Review South Pole Cafe - Kota

So this was my first visit to this restaurant. Seemed quite expensive sort of restaurant( btw it was expensive one though 😄!). They actually provide a better comforting experience for anyone that visits this restaurant. The waiter were quite polite and very helpful in every way they could. Food was quite delicious even though it's a fast food restaurant. I think it's a great place to hangout with your loved ones and friends. Only thing that I didn't like was the size of the washroom. It was quite congested otherwise everything was good.

Dropped in for lunch and enjoyed an excellent masala dosa. The dosa was very crisp and light with delicious accompanying coconut and chutney. its 1 of the landmark and best restaurant for masala dosa..hygienic and tasty food dosa is thier best and the staff there is very friendly.

Itz a great place...for hangout! Yeah bit costly! But a worth place. Must visit!

I visited this place on recommendation and i was very happy that i spent my lunch here, biting delicious south Indian. The place is clean, air conditioned and well maintained. Staff is quick and responsive. We tried Chinese, south Indian and beverages. Overall, both quantity and quality and good and satisfying. Well recommended!!

Good place to have fast food. The interior of cafe is very good. Dosa of this place is really famous. They serve Dosa with 4-5 chutney. Other items are also good. But quantity is little bit less compared to price. But you can still come to this place to have good food The behavior of the employees is also good

I think this is an excellent place for eating south indian food items, almost all south indian stuff available for eating. Also try their south indian thali it was awesome and the place was also nice. Seatings were comfortable and well maintained. Place was also clean and the staff was good as well, also they do deliver the food at home as well. And according to what i know there are very little amount of south indian restaurants at kota and this is a must visit place for south indian food. The rate is a little too high but the taste fulfils the demand. ☺️

Expensive place to eat... But quite peaceful and beautiful interior atmosphere... Perfect for couple and equally good for family too... But don't go with friends if u have a low or normal budget 😅😅 Staff behavior is not so good not so bad... Neutral types

I visited here I like the way they serve and quick service but taste of food is average. Cost Wise it's costly other than the other south Indian cafe. Need to give good taste in reasonable price. Please visit Indian coffee house of Indore, Bhopal, raipur, jabalpur so u understand the real taste of south Indian food

Possibly the best place in kota for south indian food. Great taste with a lot of options available to choose from. EDIT:- As many would say the sambhar was indeed a bit more saltier than it should but that won't be an issue if you tell this to the waiter beforehand.

Excellent food. South Indian (the specialty of the restaurant) was mind blowing. We ordered a simple Masala dosa, as it was our first time at this restaurant. We found it really tasty. Other items that we had like chilly paneer and chole bhatoore were also very good. It is a must visit restaurant for all the south Indian cuisine lovers.

The food here in South pole is average but their packaging is quite good. You can try Paneer dosa and masala dosa. The prices are high compared to the taste and quality of food.

Hyped Place. We ordered mendu vada and dosa, Mendu vada was fried again and again over the day, it was yuck. Oil was all over the mendu vada. Dosa was extra salted. Eat at your own risk, Dont go with high hopes you will get disappointed. Better places are available in Kota. Peace ✌

I had ordered masala dosa i think the packaging was good dosa aloo masala can be better the aloo is not that tasty the sambar was hot and good nariyal chutney can be better other 2 chutney are average just because of chutney it deserve 4 star

One of the favorite Dosa place in Kota for me😃😋..<br/>Mysore Masala Dosa is my favorite 😃<br/>Coconut Rava Dosa is also top of the list..<br/>Coffee is obviously nice!..<br/>Allover 4stars out of 5..<br/><br/>Suggestion😁... If it would be available Filter coffee would be much needed in Menu😃

Their South Indian is the best❤️, you could find out here and their chinese food is yum too. Don't forget to try their Sizzling Brownie with icecream 🔥

I found the onion uttapam to be really nice. The masala dosa also is delicious. We also ordered china Town sizzler which tasted pretty good as well.

The food was not fresh,they send the stale food,even i call the reataurant just after place the order that please send the fresh food,which you serve there,all the food was cold.<br/>

Certainly the worst place for home delivery, they give stale food from last night and the the drinks are also pretty terrible,Worst I have had in my life.

I have ordered last Sunday morning through swiggy....Food quality was worse....Food was not prepared freshly ..Last night remaining food was delivered...I have gone south pole cafe before 4 months ,at that time food was excellent...But now my mind had been changed ,will never use this restaurant again...They have degraded there food quality...My friends also told me the same,who were fan of south pole cafe ago few months...Very disappointing...

Ordered super pepper cheese dosa, spicy paneer dosa..and uttapam..excellent dosas. They use less oil in their dosas and still manage to make them yum. I also like their uttapam _again less oily vary tasty. Liked their white coconut chutney and red tomato chutney was also very taste.

Just like the name suggests they've a variety of South Indian dishes also with a blend of other cuisines.<br/>I had MASALA DOSA, UTTAPAM and IDLY,the only thing that I didn't like was idly.<br/>All in all it's a nice place.

I have been here once. Ambience is good. As the name suggests this place is great for south Indian<br/>food. They give you a lot of options for Dosa and other south Indian dishes. Chutneys which they serve are yummy. Shezwan noodles and cold-coffee are worth a try.

Good Ambiance good delivery but worst taste less Rasam and dosa. Never suggest to anyone to visit too costly Uchi dukaan bakwaas pakwan south indians please don't visit it will be your insult

A really nice place to chill out with fam.<br/>As the name suggests, South Pole is famous for South Indian delicacies.<br/>On my recent visit, I ordered garlic cheese, masala dosa and plain dosa along with a bowl of lemon rice.<br/><br/>My cheese dosa was perfect. The crisp was perfect. Plus it was difficult to consume it whole.<br/>Plain dosa was also as crispy<br/>Masala dosa was a little soggy because of the masala obviously. The taste was okay.<br/>Lemon rice: I still crave for that. It was tempered with pulses and Curry leaves and what not. But the smell and the taste along with chutneys was brilliant!<br/>Hope you like it! 🍻

It was my second i visited the cafe, but at this time i was really disappointed from the food side and service side both. I ordered Spicy Masala dosa and when i tasted it the ingredients were smelling and tasted very bad, the paneer was very old and the taste was buttery. While ordering the dosage I also ordered soup and said the steward that I want the soup before the dosage they said kk. I was surprised that even after stating that the soup should come earlier the dosage came first and whem we asked the steward said he was unaware as the order taker didn't informed him. After that the soup came very late like it came after 25 minutes. I was very disappointed and at the the time.of clearance the table was not cleaned, I thought the person will first clear the food and then he will clean the table but after the clearance I made another order of steam moms and till that the table was not cleaned as the order take saw the table was dirty even he didn't reacted or asked someone to clean the table. Finally I have to call the person for cleaning of table. When moms came they were cold and the chutney they served was also sinking and was very old. So totally I was very disappointed and I will never go and never suggest anyone to visit the #SouthPoleCafe.
