Review Astoria & Annapoorna - Kottayam

A good restaurant on Kottayam to Ernakulam road. The hotel is on the road side, plenty of space to dine in. Food is of good quality and taste. We tried their Fish curry meals and chicken biriyani. Their Fish curry meals is really worth the price, at 150 rupees with different fish dishes, it’s awesome.

Food was not bad ! Tried Chilli Chicken and Beef Chilly with wheat porotta and chapathi! The quantity was good enough and the service was very nice.. Clean atmosphere. Comparatively the price is a little high for food. We get a parking space in front of the hotel.

A good restaurant with seperate rooms for vegetarian and non vegetarian customers. Vegetarian Food is good, but not best. We had onion oothappom, Masada Dosa, battoora and juice. Battoora was nice and smooth. Pineapple juice without ice was also good. Barbecue chicken was good and spicy. Wheat cuboos can be made better. Service, cleanliness, bathrooms and seating are excellent. Pricing is affordable.

Astoria Annapoorna is a never miss out restaurant in MC road between Ettumanoor and Caritas. One of the best options for travellers since they have two separate seating facilities for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians. The food is tasty and has ample quantity. We tried their Fish curry meals along with King fish fry which was served hot along with Chemeen mango curry. Food was much better than what I expected it to be. Before that, they have two separate seating halls for non-vegetarians (towards the left) and vegetarians (towards right )! We went into the non-vegetarian one. We ordered Mexican Beef rice, Kizhi porotta (chicken), blue lime and green apple lime. Honestly, the Mexican beef was really good! The beef was juicy, the sauce was simple but nice and the rice was cooked well! Kizhi porotta was tasty! I enjoyed it, soft porotta served with really soft and tender hot pieces of chicken with gravy, wrapped up in banana leaf, it was good!! The drinks were good. Overall, the food was good! The service, could improve a little more, seriously! We had tiny issues with the waiter, nothing serious but small things. But the food came at the proper time, hot and fresh, and the waiter was prompt at all our requests. Here and there, a few things need to be changed. A large parking space is an added bonus. Good food. Simple seating so it's nice.

We enjoyed nice pure veg dishes in a hygienic & class ambience. We prefer to go there again. They have 2 separate restaurants in the same line with veg & non veg options. The classy interior is welcoming. There’s ample parking facility right in front of the hotel.

Good and tasty food. It also has a nice ambience.but i gave only 4 stars to service not because they are punctual but they seem to overdo it. Too much politeness to customers which makes the customers think that they are asking for a tip

Situated at the ettumanoor Kottayam route. Wonderful hospitality and ambience. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are available. Good tasty food at a avarage rate. Biriyani and thali meals were amazing. Wonderful customer service and good parking available.

We ordered biriyani, meals and fish. All items were tasty . Did not wait much to get the food on the table. Service was also good. You have the option for veg and non-veg food. Parking was available.

I found the portions at Astoia Annapoorna Restaurant generous, and it's always a plus when the service is good. It's a bit unfortunate, though, that the curries weren't up to par, especially if they were on the colder side. Nobody likes a lukewarm curry! But hey, at least the wash area was reasonably clean—that's something. It's interesting that they accept UPI payments, though the process seems a bit counterintuitive if you have to go to the counter for digital payments. It's good to know about the easy parking and assistance; those little conveniences can make a difference. Seems like a decent spot for a quick, on-the-go meal, whether you're into vegetarian or non-vegetarian options.

Amazing food!! Very pleasant and wonderful ambience. This is definitely the place for authentic Arabic food and delicious South Indian food. This place has always been a regular stop for me and my family. Highly recommend this place!!

The food is unbelievably good with very authentic traditional Flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the the middle eastern/Arabic food here. They have strived to bring the true flavour of the Middle East to the cuisine and this is so hard to do! Great job guys! This is definitely a frequent stop for me. #ProTip, their Garlic Paste is genuinely Lebanese. I've looked high and low for a place in Kerala that delivers this!
