I personally like the places , where value is given to the hard earned money of the people. This place is my personal favourite food area where you can blindly order any dish and it will be served with utmost ingredients and taste.
New Punjabi hotel is best in any kind of Tarka Roti. We loved their Chicken preparation also
You wanna grab some great North Indian cuisine then you must visit this place once. I would say this is one of the best Punjabi hotel in Behala. The restaurant is more of a dhaba than a fine dining restaurant, tables with benches are laid in the ground floor for sitting and dinning and they have a AC section in the 1st floor. The ambience is a lil clumsy but the service is good enough. The quality and quantity of food is the main pro points of the restaurant. You have to give some time for the food to get prepared and served. The reception is good.
Food is preferable, service is not ok, prices are affordable.
Place is just like a old dhaba... not so attractive but the food is very good. Specially tarka & Tandoori roti.

Come here any time of the day and you will return with a full stomach. The food is tasty. Can't say the place is clean, but its not dirty either. It's NOT family friendly. NOT recommended to visit this place if you are accompanied by ladies/young girls for obvious reasons. If you are coming at night you can expect some drunk people. 1st floor is air conditioned and food priced are higher than ground floor. I recommend mughlai cuisine here. You can also order a big lassi which will fill half of your stomach.
While it is night time and you are starving, you can put a stop over your hunger by ordering from this food giant in behala. They serve till 1 AM at the night and quality with quantity is something about this place one should tell his friends and family for sure. There are couple of staffs are working rigorously to ensure that how much footsteps are falling down you don't have to wait too long after ordering dishes. There are detailed menu along with price and one plate of delicious chicken korma below, sorry just for drooling. 😋
Restaurant's Interior is just a simple and typical local restaurant look. But the food here is just great. From basic rice plate to chicken butter masala. Everything is available here.
This is most famous dhaba in behala, good quality food.
It's not a very over the top restaurant or anything like that. It's just how a dhaba should be, simple and serving good food. The staff is very friendly and the price is also very reasonable.
Value for money! We ordered a few items and it didn’t cost as much as we expected. The quantity and portions were huge just as you’d expect from the heart of a Punjabi! I’d order from here again the next chance we get because it was worth it. All the dishes were buttery and creamy.
