Great food, great ambience. Ordered Hakka noodles, chilli chicken, chicken 65. Friend ordered royal thali which was huge for the price we paid. Quality and quantity both were great.

Located in baghajatin more. Had bengali thali there. Delicious food. Rate is little bit high but quantity is good . Ordered online many times from ghis restaurant. I like their bengali dishes but Chinese items are not as good as bengali items.

If you are looking for a pocket friendly bengali food restaurant then this is the place. Ambience is nice,staffs are very friendly. They serve both chicken and mutton thali. Food was really tasty and very much pocket friendly.

I have been there for dinner during occasions like Durga Puja and Kali Puja. Quality and quantity of food is very good. Hospitality by the owner of this restaurant is quite appreciable. My experience is quite good. Keep it up.

In this city of gastronomic experiences, everybody is a restaurer, tom dick harry everyone jumped into the bandwagon. Now whoever this tom is, serves stale chatni, unhygenic papad and some mediocre food at a moderate budget.Oil they used should be checked by food inspector, we are already upset with our stomach.

Few days back I visited this place... Located near baghajatin more... Easy to locate... The ambience was nice... Now the food... I took the mutton thali... It had luchi, Alur dum, rice, sukto, Dal, alu bhaja, dhokar dalna, mutton kosha, Chatni, papad & rosgolla... Yes authentic Bengali food... Luchi and Alur dum is a perfect combination... After that sukto was great... But I loved the mutton kosha... The spicy, flavour well cooked Mutton uff just excellent... Price was pocket friendly... Overall great...

This restaurent is situated at baghajatin more. The sitting arrangement of the place is quite big so that easily 50 to 60 people can dine here comfortably. The surroundings are really very cozy and family friendly as well. The quality and the quantity of the food is really really good here. The behaviour of the stuffs are really very polite,friendly and helpful. They also provided very quick service. The cooking medium is quite less oily so that it is suitable for anyone even with minor medical problems.<br/>I tried the puja special non veg thali of them. There were several different dishes associated with the thali. Visited this place few days back. Banglar heshel is located at Baghajatin more just opposite to Baghajatin bus stand.<br/>Ambience is quite good and calm. They have seating arrangement of 30-40 people at once. They also have space for get together or any kind of small party.<br/>I had tried their Chicken thali.<br/>Quantity was up to the mark and enough.<br/>Taste was also decent.<br/>Prices are affordable.<br/>Staffs here are courteous and polite.<br/>Do try them.

Tried their Chinese combo via swiggy. The combo had egg hakka noodles and chilli chicken.<br/>Noodles was really nice and tasty. chilli chicken was saltless but chicken pieces were soft and tender.

Visited this place on Sunday 29th,day after Mahalaya for a small get together. We tried Chicken Thali and Mutton Thali. Chicken thali was priced just ₹300, Mutton ₹350. Price was very reasonable. The thali consisted of ghol, luchi, aloo'r dum, rice, shukto, moong dal, jhuri aloo bhaja, dhoka, Chicken / Mutton, chatni, papor, mishti.<br/><br/>Coming to the taste, it was on a spicy note. Personally didn't like the dhoka. Chicken was very tasty so was the chatni.<br/><br/>The ambiance was great. Service was good.

Ordered food online and it was bad. Paneer butter masala was bland with very odd smell. The dal tardka was under cooked...yes under cooked!!!And the roti..foget it!!! And with big menu like that you can forget about quality.<br/>

Had heard a lot of good reviews from my friends about the place and finally had the chance to visit the restaurant myself. It was a hot afternoon and was recommended to try their gandhoraj lassi by the very courteous staff. The lassi was indeed refreshing with the right amount of sugar and salt good enough to beat the summer heat. The place hosts Bengali, Chinese and Mughal cuisines. However, being the 'bheto bangali' that I am, I chose to stick to the Bengali dishes. For starter, I ordered a prawn cutlet. As the picture might suggest, the cutlet had a very thin layer of coating. I taste was wonderful and the best part was unlike most places, the inside was full of prawn pieces. For main course I ordered their mixed polao and mutton kasa. The sweet and spicy taste of the polao along with the rich gravy of the mutton kasa is still hovering in my mind as I type this review. They were flawless. I ended the meal with a traditional mishti doi. The pocket pinch was merely Rs. 780 which was again impressive considering I had Bengali cuisine which costs a bomb at most places. Overall, I had a delightful experience at the place and would recommend everyone to try the place out.

I found the food very delicious. More than that, the oil and spices used seemed to be of very superior quality. Overall a very good experience and looking forward to give more orders from this restaurant.

I had the worst food ever in my life from here. Almost every item ordered were stale and smelly. My mother had to cook food at home because we had to throw away the entire food. This restaurant should be banned on hygiene and safety grounds.

This place is really a wonder to me. Recently I have ordered food from here and it was lips smacking good and the price was most affordable.

Wasn't satisfied with food quality. Order through one of the delivery apps. The rice quality wasn't good. Was beginning to smell. The fish was way to spicy. You can't have it. Only good thing about this meal was the Chutney. Way too good. Some might feel it sugary and sweet. But, i liked it.

It was thursday afternoon and the lunch menu was niramis(veg) at my pg so thought to add some more tasty items... So i ordered aloo jinge posto and cucumber raita... The amount was adequate and the posto just remind me of my home... The raita was a perfect thing in this summer and I loved it.... Would love to order again.....

Wanted to try food from this place,from a very long time. Located near baghajatin. Ordered food via Uber eats.<br/>Ordered: Chicken tandoor.<br/>Chicken tadka<br/>Dal makhani<br/>Garlic butter naan.<br/>Chicken tandoor was good. Chicken was soft and tender. Garlic naan and tadka were equally good. Dal makhani was totally disappointing! They delivered a yellow Dal(moong Dal) with some makhna and butter into it. It was not dal makhani. Not recommended at all. Rest everything was fine.!

Ordered Chana Dalna, Alu Posto, Dimer Dalna and Basanti Pulao from this place. The portion size was good for the price. The Chanar Dalna was delicious. But the rest were satisfactory and nothing impressive.

This place has been on my mind from quite sometime now, so yesterday decided to order some food in the afternoon. My orders were: Mixed Gravy Noodles, Chilly Fish & Chilly Chicken Dry. They mistakenly sent Chilly Chicken Gravy instead of Dry. That was a let down as I ordered that as a starter. However the taste the of all 3 were very good. The fish was the best. Noodles were of a great quantity. The quantity of egg and chicken in the noodles was also pretty good. The chilly Chicken pieces were a little chewy though they tasted fine. They need to pay a little more attention before sending the orders to avoid such mistakes.

It being a saturday ordered veg food. Three plates of rice was there in the order. But received the delivery of one rice. When it was brought to the notice of the delivery boy he contacted the supplier and brought back two plates of rice. But i would like to express my surprise here. First rice was ok. One of the second containers contained rotten rice with stale stench. It had started rotting. We had to throw it away. It was quite surprising as well as embarassing. This type of incident is sure to affect the name of the restaurant. So the proprietor of BANGLAR HESEL must be alert so that such lapses do not happen in future. You must remember that it is hard to earn fame but very easy to lose and once fame is lost everything is lost.

I ordered a veg thali and it was stale, the food was not for consumption at all as the way they provided. Really disappointed and such a waste of money. I still request the restaurant to please upgrade your food safety standards.

There was a time i was very confident with the food of Banglar Hesel. I have physically visited the place and ordered several times through zomato. Untill today i never thought i could review the brand this way. Just now i received my order of prawn malai curry and it was so very annoying. There was no good pieces of prawns, only a head and a small piece that charged me almost 300 bucks. The head was not cleaned as well and just sprawled mud on my plate. I think it was my last order.

I have ordered Shukto, Alu Posto and Kochu Bata. Well the Shukto only faired well other than that the rest of them, i.e., the Posto and the kochu bata were edible only but not at all worth the money. Just by adding lots of posto, you can't make Alu Posto taste good plus it was awfully sweet God knows why!!! The Kochu Bata was Runny like curry. I know how to cook and I have a blog. I thought of trying out the food. And I was very much disappointed. Please don't sell food which you don't know how to cook. Either learn or appoint a good chef. We pay our hard earned money not to eat disappointment. Even the shukto didn't have much varieties in vegetables which are heavily available in the market. I am not going to invest in again.

ordered loitta Mach jhuro,kochu Bata, stream rice and channar payes. kochu Bata was horrible,too much sour in taste. loitta Mach was good. but they have cheated on dessert,the pic shown by them was different from the original one. Very small chana pieces were dipped in milk, not worth of 54 bucks. they need to improve a lot

The name might be impressive but not the food. A average kind of restaurant . Mainly a kind of fusion. They do have lot of variation in dishes but haven't make the best out of it. Can't find proper taste. Overall if you had a crave for bengali food but you won't judge the quality then its okk. The amount they provide is not that sufficient also. Fish items are quite better compared to other.

I went for the first time on the occasion of noboborsho (Bengali new year) and was overwhelmed by food and the ambience too.<br/>Starters - loochi n aloor dum<br/>Main course - rice with dal, sukto that was made rich n tasty with milk cream n left me finger licking , dhokar dalna, potoler dorma which had stuffed fish n gravy inside with raisins n nuts, all of papad, aamer chatni and hot rosogolla.<br/>Over all what I felt is Bengali food consists of different flavour which has no alternative.

The delivery was really good. The food seemed 'just out of the kitchen' even after a 15min delivery time. The plain roties were really good and almost twice as thick than usual.

This restaurant isn't as bad as it's raining. I was at patuli n wanted to have some Bengali cuisine, searched for it and found this restaurant. It doesn't have good ratings, still I went to this place with some of my friends.<br/>We ordered so many items like Kosha Mangsho, Basanti polau, Mutton Thali, Fish thank, Bhapa ilish, Gondhoraj Lassi, Rasmalai.<br/>Each n every items were cooked perfectly. Atlast tried the newly opened food joint near my home. Suddenly made a solo plan to have my dinner there. Beautifully decorated a place it was with the essence of bangaliana. I just need to say one thing before proceeding for the rest. The music was playing there didn't go with the flavor and theme of this restaurant. It was cheap. Yeah really. Now except this one thing everything was decent and perfect enough. Stuffs are gentle and hospitality was great and most importantly food was of nice taste and decorated perfectly. Yes, the price of the items were a bit higher than it should be. Everything else was enough for made me happy and fulfill my appetite.
