I loved this quaint little cafe which we discovered on our way to the hotel. And I am so glad that we lost our way.
The owners were such warm and caring people ! We had the world famous Butter tea and Shakshukha… the plating, taste and portion was just perfect. I have promised them to be back during my next week. It’s a must visit place for spending a lazy acclimatisation afternoon!
Momos are a must try here! They are made in house and more importantly made to order which is amazing. The stuffing is very flavourful and the chutney is also amazing.
The coffees and drinks were passable and the service time was a bit high but overall the serene atmosphere and the delicious momos make this place a must visit along Changspa road.
I usually drank my morning coffee here, sitting outside under the walnut trees. I love thew view of mountains, river close by and giant prayer wheel that people often passing by would spin and you hear the little bell go off. I met some very interesting people here, other solo travelers and long term residents. The owner was kind and friendly and often helped me to navigate the city and we talked about Buddhism. But most importantly, the menu is big and interesting, they have a strong bold coffee and very good selection of herbal teas. The quality and portion of food was very good. It's a wonderful place to relax away from the main market and close to nature and Shanti Stupa. There also some very old Gompas and statues nearly.
When we reached Leh was down with cold and cough ,the ginger lemon honey tea from here was just the perfect remedy . The ambience is good ,with wifi available .Also the breakfast options tasty !
Our groups booked with Yama adventures for our trip in Ladakh… We had 2 dinner at Yama Coffee House.. They specially made thai food for us and the other one is Italian Food as Pasta, Pizza and salad.
The food is very good and i ordered additional Blueberry cheese cake and coffee.. Love the cheese cake and coffe here too..
The waitress who take our order and also serve our food is so friendly and polite.. she is always smile and say thank you every time you placed the order.
A pretty asthetic cafe in Changspa Road, Leh. Food and drinks were quite good and a nice place to chill.
Well the coffee beans is so good & of premium quality at a reasonable price. Not only food & drinks but the ambience is at perfect location, far away from noisy & bustling crowd. You must try cookies, cakes, Israeli, Thai, Indian & Ladakhi cuisines so you would not regret of not trying. If you are at Shanti stupa come downstairs & go through Yama Cafe Coffee house to refuel & refresh on the way to main market.
Been visiting this cafe regularly. Really love the coffee and smoothies here.
Even tried Spinach Cheese momo today, by far the best I have had in Leh.
It’s right next to a river stream, sound of which makes ambience really blissful in the early morning and late evening times.
Yet to try their most recommended cheesecake.
Yama coffee shop in leh is true gem. Their coffee is exceptional, and the food is simply divine. The cozy atmosphere, friendly service make it a must visit. I highly recommended trying their shakshuka ! It’s the perfect spot to indulge in both great coffee and delicious food while exploring leh. Can’t wait to return !
Yama coffee coffee house is a cute coffee shop on the way to Shanti stupa. I stopped by when I was coming back from Shanti stupa and it was really nice. It had such a warm, cozy atmosphere and amazing food! Also really good wifi. The perfect place to work from. They had quite a big range of food to order from too, from yummy ladakhi food to a lot of indian and continental food as well.
There were also many other travellers when I went so I think it also works as a great palace to meet other people too if you are solo.
