. People you never knew become friends which is a big plus point. Such warmth is missing in the multiplexes where people mind their own business only. On the first day first shows of big stars like SRK the fans create an electrifying atmosphere outside the hall that is worth experiencing. Recommended ....👍

My favourite single screen cinema in Kolkata and IMO THE BEST!! The best picture, sound, AC with affordable price. Perfect place to enjoy the latest blockbuster along with an energetic crowd! My favourite film experiences here are Endgame (the theater had turned into a stadium), RRR, Jawan

One of the best hall in Kolkata. It is air-conditioned and maintained very well. Sits are very comfortable. The screen is not so big but it is curved, so you can enjoy the show wherever you sit. Sound quality is very good. Stuff behavior is very good. I'm giving 5 star and highly recommend to visit this hall.

To enjoy a movie, all one needs is a large screen and strong, clear sound, both of which Navina Cinema offers. Overall the whole experience and atmosphere is good.

Interior less classy than multiplexes but comfort equal to Inox at a lesser price. Added advantage is, you can carry snacks of your choice inside the hall or can buy snacks and beverages from there.
