Amazing Lucknowi Cuisine experience !!
First : It's a bit too expensive !!
Second : Quantity per serve is less.
Third : But that's how such restaurants are meant too be.
Good Food, though not all dishes, they were a little blunt.
They do have a good hand over Mutton dishes.
The live Music could be a bit too loud for a few.
Overall a decent enough experience.
I’ve always been skeptical about trying authentic Mughlai food at a high end places as I’ve preferred old Lucknow when it comes to Mughlai I went to sepia for my wife’s birthday and we ordered chicken korma amongst other things but to my surprise it was really good I would recommend everyone to have it it was delicious

Visited this restaurant with family on a Saturday. Live music was good- melodious, not too loud and a good mix of contemporary and retro. Keep it up Deepika and Akash.
Food was also great. Gilawati kababs, a favourite dish in Awadhi cuisine, was melt-in-your-mouth and went down well with the paratha. Other dishes were also pretty good as was the service. Thank you Gyan and Vara for taking such good care of a large group.

This place needs no introduction as its a part of Renaissance Lucknow they don't compromise on quality.
It was my third visit to this place and hereby I'm writing this review. Not just for bloggers table but I've been here individually with my family as well and believe me the staff has always been friendly and hospitable.
Mr. Talwar the chef is brilliant.
He has depth knowledge in his field n it is clearly visible by his work.
It is a perfect place for family dinner parties.
Has a huge seating capacity n live music is been played almost everyday.
The female singer (Idk her name ) has my heart.
The last time I was here I had some authentic Rajasthani n Nizami cuisines ( Hyderabadi cuisines)

Hey everyone so day before yesterday I went to renaissance and over there, there is a place known as sepia which is known for his authentic Indian cuisine restaurant in Lucknow. It was a lovely day and meal was so good I really appreciate the food and service was a bit late and over here it was my third time and this time I click the pictures for reviewing in zomato. I would say that they should improve a bit service issues as soon as possible because all time I face this late service issue. And over all this place is must visit place.
Nice and quiet place. Live music is awesome. Went last week. Food is good. Dahi ke kabab and Khatte Meethe Baigan are awesome and a must try.
A splendid evening with loved ones :) The food was just delicious...do try galawati kebabs...I ordered murg biryani and it was just superb...there was even live music which was the centre of attraction of our evening...it was a memorable experience!!

Zabardasttt food... Super taste, approriate amount of oil and spices. Location is superb. Ambience is very family oriented and cosy. Live music adds to the feel.
Hospitality is amazing. Puneet was the manager when I went and he was very humble, agile and service oriented.

Just loved the full ambience and also the atmosphere with full 5star staff services.. Hatsoff.. No words for being so generous and humble till the moment i reach this hotel and after party leaving the hotel.. The vallet Service was to the point ( no hoch poch ) The food was just amazing big thumbsup 👍 for the chef and his team... Being a Bengali , the chicken dishes was soo much too the point, like I never tasted before in my life.. And last but not the least.. Sweet Dishes..Where is the chef.. I really want to know , Wanna meet him personally and give him tight hug yaar seriously..?? What a Sweet dishes he made.. the best was the brownie cake..💕💕
A good hotel with hygenic quality and quantity maintained clean and green served coustomer friendly food.
It is the best and one of my favorite place which serves authentic mughlai and awadhi cuisines at the nominal prices. The food is really really very yummy so I recommend you all if you are a non veg lover and wanna eat some mughlai cuisines. Hop in to this place once and I guarantee you will not regret. The ambience of this place is up to the mark as this is mughlai theme based.The service was very good. So overall experience was very nice.
Delicious food, soothing ambience, and great service. The staff was very friendly and warm especially Mr. Shubham Dwivedi. I went to celebrate my parent’s wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Must visit. Once again.... delightful food.

For live music: good singers but bad choice of music...may be because of the public that usually goes there. Place this decent should have better taste in music too...
The highlight of my sojourn in Lucknow! I made the journey from Delhi just to have Awadhi dinner. Sepia was the best of all I tried. For the quality of dinner, the pricing is so much more reasonable than in Delhi.
The service was excellent, too! Kudos to Pankaj, who’s the floor manager, and Ramkaran, who’s among the waiting staff.
For reference, I had been to Tunday Kababi and Idrees Biryani for street food. Just don’t think they were worth the buzz. If you want properly conserved Awadhi cuisine, go nowhere else than Sepia.
Awesome Ambience with good in taste food and services...
It was a great evening, with beautiful ghazals, tasty food and very warm service. Shubham was especially nice with apt recommendations for food. Will definitely be going there again.
