We looked around for places serving ladakhi/Tibetan cusine on the last day of a long trip around ladakh. This restaurant is rated top amongst the Leh restaurants in Leh on TripAdvisor. The place was very busy and making a reservation is recommended. The food is very good, service is very polite and efficient. The wait staff are quite knowledgeable about the items and will make suggestions The portion sizes are quite generously and you are likely to be left with stuff leftover to pack. Prices are very reasonable. All in all I would definitely say that their position at the top of the TripAdvisor rating is well deserved.

The Tibetan Kitchen in Leh, with its 27 years of legacy, is a culinary institution that has not only stood the test of time but has also mastered the art of serving delectable Tibetan and Indo-Chinese dishes. Our visit left us enchanted by its impeccable cleanliness, courteous staff, and the warm and friendly owner. Every dish we tried was an absolute delight, making this restaurant a must-visit in Leh. The kitchen was immaculate, a testament to their commitment to hygiene. The staff was not only courteous but also genuinely warm and attentive, making us feel like honored guests. The experience of the owner and the kitchen staff shines through in every dish they serve. We sampled a variety of dishes, from the classic momos to veg cheese momos, noodles, thukpa, paneer chili, and veg Manchurian. Each dish was a revelation, bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients.

One word “fabulous” healthy food. Don’t go by the look of the place since it is on a small corner and I was bit sceptical about the place while I was entering. But my my the moment food started coming I was shocked. Healthy and delicious food. Chia seed pudding chef nailed it. From soup to lemon rice and chicken it was taste with healthy. The food was so good that in few hours I got hungry. I WILL SURELY VISIT AGAIN. Thank you to all the humble staff and to the owner to have such a great place.

The place is a hit amongst tourist and equally crowded. So please mind it that the wait time would be high. The food is super fresh and good. The ambience in the evening gives you a candlelight dinner vibe

A definite recommendation when in Leh. This was thanks to Google maps that during my first Leh visit , I was dying to get some great food and looking at the reviews, decided to opt for this place. You won't go wrong here and it's a must visit for food lovers. Try anything and you won't be disappointed. Especially the thukpa and momos.

INCREDIBLE! Some of the best Tibetan food I have ever had. Despite it being so busy when we arrived, we were seated shortly after, and our server was so kind. Our food was out of this world. Despite it being so busy we were never rushed and always greeted with a smile. Coming back tomorrow!

One of the must visit places in Leh. They serve the Tibetan cuisine. But we were not in a condition to enjoy those dishes. Traditional Chinese dishes were great.. outdoor set up looks great at night with a candle night.

Missed visiting the restaurant in my 2015 visit and was looking forward to in this visit. It was worth visiting! We were 2 families of 8 plus our Ladakh van driver. Food was fantastic, service was quick by friendly staff. Please order food after you see the quantity as the portion is big enough. We ended up packing a few items. Being vegetarians, we enjoyed their veg thugpa and momos while we enjoyed other usual Chinese dishes like friend rice and noodles.

This is one of the best restaurants to try in Leh. Price is a bit high, but worth spending. Quality and quantity both were quite good. Items tried: Chicken Noodles and Chicken Bamboo shoot. #Brotip: Reserve your seat before arrival, otherwise u may have to wait for half an hour to get a table.
