Great place to eat, the food quality is top notch. The ambiance could be a bit better as I feel it's too simple with some Mughal emperor picture, they can add a bit of decoration to really give us a feel of that era. Price is reasonable for the quality of the food and service too is great. Staff behaviour is good. Parking space is not available as it's on the main road.
We loved everything about this place. From food to hospitality and atmosphere everything is good.
We had chicken biryani and afghani chicken kebab. Both were scrumptious and must have. Had an authentic kolkata style biryani after so long. It was flavourful and had right amount of spice. Afghani kebab was juicy and mild sweet, exactly how it should be.
Price was reasonable of all items. Matched my expectations. They have newly opened a branch at Newtown axis mall. Can't wait to visit there as well.
Excellent food. Especially the boti biriyani and burra kabab.
Roni was very cordial and helpful. He served us and we are fully satisfied with his help and cooperation during our visit at Karim's.
The ambience is really very good !! The taste of food is just awesome !! All the items were at a reasonable price !! Staffs are well behaved and polite !!

Mutton and chicken pieces were juicy , fresh and solid !! Kebabs were cooked very well.....tastes really good !! Overall I loved the food here !! One must visit and try the items !! Highly recommended !!
Starters & mocktail were delicious. The Raan Biriyani was not up to the mark, the mutton piece was very hard & undercooked. Mutton side diah was ok, not very superior in taste.

We had Dinner. The restaurant dates back from Delhi Jama Masjid area. The biriyani was yummy the mutton was sucullent. We ordered mutton peshawari it was also great. The bread selection is also nice.
Took murg malai kebab, mutton boti biryani and chicken jahangiri .. food was really tasty. Price is on higher side but quality is huge enough to justify that price. Had a great lunch today

The starters were very good. The variety of mocktails was very small. The main course was also great. The garlic naan could have been better. The mutton and chicken pieces were cooked to perfection .. overall a very good dining experience.

Tried Malai & Afghani kebab with my friends here today. Malai kebab was so special. The molten and cheesy malai melts in your mouth while biting the sumptuous and charcoal grilled kebab botis. Whenever you are trying Mughlai cuisine, it is incomplete without having biryani. The Mutton biryani was light, less spicy, plenty and truely delicious. Yum. This lucknow styled biryani is the best thing that have happened with me today after a long time and will definitely go down in my lane of great memories. Firdousi mutton curry completed our sumptuous journey with splendid and spicy flavoured mutton chops. The tender and juicy red meats is a delicacy of Karim's speciality to reckon with. Kudos to the chef over there for making such exquisite Mughlai cuisines,& the helpful, smiling, well mannered Bijoy Mondal, who catered the warm delicacies in a humble way in order to us to feed our famished stomach &, a special thanks to Karim's conglomerate for opening and starting serving their food chains across kolkata to serve forever gluttonous bengalies. A must go for any food lover. 😊

I always prefer pointwise discussion. So no exception for this restaurant also.
1. Location: It is easily approachable by any public or private transport. Situated on the 1st avenue, it can be located by anyone near 4no tank island.
2. Entrance and reception: Good and well maintained.
3. Ambience: Sitting area is well illuminated. Sitting adjustment is good. The place is decorated with the potrait of the rulers of Delhi darbars from different dynasty. Music is also of good taste.
4. Staff behavior: The staffs are well behaved, uniformed, helpful and maintain courtsey.
5. Food quality and price: Quality is excellent. Price is a pinch higher than oter places of Kolkata. Variation of food is also good. Availability was 100% during my visit.
6. Hygiene and toilet: Hygiene is good. Toilet requires some extra space and renovation.
One of the best Biriyani & mughlai cuisine food.....We visited again.....
