Review Dilbar Chaat - Kozhikode

Aja Ram
It's one small stall at the Gujarati street. The menu is great. The quality and taste is good. But it's overpriced. I have had better tasty chaats at lower rates and more quantity. Since it's the only place you could find a 'chaat' I wouldn't hesitate to go there and have it. I might give a second thought after looking into the rates...

Had an amazing time there with bhel puri , masala tea and chats about work life balance. The boys managing the little eatery were so friendly and even talked about their recipes while preparing the food for us. Must go place if you want to try out Gujarati dishes near Calicut Beach.

Awesome chaat center. Had raj kachori and paani poori, was yumm... Paani poori was spicier than the usual ones and I loved it that way... I went on a weekday evening and was the only customer there, very isolated road and difficult to locate

It’s the perfect place to chill and eat the best chaat in the city. I have never had a tastier paav baaji anywhere else. I highly recommend this spot for the chaat and chat time with your friends.

Me and my friends chanced upon this charming lil place when I was on my way to our current favourite hang - Gudaam. The eye catching paint job on the walls scream out filmy 90s and there is not way you wouldn’t want to go in. The menu is pretty clear and to the point, offering only and a wide variety of Chaat. We tried almost all the items on the menu and it was nothing less than a tangy tasty treat. Kudos to Dilbar. Our top favourites were the Samosa chaat and we hogged plates and plates of Pani Puri. A perfect place to hang out and hog without burning a hole in your pockets.

The Gujarati Street is a wonderful cultural experience. Everything that the papers have been raving about this street is true. Dilbar chaat shop really lives up to its claim of authentic chaat shop with It’s desi chaat-wagon inspired interiors and walls and the no-nonsense menu. The Raj Kachori we had was perfect, Samosas crispy and spicy and Gol Gappa just mouth watering. We even ordered extra Jal Jeera in cup because we couldn’t get enough of the tangy goodness. Five stars from me.

Truck art on its walls and the only place in Kozhikode to eat some Pani Puri, Bhel Puri, dahi wada, pao bhaji, pao vada etc.... Manoj makes his own puris and papdis. Next door is an art gallery and an antique store. So go ahead and make it a wholesome trip down Gujarati street
