Review Chaska Maska - Leh

Excellent place for South Indians specially. Good Dosas and all other food was so good. This is the only restaurant that provides good dosa in Leh market area. Visited more than thrice.

We went here for lunch. We had Mushroom soup, Tandoori roti with Aloo gobhi , and Watermelon juice all at Rs. 456. Mushroom soup was a bit too spicy. The rest were fantastic. Recommended ✅ Visited on 06.04.2023 Reviewed on 07.04.2023

Service is slow but the food taste pretty much makes up for the pace. Food is extremely tasty and well presented. Quantity is also decent

We went here once during our stay in Leh. The food was decent. Nothing outstanding, but good and filling. Quantity was also adequate. We ordered a mix of South Indian, Sizzler and sandwich with a couple of us being Jain. I really liked the sizzler, but even the South Indian dishes were above expectation (which were not very high given that we were at the other end of India from South!). Ambiance was strictly OK. Pricing was not exorbitant. There may be better places in Leh for a meal, but this wasn't bad either.

Had ordered Nutella Banana Pancake. lip smackingly DELICIOUS!!! Not something you can not go wrong in making but they made it just perfect.

I tried chicken momo's here and its quite good. Hahaha. Taste is similar to korean dumpling actually. Maybe i have to try other dishes that have more Indian spice. The lassi is good, but again i play on the save side by ordering sweet lassi. The staff can speak english, so no worries for tourist who come here..

Best food available in that total area. Where good food is just like dream come true. Very good ambiance&hospitality too. We were on tour so didnot pay. So donot know the cost of food but it was reasonably priced.

I was craving Dosa. And this place served it. We went for Masala Dosa. Well the sambhar was not up to the mark, but the dosa was on point and even the chutney. The place was also decent enough to dine in.

There are few places in ladakh that serve south Indian food and tawa roti in leh and chaska maska is one of them. If you are like me who wants simple food and is tired of tandoori rotis then give it a try.

The dosa was unexpectedly brilliant for me, so was the parantha. I bet rest everything would also be the same. Very kind staff and nice ambience.
