Review L-14 All Day Dining - Lucknow

Angad Chandhok
One of the best fine fine experiences I've had in Lucknow. The view of Marine Drive and Lohia park from this 14th floor is beautiful. Coming to food, everything was great and delicious: especially garlic butter prawns, mutton biryani and crusted chicken breast. I found the preparation time to be a bit longer however and maybe that is one thing that could have been better.

Food was good, the view is must visit for. I didn't like the service, kinda 5 star feel is lacking.

The view is fabulous. It really is. Service is nice but confused easily, even with very few people around. Noise carries quite a lot, so when it is crowded it's uncomfortable. Excellent masala chaach. Food is generally good, but slightly pricy. Service is.. Well. Can be improved. Water isn't refilled, people are absent or come to ask about orders.

Overall great dining experience. I took my parents and brother’s family out for dinner. The staff is welcoming and chef recommended some special prep- Egg plant Tuk, Baked Basundi Jamun and Gulkand Kheer and they were indeed yummy. The bread basket was bit disappointing—it was plain tandoori bread. I expected a combo of different varieties. To be fair, they did serve a “Missi” roti, which was good. Kids loved ice creams and desserts, parents loved the vegetarian main course, which were predominantly Paneer based items. I wish they could add some local Lucknow cuisines. Ambiance- mostly couples, family and large gatherings. Greeted very well by the severs and hotel staff. The chef and others went above and beyond to meet our expectations. Followed by dinner we went on the top of hotel— Sky bar, which provided great view of the city. The light drizzle added the romantic sentiment of this place. The music wasn’t loud at all. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a good times with your family and friends.

The taste of the food at Delicious Bites is simply outstanding. The chefs pay careful attention to flavor combinations and the balance of ingredients, resulting in dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. The flavors are bold and well-developed, leaving you wanting more with each bite. The quality of the ingredients shines through, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The view was beautiful from the 14th floor, and the food was delicious. The service staff were courteous and prompt. We ordered A-la-carte, from the vegetarian section. The only thing I would want better would be the number of varieties of the dishes. The vegetarian menu seemed slightly insufficient for an all day dining restaurant serving indian as well as continental dishes. Apart from that, it was a fulfilling and delightful experience.

5 star restaurant deservedly gets 5 star rating. I really can't think of any con, except that the ambience is a bit noisy to my liking of what I had expected from a 5 star restaurant. The food, the service, everything was above par, no complaints. The golden prawns which was a grilled preparation of prawns was the best according to me, above par with the prawns starters I have had in other restaurants. The crispy spring roll also did not dissapoint. Soup of the day ordered was good but a bit spicy it was. The drink lemon drop we ordered tasted equally good along with its good looking presentation. The main course we ordered was Tandoori roti, Dal Fry, Paneer lababdaar and chicken biryani. Each and every dish listed was good to taste. Lastly, we did not miss the chance to have a go at the desserts - we went for New York style cheese cake which was super yummy, such soft cheese cake with the base of the cheese cake complementing it ended our outing on a positive note. Hope to visit you again for sure!

We thoroughly relished our breakfast buffet with a variety of south and North Indian cuisine options as well as western entrees. The egg white omelette made to order was amazing. The soy latte tailor brewed to our taste was better than anything Starbucks can make. The service of Almaz and Anoop was professional and top notch. All our expectations were exceeded in this visit similar to prior visits. We will be back!!

Great view of the city, ambience was amazing. Open kitchen gives fresh aroma of the foods. Taste of food is okay. The prices are high which is reasonable as they are giving a nice view of the city. They have multi cuisine. If you would look for the premium ambience like Taj, I would say you will not find it. Now coming to the food which we ordered. They don't have much options on the sabzis. Though we ordered kadhai paneer, garlic naan, and kofta special. The garlic naan was okay. It was bit chewy. I have eaten much better naans in other restaurants in this price tag. So this is little sad. The lachha paratha which was served was bit hard to chew and hurted in gums. It was total waste of money. However, the sabzis were good. Properly cooked and the taste was great. Renaissance need a little upgrade with their services. As waiter don't asks for water - regular or bottle. The directly brings bottle on your table. service is slow, wait for the food is very long etc. They need to work on these things. The services is not parallel to their standard as a 5 star hotel. But overall it is a nice place to go. Visit once and judge on your own parameters.
Peace Out
Stunning view of the city. The 14th floor gives a nawabi feel.

Sorry I'm late for review , amazing view , top of the city , amazing view of gomti Nagar and Ambedkar park. The place is expensive, the food is wow, and cocktails is just amazing 😍 Go there to have a memorable evening follow by dinner , evening view is Very nice and when the lights are on you can see the Ambedkar park , lovely view , restaurants are nice specially sepia. <br/>Hotel is more lifestyle brand , food is so good , overall hotel clean and hygiene.. This is tha wondering place that served both veg and nonveg. Talking about the ambiance this place has Greenery all around. The price per food items is all responsible here and the qualities is too good. This place is not very crowdy so yess Indeed it is good place if you are looking for some peace. Service is good and staff is too polite. A must visit ♥️✌️

Finally had buffet dinner at L14. Nice ambiance and friendly staff and atmosphere. It costs Rs. 3400 approx for two people including taxes. Food was good. I had veg food. Starters was good. I ordered red sauce pasta from live counter and was good. Dessert section was OK. I liked Shahi tukda and phirni. The main thing I like in food was low in spice and low in salt which is good for health conscious people.

We went here for dinner buffet on a Sunday evening<br/>They had a very elaborate menu especially with their meat festival going on , they had a huge variety of meat items Ib their menu<br/>apart from the soup, they served some 3 starters of both veg and non veg dishes<br/>they served both indian as well as Chinese cuisines in their menu<br/>quite liked their noodles, dal makhani , chicken in soya sauce<br/>they even served a huge variety of desserts and their Renaissance truffle as well as fruit custard were the best
Food N Food
Nice Ambiance and remarkable services. Hosted a dinner for a special family occasion. We got full attention and services. We went to the roof top SKY BAR and had a drinks and dance on the music, returned back and had dinner. Good Variety Food for veg and non veg. Had a few meals here during my recent stay and must say that the food is excellent. The breakfast spread is lavish

I had very high expectations from Renaissance. Specifically L14. Reason being this is the best Restaurant present in Lucknow. And since I had an earlier experience eating at Sepia down below so my expectations were huge with L14.<br/>So me and my friend decided to visit yesterday evening and we went for a brunch in the morning around 12. To our dismay, there were hardly any breakfast options available in the menu. It's called brunch for a reason, right?<br/>Comjng over to the starters, I asked for prawns and Grilled Chicken. And to be honest, was disappointed when the prawns came out to be rubbery because they were reheated. I let it go. Chicken was better. It was tender and properly cooked. Then I went for Chicken Lollypops. I asked the server and straightaway server put two in my plate without even thinking twice about heating the iron tava. And as expected the Lollypops were cold. Another experience destroyed.<br/>Further, I tasted Raab with egg and paratha. Again same problem continued. The raan was cold and Parantha undercooked.<br/>I moved to other options, opting for Appam and nariyal chatni. Appam was tender in the middle and crispy on the outside. I expected it to be a uniform texture throughout because when you out the batter in the hot pan for Appam, you take the pan in your hand and circulate the batter in the pan to ensure uniform coating in Appam. 4th disappointment.<br/><br/>The only thing that I actually ate was the pizza, which was served cold too and a Panini sandwich which is actually served cold. That was my brunch. I forgot to tell about the soup. I started with a tomato and beetroot soup. That was probably the best thing on the menu. Had a couple of baked breads to go alongwith it.<br/><br/>Turning to desserts, the items that are only the menu and the depth of the dessert menu is striking. Overall, some 20 dessert options to choose from. They have gluten free and sugar free options too. I was elated. I had a Deconstructed Black Forest Cake and one choco mousse with a white rasagulla filling and a biscuit base. While the texture of the mousse and the layering of ganache was lovely, the rasagulla felt I'll thought of. I would have loved a bit of Savory raste to counter the sweetness of the dessert. Overall a good experience. Which could have been better, if not for the food served cold.<br/><br/>Food Quality: ***<br/>Service: *<br/>Ambiance: *****<br/>Value for money: *<br/>Dining Experience: ****<br/>Menu Options: *****<br/>Dessert Quality: *****<br/><br/>Need to work on the service. 3 Star rating is mainly for the desserts. If it was food, I would have given it a one star. Not worth going to such a 4 star hotel and a fancy restaurant for such a disappointment. Kindly avoid.

Absolutely horrible service, front desk staff was absent for 30 mins. We had to wait for half an hour even after having a reservation. Food is average, don't waste your money here, its a very overrated restaurant with an underwhelming variety.

My experience here was amazing. The view from the restaurant is to die for! That is a cherry on the cake as it takes the entire dining experience to another level altogether. The food was delicious and the staff was very polite and decent. I will definitely visit this place again.
Apoorva Upadhyay
This restaurant offers the best buffet in Lucknow, in my opinion. The price is definitely on a higher side but it's worth the taste. I just love the wide variety of desserts they have in their buffet. The staff is also very cordial and responsive. Moreover, this restaurant offers splendid, areal view of the beautiful Ambedkar park and Lohia Path.

Place with an exotic view.<br/>No doubt the food is delicious I simply love there coffee. Located on 14th floor of Renaissance hotel is a must visit for all as there is something for everyone food drinks everything is great 👍
The World On Plate
Best of dining experience and top notch service yes! Renaissance never fails to satisfy their guest and is one of my favourite place to dine in. <br/><br/>Taking about location is prompt and easily accessible. <br/>Coming on ambiance is simply mesmerising with panoramic view of city which gives u an awesome feeling along with dining.<br/><br/>So went there for buffet (dinner ) whole buffet was nicely aligned with ample no of options. <br/>I had blue lagoon as welcome drink which was quite refreshing <br/>And ate chilli paneer, crispy corn paneer tikka, aglio olio, and some items from main course along with baked yoghurt and tiramisu as dessert each every stuff was delightful and soulful. So kudos to L14 for that <br/><br/>All over a good dining experience and a must visit place. <br/><br/>#theworldonplate <br/><br/>

After a poor 1/5 star experience back in 2015, I decided to visit one of the most loved restaurants in Lucknow Once again. Here’s what happened: <br/>1. The Grub Fest that was currently showcasing some new dishes as a part of regular buffet, I didn’t find any of those.<br/>2. After telling the manager my table number and that I would like to taste everything listed under “Grub fest” menu FOUR times, they kept me waiting for 20 minutes and not a single plate was served.<br/>3. After yelling them at the counter they finally served everything. Yet, the waiter did not have the courtesy to tell me that the plate was really hot. I grabbed the cheesy fries plate and it nearly burnt my hands. <br/>4. The waiters always seem to be low on energy, confused, inefficient and really slow.<br/>FOOD IS GREAT! Don’t get me wrong but a good service is also a part of the money I am spending when it comes to a fancy restaurant. For the service I got one word - PATHETIC. I guess nothing has changed since the restaurant was opened.

This is a place where I would like to spend all of my special moments with my partner. This was the first place where I took her for lunch and it was amazing. The food, the cocktails were simply amazing with a beautiful scenic view. If you are in love then you must visit this place.

We came for dinner... nice ambiance...liked seekh kabab, fish n chips, paneer tikka...<br/>cocktails, half a roast chicken, main course were not up to the mark... chicken was smelling bad.. so based on that 3 star for food.
Debashish Ganguly
The food was tasty and totally worth the money. Although I think the buffet price is a little too much. But the food totally makes up for the extra bucks.

The variety of single malts this restaurant serves is amazing specially Glenfiddich 18. old fashioned cocktail might be bit more intense but it was good. Classic ceaser with grilled chicken is something you should definitely try and about main course i tried choosa khaas makhani I never heard of it before but it was amazing. Overall a brilliant experience. Service was quick and servers were well polite.

I went there with my friends, for her birthday treat..We opted for lunch buffet, nothing special was there, except the desserts.I don't no ,why such fancy place keep such untrained staff,i mean we had to wait for the waiter for 15-20 minutes,if we wanted something..The waiters keep roaming here and there without giving a shit about the guest..The ambience is really nice and the view is phenomenal..But the worst part is,while we were dinning ,there came a group of 6-7 young people,i think they were the food bloggers or something of that sort, they were clicking pictures and making hell lot of noise,i think they had forgotten they were at a 5 star property, instead were at some fish market..

A perfect lunch date to have at this lavish hotel in their L-14 space of renaissance. Here we ordered for a paneer lababdar, roti, and green apple ice tea which was a great experience to have. Loved the food that's not at oll a lot spicy.<br/>Food-5/5<br/>Service-4.5/5<br/>Ambience-5/5

Breakfast with a view. A very lavish breakfast spread. Totally loved their croissants, muffins, breads and cheeses. Fluffly omlette generously filled with cheese. Salami and sausages were fresh and yum. The only thing that I would like them to improve on are their pancakes and waffles.<br/>Will definitely come back to have this lavish breakfast spread again.

Mesmerising view of the gomti River and a wonderful buffet breakfast. My Lucknow trip started with the best. I went for their breakfast buffet and enjoyed it thoroughly with the view. Their pancakes were the best live counter dish I had. The location gets all my stars.

Beautiful property and restaurant. I was sitting right in front of La Martiniere, fondly narrating my school days over delicious Mughlai food. One of a kind experience available in Lucknow. 😇

Recently I went with my family to celebrate my 40th birthday @L-14! It was an awesome experience in every sense. The ambiance of the restaurant was great - relaxed and sophisticated. The service was excellent, I want to highlight @Lawan for looking after us impeccably throughout the evening. The chef was considerate to change the cake from chocolate to a light fresh fruit cake! Food was delicious with many Mughlai dishes - chapli kebab, Tandori chicken, biryani, paneer tikka, shahi phirini etc. Overall, a very enjoyable experience where we all had fun!

The Renaissance Hotel has total 2 restaurants and one sky bar. L 14 is for buffet (all day dining). Food is extraordinary good. ₹3000 for 2 people approximately. Great veg and non veg dishes and desserts.

The place holds a classy reputation in the town as its in one of Marriott’s hotel, the place serves really nice chicken tikka and chilli-garlic mushroom. But the ice cream quality they serve is pathetic

L14 is the option for you if you want to spend a cool n calm evening. Lovely ambiance, friendly staff make, delicious food .A perfect combination.<br/>On plate: Fish with mashed potatoes n tossed veggies in herbs n butter.<br/>Though I like a bit spicy food but this one was a pleasant change fr the pallette.<br/>Highly recommended.A paradise fr the lovers of international food cuisines.

I can visit this place just for the view of river front, food too is awesome, variety is countless, price is on a bit higher side, compared to the service, but even then a must visit, if you are in Lucknow

The best part about this place is the VIEW. It's absolutely amazing, from the 14th floor overlooking the Gomti and Lucknow looks beautiful at night.<br/>The food is mostly good. They don't disappoint. Service is good too. I like their buffet more than ala carte for the big spread they have. Smoked tuna I had there once and it was beyond this world.<br/>Overall a great place to take someone out for dinner or a nice family dinner.
Das Nisha
I have never been a fan of five star hotels, I always believe bascially they prioritise the interiors and service but not much on the food. But, this outlet proved me quite wrong! We went for the lunch buffet and I was more than impressed. The Buffet spread was huge huge huge and one cannot attempt all the items for sure. I do not even remember what I had and what I skipped but I will try. The Chicken dimsums were like pieces of cotton, extremely soft. The mutton roast was beyond delicious plus the mutton curry. The Awadhi biryani was subtle and flavoursome. The starters also included Fish Thai balls which tasted quite good. The best part was the desserts! The cream cheese frosting on the red velvet cupcake, the tiramisu and some chocolate pudding were cherry on the cake literally. I could have them again n again, It was that goooooooooooood!

It's a good place to visit on weekends with family an office friend's.<br/>Place is surrounded with good interior and the ambience is also perfect for family dinner.<br/>I use to visit 2-3 Times in a month.<br/>Keep it up L-14.<br/>

So let's start of with what's good - the view! I mean dining here or just walking in for brunch is totally worth it because you get to see the whole city and it's quite an experience.<br/><br/>However, the view gets old after a few visits, and you start to notice, that the food is average.. the buffet, for the price they command, is quite a spread, but the taste is nothing to write home about. The service is also below par.<br/><br/>I've been here quite a few times, and one particular time I asked for an omelette with toasted bread.. so one of the waiters said "madam, omelette mil jaayega, lekin toasted bread hum sirf breakfast mein serve karte hain." I particularly asked him whether they ran out of bread and he said there was bread, but he wouldn't serve it. It was only after I called the manager, that I was served the bread. I mean, I wanted bread, and if it's in the kitchen, why can't you just toast it and give it to me at 4pm? Why will you only serve it for breakfast?<br/><br/>Hence the negative points for service. Would I go back? Umm. Maybe for the view when I have other guests in town.. but for a good meal? Nope.
Shubhangi Srivastava
Absolutely stunning view and location of the hotel and the restaurant. Adds great value to the dining experience both at day and evening time. The food and drinks are ok. The service seemed a little slow. But worth visiting for the dining experience.

Good time with excellent dine. I tried a lot of food , beverages and desert as well with my number of friend at L 14 .💕 good food quality with yum look. 😊

I wanted to go to this place for a really really long time, and I finally got the opportunity to go out with my friends. And I must say the breakfast at L 14 is definitely THE best you can get in the city of Lucknow. A lot of people go really early in the morning, but we decided to go at 9 or so.<br/>Regarding the ambience of the place it's really amazing, you can also get a beautiful and breath taking view of the city if you get a seat near the window. The staff are well mannered and the live counter orders are brought on time. Also the interiors are really gorgeous, which makes it even better and adds to the peaceful aura.<br/>Once we were there we picked a few things from the buffet such as vadas, sausages, ham and also some of the sweeter options such as croissants, Danish pastries, muffins etc. There's also a live counter from where we can order a few things so we ordered a chocolate pancake and a blueberry pancake with bananas, and trust me when I say this, the pancakes were so soft and perfect, definitely one of the best pancakes I've had. We also ordered eggs and bacon which was quite delicious. By the time we tried finishing all of it we were definitely full.<br/>I think Overall this place is great to come with friends, family and your loved ones. I would definitely recommend you to visit this place if you haven't done it yet.
Zeb
So visiting the five star hotel in the town was worth.. the food was super delicious , the code of conduct of the waiters were up to the mark.

Visited this place<br/>Main thing which i want to brought everyones notice is pathetic service.once service is like this food doesnt seems to be tasty.<br/>I ordered long island ice tea but it was only ice tea. Its like they have added 2-3drops of liquor only . Pathetic

We visited L-14 recently and didn’t enjoy the experience.<br/><br/>Pros - One of the best views.<br/><br/>Cons - Food is a disaster. Co-ordination between the cooking staff and servers is pathetic.<br/><br/>We ordered corn soup, Paneer lababdar, mutton Korma and rotis to start with. It took over 25 mins for the food to arrive. <br/><br/>Paneer Lababdar was nice. The mutton korma came in a white cashew gravy. When we enquired the server said that’s how it’s made🙄. <br/><br/>Then we ordered a chicken biryani and the server said it will take 5-10 mins. Again it took 30 mins. The biryani was flavourless and the chicken rock hard. When we raised an alarm they offered to get some food from the buffet.<br/><br/>Surprisingly they got a brown coloured mutton korma this time and claimed it was a speciality from their 1st floor restaurant Sepia😁. Also some mutton biryani was served which came with a strand of hair.<br/><br/>We ultimately lost all patience and asked them to just get the cheque when they offered us to eat from the buffet and when we denied we were offered a small cake and a 200 rs discount.<br/><br/>This was for a special occasion and though the staff tried to make up for all this, it ruined our experience.<br/><br/>Please avoid this place at all costs.

#Bestmeal The preparation of food is best. The politeness of servers and people over there is also one among the best. The food is tastier and awesome. Budget Friendly. A large variety of item is available there from chocolate ice cream to Petit-Poulet-a-la-flamande. Peaceful place where you can enjoy your meal to fullest.

Very good food n nice service given by Ravi & Deepak!<br/>L-14 is amongst the top options to dine in Lucknow as they maintain very healthy food quality n service .

I went to The RENAISSANCE Hotel for an extremely pleasant lunch.<br/>The ambience is purely modern and sophisticated.<br/>You have to get a table by the window for the amazing view of the famous Ambedkar park.<br/>The buffet is quite large and it's serves both indian and international cuisines. From starter till the dessert part, everything is SUPER SE BHI UPAR😋😋😋<br/>Now the desserts deserve a separate review.<br/>I would not mind going back just for the desserts.<br/>The chef had put together a special off the menu Alfredo pasta for me. I was totally satisfied with their service too.Its surely a thumbs up from me.<br/>It was completely worth it . I can't wait visit the hotel again👍👍👍

Its an elite and fine dining restaurant, located at a prime location. The ambience is just wonderful, staff is as warm as they could be but the food, presented much attractively, disappointed me in matter of taste.<br/>I went for a sunday buffet, the varieties were many and interesting. We were very much tempted to try most of the dishes, both chicken tikka and chicken shwarma disappointed me though the chicken was very soft and tender but the blend of spices was not up to the mark. Mutton was very good. We also liked dosas, the were small and crispy. Pani puri and chaat was also fine but not very good. I disliked all the vegetarian starters.<br/>Coming to maincourse, only chicken handi, dad makhni and yakhni pulao were were bareable.<br/>Desserts were very pleasing to the eyes but so disappointing to the lips. The cakes were hard and unflavourful. Some of the desserts were so bad that I regret even tasting them as the spoiled the taste of my mouth. Only Baskin and Robbins ice cream was good.<br/>Overall, I didn't find myself satisfied.

Was here for Dinner on 29th of December and I must say the View of the City from the restaurant was the only best thing where as the food was below average as compared to food served in other restaurant's of Marriott in different cities. The buffet was not at all well spread and most of the starters were cold and tasteless though Chinese Main course tasted good specially the Kung Pao chicken, it indeed tasted the best out of everything that I had that day and with the desserts of that day I have no complain as it was well spread and was tasty. I just hope they get at par with the other #Marriott restaurants across different cities.

Visited this place for new year party. Ambience was good but pretty average food in terms of the cost that they have charged. Live music was ok. Staff was courteous. Only entertainment was seeing few magic tricks and trying our hands at it.
Pankhuri Singh
A place with the most beguiling ambience and aura. Had always wanted to try this place for the grand feast it promises. The beauty and the charm of the place has no match. But was disappointed with the service and the food. The staff seemed least bothered, something that was quite strange. The buffet had very limited options. The only good thing as far as food was concerned were the chinese starters. I was extremely disaapointed with the behaviour and ignorance of the staff. Since i had been to many other stars chains and have loved their civility, this one seemed to be a bad experience. Since it was my birthday treat, it turned out to be a bad decision. Will not recommend it to others. I don't usually put up reviews to highlight the negative points but such service from a five star chain came as a shock!!

Penne Bolognaise was nice.<br/><br/>Ceasor Salad was excellent with nicely Grilled Chicken.<br/><br/>Service staff was co operative in providing us the sky view table.<br/><br/>Also got a great Variety in Buffet with a Large No of Desserts.

This place is amazing and hygenic. Amazing food quality and presentation. But the number of starters is very less and also of the main course items . The price paid for the meal is also very high which does not give satisfaction equivalent to the amount paid for it.

This place is one of the most prominent places of the city.<br/>If you are from Lucknow then you must have seen this hotel in Gomtinagar.<br/>Firstly when you enter you are greeted by the valets. The entrance is huge. I will review only about L14.<br/>Now the restaurant is absolutely wonderful.<br/>The staff is helpful and very polite.<br/>The chef explains you about the dish and helps you choose the best.<br/>This place is amazing and a big and buttery thumbs up.<br/>

We visited a sizzler fest #Sizzleomania organised by Renaissance Lucknow. .<br/>.<br/>We ordered both veg and non vegetarian sizzlers both were mouth watering. The sizzler served a single serving. We ordered Paneer Shashlik Sizzler<br/>Chicken Shashlik Sizzler<br/>Indigenous Vegetarian Sizzler<br/>Mexican Chicken Sizzler<br/>Renaissance Vegetarian Sizzler.<br/>Our personal favourite was Paneer Shashlik Sizzler and Chicken Shashlik Sizzler. Even in rush hours we were served hot and fresh food.<br/>And a special thanks to Mr Ankur who served us our food and took good care of our needs. He also served us some Tiramisu Pudding on special request.<br/>The sizzler fest will be till 10 October so if you want to taste some new varieties of sizzlers then you must visit this festival once !<br/>

5 star restaurant deservedly gets 5 star rating.<br/>I really can't think of any con, except that the ambience is a bit noisy to my liking of what I had expected from a 5 star restaurant.<br/>The food, the service, everything was above par, no complaints.<br/>The golden prawns which was a grilled preparation of prawns was the best according to me, above par with the prawns starters I have had in other restaurants. The crispy spring roll also did not dissapoint.<br/>Soup of the day ordered was good but a bit spicy it was.<br/>The drink lemon drop we ordered tasted equally good along with its good looking presentation.<br/>The main course we ordered was Tandoori roti, Dal Fry, Paneer lababdaar and chicken biryani. Each and every dish listed was good to taste.<br/>Lastly, we did not miss the chance to have a go at the desserts - we went for New York style cheese cake which was super yummy, such soft cheese cake with the base of the cheese cake complementing it ended our outing on a positive note.<br/>Hope to visit you again for sure!

The ala carte here is useless. The staff is impolite , argumentative and takes forever to deliver the order and also forgets your order. A must visit place if you have all the time in the world to wait for your food and pay a high price.<br/>

One of the 5 star hotels in Lucknow, L 14 is successfully catering to all 5 star amenities.<br/>This buffet is a not miss! It is by far the best dinner buffet we have ever tried. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the staff is always friendly. They have wonderful selections and the food is always hot! Definitely not your typical buffet!<br/>People who want "zaika" or spicy food, this place is not for u.Apart from food everything is 5/5..<br/>Rate : 1300 approx pr person.

Best food that i have ever had... awesome view and food...the price charged is justified....... chef has magical hands i must say that ......

Had a dinner here with my family... Food was awesome and the service was top notch. Vegetarian menu was quite expansive and delicious. Choices in appetizers are limited and also egg-less desserts were too few. All in all the place earns 5/5 on service, but choices in food (veg) were slightly less than expected.

What a fantabulous place to celebrate your birthday. It was an heartrending experience with an exquisite display of exotic food right from smoked salmon to a variety of cheese. As a sweet aficionado I relished every bite of my pie.It was an enthralling experience and a great birthday dinner. Would love to visit for the breakfast buffet soon.<br/>

good ambience and nice food, the food was good and there is lot of options to try, i personally like their panner dishes, unlike other restaurants, there was no oil and it was fresh, and not at all spicy.<br/>

Extremely disappointed with Renaissance Lucknow Hotel. I hadn’t expected my dinner experience here to be this way. Being a brand I felt the service could be improved. We were unattended. We had to constantly request for certain things. The service was late and very slow. Quality of food wasn’t that great either. Some of the items were uncooked and lacked flavour. Nobody was there at the Ice cream corner to attend. The ice cream was so frozen that it couldn’t be even scooped out.<br/>Staff was unprofessional and confused. We don’t pay big bucks to get this in return. Everything was haphazard.<br/>My entire family went home unsatisfied. <br/>Never coming back again if this is the kind of service we get.

My favourite place for breakfast. The best way to spend a Sunday morning. The spread is good. There are live counters of egg, South Indian food and pancakes etc.. I especially enjoy the smoked salmon and the Eggs Benedict. South Indian food is great too. Juice bar is well stocked with a variety of fresh juices too. The freshly made pancakes with their choice of toppings make the children happy. I like to end with a cup of black coffee and cakes/muffins. Two drawbacks are that, place is getting more crowded and expensive with time.

Food was 👍, Ambience was 👍👍. Staff was very friendly. Book the table in advance to avoid hassle. Ordered some red wine which added to the taste. Will visit again 😊

If you're not a foodie and just wanna go for ambience then this is the right place for you. Highly unprofessional staff who serve real slow ( I mean really really slow!!!) and there's just one word for their food- "horrible". Every dish had an unpleasant odour to it ,be it Biryani,Mutton curry or Chicken curry. Overall a pathetic experience and highly disappointed with a restaurant of such a reputation.<br/><br/>Summary :-<br/>Staff professionalism - 0/5<br/>Starters - 1/5<br/>Main course - 0/5<br/>Dessert -1/5<br/>Drinks - didn't order ( was fed up by then)<br/>Ambience - 4/5

I had won a couple dinner pass during Renaissance’s Anniversary Celebrations in a radio contest. I was really unsatisfied with the response of the Management. I had to call repeatedly and enquire about my pass since there was no information from their side.<br/>Howsoever, after many calls I was able to access the dinner pass. But I was disappointed seeing that we weren’t being paid attention at all. The regular customers had waiters asking them repeatedly what they wanted even though it was a buffet and catering to their needs. Felt a little uncomfortable and uninvited at such an instance. Not a quite appealing gesture from a brand like this. The purpose of a dinner pass didn’t really fulfil the main idea attached to it. <br/>Overall, the food and ambiance was up to the mark but I think they can work on their Management and maintaining unbiased services for all their guests.

Amazing food and great hospitality. Buffet is worth the price.<br/>I went there on my birthday. One of the attendants brought pastry for me as courtesy.

Went for the first time for lunch buffet. Experience was just okay. Had high expectations. The view was good. Staff was fine. I strongly feel that the VARIETY OF THE FOOD TOOK OVER THE TASTE. There were only 2 veg starters & 2 non-veg starters which were okay tastewise. They had 3 varieties of cheese :- mild cheddar, cheddar & emmental with some crackers, but I was expecting 5 varieties as i read in other reviews. There were no fruits or nuts to compliment the cheese. Also, no one came to us whilst we were on the cheese board to help us and acknowledge us with the flavour of the cheeses as to which was mild & which was stronger. We already knew it though. The baked breads were nice. Salad is overhyped. White sauce pasta was okay but the red sauce one was very tangy. Soups were very nice. Main course was normal. In desserts, everything was just tasteless but i would like to specially mention chocolate truffle cake and mawa barfi as they tasted heavenly. Overall experience was average as the hospitality was not upto the mark and leaving just a few food items, the taste of 80% food items was just okay. Plus I don't really know why they had a slight fishy smell in most of the food items. Won't be visiting anytime soon. Plus on billing, they told us that the charge was Rs 1250 without taxes instead of Rs 1150 without taxes (as is still being displayed on zomato). Disappointed. Average.

L - 14 Renaissance with its perfect ambience , quick and polite service , delectable varieties of food offers you the best 5 star experience available in Lucknow. Their deserts(of the buffet) are out of the world ! Their food will make you want to come back again and again to this heaven for food lovers.

L14 is a fantastic place in Lucknow...I truly recommend this place..amazing ambience along with a friendly staff..The buffet was lavish with a variety of starters, main course and deserts..Each and every item was just so tasty with an amazing quality.Apart from that hospitality won my heart..

The place was very good up to the mark and expectations. The food was good along with the ambiance . Worth the price paid and you will get more utility than the price paid. A must visit place.<br/>But today I visited again but was very disappointed with the pasta white sauce as well as the red sauce both were very baad and not even properly cooked. So today’s experience was not that good compared to that of last time.<br/>They should not degrade the taste being a 5 star

We had chicken paranthas and kebabs. What a taste they got and what a place it is to be with family and friends. Also perfect for date. Made my day. Also Suggested for weekend parties after office with colleagues

We went to L14, @renlko for dinner and they had a festival “Zaika-e-Dilli” going on. We went with a mood of having Ala Carte but the Chef convinced us to go for the buffet and we were not at all disappointed.<br/>.<br/>. <br/>The buffet was quite lavish with a variety of starters including chaat, Dilli style chole bhature, momos, kathi rolls and Parathes (Parathe wali Gali special).🤩😍 The main course was equally lavish. It had butter chicken, the heart of Delhi food, Dilli Nihari , Chicken biryani in the non veg Indian section. There was grilled fish in lemon butter sauce which was just too delicious. It also had an Asian section which had street style chowmein and gravy dishes.<br/>The variety in desserts was also crazy. They had 3 types of ladoos - coconut, boondi and besan ladoo among other Indian desserts. They also had tiramisu, cupcakes etc. My favourite was the Renaissance’s special Chocolate truffle! It was totally lip smacking!😋<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Each and every item was just so tasty with the quality being top notch. Apart from the food, what won us over was the hospitality. @renlko has a great staff. Special thanks to Chef Abhijeet and Krishna for taking care of us and serving us so warmly.☺️ <br/><br/>Follow @thefoodiegirl for more (on Instagram)

Renaissance is situated right in the heart of the city of Lucknow. They have one of the best properties in the town with an amazing view from the L-14 outlet and the soothing breeze of Skybar(rooftop outlet).<br/><br/>My previous experience was not good with the offering and the service standards at such a beautiful place. But, to my surprise the management read the reviews, replied and took corrective actions as well.<br/><br/>Special thanks to Mr. Anirab, Vara and Team Renaissance for completely changing my prospective about this place. Good to see such a professional, responsible and rare staff here in Lucknow.<br/><br/>Best Wishes!

Ah the Sunday brunch... Most amazing day in my life when I satisfy my foodie inside me with variety of dishes and sumptuous food. But when i entered renaissance.... It was like on top of Lucknow.... U could literally see the Lucknow... River Gomti and not stop yourself to click the camera button. As u were enjoying the beautiful view from L-14. Someone will come as personal attendant. Now the struggle between your stomach and desire to eat every dish starts. There were almost 50 varieties.... Sweets, starters, cheese, main course, soups, Chinese, South indian, chat and gol gappas, huge spread of different salads and French street with freshly made bread.<br/><br/>I mean you have good ambiance and obviously good company. And so much to eat. We were there for 2 hours. And roaming around the counters u will find something to eat which u missed in last round.<br/><br/>A little bit expensive for vegetarian like me but for non vegetarian you get everything you love to eat.<br/><br/>Also there was live music and I requested few old romantic songs. The singer sang and then it was another level of satisfaction. You just lost in song and food and ambience that you forget how much time you spent there.<br/><br/>Coming to come cons - starters were only three and that too not good enough to write about. Main course have limited Indian variety. They could have some more Indian dishes. As its in Lucknow, we like spicey food. But it was a balanced. Even when I ordered to make dosa and pasta spicey., it didn't get what I expected. Otherwise there is huge variety of food and u just love been there.<br/><br/>When the music stopped i realised how much time i spend there, and to my disbelief i lost track of time. It was a perfect brunch. There is was raining outside and the music playing inside. What more you expect from a Sunday brunch? A coffee at last and request to play last song. After that you pay and go. But the happiness remains till late evening and you view pics you clicked that afternoon and it was a perfect day you wish come again and again.

I visited the much hyped restaurant of the town with my family for dinner today on 5th August 2018. The temperature of AC not well set and it was warm inside the lift as well as restaurants area, I don't know why.<br/>The ambience was good and the buffet of veg in main course was not much spread, though taste was OK, but not mouth watering. The service was dull and the service boys seemed confused. There was no restaurant manager to look after the inconvenience. Many times bowls were unavailable in need.<br/>The dessert, salad area was sufficient and upto the mark. The manager of hotel and restaurant should look into the matter. Even the kava restaurant of mariot group is better in terms of service and taste and their vallet parking is also prompt and staff their is very polite and courteous.<br/>Thank you<br/>

It was my Grandfather’s 95th Birthday and my Dad took whole family for dinner to celebrate his Birthday. We were almost 20 people. This was my first ever visit to Renaissance Lucknow, Finally a five start service place in Lucknow. I was astonished to see the ambiance and Beautiful decor. Those tall wide windows and City light view was mesmerising from the 14th Floor. <br/>Again, I was spoiled with the choices, they had amazing buffet spreads of almost all the dishes from the country. I started with appetiser and I had tomato rassam with Butter Bread, trust me it was the most amazing rassam i had till date. In main Course I tried almost everything, food was good but i think there were fee dishes which could have been even better. In drink Menu I had Fruit Punch or something like that, it was delicious. Then I had my favourite section Dessert. I am a hardcore chocolate lover, so had almost everything made of chocolate like brownie, Chocolate fudge, pastry , Icecream.<br/>We all had a really good time and food.<br/>Happy with the service and food.

Delicious and quality food, huge variety. Chef Abhijit takes personal responsibility for hospitality, and actually remembers the guests' taste.

Dining at L 14 has always been a pleasure. Lovely ambience along with the most courteous staff enhances the over all experience of dining out. This is our go to place for every special occasion and we specially enjoy the breakfast spread here. Restaurant Manger Mr. Ravi Gupta always make sure that we get the prompt service with a smile. Once he arranged birthday cake for my mother in law on her birthday and made the entire staff sing the birthday song for her. Today again we had gone for the breakfast and we had the most amazing croissants in Lucknow. They were crispy and flaky. We were looked after with utmost care by Mr. Vinay. He made sure that he gets everything on the table for my mother in law who has difficulty walking. L 14 offers the best breakfast buffet experience in Lucknow ...get your table reserved with the view and enjoy the experience!

Great view from L-14 and good food too !<br/>We went on a Monday evening for dinner with family friends. They have a lavish buffet spread with great variety and they also serve a la carte. We chose to order from the menu. The veg galauti kabab was good. Other items were good too. What I especially liked about the place was well trained courteous staff and the way they made us feel at home and served us. <br/>Overall it was a great experience.<br/>Would definitely love to go back again and again..

A good place to hangout with your special ones. Though the food was way too normal. We have had Chicken Chilly, it wasn't bad.<br/>The good thing I found in this restaurant is that the staff weren't lurking around all the time, which gets irritating at some places. A person like me, who keeps it to himself and don't want no extra attention anywhere would surely love this place.<br/>Yeah the panoramic view of Lucknow is complimentary here !
Noopur
The view from this restaurant is worth a visit and so is the food. Went here with my parents. We had the paneer lababdar, dal makhani, missi roti, butter naan and veg biryani. The quantity was more than sufficient. The paneer was too yum but the dal could have been better. The staff was very polite. All in all a good place for a family dinner.

It is the best A grade hotel in Lucknow for breakfast and lunch buffet with affordable prices.I would always suggest this hotel for buffet comparing to even Taj hotel, the hospitality of the restaurant is very appreciating .

Best place in Lucknow with family outing and for dinner. The food is tasty. View from lounge is awesome. Staff is courteous. A little overprice but OK for a 5 star property . Must go and have an experience.

So I have been to this place 3 weeks back and the time we spent here is still flashes in my mind every now and then. We are here for my brother's birthday celebration and we are glad to pick this place as the view, food, service ambiance is all up to the mark and brings the biggest smile on everyone's face in my family.<br/><br/>The reason I am appreciating this place is because we have been to many five star restaurants and they all are not just good but great in ambiance but when it comes to service or food, many of those lack somewhere .<br/><br/>When we have been to L14 then some awadhi festival is going on so there are huge varieties of food in their buffet menu and everything was well prepared, especially the dessert section. I don't remember if their is any music is getting played or not but the evening view of ambedkar park from L14 is very eye pleasing.<br/><br/>They have enough sitting space and even when all the tables are occupied, it doesn't seems chaotic.<br/><br/>PS: the images are random so don't take it too seriously.

(3.5)<br/>Here's a comprehensive review of the buffet scene at L14, Renaissance.<br/><br/>I have been eating at this place ever since it opened in September '15 and marvelling at the versatility and prolific skill of head chef Mr. Hemraj. In recent times though, the quality seems to have taken a tangible dip, which is a cause for attention, if not concern.<br/><br/>Coming to specifics, the first thing one notices upon entering the restaurant is the amazing view of the city lights that the tall, all-glass windows seem to provide. That is obviously the USP here. Someone from the staff will guide you to your table and if the restaurant isn't too crowded, someone will virtually be assigned as a personal server to your group.<br/><br/>The starters are served on the table, on my latest visit, we had Chicken with chilli and garlic, fish seekh kabab and Jalapeño cheese balls. The chicken was good, the fish kababs were decent but the cheese balls could definitely be missed.<br/><br/>We proceeded to try the Minestrone soup and the Chicken lemon coriander soup, but there was nothing great there.<br/><br/>The salad 'theatre', as they call it, which we proceeded to, was very good. I tried the chicken pepper salami dressed in balsamic vinegar, the turkey salami as it was, and the smoked salmon with a spicy garlic tinge. They were all good. Another salad option worthy of mention was the fruits and squid salad, in which the squid didn't taste too good, but the fruits were amazing and complemented it well.<br/><br/>I also went to the live kathi roll and pasta counter. The kathi roll was nice and well wrapped as well, though a little short on the spice quotient. I didn't try any pasta, but the counter had the typical appetising aroma of basil, asparagus and cheese!<br/><br/>I had the main course twice. First, I tried the noodles, fried rice, a southeast Asian style chicken that tasted somewhere between Hunan chicken and Chicken sweet and sour, Hunter style chicken, and Grilled fish in lemon butter sauce. The noodles and rice were ok, thankfully the noodles weren't thick. The Asian styled chicken that I don't remember the name of was very good and very well cooked. The Hunter style chicken got a mixed review from my group but I liked it. The fish, which is generally good here, was the worst item in the spread. I couldn't even take a second bite.<br/><br/>Before proceeding to the second round of mains, I visited their cheese counter to bide some time. They had a good mix of cheeses. They had Cheddar, mild cheddar, Edam, Brie and Gouda. There was an assortment of dried fruits as well, I liked prunes the best. Cheese and crackers served as a good time pass before I moved over to the second round of mains.<br/><br/>This time, I tried the Awadhi chicken biryani, murg lababdar and nihari gosht. The nihari was very well done, the chicken lababdar was also good, and the biryani was totally typical and by the book. Not too many complaints with this round.<br/><br/>There was a diverse spread of desserts as well, I enjoyed the mango panna cotta the most. The crème brulee didn't stand out though. The rabri was good. Fruits were fresh, but one occasionally could feel as if an onion knife was used to cut the fruits, totally not expected from an establishment like this.<br/><br/>The buffet is close to 1300 odd rupees per diner. We were five people and including mineral water bottles, the bill came to Rs. 7640/-.<br/><br/>With proper company, buffet dinners are generally enjoyable, but I could certainly say that they used to be way more enjoyable 2 years ago at the same place than they were on this visit.

I think my taste buds are not made to eat at these places. This is the reason i gave 2 stars. Else everything is good.<br/><br/>I ordered few dishes(veg) but none was good in taste(according to me).<br/><br/>The view from the table was good , spent some good time with my friends.<br/><br/>

Went for my anniversary lunch with family and had the lunch buffet<br/>We opted for both veg and non veg options<br/>The spread was good and ambiance as well<br/>The non veg food first<br/>#the starters were yummy the chicken was good tender and juicy the best part was the fish tikka it was the best till date<br/>Loved the dahi vada and kasundi enfused salad<br/>#the main course had option in Muttin chicken and lamb tried all and all were good<br/>VEGETARIAN MENU<br/>#The starters were paneer tikka which was nice and the hara bhara kabab was good and moist<br/># for the he main course we mainly went for the continental options with noodles and fried rice tasting really good<br/>The desserts were a highlight<br/>They had both continental and Indian options<br/>Loved the tiramisu and he walnut cookie<br/>The chocolate truffle was also well prepared<br/>In the Indian options we tried firni which was fine but the laddoos kept were not upto the mark<br/>The one thing i disliked about the menu was that they do not offer complimentary soft drinks with the buffet which is a big drawback would really like then to add it up in the menu<br/>Coming down to the final rating<br/>Food 4*<br/>Ambiance 4* the view is really nice<br/>Hospitality 5* the server tool is personally through the entire menu which I really liked<br/>Would surely come back for more family time over food

An experience of Sunday evening with family with nice and warm services , pleasant ambience, cool height with blazing lights panoramic view is great. Buffet arrangements for vegetarians are,I think having limited options in comparison to Non veg.Overall a nice place but if you prefer dinning with messup with lots of movement of people around. Then its good.

The Best place to unwind with your family & friends. Breathtaking view from the top. It is not only the food but the view which makes the place memorable. The spread was quite elaborate starting from Salad, Soup, starters & main course.

Have visited this Buffet Style restaurant couple of times primarily for family parties... The ambience and service is by far amongst the best in Lucknow. But but for me food is what makes a place perfect and well to say... It is average.... The variety is amazing but somehow the food is not lip smackingly good. Desserts are good though... Heaven not because of food or ambiance but coz of height which encompasses one of the finest areas of Lucknow. A la carte food was awesome. Now you can't decide what to eat from 46 main course dishes, besides salad, sweets, and fruits. <br/><br/>Therefore, it took almost an hour to finish the dinner. The ambiance has no special features except the bridge lights. The best part was the table arrangements and food decorations. <br/><br/>So, you can enjoy the food design as well as taste. Overall, you can have cake and eat it too.

The breakfast buffet here in Renaissance is one of the best experiences one can have.<br/>The variety of food is simply amazing and trust me when I say this, you cannot eat everything they have even if you go visit a couple of times. <br/>You can visit the pool up at L16 and get nice pictures as well and the view is also nice. All in all, great place if you want to go for a date or wanna go eat like a maniac along with friends.

Had a lunch buffet. One of the best fine dine in the town. Loved the food and the desert. However was expecting one or two moktails in the menue.

the breakfast buffet is awesome at L14.<br/>i think the only place where they serve smoked salmon. <br/>they gave a delicious twist to Egg benedict by replacing the ham with galouti kebab , it was lovely !<br/>the croissant is the freshest and tastiest i’ve had.<br/>the spread is comprehensive and trust me after a breakfast here , one doesn’t need lunch.<br/>the variety with south indian , continental , the fresh juices are a real treat.<br/>the freshness of the food is a winner for me.<br/>the managers Ravi & Deepak were gracious , the waiters Vinay & Tarun were efficient. <br/>the juice bar was managed professionally.<br/>our favourite breakfast buffet place 👍🏻👍🏻

Had early breakfast buffet here. It was good overall. We expected more variety though. South Indian dishes were average. Juices were mediocre as well.

The buffet here is one of the best I ever had . They have a very very large menu in their buffet. What's good is they have the Indian and foreign cuisines both in their buffet . It costed me 1300/- per head .
Chef Ilyas
It was dinner buffet . Actually don't have much to say about this outlet. If you'll ask me about rating then I would give max to max 3 . As they compromised with quality of food. May just cause of location and taste of localities. But I would suggest as it's 5 star property so they have to maintain the standard of food as well as service . Thanks...

Gomti Nagar view is pleasant, which adds feelings to your conversation. We went for a Buffet dinner ‘Vegetarian’ options are less compared to ‘Non-Veg’. Eggless dezzerts are few. Should work on taste.<br/><br/>Main Course is good.

The place is ok with good service... But my experience there was not so good ...so that was the first and last for me... 1.5 for service and ambience...

Delightful place! Was here with my friends for an early breakfast buffet. The place is worth the price you pay. I mean, the sheer number of choices you have is overwhelming. A typical 5-star restaurant is what it is.<br/><br/>We had the pleasure of meeting Gauhar Khan there that fine morning. The glass windows give you a great view of the Lucknow city skyline, if you manage to grab the tables towards the window.<br/><br/>The day that we went, we tried Fish, masala cheese omelette, crossoiant, fresh juice, salami, turkey, and a variety of other dishes. My friends mentioned that the South Indian dishes are also very nice, although I didn't try them, was more interested in other things in the menu.<br/><br/>Overall a great enjoyable experience that one can sign up for if you're in Lucknow. The rates of breakfast buffet are fixed at around 800 per person. A value for the money you pay.

Being a buffet lover I had a lot of expectation from this so called one of the best hotel’s main feeding restaurant L14 but it turned out to be miserable.Coming to the point the food was served cold and the quantity presented on the buffet table was not satisfactory, variety served here is nothing for the price they are charging. After complaining, the chef blamed the temperature in general for the cold food, i don’t think so that’s even a sensible excuse as the temp inside the restaurant was fully moderated. <br/>This was my first dinner in this restaurant and mostly the last, so whoever is planning to throw a party here or something you are merely just throwing of your hard earned cash, try other hotels in Lucknow giving better food for asked amount .

What makes this place different from others is due to-<br/>1- interesting continental dishes<br/>2- great ambience<br/>3- landscape view of the whole Ambedkar park from that hieght which is phenomenal<br/>The service is prompt and they too suggest some amazing cuisines themselves.<br/>My personal favourite was black pepper prawns tossed in rice which was chef's reccomendation(& which was worth trying)<br/><br/>21st October<br/>Had the worst experience today.<br/>The waiters were so confused.<br/>They served us Veg food instead of non-veg.<br/>

The name Marriott renaissance brings in a certain level of expectations with it, but the Lucknow L14 doesn't quite live upto those. I've been to Marriott Mumbai sahar and Chandigarh, both of which were far great than Lucknow. So, while the service was undoubtedly great, the breakfast spread wasn't. The vegetarian items were even more limited. I liked their South Indian preparations the most. Rest it was just average. You can go here once for the experience but definitely not something you would want to do twice.

Went for Sunday brunch buffet. Wonderful view of the city from the restaurant. The service was above par. Deserts were by far my best experience in town. Continental was average.

I visited the place in September and had to say that it was surely a beautiful lavish experience. Restaurant staff is very attentive and chef Santosh's recommendation kinda made my day. If you're looking for a good place to party and get togetherbin Lucknow then I'll say that L-14 is place one should must go.

I have been here twice and I absolutely loved the service not only from the servers bit also chefs who kindly answered all my questions about the various creation of dishes. My favorite was their live pasta counter and also their wonderful variety of continental dishes. Their mains were inexplicably delicious and in the end, the Waffle created infront of me got me excited like a child. Do try their Rogan Josh too and chicken stroganoff

The ambience and food is fantastic, loved the hospitality.<br/>Place worth visiting if you are in Lucknow.<br/>Truly MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE. <br/>i was here with my friends, the buffet spread is amazing with food from almost 4 countries, staff is polite and ready to go extra mile for you.

My uncle had come to visit me in Lucknow and he wanted to have a good family dinner in a good restaurant. L14 was the first restro that came to my mind for good food and service. I had read a lot of reviews on Zomato and majority of the people had recommended this place. So, without missing the opportunity, we visited this buffet restro for dinner.<br/>As the hotel can be spotted near Gomti Riverfront, it is easy to find this place. The restro, which is on the 14th floor of the hotel, has a very simple and classy ambiance. We got a table easily as the place wasn't much crowded. One of my uncle, who is Chef De Partie, recommended various dishes for us to try out.<br/>First, a mocktail was served along with the starters: Blue Curacao. This drink was good. Added with lemon and mint, it had a taste of a Mojito yet different by the look.<br/>As the restro had a buffet, this review is only of the dishes I had .<br/>Mutton Seekh Kebab: I'm not a huge fan of Seekh Kebabs, but the one served here was really amazing.<br/>Customised Salad: There is a salad station where the guest gets to create his/her own salad according to his/her taste. I had some lettuce leaves, Shawarma mixture and some Chicken Salami.<br/>Arrabiata Pasta: Another counter for having a pasta of your choice. I asked the chef for this one. The pasta was good and so was the sauce.<br/>Shepherd's Pie: For the first time I tried Shepherd's Pie and it wasn't a good experience. As the taste was new to me, I wasn't satisfied. Maybe if I'll have the same dish again somewhere else, I may be able to compare.<br/>Thai Yellow Chicken Curry: I love Thai food and I was very happy to have this dish here. The curry was tasty & the chicken too tasted great.<br/>Chicken Breast with Mushroom Jus: Chicken made along with mushrooms was the best thing for me. I love Chicken and I like Mushrooms too. This dish was amazing!<br/>Mix Fruit Crumble: I'm not really into cakes or any other bakery stuff but this Fruit Crumble made me change my mind. It was so crumbly and soft, and the taste was very nice.<br/>Tiramisu: As I'm a coffee fan, this dessert is my favourite by default. And believe me, I had two of them here. It was that good!<br/>Chocolate Brownie: It was ok. I don't like chocolate. Maybe a chocolate lover would love this brownie.<br/>English Pound Cake: Just a regular cake which tasted ok to me.<br/>Lemon Tart: I had a lot of expectation from these tarts as they were looking wonderful! But after the first bite, all those expectations were gone. By the taste anyone could tell that the lemon flavouring was added too much and it made the tarts way too sour.<br/>CONCLUSION -<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Service : 4/5<br/>Ambience : 4/5<br/>Total Experience : 4/5<br/>An amazing restaurant with full value of money.... Complete 'paisa-vasool' :)

Food in dinner buffets is a good spread and with decent flavour and taste. The seating is quite conjusted but view from top 14th floor is nice. Service is slow and it takes time to get any thing served on table like tandoori etc. The price with current taxes is on higher side. It's a good addition to Lucknow food variety. Wish L14 all success in future.

Superb ambience & excellent food. They have good variety in menu such as Falafels, Ravioli, South Indian Dishes, Bhurjee pav etc... So for a Mumbaikar like me, that's a best option...👍

My L-14 - Renaisance Lucknow experience was really good and met my expectations at all level. Apart from the food they serve, the service and hospitality is something that I would always appreciate. And ambiance is just the cherry on the cake. It just sets the perfect mood with the great view it has. <br/><br/>I am sure, many more visits are impending. Cheers! :)<br/><br/>#FoodBlogger #FeelingsOnPlatter

Amazing staff, good food, great ambience. Love their L14 the most out of all the other ares in the hotel. Always a great experience. Obsessed with the variety of salads they provide with.<br/> <br/>Marriott around the world

Loved the food, loved the presentations, loved the overall ambience and service. L 14 meets all the expectations one would have from a Marriott.

I had lunch at the L-14 buffet. The veg and non-veg variety was good and the presentation was remarkable. However, it lacked mutton dishes. My husband is fond of mutton and I only found chicken & fish in the non-veg section. <br/>Other than that, I loved the dessert variety and the rich flavours.<br/>Ambience & view was a cherry on top.

After much hype I finally went to L-14. First of all the ambience was perfect with optimum lighting, fine cutlery and white cloth laid out. The view of lucknow was also mesmerising. Now the starters included fish chilli , lamb pieces and chicken afghani. The fish was too good. There was a live pizza, risotto and pasta counter. The best part was salads spread which included smoked turkey and salmon. The soup portion was also nicely spread with French breads and cheese laid out. Now the best part was off course the deserts (total 57) 😛. All my sweet cravings are satiated on that day. All in all a good experience except for the service that could be improved.

I went there recently along with my brother. I had been waiting for almost a year to visit this place. It would be better to get a table booked in advance if you're planning to go on a weekend as it is pretty crowded. A lady welcomed us and took us to our seats. Towards my left was a beautiful view of Ambedkar Park. We opted for their buffet. I started with paneer tikka and some non veg starters. The best for me was mutton chops and dry chicken. They have a live pasta counter so I ordered some spaghetti with lots of vegetables in white sauce. It was quite tasty. After that I had frozen food. They had quite a conglomeration of frozen stuff. After that I moved on to their breads and cheese. They had 5 varieties of cheese and apart from one‚ I loved the flavour of every other one. Now the best part: DESSERTS. If you ever go to L14 then make it a point of trying each and every dessert. I was quite full by that time but the ones I had were very tasty. Peanut butter pastry‚ fruit cake‚ brownies‚ Chocolates etc etc. There were almost 30 desserts and they all looked beautiful. <br/>A completely great outing for me. <br/>Going here is an experience in itself. I don't know when I'll go here again but I surely will. <br/>A must visit place for evry foodie.

An exotic location with mouth watering dishes make it a perfect combination for a weekend visit. One of the very few places in Lucknow with a precise ambience and tropical surroundings. The buffet is a must try and definitely a mood cleanser. Would love to visit it again and again.

Visited the place during asian food festival in the restaurant. Since the theme was asian so there was more of thai, chinese and mongolian food . The food was decent. We started with the soup which was good. They had an awesome variety of deserts including indian sweets and pastries. Loved the chocolate pudding and the ice creams( really nice flavours). Ambience was elegant and the place was decorated well which went along with the festival. Though the place was pricey it had great views of Gomtinagar and superb deserts.

I expected a lot from Renaissance but it seriously disappointed me. Being a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I have been to innumerable Marriott dining outlets, but L14 is just another run-of-the-<br/>mill buffet restaurant. We made the mistake of ordering a-la carte and made our miseries worse. The staff probably is become used to servicing buffet goers (which is always easier), and not to folks like us. The food, I must say, was decent in taste, portions and presentation, it's just that the service took all the joy of dining out away. Only after I expressed displeasure to some of the staff, it got into action and tried doing some service recovery. Overall, a very average experience. Wouldn't recommend it to others unless one wants to have an expensive run-of-the-mill buffet. Thanks.

Here is an exclusive list of delectables which we had during street food festival at L14 Delhi 6 ka Zaika. <br/><br/> 1. Bael ka sharbat: A fresh and tangerine juice extracted from Bael also known as wood apple was served in a test tube. Bael is known for treating indigestion and constipation. It is said that Delhi people are a hardcore food lover and they use it as a cleanser between their meals.<br/>2. Aam Panna: The best Aam Panna I ever had in my life. It had a perfect tangy taste of raw mango and a perfect summer drink to beat the heat stroke and dehydration. It was also presented in a test tube to enjoy them in small shots.<br/>3. Bao: A traditional Tibetan street food, steamed and filled with meat or vegetable. The bun was soft, juicy, perfectly steamed and filled with minced chicken. They steamed and served it in a bamboo basket which gave it a very subtle woody scent.Though I had it for the first time but I loved it.<br/>4. Rajma chawal: I think no north Indian needs an introduction to Rajma chawal but if you are still unaware of the Rajma chawal then you are definitely kidding. It is an important meal in Delhi houses and streets and also serves as a great meal in their lunch boxes. The rajma was well cooked, perfectly spiced up and was served with jeera rice and achaar.<br/>5. Tangari chicken kebab: A typical Mughal dish found in every by lanes of old Delhi is not just a kebab or Tikki but a chicken leg piece marinated in Indian spices and yogurt and grilled in tandoor. It was served in an aluminum vessel with coal ignited inside the vessel to give it a smokey aroma.<br/>6. Golgappa shots: No street in Delhi is complete without golgappa stalls also known as puchka, pani puri, batashe, and gupchup in other part of India and is everyone's favorite. The golgappa were presented to us in a very unique way, they were filled with white chick pea and were placed over shot glasses filled with different types of water-khatta and meetha. The gol gappas were crisp and the water had amazing flavors.<br/>7. Basket wali chaat : It is a typical crunchy and crispy potato tikki chaat served in a potato wafer or basket which is obviously edible. The chef kept the originality of the chaat but there was no sweet yogurt, unlike the chaat we have here in Lucknow.<br/>8. Papdi chaat: A fusion of chickpeas, potatoes, yogurt and crisp papdi. The chef served us small papdis topped off with the chaat which had a perfect zing, tang, and spiciness.<br/>9. Amritsari kulcha: Baked or tandoori parathas from the paratha wali gali was one thing that tempted me the most. It was decently stuffed with potato and paneer. They were neither too heavy and nor too oily like the usually stuffed parantha. It was served with a piquant chutney made of tamarind and mango. The chef gave chutney a twist by adding diced onion and chili to it.<br/>10. Sugar chocolate parathan: Have you ever been bluffed by your mother in the name of sweets in your Lunchbox. Yes,  I am talking about the same meetha parathan/ sheera parantha which some of us used to get in our lunch box. Sheera/caramel is drizzled over the slightly salted parathas, giving it a sweety-salty taste. The chef also gave it a firangi twist by drizzling some chocolate syrup also and made it even more interesting by serving them with ice cream.<br/><br/>11. Bharwan parathan: A super tempting and crispy bharwan parathan is also found majorly in every street of Delhi. It was filled with daal and served with yogurt and green chutney. They were thick and soft.<br/><br/>12. Mirch ka halwa: Till that time I have never heard of "Mirch ka Halwa" before in my entire life and was so hesitant to have it for the first time. But to my surprise, it was good. A perfect combination of khoya and subtle flavor of mirch. It was served in a bowl garnished with almonds and dry raisins.<br/><br/>13. Kheer:  My most favorite rice pudding dessert is made with rice, milk and lots and lots of love. Again the chef kept the originality of the dish. The kheer had a thick consistency and was perfectly sweetened. It was served in a bowl garnished with almonds.<br/><br/><br/>14. Cocktail Samosa: How can we forget our most famous, loved and favorite snack of all time "samosa".They were crisp and stuffed with potatoes and green peas. They were served with a red tangy chutney in a dropper tube.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Had an amazing experience at the renaissance L-14 "Delhi 6 ka zaika" food fest.<br/><br/>DATE: 5th - 14th may<br/>TIME: 7:30 pm onwards.<br/>

Good morning lovelies 🌞<br/>Yesterday I was invited for a food-preview at Renaissance Hotel along with my fellow bloggers.<br/>I had a great time at Renaissance Lucknow Hotel at their restaurant L-14, sampling their delicious fare from the upcoming food festival called Delhi 6 . <br/>Basically Delhi 6 as the name suggests will be taking you on a culinary journey through the famous streets of Delhi. <br/>Also it was lovely meeting Chef Balvinder who's passion for his work shone through as he took us through each and every detail of the dishes prepared for the food-fest.<br/>The bel shot that I had as my welcome drink was delicious, it actually built up my appetite for the evening. For starters I had the Paani ke batashe, which was lip-smacking as it had just the right balance of sweet and sour. I quite enjoyed having the Tangdi Kebabs too. For the main course I had Rajma-Chawal which was your basic rajma-chawal . I tried Chocolate Paratha for dessert and it was quite tasty. It was basically cheeni ka paratha drizzled with chocolate & served with vanilla <br/><br/>#bespokegrub #indianblogger #lucknowblogger #foodblogger #renaissancehotel #delhi6 #foodpreview

One of my personal favourite places for any meal of the day!! Their buffet dinners are one of the best in the city. L14 serves multi cuisine food and their desserts are absolutely deadly!! Look out for their food festivals every month which are served on interesting themes. Service is phenomenal and the view is breathtaking. Must visit if you're a foodie and love fancy places. I went to Renaissance for Dinner with my wife and friends who recently came back from Dubai last Saturday 22/04/2017<br/><br/>. Because we wanted them to have one of the best dining experiences we went to L-14. Waited for 35-40 minutes for a table, and no one even offered for a glass of water or greeted us. Finally when we were seated and started our meal none of the restaurant staff approached or guided us to the buffet. Buffet was very limited with bland food. Even Indian breads were not served at the table. After paying 1350+ taxes we didn't even get a glass of chilled water. Virgin mojito was pathetic at Rs. 350. I would never want to go back to renaissance. Fairfield is better than Renaissance when it comes to meeting guest expectations. It doesn't seems to be a Marriott property.<br/><br/>Sorry but it's true.

Renaissance Lucknow Hotel L-14 (All Day Dining) international restaurant offers a fine dining experience in a casual setting its located on the 14th floor with amazing scenic views of Lucknow city which makes you drool, vibrant luxury decoration truly making this place a unique and gives you an amazing dine-in experience.<br/><br/>Today we have decided to visit this best in class restaurant. We have welcome by staff members with a rich Indian traditional way via 'NAMASTE' which makes us feel happy :-)<br/><br/>We have seated down and checked the menu, it's focuses mainly on a variety of international cuisines. So we asked the staff whether they serve us spicy tingling 'Chili Paneer' dish along with Naan and Kulcha, they said yes we can do it. We ordered right away. Though order delivery takes some time but finally it comes and served. Chili Paneer simply delicious and truly mouth watering in taste, perfect blend of spices and thick rich gravy makes it yummmmy. Naan and Kulcha are also perfectly cooked. <br/><br/>We called the staff to provide us some 'Vinegar Onions' but don't know what had happened he didn't serve us that's pretty disappointing.<br/><br/>We order again Veg. Noodles. Its taste good and delicious mixture of some extra stuff like bean sprouts and tofu giving crunchy twist. <br/><br/>Our rating based on items we enjoyed and management response.<br/><br/>**********************Rating********************<br/><br/>1. This is easily the best place for an indulgent breakfast in Lucknow. With a range and service to rival the best luxury hotels in India, L14 aims to provide a delightful culinary experience in every aspect. Their breads and baked goods are especially remarkable with a wide array of condiments and cold cuts. They offer at least 6 types of cereals with an entire rack full of dry fruits and 4 types of milk including dairy free options. Apart from this they have separate options for North Indian and South Indian fares with eggs, waffles, pancakes and dosas made to order.<br/><br/>This is definitely one of the best breakfast buffets I have experienced with absolutely no compromise on taste, service or hospitality. Kudos to the chef and management :)

Awesome food, great service, perfect ambience, polite staff. I and my friend went for dinner on a Friday evening and we ordered choosa murg with butter Naan which was very tasty. They also have buffet but we preferred Alakarte as we were not very hungry. The buffet had lot of varieties with different kinds of starters, main course and deserts and I m sure I will go again just to have their buffet. They don't have the concept of serving u finger bowl after you finish your meal so don't even bother to ask them for it. I was told to use the washroom for washing hands. Rest everything was nice.

This is a very nice place with a very good quality of food . The staff is extremely courteous and the place is at the heart of Gomti Nagar. Location and the ambience is just awesome. We ordered Veg as well as Non Veg, both were balanced with quality and quantity.Do visit this place.

As some you might have guessed right from the name, this restaurant is located on the 14th Floor of the tall Renaissance hotel building. <br/><br/>It's an excellent place for going crazy about food. <br/><br/>The ambience is gorgeous at compliments the mood and food both. <br/><br/>All food items served here are extremely fresh, tasty and of supreme quality. <br/><br/>The view from their tables lined up next to the big glasses is breath-taking. <br/><br/>Pro tip: Get your tables reserved in advance and ask for a table with the view. It just makes your food experience a real good one. <br/><br/>

Lucknow is my hometown and I visit every few months. Compared to the metro cities Lucknow has fewer hangouts but this time when I visited, my friends invited me to this place for a meet-up. I loved the ambience and the views. Looking at the River Gomti and Gomtinagar from high above was a great experience especially from a place well-lit up by daylight. The food and service were good too. Would love to visit this place every time I go back to Lucknow now.

The only good thing about L-14 is the view. Service is non existant. Food was terrible. Chicken soup did not taste like chickrn soup. The half roast chicken was hard and tasteless. The stewards kept a bottle of water on the table and never once thereafter either poured the water for us nor asked us if we wanted more ( we were 7 adults). Food took ages to come. All in all a terrible experience. Not worth the amount we spent.

L-14 as the name suggests is on the 14th floor of renaissance. It offers a fine-dining experience with the most breathtaking view in the entire Lucknow city! <br/><br/>Went here in daytime and the place was all warm and nice with sunlight making it's way through all the three corners of this restaurant. The decor is simple yet elegant. Our meal kicked off with some complimentary papad and indian greens.<br/><br/>We kept it simple by ordering the following:<br/><br/>• Caeser Salad: a generous quantity of lettuce, grilled chicken, croutons and parmesan cheese, all done up in caesar dressing. It was neither too dry nor too heavy on the dressing, just perfect. <br/><br/>• Gilafi Seekh Kebab: the softest and the tastiest seekh kebabs ive ever had. I'm falling short of words to describe this one, try it yourself and thank me later! *HIGH RECOMMENDED*<br/><br/>• Dal makhni: Wasn't tasty, a totally no no if you're use to having good dal makhnis. <br/><br/>• Butter chicken: I'm stilling drooling over their butter chicken while i write this review. Perfectly cooked juicy chicken in a perfectly thick gravy, *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*<br/><br/>• Indian breads: garlic naan, butter naan and tandoori roti. All three of them were good. <br/><br/>Overall, our eating experience was great minus the dal makhni. The service is not as good as the food, the staff kept standing/ working on the other side of the restaurant and we had a hard time looking for them. <br/><br/>FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM <br/>@thehungerpolice

Will highly recommend this place for a family or friends outing or even to celebrate any occasion.<br/>- ambience : I'll recommend reserving a window seat in advance. The view is really good and shows one a birds eye view of the surrounding area and structures.<br/><br/>- service : We had a brilliant experience throughout. I would like to give a special mention to our server Gyanendra who won our approval with prompt service and simple behavior. The suggestions on food and questions etc were well answered. Would definitely frequent this place again.<br/><br/>Food - one person took buffet and others went ala carte. Buffet was brilliant with 9/10 items crossing excellence mark. I would like to especially mention the desserts - they were really good for buffet collection especially the chocolate items.<br/>

L 14 of the Renaissance hotel is a very well decorated and soothing place to visit. Their was a guy playing guitar or violin i dont remember exactly but thr music was live. I visited on a sunday afternoon for brunch but the food was not ready so they offered us Ala Carte. <br/><br/>As we were in a rush We ordered Aloo paratha with hot chcocolate and it tasted reasonably well. The hot chocolate was very dilute unlike it should be. The service time was a bit too high but the taste made up for it. All in all good food and good ambience but i felt it is a bit overly priced as compared to other 5 stars in lucknow. But the staff is well mannered and well groomed. class apart.

We came here two times, once for a la carte and other for buffet. We left disappointed both times. We gave 6000 for buffet. There was nothing in the restaurant good enough for this price. Very poor variety of food, less quantity of vegetarian food. All dishes of buffet were near empty. Service was of worst quality. No one attended our table without us going to them. Coffee was served cold. Pasta had no flavour. Their prices and service were not at par with the restaurant's name and status. Shiny tiles , dim lights and a foreign name do not make up a good restaurant. I would not like to come here again.

Have had the breakfast buffet a few times here. Never fails to amaze. Really great spread! But they lack on good quality Waffles (last time they didn't have any though). <br/>

L-14 is the 14th floor of Renaissance Hotel, the tallest building in Lucknow city, and thus has the best view for the visitors to experience! Also, its a fine-dine restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is of the most beautiful places to dine in town! So, as I attended the first day of the Oriental Food Festival serving the amazing Asian cuisine here, I thought of sharing the entire escapade with all of you.<br/><br/>So, the Food and Beverages department at Renaissance Lucknow Hotel has brought together the diverse and authentic flavours from the far East in its ongoing Oriental Food Festival that aims at serving delicacies filled with a variety of oriental tastes that extend beyond the traditional Chinese and Thai food to Japanese, Vietnamese and South Korean dishes. This time it promised food connoisseurs a culinary expedition, rustling up favourites like Singapore Chicken Rice, Satay Ayam, Tofu Satay, various Thai Curries, Schezwan Stir Fries, Pok Choy and Shittake with Burn Garlic, Malay Coconut Curry, Vietnamese Pho, Spinach Tomato Tossed Noodles, Crispy Corn and Black Mushroom, Aromatic Chicken and a lot more regular Indian dishes as well!<br/><br/>The buffet presentation was beautifully laid, as everything appeared so colorful and elegant. You just can't resist getting up from your chair, picking up a plate, and start pouring in the food. I too couldn't resist myself, you see!  The best part about L-14 is that it has this open kitchen for the customers to see how their food is being cooked. Renaissance displays it all unique, I tell you! Also, I interacted with the Director Culinary Sandeep Pande and Chef Sachin who being the sweetest as always, made sure that I had a comfortable and the most wonderful evening, tasting some of their inventory preparations.<br/><br/>This Oriental Food Festival introduced us to an extensive range of dips and sauces like red Thai curry paste, green Thai curry paste, Khow Suey paste and Japanese mayonnaise. Apart from a sumptuous culinary presentation, Renaissance L-14 also offered various salads and side dishes (both veg and non-veg) along with all the essential herbs, spices and necessary ingredients required to prepare these Oriental dishes. My mind was blown with excitement, tbh!<br/><br/>I picked a few vegetarian dishes to try, which included noodles, an Indian curry dish, Indonesian fried rice, crispy corn with mushrooms, roasted eggplant and fruit salad. Whereas Mrinal being a non vegetarian, tried the biryani (which he absolutely loved), chicken satay, sliced fish and shrimps! It just won't sound true if we say we didn't like even one of the dishes. It was all super yum and flavoursome!

Calm and soothing ambience. <br/>Friendly staff.<br/>Perfect view 😍 <br/><br/>We had lunch buffet at the place. They had huge variety of dishes.<br/>The only drawback I found was that the starters were not hot , which ultimately decreased the taste a bit. Scope of improvement lies here only.<br/><br/>The desserts are the star of the place. One will surely love that the most ❤

Been to this place recently, on a family-friends get together. <br/>The ambience is class apart, exceptionally well maintained.<br/>The roof top L-16 is a nice decent place but bit congested and very less seating.<br/><br/>Coming to L-14, as we enter, there is buffet arranged right in the middle and then the seating arrangements. <br/>The view from few corner tables are just amazing.<br/>Those who land up sitting somewhere away from the corners has absolutely no view except the food!<br/><br/>The spread for fruits and desserts was lavish, but quite disappointed with variety of main course.<br/>Every item had equally good taste, only drawback was less variety specially in vegetarian main course. <br/>Desserts were literally mouthwatering, only thing I enjoyed and actually ate to hearts content was desserts. Waffles were just outstanding, so delectable that I still remember the taste.<br/><br/>Rest everything about this place is perfect!

One of the better places in Lucknow.<br/><br/>L14 serves one of the best buffet in Lucknow (Period)!!<br/>The main course served was one of the best I had in Lucknow. The biryani and the lamb was on point. Though the pink sauce pasta failed to impress. The non veg menu justifies its price. Desserts were plentiful and varied.<br/>But all this comes with a caveat. The starters were deplorable specifically the non veg. The veg starters too are nothing to write home about.<br/>The selection of wines too doesn't dissappoint though prices are a bit on the higher end, where a glass of Chardonnay goes above 800 for Jacobs Creek.<br/>The staff is extremely hospitable and adjusting<br/><br/>Will visit again if big main course waali bhook strikes again.

Loved the place and the buffet spread is really nice...the staff is courteous and prompt. We're a group of 5 and ordered the food. We ordered Indian gravies, Indian bread and Pulao. All of them were delicious and we're quite heavy. <br/>On the commercial side, it's better to go for the buffet when there are more pacs as the cost is the same as it'd be for the a la carte.
Shwetabh Mathur
A nice place. Went there in a seafood festival. The staff was polite and courteous when we decided to change from the lacarte to the buffet after seeing the varieties. Only two dampners for me - although fiah were being cooked there but they were not hot enough, became cold quite soon and my mocktail drink, "lemon drop" was topped with just a bit more ice than what i would have liked. It was too chilled. Ouch..<br/><br/>The surkh paneer and the adraki gobhi were good. Nice to see 3 varities of rice - one in biryani, one simple while another was corn and rice which i loved. The salad table was elaborate with even finding masala lachchaa pyaaz which you normally find served with non veg dishes in other places. The star for me was the dessert table and that day i had each of the desserts there, spoilt for stomach space.<br/><br/>Thanks for bringing out the kid in me as i typically raided all the candy jars out there, just a bit more candies in the lollypop variety would be great and do replace kissme with melody..<br/><br/>Its fine dining so you have to keep that in mind that the bill might run more than what you had planned for.

Been to this place quite a lot times. Best breakfast I had compared to any other five star restaurants. It has blend of Indian and western food. Egg Benedict. Sausages. Cheese spreads. Bread varieties. Puddings and cakes. U ask for and they have it. And the view is so amazing. U have ambedkar park..gomti River.. Perfect place to visit the foodies paradise city.

Amazing place to b!!! Stayed here grt ambiance wonderfully kept rooms.staff is very cordial specially at L14,n more compliments to Mr bunty having made our stay very comfortable.god bless

The food was fine. The problem I was it was too conjusted to be kept in the category of fine dine.. The rate were not 1250+ tax it wad 1500+tax so don't know it may be zomato fault aur the restaurant fauly. Except the food neither the managment nor the ambience was upto the mark..

Want to enjoy a full king size meal with an amazing ambiance at a placr situated almost in sky? This is the place to be, amazing food and if you opt for buffet you might feel sigh at the end of the game since you wont even be able to taste the huge food line and feel full quite early. Very well mannered staff, and the view around is just awesome. And whatever you eat, just save some good room for desserts in your stomach, else you might feel cheated :)

Very few matches the quality with the expectations and L14 does that to the infinity and is one of the best fine dine in the city. Located in Gomti Nagar besides the Gomti river gives it an added advantage. L14 is located on the 14th floor and has an elaborate buffet spread. The dinner was special for another reason being my bday. We opted for chicken satay with a pint of beer. In the main course ordered chicken noodles with kung pao. The whole experience was superb. Service prompt and food was yummy. To add to the celebrations, as soon as the manager got to know about my bday, it was a cute cake topped with fruits on my table. Last cherry on the cake. Must visit place and L16 sky bar is classy and splendid with pool view. Ohh dont think about the budget as it is a five star dude !!

L 14 - Renaissance Lucknow Hotel<br/>, the name itself gets you the feel of the elegance and classiness of the place. <br/><br/>Went there for a family dinner and were nicely ushered to our table. The staff is very nice and co-operative.<br/><br/>Ordered Peking soup ,Spring rolls and paneer tikka as starters, Soup was nice and well served but the spring rolls were quite small in size as per the comparison you get in any other restaurant. They were a bit of hard from the outer side which made it a bit of a work eating with fork .<br/>For the Main course <br/>we ordered Paneer labbadar and Kofta accompanied with paneer stuffed naan, everything tasted perfect. And finally, Veg Biryani which for me was a perfect,

I went with my family for lunch . We had the buffet and ordered kulchas .the food is amazing.. althgh I feel the desert could ve been better.the view from the restaurant is something to go for.one can see the entire gomti Nagar from that point.we wanted our kulchas packed...but the staff couldn't provide proper packing facility for it,only being wrapped by the foil sheet. A must try place.

The ambiance n the view from the 14 floor was pretty good .. the ambiance was luxurious .. In all it was relishing experience .. it was worth it 👍

A class in its own way . First the view was awsome the seating area was well arranged . The staff was too good and knw what they are doing . The waitor told me what all is included in the buffet . The menu was big and you taste everthing by jst taking small portions of everything . The chicken starters and the dessert section was remarkable a must go for a non veg lover . It was 3290 for two but was worth it . Will come back again soon .

The view from L14 is absolutely beautiful. Though the food did not appeal that much to me, but i am sure that their buffets are good. It's a good place to have lunch/dinner with friends and family and the best part being that you can talk your heart out here, because the noise is absolutely minimal.

Had visited L-14 with friends for dinner on a Saturday night. A beautiful multi cuisine restaurant in hotel Renaissance with amazing food and superb view. They had an amazing display of buffet but we went in for their A la carte.Ordered Thai green curry veg with steamed rice and spaghetti bolognese. The best Thai food in town I must say. Good variety of desserts in buffet section. A must visit for all. Highly recommended!

A very fulfiling experience of buffet, exquisite variety of mouth watering dishes. Very courteous and attentive staff that go out of their way to make your make your time extra special. The ambience deserves a special mention here that is completely world class!

The Ambience is real classy. With a very evident European Touch.<br/>The Staff is helpful, and the ones who attended me were really good.<br/>The food is tasty and there is plenty of variety & the presentation of the same is highly appreciable.<br/><br/>The only turn off was the high volume visitors and their kids shreaking and running around. No offences but it is a turn off.<br/><br/>Overall an extremely good experience.

What a place to visit...!!!! Lavish spread of marvelous food with awesome ambience..and excellent view of the beautiful city at 14 floor ❤️ it was a great experience.. Main course both the continental and Indian cuisine were delicious, served with hospitality and warmth...by staff and chef as well... The salad and desserts section needs special mention coz it was great... They had variety of salads..with different types of dressings and mouth watering desserts such as tiramisu banana bread..dark chocolates..sevai and lots of other things..💖<br/>The utmost best buffet I had in Lucknow... Food, ambience, staff hospitality...sum up to be a great and overwhelming experience <br/>Must try - vargi parantha with daal makhani and chicken thin crust pizza

The best place in Lucknow to have a complete view of the city and in the evenings its like wow. If you have a sweet tooth then this is the right place you will be going to. I always prefer to indulge myself into the sweets before anything else. The starters are also good on the roof top. The main course is like any other. Recommended for a soothing and sweet evening

I went to the coffee shop with the specific objective of getting a quiche which is rarely available in Lucknow. The coffee shop was extremely small and was basically a stall next to the lobby. Since the hotel is a single building comprising of a tall tower I do understand the constraint of space. The chairs and sofa in the lobby served a duel purpose of serving cafe customers as well as hotel guests. <br/><br/>I ordered a mint chocolate shake, a chicken croissant and of course the quiche I had been hunting though only a mushroom version was available . When the products were delivered I soon discovered that the shake was not to my level of taste. Either the barista noticed my frown ( I was sitting in her line of vision) or purely as a matter of courtesy enquired about the taste. I told her that both the chocolate and the mint were in less quantities than I desired. She immediately took back the shake and proceeded to make a new one as per my instructions. Now this is not something that you get elsewhere. The croissant and pastry were quite good but the quiche left much to be desired. I found the quiche to be somewhat sweet and unpalatable. In all I liked the service but the quality is mixed.

Been here twice !! The first time was to experiment with fancy names & the second to see how they fare in the core spread. <br/><br/>Ambiance of the Hotel is nice and this particular floor with any of the window seats gives a magnificent view of Ambedkar Park & beyond. If a marriage is happening in Taj, you can enjoy fireworks as well. The seats are not something you would associate with luxury. <br/><br/>The Quesadilla had savory mix of vegetables and while its supposed to be a Mexican dish, it felt i am having an European variant <br/><br/>Falafel wrap was a disappointment. It did not come out right. Thankfully i had ordered a Paneer tikka and it never goes wrong. At first it did'nt look like i will be able to finish it but despite its dimensions, it melted and made its space. <br/><br/>Went their on my veg day both times and the chicken is still left to be tried. Though my non vegetarian friends took a bite of the falafel and asked me to stop punishing myself & try chicken. Will post first hand experience of Chicken post October 2016

Superb place to say the least - has got one of the best buffet in the city. It has got the plenty of options in starters, main course and dessert. <br/><br/>Apart from the food, the view is incomparable. The city looks beautiful from the 14th floor.  Also, not to forget, the live music performance just adds to the whole experience. <br/><br/>Do give it a try - you wont be disappointed.

apart from ambiance nothings worth, that too the place adjacent to window is all reserved they will make u sit in the middle seats, and then u will see the walkins been provided the reserved seats, then anyhow u keep it going, we asked for 650 ml beer they said they only had pints, ok with that but then the pints were finished and they say Sir we can provide 650ml bottle but we have only 1 left, ok with that too, but then u see that last bottle on every other table.. that was quiet annoying and we felt cheated. It was our first and the last visit, thanks for providing such a lovely experience...

The place was great, went their with family, the food wasn't the best, but it was pretty good, loved the salad bar, the view and the ambience is what makes it worth it, the service was quite good and it did match the expectation, all in all we had a good night out, something that we were looking for, so all worth it.

Yes the view is good but that's not the reason someone would burn the pocket for <br/><br/>Food is decent but services are horrendous <br/><br/>There was absolutely no one to serve any request <br/>Fetching breads took them 15 minutes! <br/><br/>Totally detest the services and won't go ever again

I think one of the most courteous places in the city, great service , really courteous staff. The ambience itself is mesmerising . We went for lunch and tried their buffet . The buffet has mostly continental dishes with a blend of North Indian food as well, i took the veg buffet and was nt much satisfied with the cuisine . My love for mushrooms made me jump to dat conclusion, as der was no mushroom recipe to quench my taste buds. Yes the desserts wer intricately placed and wer beyond counting . Their salads especially the chicken n turkey salami , which my friend tasted wer a delight for nonveg lovers. Full marks for the ambience bt for food , if u r going for a buffet barbeque nations is a much better option.

My first visit to a place in my hometown with my friend, we decided to go for a breakfast, so I made a reservation directly calling in the hotel, entered the hotel nice soothing ambience reached the L14 restaurant greeted by a lady and she took us to our reserved table and asked us for a choice of tea/coffee or a juice for which we ordered masala tea and a cappuccino, server came to our table with 2 cappuccinos, which I mentioned, he apologized and got me my masala tea. This was not at all expected from MARRIOT property, although the tea and coffee was really good. We went to the buffet which was as expected fabulous lavish buffet with all fresh Ingredients. We decided to place an order for some eggs which was taken by a person very well explained by him, I ordered for 5 eggs egg white omlette with 2 pieces chicken sausages well cooked with bacon by side, when the order came there were sausages bacon and an omlette but that omlette seems to be a 1 egg omlette which I asked the server piyush he apologized and requested so that he can get it changed. Again I have to wait for my omlette for 7 to 8 minutes more, and I end up eating my sausage and bacon without the egg, then we went to the buffet to get some flavoured yoguhrt, when we returned our table was well cleared but there were no cutlery to eat food and there were no server near to our table I need to waive my hand for atleast 1 to 2 minutes to the person standing near the juice counter. Well wanted to give 1 on service and promptness but food was amazing and fabulous but pathetic service ever experienced.

Lavish spread of good food, Beautiful view of Lucknow city and good service summarises my experience at L 14. With an entirely different and unique menu, the buffet experience is exciting and memorable here. The Salad bar and Dessert Counter need special mention. <br/>The selection and layout of the counters is overwhelming, and so is the taste. Starters were limited but tasted awesome. Smoked Salmon, Turkey and Prawn Salad made my heart leap out with joy. Main course dishes from the Indian cuisine and Continental were delicious and were served with warmth, both from the burner and the Chef. Hospitality and service is applaudable and the view of Gomtinagar from the huge glass windows adds up to the experience.<br/><br/>Verdict: The best buffet experience in Lucknow City. The food, ambiance and hospitality sum up to give you a unique, overwhelming and memorable experience. Three Cheers !!!

I went to L-14 3 weeks back to celebrate bday of my beloved wife. I booked for reservation before in advance and was surprised to know that they dont do anything special to celebrate one's bday. Even then I went ahead as I had already made up my mind. When I reached there with the bday cake they said its not allowed. At first they dont do anything special and then they dont even allow if someone wants to do something. Even after requesting to the duty manager the cake was not served. That was the height of indecency I have ever seen in a restaurant. And then they say its a rule. I want to know if there are such rules why those were not told to me when I called to book for reservation and clearly told about my wife's bday. <br/><br/>I am deeply disappointed and even after going to several 5 stars this was my worst experience till date. I request your team to get rid of such rules and if you cant at least inform them in advance. If i knew that I would have never visited your restaurant to celebrate a special occassion.<br/><br/>Abhinav Agarwal <br/>+91-8800404880

The ambience of this place is awesome but when it comes to food they need to do a LOT. The food was very average except the desserts which were I would say were above par. The food lacked taste although the variety was ok but something missing . They need to put taste to there food although they have improved a lot from my previous encounter with them . Staff is very courteous and ambience is there usp.

As expected the grub, ambience and quality was par excellence. This property lives up to the name of its predecessors from J.W. Marriott. Just a minor wrinkle...had to settle down for Single Malt (Glenfiddich 18 YO) when was expecting some nice wines to be available. <br/><br/>A friendly suggestion....kindly try and maintain the stock of red as well as white wines present on the menu apart from the regular oh so popular..."SULA"........either keep them all whatever is present on the menu or just chuck - it - off from the menu completely...<br/><br/>Coz connoisseurs like me will "never settle in for a Sula in the name of wine".<br/><br/>Rest all good....Looking forward to check out ""FAIRFIELD"" pretty soon...

My first ever experience at a luxurious restaurant!<br/><br/>I would have given it 4.5 only if the service was better and the food wasn't cold!<br/><br/>Everything about this place is excellent apart from its service and main course dishes<br/>These 2 are literally 1/5<br/><br/>The only thing that gets your attention and keeps you staying is the dessert 🍨 counter!<br/>My god i have never had such delicacies<br/>One time visit<br/>

My first ever luxurious lunch :p<br/>Keeping the fun aside. What a marvel this place is. <br/>It surely lives up to its name. Perfect ambience and location, just adjacent to Taj Hotel. A giant 16 floor building that hosted its buffet area or lunching area at the 14th floor. <br/>They welcome each of their guests very warmly. So as I said they have a buffet system and have a wide variety of cuisines to offer.<br/>They run several schemes & offers too that change often. I was lucky enough to taste the penne pasta & pancake offer that is prepared only when you ask them to. I visited this place in last winters so don't exactly remember the dishes I had but one thing I didn't forget was their desserts.<br/>I mean it was very difficult for me to choose because of so many options from macaroons to red velvet cake & mousses. <br/>To sum it all it was definitely a lifetime lunching experience for me.

One of the newer entrants to the Lucknow food circle. If ambience is your top criterion this place fills it perfectly. Be it a date or a family outing it can never go wrong here at this restaurant. The food variety on offer is extensive and well thought-out. But the vegan people would feel a little left out as choice for them is limited. Service is top notch. I've been here twice and it feels nice every time. It is on the expensive side so keep that in mind. Tip- A afternoon visit in the winters will be the most satisfying lunch.

What are restaurants for? Food right. Good food to be more precise and that's what this place lacks. Good food. Went there with really high expectations. Kindly improve the quality of your food.

Our order included the Gilafi Seekh Kebab, Chicken Satay, Ceaser Salad, Fish and Chips, Kung Pao, Paneer Lababdar and Rotis. <br/><br/>Decor : The view from the restaurant is perfect. Probably, one reason why people flock to this restaurant. Rate : 4.5/5<br/><br/>Food : The food overall was good. Finally, a better option than the bland and greasy food served in other restaurants. The chicken satay was the winner. Fish and Chips was below expectations. 4.5/5<br/><br/>Service : The service took long. We waited almost for 40 minutes after ordering the repeat order. The staff was courteous but, the service surely does need improvement. <br/><br/>Overall a good experience. A must visit for Chicken Satay.

I am glad that Renaissance here in Lucknow. Talking about the food at L-14 was lavish buffet with so many variety of dishes whether you start from Starters to Main course & end to Sweet Dishes. I enjoyed the Starters 👍🏻 and Sweet Dishes were very tempting you'll be confused where to start from 😄. So my recommend for buffet would be definitely L-14 👍🏻and thanks to Chef Sandeep Pande 😊 for offering such a splendid menu and good food.

Highly disappointing experience. We were extremely keen to try the roof top bar and went with high expectations.. The staff was highly uninterested.. The bar has very limited options due to certain internal issues.. And when asked for suggestions. 2-3 waiters had no idea and after repeatedly reminding then to attend to us nobody was showing interest.. There was a private party taking place inside and perhaps all staff were directed there. After complete lack of service we finally got up and left without ordering.. I hope someone at the bar is taking note. What makes or breaks 5 star experience is the service and we left assured we do not wish to return again. We later went to taj for dinner and drinks next door and rest assured we finally felt we are dining at a 5 star.. Horrible Renaissance. L16..

the only good thing about it was the view of ambedkar park from top except it nothing else is worth talking about, food was disgusting. only thing that was given as starter was supe, that too was cold and tasteless.for the first time in my entire life i got to taste salty ice cream all three flavors- Strawberry, vanilla and choco. and they charged around Rs. 1400 per person with taxes for lunch buffet and that was not wort at all. breads were stale and cold (rubber type) in fact i would Prefer a "nearby dhaba" over it. I think only thing that they were charging us for was the "Brand Name" attached to it, really sad for us that brand name doesn't adds on taste and flavor to the food. <br/>    would suggest others to go for some other option if they want to have tasty food but if you wanna check in in your FB account, and flaunt your expensive branded taste you can go for it.

Remarkable thing about this restaurant is its view - overlooking Taj Lucknow and beyond that beautiful view of the park along with Gomti. (Please refer pics). I went there for a quick meal and had a falafel wrap.<br/><br/>Atmosphere was highly noisy as there was a kitty party going on (how else do you keep the business going during otherwise not so busy lunch hour) and i had to take a corner seat to avoid the crowd.<br/><br/>The attendant was highly attentive and served me the quickes meal in a hotel restaurant (he actually gave me a falafel wrap prepared for the kitty party ladies as they were yet to finish their first course). All in all - satisfactory taste, wow views and efficient service. Good Job Marriott.

Ok yesterday i went to marriots L-14  with my parents for dinner i booked the table in the morning but when i reached at my time of dinner table was already occupied, that was 1st issue, secondly there were so much yak yak so much shouting and indiscipline in the hotel like a fish market music was awful, its marriots they should have atleast served with some pappad, onions and pickles which every restaurant provides, but nothing was there until i ordered some onion, food was just ok nothing special which i was expecting,at the end when i was expecting a finger bowl or a napkin,or a hot towel to wash my handds waiter told me to go in the washroom to wash hands and wow i see their a mother who is cleaning shit of his baby in the washbasin, i felt like puking over there, and last issue u wont believe guys <br/>I paid my bill through my card and machine had some problem the waiter kept swiping my card untill the card got declined and i got a message that double the amount of my bill has been deducted from my account, now thats some really good shit to suffer for me,and now manager says it will take 5 to 6 days for my balance to return my fund,in short it was not less than a nightmare for me.Shame on you Marriott's staff.

Didn't like the food too much!! I'd prefer bbq nation anyday for the price range!! The ambience is definately a thumbs up and the staff is pretty professional but the fooding could've been better!! There's a lot of variety of food but none of it satisfies the palate!! It's more of a European taste than Indo- Asian food that people here would love better!! For me it was like "water water everywhere and not a drop to drink" ....... Lots of variety but nothing satiating

This restaurant is delightful both in atmosphere and food.Service is courteous.Widespread layout in salads and desserts. Not much to offer in buffet if compared to Barbeque. The food is average in taste.

Subtle ambience , widespread layout ,a beautiful view and a widespread layout buffet. Renaissance has good food, but with the exhorbidant prices, the quality and money pair do not gel so well . Yes, its a good pick for a family dinner, but only if you have big pockets.<br/>Instagram @rags300892<br/>Twitter @rags300892

The most classy place in Lucknow. Lives up to the hype of the name. It is surely one of the few luxury hotel - restaurants that just doesnt provide a great ambience but also good food both in taste and variety. Go for the buffet if you are a foodie. Worth it !!!

Lot of friends had recommended me to try the buffet , but frankly speaking the experience was not equal to the reviews I had heard.<br/>The food was average, for non vegetarians the options were still available while in case of vegetarians the layout was below average. The best options available for vegetarian was the dal makhani .The Veg Thai curry was way too watery, and panner was bland.<br/>While on the other hand the salads and deserts were good , the ambience is amazing and the service is OK<br/>Overall I would say its not worth the money paid.

I went here for the first time. The ambience was beautiful and the services were also good. The view from the 14th floor was awesome it almost covered the whole of gomti nagar. I liked the concept.

New facility at Lucknow with nice facade, went to arrange a family function, the restro at 14th floor is having rocking views from all sides , rather is is exposing the roofs of riverside mall & taj vivanta, they people need to maintain their roof also for their good image. Coming to service , it was pathetic as they were hardly serve the starters on table as agreed by them, however on giving pressure & calling the guy who made promised the service on table , they serviced few starters which were not hot & repeating the one snack again & again , we taken the buffet lunch , the taste was just ok,but the arrangement of Veg & Non Veg dishes was mixed making our guests little confused, <br/><br/>Good for location<br/><br/>Not value for money<br/><br/>Need lot of improvements in service & food
Hayat
Lovely place! Seriously doesn't look anything like Lucknow. Salads, main course, desserts every single thing I ate helped me forget that I am in Lucknow right now! The best thing is the height you are sitting at,the view outside the huge windows is breathtaking 😍

Recently I visited with my friends, just to check out the resturant as we use to regularly visit Sky Bar. The ambience is superb, one can get a very beautiful view of Lucknow from this 14th floor resturant, they have buffet system, but I can't find something tasteful. Being a subsidiary of Marriott Group didn't expected this quality food. Need lots of improvement.

Wow is the word....super amazing variety , most beautiful ambienc and Ya of course very welcoming staff that serves best ice cream in town, what else I should write. Just waiting to go again

A great fine dine restaurant as far as ambience is concerned. You get the complete view of the city from the 14th Floor. Sunday Brunch is a must try. Wide array of dishes accompanied by mojito and other drinks makes a perfect match. They've improved significantly in the past couple of months. This place is one of best in Lucknow for Brunch presently.<br/>UPDATE- SERVICE HAS DETERIORATED A LOT. Waited for Mojito for more than 45 mins. Staff looked confused and perplexed.

Awesome restaurant on top floor with panoramic scenic beauty of new Lucknow Gomtinagar is really worth visiting for awesome sumptuous buffet dinner.<br/>

L 14 appeared to me to be more a railway station in India than a restaurant. There was so much noise all around that I could hardly hear my wife and daughter talk. People were milling around like it was a shaadi. Many of the diners taking the buffet stood near the counter, picking up papad and other stuff and munching away. There were kids squatting on the floor and eating. If the ambience was horrible, food was average and not worth the money I spent. There are many other restaurants that could have provided excellent stuff with this money. Very bad experience.

Let me describe my breakfast buffet saga at this wonderful restaurant in the newly opened renaissance. Spread was huge which is expected in a Marriott hotel but the quality makes me give it a 4 star rating. <br/><br/>Starting with Indian breakfast, South Indian dishes like Poha, upma, idli, vada were good and better than north Indian counterparts like puri and paranthas. A little surprising considering that we are talking of a restaurant in Lucknow. But the real good part came in English breakfast of sausages, potato dish and mushroom. They were mouth watering. A large variety of juices, milk items (served in wierd large bowls) and omelette rounded up the breakfast well. Service was excellent. <br/><br/>Should someone especially go for breakfast if not living in the hotel? Yes, a very filling and satisfying lunch with lot of English food options is hard to find in Lucknow. Though, the prices I am not sure as I had it included in my stay package.

We had dinner buffet. <br/>The main attraction of this fine dine-in is the view of city when you sit near the glasses, which is breathtaking no doubt. <br/><br/>Now coming to the food , Indonesian chicken soup was pathetic. <br/>3 starters in both veg and non veg... In which Cuban chicken and eggplant were the worst. <br/>Murg tikka was avg. Fish wasn't spicy at all.. Only paneer tikka was the saviour.. <br/><br/>In main course non veg , Murg dum biryani with Mutton gravy was the best ! <br/>After jhelofyin the non veg starters, didn't have courage to try the non veg main course dishes. <br/><br/>Veg main course was fine. <br/>Chinese cuisine was very delicious though. Fried Rice, assorted veg in hot garlic sauce were yummy and noodles were totally different from any other place. Must try. <br/>Baked veg was also good. <br/><br/>Had decent options in desserts but none of them are worth mentioning here. All were just ok ok types. <br/><br/>Service isn't up to the mark of a 5 star.. I had to ask every time to get the plates cleared . And if you are taking away the spoons and forks as well then it's a responsibility of a waiter to bring the fresh ones which didn't happen many times. <br/><br/>No one bothered to ask which type of Indian bread I want, and when I asked for it, I had to wait 15 mins just for 1 tandoori roti. <br/><br/>Taj's buffet is way better than Renaissance. <br/>Sorry to say but Renaissance didn't impress me much, except it's aerial view and rooftop skybar <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Exquisite spread in veg and non veg complemented with a wide drink variety. This place is definitely worth a visit for special occasions. Location is quite convenient to access and the sky bar affords a majestic view.<br/>Food is always freshly prepared and very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff

Visited today morning the Renaisaance for breakfast. The place has a spectacular view, the ambience is great. The food spread is extensive fresh juices, fruits, live egg and pancake, breads, cakes, smoked salmon (decent salmon, pinkish orange coloured), cheese, meat, North Indian and continental. To top it the freshly brewed coffee ..... just loved the place. Its decently priced, as compared to Taj next door ... surely would visit again... and highly recommended for breakfast. I had posted a query with the website of marriot for table booking last night for which i got a call from hotel today morning which speak volumes about service and the service staff kept asking everyone if anything they needed or is everything is fine.. loved the experience

I went there for Sunday brunch . First of all chat, bbq dishes and Momos cannot be included in breakfast and why you calling it brunch when breakfast was totally non-existent and moreover no hot tea or coffee . I am totally disappointed with the place and the amount you pay here for Sunday brunch is a total waste . They offer variety but food is tasteless . They offer good salad bar and desserts but again did not satisfy my tastebuds. Only good thing was the view but just for a view why to pay so much you can go to any tall building near ambedkar park and you can have the same view. All in all bad experience👎

After vivanta by taj and clarks awadh a new group finally came to lucknow JW Marriot and renaissance is a must place to go where you can see lucknow's beauty all together in a different way. Buffet was quite good, live pancake counter was best. Desserts are amazing.

If there's anywhere heaven in lucknow its surely here ... A very classy ambience .. the staff really had a sense of hospitality .. nd what about the fo0d... its probably the best u can get in lucknow..<br/><br/>I made a second visit today and really came back fully satisfied .. one of the staff member first oriented us through the entire buffet ... what they had was..<br/><br/>1. Two kinds of soup(veg and nonveg) with 4-5 kinds of breads nd buns accompanied with 4-5 kinds of cheese<br/><br/>2. 3 nonveg starters <br/><br/>3. Around 6 nonveg maincourse dishes <br/><br/>4. A huge buffet spread of 21 deserts <br/><br/>5. 6 nonveg nd 6 veg salad dressings <br/><br/>There was an ample of variety in veg too but to0k least intrest in having a look at them 😛I bett u visit once and u'll surely not regret paying 1200 bucks for buffet lunch per person.<br/>

D only thing that makes u realise its a 5-star is d price of buffet. Dis place is a complete waste of money. People like me who have been pampered over d years by Barbeque Nation, would be highly disappointed at dis place. Forget serving starters at ur table, they have just 2-3 starters on offer. Overall menu is bland with very limited options, service is pathetic & all dis comes at a hefty price tag of Rs.1200+taxes. <br/>Lucknowites, its a sincere advice not to visit dis place.

One of the best lunch buffets on offer in Lucknow. Interesting salads, delicious starters and main course. The fish and chicken options really nice but its their palak mutton, with its melt in the mouth quality that was the winner for me. Good service. Only let down by a non functional air conditioning which blew hot and cold intermittently. Given the fact that the sun comes in directly on one side of the restaurant, w/o effective air conditioning became a bit uncomfortable. Also, tables laid out too close to each other. Food - 5 ambience - 3

Sometimes you can judge a restaurant by its salads. I've been three times now and never been disappointed by them. They do a fabulous job with their salads. The starters are usually cold and uninspiring. With the soup you hit the high point again. In the mains some highs with western dishes, but the rest is pretty ordinary stuff. The bar rises again with the desserts. A 5 on 10 for the tiramisu (could have got 7 if it were colder). The other desserts are worth the calories. The service is responsive and good. The view exceptional. Maybe the Taj down the road will learn a thing or two. What more can you say about a buffet with smoked salmon.

For the money you pay, food at L-14 is absolutely average. The buffet spread looks awesome and the restaurant accords a great view of the city, BUT, the food, which should have been the mainstay of such a restaurant, left us absolutely unimpressed. <br/>Lucknow has tonnes of restaurants not quite as fancy as L-14 that serve fabulous food. So while L-14 give you the fine dine experience, it leaves you totally dissatisfied food-wise. <br/>The weekend dinner buffet costs Rs 1100 per person (excluding taxes). Like I said, the spread is impressive, but there wasn't anything on the menu (barring the cold cuts at the salad bar) that had the wow-factor. <br/>Again, in Lucknow, matching up to the standard of awadhi food is tough. By that standard, the palak gosht and dum biryani were average. The veg variants; paneer makhni and baby corn masala were also very average to taste. <br/>The South Asian cuisine--balsamic coated vegetables barely had any salt in them. Felt a tad tasteless, some of it. <br/>On the plus side, the staff was very courteous and receptive to the feedback. Considering this restaurant is just about one month old, I'm hoping the food preparations will see some changes for the better.

So finally this place has been ticked off my list...<br/>A super fine dine place with an amazing ambience... N evn bttr aerial view of the city..<br/>The breakfast buffet was a lavish spread of both indian and continental cuisine... However i preferred the sweet breads section which was full of different variety of breads, rolls and donuts...<br/>A must try is sugar coated donut with nutella spread.... Awsum it was... Nd the omelette tht they serve on the live counter...<br/>An amazing place to experience...

Obvious, the highlight of the place is the aerial view but what strikes next the most is a lavish buffet dinner at a cost Rs.1100 (excluding alcohol). The restaurant serves variety of cuisines both international and domestic and it is such a delight to savour the authentic taste. I totally loved their dessert section. The alcohol is also priced right. It was a pleasant dining experience and I am definitely going back once I am in Lucknow again.

It's a nice addition to the Lucknow's restaurant list. Nice food, decent ambiance and super stunning view. However the variety of veg food is a little limited and the service is very slow. <br/><br/>It would be good if they can add some Authentic Awadhi Cuisines to the menu. <br/><br/>

Wow. First thing you notice at this restaurant is the view. Out of the world. The best in lucknow undoubtedly. This place exudes class, which is actually expected by a Marriot owned place. The buffet is very affordable inspite of it being a 5 star. I shall not comment on the food, just go and relish your taste buds. Amazing food. Just one thing I'd like to mention, if you're planning to dine in the evening, do call and make a reservation. They are usually full and have a waitlist.

A great new addition to the restaurant scene in Lucknow. You have to get a table by the window for brilliant views below. The restaurant is on the 14th floor.<br/><br/>The service was fast. We didn't go for the buffet. Just had some soups, minestrone and tom kha. Both were decent. <br/><br/>Would love to come back for the buffet.

We went to The Renaissance Hotel for lunch on October 2nd. I should have made a reservation earlier but I didn't, and the hotel was kind enough to seat is in the last minute (despite a huge kitty party underway)<br/><br/>First things first, the view. It's outstanding! The restaurant, serves only buffet, and is on the 14th floor. You get a panoramic view of Lucknow. We spent a few minutes just taking in the view. <br/><br/>The buffet has quite a large spread - from an array of salads, cheese and breads to a range of Indian curries, rotis and meat. You honestly have to be very strategic about what you decide to eat. Between us, we sampled North Indian, Italian, Chinese, South Indian and Asian cuisine. All of it was delicious. <br/><br/>Now, the desserts deserve a separate review. I wouldn't mind going back just for the desserts. <br/><br/>What struck me was how accommodating and friendly the staff was. The chef put together a special off-the-menu pasta for me. <br/><br/>At roughly 700 bucks a head - it was completely worth it! Can't wait to go back :)

This place justifies the reputation of J.W Marriott hotels.<br/>The food they serve has a continental delicacy.<br/>Services and ambiance is upto the mark<br/>Plus we get value for money.....

Had the buffet, went in early, the place slowly filled up and the service went for a toss. Management team has to pull up its socks, the menu was decent a good mix, nothing much to write home about on the international menu. Desserts were great and Indian also was good. Table service for breads was really absent.
