Review Beatles Cafe Grill House - Kovalam

The food was good though we didn't order much. Its a beach facing cafe so no complaints with the ambiance. I felt the service was a little slow they served soft drink first and fries 20 minutes after that. The cold drink did not remain cold until then.

Totally in love with the ambience, the food and the service. We visited twice the same day. Must try their special wedges, and white pasta. Don't miss out the Garlic breads. The view from the cafe is extraordinarily beautiful that you stay there for a long time. Recommending without any doubt.

Fantastic restaurant run by Benedict. Great service from Lucy, Samson and others. Had fantastic top notch food. Very atmospheric. Have always loved this place.

Charming place, excellent view, great tasting food. We tried the beef fry with paratha, Travancore fish curry rice and roasted chicken with potato mash, each dish was great.

I recently visited Beatles Cafe & Grill House in Kovalam beach and I must say it was an amazing experience. The cafe is located facing the sea and has a great vibe to it. The customer service was excellent and the food was simply delicious. I have been here twice and each time the food has exceeded my expectations. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this must-visit cafe. It's definitely worth it!

The best cafe in the Kovalam beach. The food is awesome and the service is amazing. With a great view of the kovalam beach and the lighthouse, you can enjoy the food in a peaceful atmosphere. The staffs are really nice and helpful. They serve continental breakfast and their burgers are just wow. (This is my personel experience and I like this place alot. Everything they serve here is in a classic way(continental food). from reading the other reviews, i see that people expect a lot like other cafe's which provide food to the kerala taste buds, dont compare the classics folks. I recommend visiting this place with an open mind, enjoy the food. Im sure you will like it)

This is one place we have been visiting from ages …and what not to say this one hidden gem … lovely ambiance and extremely good food . The food is one thing which is above par to any other place . People who know this place will vouch for this place .

Went there thrice in 2 days. Perfect food and drinks. Warm service and thrilling views. Must try in Kovalam.

Good food with an above average price range. Ordered virgin Piña colada, veg cheese burger and cheese garlic bruschetta for lunch. Piña colada was great and the bruschetta quantity was too much for one to finish. Burger was also good, with cheese, vegetables and mustard. For a café named after the great band, they were playing soft random tunes(Titanic theme even), don't know why. Great place for friends to hang out.

Food is good. The view is even better than the food.

This cafe located on side of seashore near to the light house. As per my experience the cafe has wide popularity through media but the quality I expected from that not there. It’s only a normal cafe like all others, only difference is it’s has a sea face. So many cafés along the seashore of Kerala has more ambiance and quality than this. We can consider this only as better one at kovalam. Food items are serving in a different way that’s little funny. But going to the price if you are paying 300 something for a burger and 200 something for normal juice, then you are eating and drinking something different but reality it’s ordinary item. So as per price point of view I think it’s very expensive as compared to other cafes. Staffs are very professional and well maintained cafe. Seats are very traditional and architectural works are also good but it’s very congested . So privacy point of view it’s not friendly. The view from inside little small but the seats outside the building provide better one. Some seats are very near to walkways. So best time to visit after 5 pm.

Visited Beatles Cafe and had some amazing prawns and mussels in garlic and butter sauce as 'little bites'. Then had the banana leaf wrapped tiger prawns and another king fish also with the kerala curry. Really yummy. The ginger lemon pineapple juice was also nice. Service was very friendly and the whole ambience was comfortable. Sat upstairs but there are ocean views if you're downstairs too.

If you are in Trivandrum or kovalam..it's the must visit...really amazing food and service...the co-host Kyine was amazing...the cold coffee need to be given a shot...and the food once again was above the par.theview was mesmerizing..the street table need to be used. Great place for dinner when you need a break from curry and gravy. We tried their burgers and pizza, and both were good. If you see us with huge mugs, it's not tea 😉 The staff is super nice!

Best seafood the family and i had one of the best seafood meals ever. The quality and flavour of our crab and prawns was brilliant .the service was very attentive .

This is a shit place. I went with my cousins. After they expressed their concerns about the ill treatment to Indians and late delivery the owner came back with a sarcastic reply.Also he stalked my cousins visited places and commented openly about the chain barbeque nation jiski spelling bhi sahi nahi thi. Jitni jaldi comebacks k sath aaya tha itne me khana le aata to iski naubat nahi aati.upar se compared the food to homemade maa k haath ka khana..I don't know what kind of food you get at your house but mere Ghar ka khana bahut acha hota hai, nothing in comparison to what u served us. jaa anrejo ki hi chaat but bas likh de that Indians won't be treated properly in their own country in this cafe !!

This little cute place has a very good vibe which makes it stand out from all the other restaurants on the kovalam beach. I have read some negative reviews and was thinking to visit or not but then this was the only one in kovalam which has above 4 rating. Trust me guys the food is very tasty and service was also quick. Their farmers 3 egg omelette and lemon mint honey ice tea are must try..I loved them.. :) Good food, beach view & candle light..wat else do we need for a perfect evening!! I had a great time at this place..

A beautiful and cozy cafe with a beautiful view. One of the best place to chill out in kovalam beach. The food was really good but they took much time to serve it. Rather than that the service was really good.

We saw the rating 4.3 and went for lunch. 1st impression was, cleanliness is a its lowest stage. And the food was worst thn that. Burger was smelly meat and veggies are not fresh at all. Pizza was uncooked. Overall experience was bad.👎

Undoubtedly the best place by the beach side of Kovalam . Beautiful view of the breezing sea , and the mounting lighthouse. This is definitely the place where you can sip through tasty drinks like screwdriver and enjoy the sea all day long.<br/>Started here with breakfast. Beef burger , seafood omelette are a must try for breakfast. Pineapple lemon ginger juice was just great. Had seafood pasta at lunch hours and i must say that I was baffled. Simply superb. On an ending note, what definitely not to miss is the Classic beaf steak ( with butter pepper topping as I prefer) .

Excellent seafoods in all forms if you a seafood fan it will be well worth the while visiting the place their house specialty is seafood plattor. Its soooooo tasty.<br/><br/>

Situated right next to the lighthouse, the Beatles Cafe is the perfect place to sit back, relax and catch the sun going down as you sip on a refreshing milk shake.<br/><br/>We tried out the Chicken Steak Burger (absolutely delish grilled chicken), the Sicliana Pizza (with a generous amount of cheese), Grilled Prawns (juicy and crispy with a hint of spice) and Chicken Tikka (safe food, that never disappoints).<br/>Although, the waiting time is a bit on the higher side, the food will definitely be worth it!<br/>

Average place. Service is slow. Food is overpriced. Very limited cocktail selection. <br/>We ordered the cheese fries (we were served very fat wedges instead) killer pizza ( jus a regular pizza nothing killer about it) and fish fry (too expensive).

Situated on the lighthouse beach, this place has the best ambiance of all the restaurants on lighthouse beach strip. I went there for breakfast and was amazed by the breathtaking ambiance. Have a look at the pictures I have posted and you would know what I am talking about. <br/><br/>All stars for ambiance and location <br/>Food is good too, but I can sit here for hours looking at the waves. The place is done up in wood, which gives it an edge compared to all the other restaurants who lack the classiness on the beach. <br/><br/>Total love to this place

Did a lot of Internet Surfing and landed on this cafe.<br/>Travelled to Kovalam just for trying out the seafood here.<br/>It may look like your average shoreside cafe, but Beatles Cafe Grill House is anything but!<br/><br/>Entering the cafe I was I was immediately greeted by the staff and incredible aroma of seafood.<br/>Ofcourse seafood aren't the only dishes available but are, let's say the "flagships".<br/><br/>The ambiance was elegant with a brilliant view of the sea and lighthouse.<br/>The staff was very friendly and experienced as well. ( Shout out to Mr.Ashok, We had a wonderful time )<br/><br/>We ordered a full size seafood platter ( More than enough for two) which was a mashup of all the varieties of seafood available.<br/><br/>The butterfly crab, prawns, mussels, lobsters, squids, king fish and octopuses were delicious and perfectly cooked.<br/>What was even more awesome was the spicy Kerala masala which will get you craving for more.<br/>The cocktails were exotic, Hats off!<br/><br/>The light music in the background and sunset view only added more lusciousness to the food.<br/><br/>P.S. Could do more effort with the presentation of food.<br/><br/>Overall, all the dishes carry a rather high price tag but it sure is worth every penny.

Nice hangout joint. The boss is little rude not very welcoming but the view from here is exceptional & peaceful. I found it a little expensive then other shacks. One drawback they dnt give coffee or tea <br/>Just food shakes n all.

Overlooking the calm skies and soothing waves of Light House beach, Beatles Grill House cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy your shot of caffeine. And my friend and I did exactly that.<br/>Sipping on a cup of coffee and hot chocolate, we watched the sun set. We were served Killer pizza which was absolutely delicious. This place will definitely enhance the Kovalam experience for you. Unlike most restaurants in Kovalam which has plastic furniture, this place has wooden furnishing, which adds to the ambience.<br/>I would say that the Light House beach and Beatles are complementary to each other. The food amplifies the experience of the beach and the beach enhances the fooding experience.<br/><br/>On the downside, the restaurant didn't serve Steam Refreshers in the menu from no. 21 to 27. Also, in addition to indoor seating, there's open seating arrangement available in the restaurant. To completely enjoy the view, one should be able to sit outside. But open seating area was so swarmed with house flies that we had to move inside. It also looked like cats and dogs make frequent visits to the restaurant.

New to Trivandrum. Cm from Bangalore and Delhi.. never seen such a wonderfully peaceful place. Best view, best cuisine and great people. Can spend a whole day chilling here.

The whole experience was amazing . The service was excellent and the food even better amazing fresh local seafood prepared in wonderful inventive preventions this joint is reaaaally amazing .

This place is totally different from others , we had their seafood platter . Amazing. They served seafood soup the best soup we ...... excellent seafood in all forms ,if you are a sea food fan it will be worth while visiting this place .

When I visited Kovalam, I didn’t want to eat just about any dish. I craved for the different varieties of sea-food that this place had to offer.<br/><br/>I came across this restaurants on Zomato after searching for a while and decided to try it out.<br/><br/>The pleasant staff behaviour was one of the best things that I noticed about this place. I ordered Seafood burger & Fish in banana leaf. The food items were well cooked and tasted decent. The presentation of the food was decent as well.

Best place with great atmosphere and wonderful Seafood's. Heard a lot about this place ,we tried seafood platter . all fresh seafood s was in this big platter lobster , crab , octopus, prawns, fish ,mussels, shells ,sguid , grilled veggies . superb .<br/>

I just love this place. 3 years in Kovalam, and this was my favourite place to chill alone. Two best thing, the view and the music which they play. Classic rock ❤. Food is good, service is also good. I have so many good memories in this place. You can smoke, have a drink, and best place to chill out. Prices are good and a bit high as, it is a tourist spot. Do try this place out. Completely loveable.

Tried the Beatles double decker sandwich 👌 👌and the Egg cheese and Bacon sandwich👌. Both were lip smackingly awesome. Freshly cut tomatoes, lettuce and crisp bacon on a perfectly buttered and toasted triangular bread slices... I gobbled it down with a cool mango lassi... facing the beach with the cool wind blowing .. ended up feelin so relaxed and refreshed we vowed to come back again 😎. Loved the cool and relaxed seating and ambience..and also those captions on the walls.. (see pic)

Beautiful setting , excellent juices , Beatles is an interesting place. there are plenty of restaurants here . No trip to kovalam would be complete without a visit to this place .

Great view nice pizzas juicy prawns salads delicious fresh pressed juices .the menu has.a diverse of indian continental and fusion cuisine .we like the seafood basket mix of fresh catch .

Beatles cafe grill house is a fabulous decent place to chill...great.sea foods .starters range from 150 rs to 300 rs main course starts from 350 rs . Very different menu . If you like to hang with your loved once and to have a candle light dinner I would really recommend Beatles.
