Review Sharma Tea House - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Communication wise is very good... Easy to reach... A little bit expensive.. The quality of food is good. Food quantity is moderate. Service is very good. Long shop hours are most effective for us.

Sharma Tea House is a famous breakfast point in Kolkata. The place is very crowded. Their main attraction is their Kesar Tea ☕️is really decreased,it was amazing & also tried Puri with Aaalu sabji which was good. The service was quick and efficient, even though the place was crowded. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food you get. I am from Delhi & I visited on 10 Dec 2023 with my wife.

As the name says it's very popular in all generations. In the morning you'll get the morning walker crowd & on Sunday family breakfast crowd. The tea, samosa & nimki is amazing & the tea is fresh, that's the best part Highly recommended for an early morning visit.

Sharma tea house, so well worth the hype! The food here is so so so fresh and so delicious! We tried their luchis, kachoris, jalebi and kesar chai! The kesar chai truly stands out, really really good. The rest are also great, must try!

Their kesar chai and malai toast was a perfect breakfast after the whole night of pandal hopping.

Excellent service and great selection of finger foods, but the ambiance is a little chaotic. Parking is a huge issue, especially as the venue is right in front of a traffic light. You may find 2 wheeler parking easily but 4 wheeler parking is not difficult to find. The staff is helpful and will help you park.

I have been staying in Bangalore and miss the mirchi on the side that they give. So it’s a must visit for me to any of the Sharma outlets for the club kachori sabzi and most importantly the mirchi 😀

There are few gems in Kolkata and this place is one of them. They are situated at Bhawanipore, walking distance from Rabindra Sadan metro. They open up at 5 in the morning and serves till date. The serve some of the most likely Bengali snacks. We tried: Their famous Kesar Chai (50rs) must try Kochuri torkari Nimki Lassi All the items were amazing but Kesar Chai was beyond anything. Chai and winters are the best thing one can imagine of. They have parking spaces too, you can order and enjoy in your vehicle. Other than that this place remains crowded mostly all the time.

Popular chai joint near Gurdwara Sant Kutiya. A nice cup of tea to have over a discussion with friends! Tried the kachori as well which tasted very nice. Singara is also available. All in all a good place to stop by with friends for a quick evening snack!
