Food was good. I ordered Paneer Tikka, Ghungroo Biryani (recommended by them) and falooda kulfi. Let's begin with Paneer Tikka, it was great, loved the flavour and presentation. Didn't enjoy the Ghungroo Biryani, had high hopes from it but didn't taste that great, vegetables were mostly deep fried and spices were missing. Didn't taste like actual biryani. Falooda kulfi was good, especially kulfi, would have loved the falooda if served with little garnish and presented nicely.
Service was good and they need to improve on it. Also they need to improve their atmosphere and ambience.
Overall will give 3.5 Star.

Moti Mahal is a very good place to visit...you will get all the happiness here (means food)
They have three restaurants , a mithai shop and all the sweets like Emarti with rabadi ( Rs 50/-) which I tried and a rasmalai which I forgot to capture...alooo chaat here is far better that royal cafe which cost me around Rs 45/- half and Rs 70/- full .....khulfi faluda -Rs 70/- Chinese food here is also very delicious and if you want to enjoy it with your family surely you can visit this place for fine dining and lunch.

So the only thing that ive tried of moti mahal is kulfi. And i would say it is one of the most amazing kulfi i have tried in lucknow. They serve it with falooda. Besides that they also have kulfi sticks. But i would recommend everyone to try out kulfi fulda. It is usually crowded.<br/><br/>Location: located in the main streets of hazratganj and easy to locate.<br/><br/>Price- not heavy on pockets and is reasonable.<br/><br/>Would recommend to visit this place :)<br/>

Had ordered dosa, tomato soup, veg Manchurian but nothing was worth eating. The stuffing of dosa was rotten, tomato soup was having overpowering sugar level and veg Manchurian was over spicy. How can a resto with such a good rating deliver crap as food. Kindly change your chef, food like this deserves refund

We visited this restaurant after 4 months recently amidst Corona pandemic. Needless to say I enjoyed visiting this restaurant just like old times. We were scared to dine in but we were hungry so took the risk. Food was good and they were maintaining all protocols. We ordered paneer dish along with Tandoori Butter Roti and Imarti Rabri for dessert. Restaurant was clean and not crowded obviously. It was overall an amazing experience in theses troubled times.

The Holi evening was spent roaming in the hazararganj market with the snacky dinner in this restaurant...the place was packed with the festivity crowd and even then they managed to serve everyone with a great pace.<br/>The last restaurant meal before lockdown was indeed delectable...the scrumptious chole bhature and the aloo tikki were flavoursome and the faluda kulfi was just the perfect ending...a place to definitely try whenever you happen to be in search of food in hazararganj.

One of the best places in hazaratgunj to have lip smacking chaat items. Their Aaloo Tikki ans Matar Tikki both are really good. But where Moti Mahal shines is the sweets and deserts. Their Lassi is heavenly and Imarti is out of the world. Kulfi Falooda is really good too. Overall for chat and Indian Sweet lovers this place is a paradise.

A family restaurant with a lot of variety of foods like South Indian, North Indian & Chinese dishes are served here apart from fast food snacks items which are quite famous among youngsters. And above all the moderate pricing is an advantage too. Here one can find some good dishes like Chhole Bhature & Masala Dosa & Idlis etc. In sweets their Mewe ke Laddos are also famous. And Gajar ka Haluwa is the best thing available in winters. Kulfi Faluda is also good in summers It has a small basement restaurant & sweet shop at the main ground floor. Service is OK. Situated at the heart of the main Hazratganj market in Lucknow, it certainly has an edge in its popularity. Overall ranking for chat, food & sweets quality is 3 star ie 'average' from me. And so is the service.

We tried makhan Malai dessert. It was for rs 60 per 100 grams. The dessert is similar to whipped cream which is sweetened and flavoured with cardamom and saffron. The dessert was light and airy. It was worth trying to taste Malai makhan is Lucknow.

Just returning from this place. Basically I am from Kolkata, and a vegetarian. So I went to this place to have dahi vada and dosa. In the name of dahi vada they gave probably sweet syrap where little bit of curd was mixed. Only two small vadas were charged with 95 rs + gst.<br/>Okay, then came dosa which was not well coocked. Chutney was runny and there was not a single piece of coconut. And it was charged 105 rs+ gst.<br/>Overall a horrific experience. Too over priced and over rated. Would Never recommend anyone.<br/>

The food served is just awesome. i have almost tried all the paneer dishes. no doubt they have best food and sweets as well. they even serve kulfi late night. whenever we come from late night movies we definitely try the kulfi here, its just awesome. Though it is quite conjusted. i have given 4 stars because the staff over here is quite rude and lazy. They must try to improve the behavior of the staff. Overall its good for foodies.

This was my first experience with Moti Mahal through Zomato, and I am very disappointed by the food.<br/>I had requested them to make the food non-spicy, on comment as well as on the call I made to them. But the curry delivered was extra spicy. When I made the call to them, the staff was rude, he wasn't willing to speak. He said you please mention it in comment during order. I told him it is for the kid but he did not listen. It seemed like he was doing a favour to me by speaking to me.<br/>This is not the experience one expects from a restaurant like this.

Good North Indian food, they still retain traditional flavors. Everything is good here, though I love their chole bhature and muli parathe the most. Try their sweets as well.. one of the better known places here. Dining area is crowded during peak hours and noisy. Parking is a challenge.

Moti Mahal is quite popular in Hazratganj area for its chaats, sweets, kulfi and other vegetarian items. We tried there Gajar ki halwa and Hot jalebis. Both were pretty good. Jalebi is available in the morning and the best part is, once you place your order, they will prepare the jalebi freshly and then serve you. If you like sweets, Moti Mahal will be a good option in Hazratganj.

The kulfis are amazing- milky, nutty, not too sweet. The imarti with rabri is also a little piece of heaven and it's amazing to watch them making them fresh.<br/><br/>Only drawback- imarits only to be enjoyed on the spot.<br/><br/>We wanted to take imartis back to Delhi with us. We were delighted that they made them fresh for us, but the packaging (a wicker basket with a bit of foil with a rubber band on top) is not conducive for a flight and they also got them to soak a bit too much sugar syrup. The economics of that, when selling by weight, makes sense. It was a shame regarding the taste and texture though.
