Review Wanderers Terrace & Cafe - Leh - Leh

Located on the terrace of the same building on which the more famous Naas(first floor), and Rabsal(second floor), are located, the Wanderers entails a climb of another flight of steps after Rabsal. Which means, few diners make the effort to make it to the third-floor terrace. The ones who do, will be delighted by the fantastic views of the Leh Palace and the market plaza below, minus the crowds at Naas and Rabsal. The dining area is in two parts. The open outdoor seating area with a temp roof overlooking the surroundings and a smaller traditional Ladakhi indoor dining area, suitable for chilly days. No surprises as to what customers prefer. The billing and cash counter area at one end of the terrace is done up in a funky style with an old Vespa scooter as one of the props. The abundance of wood is a delight, as well as prayer flags. Since it was lunchtime, I ordered a strawberry shake as an appetizer and an arabiatta for the main course. The strawberry shake, was sadly unavailable, so I'd to go for a strawberry icecream. It came sprinkled with nuts, which was an absolute delight. While the icecream was working up my appetite, the arabiatta came rather quickly in a beautiful blue plate. The sauce tasted overly of tomatoes. A presence of some other herbs would've helped give it more depth. I added dry oregano to blunt ghe tangy tomato taste. There was plenty of black olives and it was my first pasta lunch this summer. Very delightful. After the lunch, I lingered to enjoy the view of beautiful Leh on a sunny afternoon.

Had a Different experience with vivid personalities coming to the Cafe.. enjoyed a lot.. it was a random selection but the best selection made..

If you are in Leh please must visit this place. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and decoration. Happening place.

Went for dinner last night. Wow! What a beautiful place this is clubbed with great food and service. Had ordered pasta, momos and a few drinks. Their drink/juices presentation is on a different level. Wish we would have explored this place before and visited a few more times during our stay. Totally recommended!

Amazing place and wonderful nostalgic ambience. Pink floyd and beetles remind u of your twenties since I’m almost 40 years old now. Must try their salads. Though even dal tadka was wonderful. Not to miss at all

Drinks, food, staff, location - I like. I returned several times. In the early evening you can enjoy the evening sun. You can get traditional local and Indian food as well as international dishes. Good mix. Wonderful view of the palace. Right in the centre of the city in Market Road. Service is quick, good team!

Visited on 10th July 2019 If you are in Leh, its must visit place. Eat and Enjoy quite soothing ambience, soft music and the crew. Bonus market and palace view. I won’t say awesome food and things like that, but trust me, your taste buds will surely thank you for having it. Quick service and very friendly ppl. We tried- Pizza, pasta, Noodles, Kahwa, chicken tandoori, Smoothie.

It was a great experience in wanderers cafe as it was hassle free and the view from this rooftop cafe was awesome.. Leh palace & other scenes were too good... We had paneer Manchurian, hakka noodles & veg fried rice which was delicious in taste & freshly prepared. The fruit punch juice was fresh & rich in taste

Great view of the market and Leh palace, food is good and so does the music. Good place to sit down and have chat while embracing the view of the market.

Really enjoyed the food here. And the people were so friendly and sweet. The atmosphere is really chilled out and the view from the cafe is the best. A must visit cafe especially just before sunset 😍

5 Star Cafe and Lounge One of the best in Leh Top Class Music Amazingly tasty Food - Indian and Chinese. Lot of variety on their Menu including juices, shakes etc. Cafe owner (Loki) was really welcoming, cooperative and was ensuring orders are being delivered on time. Must visit if you are in Leh, Ladakh

One of the best rooftop cafes in Leh. I went there with two male friends of mine. We three are great foodies and that fine evening those friends only recommended me to experience the feel in this café. So I tried Latte and Icecream here. Loved the décor, the staff and the seating arrangement. We also enjoyed listening to the jamming session that was taking place on the rooftop of another cafe closeby. It is quite close to Leh market.

Great view, good vibes, good music, good food and the staff is the bessssst. Without asking, they shifted us to a better table outside. Despite decent amount of traffic there they were very attentive, proactive and quick with the orders.

Great ambience! Its a cozy terrace top cafe where you can hangout with your friends, family or even your betterhalf. Food is good and they do take time to make it fresh. Will surely recommend it!

Apart from the really colourful and innovative ambience at Wanderers, their food is amazing especially the Ladakhi cuisine. A dish named Skyu was particularly yum. Traditionally, it is a meat-based meal but they do make it using veggies too if you request them. The cafe is literally on the main market road of Leh. I loved the blue coloured wall on the way up to the cafe.
