Evening well spent. Delicious food, soulful live performance and excellent service. We walked in but thankfully was adjusted after a while so really appreciate that. Make sure to make prior reservations.

Recently went for dinner. Service was too good... Place was hygienic.. Ambience was too cool and peaceful. Hospitality is on point It made my evening good. From in to out staff was supportive. Rating- Food-5 Ambience-5 Service-5 Highly recommended for family dinner and lunch. Must try Paya Shorba,Veg soups,chicken tikka,Fish tikka,veg and non veg kababs,paneer tikka,shahi tukda Wanna shoutout Ashok -the manager and Alok,Ishika for making my evening great..

Salan. Specially Urvashi severed us very well . She was very professional. Fahad and Urvashi did quick and prefect service. I was in hurry they servered us in time and very polite. Thank you Urvashi for your beautiful smile and make our lunch wonderful with your smile!

Oudhyana, located inside Taj Mahal hotel Lucknow, serves Authentic Nawabi cuisine. Though Lucknow is known for non-veg kababs, best part of Oudhyana is that in addition to sumptuous mutton kababs of various kind, they serve quite a spread of veg kababs. Lotus stem kababs and Dahi ke kababs are a must try. The Nawabi feel and awesome interiors are a bonus!

We got a table on a very short notice period, Mr. Mukesh Singh and Mr. Anil has been the basic and overall help with the most humble and polite behaviour and management skills. I loved it alot on a very special family occasion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I will give it 10/10.. It was a good experience to be there. I really enjoyed everything the atmosphere the food..fantastic

I visited the Taj lucknow for very first time and it was outstanding.I Was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality. Everyone Was helpful and excellent in their work.Best thing I liked about them that I was solo but I didn't find myself same, I mean the staff was really amazing over there, they greeted me very well<br/>Food is very nice. Staff is even better. Fahad helped me in selection of dishes.<br/><br/>I didn't had a reservation, but Mr Fahad managed to get us a table without any wait.<br/><br/>Ambience is very Awhadiyana(Oudhyana). I went for lunch in this restaurant as had read great reviews about it. It was closing time for them however the staff did help us place orders as were celebrating our anniversary. The ambience is very nicely done with the staff being very courteous. We ordered Murgh tikka Mirza Hasanoo in starters which was the best dish for the day and worth a try. In main course we ordered Lagan ka Murgh with Sheermal and Garlic naan. Even though the breads were very good the main course was very salty and we had to return it. The staff did offer to bring something else but we refused that. In desserts we tried their platter which were all good. They also provide us with Lady in pink and a chocolate pastry complementary.

The Oudhyana restaurant had very good food, of note being the Baingan Mirchi ka salan and the mushroom kebabs along with the thandai for vegetarians. the galouti and other non-veg dishes were also good<br/><br/>the decor is also very nice with chandeliers and gives you a quiet royal feel

TAJ! I guess everyone wants to experience TAJ Atleast once so there we were. The experience was mesmerizing as expected. We went there for my friend’s birthday dinner. We are from Hyderabad and we tried this place. The ambience is beautiful but the food was very average compared to many other hotels in Lucknow and the service was also not really great.

Oudhyana is one of the good fine-dining places for Mughlai food in Lucknow. The ambience is lovely in the evening, with a nice poolside view. <br/><br/>About the food - I found some dishes to be exceptional, while others were just average. <br/><br/>The Kakori Kebabs melted in the mouth and the Mutton Biryani had amazing flavours - both are a must try! The Nahari Gosht and Shahi Tukda were two of the average dishes. <br/><br/>All in all, it was a good experience, just a little bit short of a perfect 5/5!

The taste of the food is light and subtle. The price is on the higher side. The service is very good. The staff is courteous. We went on a Saturday and there were 2 folks singing ghazals. The ambiance was really good.

Always great to be here. Have been eating here singce years and the food is always good. When I last visited the place the Rajasthani food festival was going on and they had a good variety to choose from.<br/>Their regular menu is great as always, you can order anything and it will be good.

Went for Raan and was not disappointed. Juicy and succulent fall off the bone meat. Set in a beautiful Taj hotel which lives up to its name. Enough said.

The ambience was no doubt stunning. Oudhyana transports you to the times of yore in true blue royal fashion. The food for me though was sort of a let down. The kebabs are typical Lucknow style, packed with flavour, melt-in-your-mouth, little pieces of heaven. But they're exorbitantly overpriced. For a total of 2 starters, 2 mains and some naans, we paid more than 10K. Had the food been out of this world, it would have been worth it. It painfully wasn't. You'd get better food with poorer ambience for a lot less.<br/>Disappointed with how overpriced average food at this place is.

Food presentation is as per your expectation of Taj.<br/>Food quality differs as per things you will order, I had tried Afghani chicken,Biryani,Nihari Gosht,etc which were as per my expectation however tandoor bread was satisfactory.

No doubt oudhyana ambience is soothing and elegant..bt the food dat i had orderd was not up to the mark ..both panner and bread(naan ) ws not good in taste.. we order kaju and garlic naan ..naan ws so dry and hard dat it ws literally difficult to take a bite..and lastly we orderd kulfi which dey said is dere especialty..and seriously if dats d especiality u hav plz dont keep it guys ..coz its literally disappointing..it ws more like a cold cake..bt ws presentd as a kulfi..not at al soft and sweet like a kulfi..very disappointing...

For starters, the Kakori kababs were exquisite. Our main course consisted of Murg Awadh Korma, breads and Murg Zaffrani pulao. It was light and delicious. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and because of this one of the staff member Mr. Arun brought for us a pastry. This gesture was quite overwhelming. Urvashi was also courteous. Overall, we had a great experience.

Incredible food. It was the freshest and most perfectly cooked food that we had probably ever eaten at a restaurant. All the dishes had just the perfect amount of spice and oil. Sahi Tukda had mild sweetness. It dissolved in mouth just as one would expect it to. Also thanks to Urvashi and Arun for the surprize and their prompt service. Shukriya for making our special occasion memorable.

The blues and whites really soothes you<br/><br/>The seating is wondeful. The staff is really courteous and polite which is typical of every Taj propety.<br/><br/>We ordered Dum ke aloo and gosht nahari with some breads.<br/><br/>Both the dishes were done really well. The Dum alloo was creamy and silky, the potato and its stuffing were seasoned really well.<br/><br/>The gosht nahari was great as well. The gosht was so tender , it was literally falling of the bones . The gravy was perfectly spiced.<br/><br/>It was one of the most satisfying meals and I would love to go back soon!

If you are visiting Lucknow and want to try out authentic Awadhi and other local and regional cuisines, you must definitely dine at Oudhyana. The ambiance here is wonderful. You can surprise your partner by booking a table at the restaurant. The best thing is that the vegetarian dishes and desserts (all local and regional specialities) are also excellent. The staff at Oudhyana,  especially Urvashi, were all very courteous and helpful. They helped us select the local specialities and they were indeed very good!

Special place for special occasions..... Candle light, chandeliers.. Soothing music of tabla and sitar... Awesome place...There speciality paneer tikka was too good.

Excellent non veg food as well. The Sheermal, the Kakori Kebab are to die for. The team can look at instructing additional curry options especially for veg.

Kakori Kebabs were excellent but portion size was too small. Chicken Mirchi Masala is a must try. I found Chicken dishes better than Mutton.<br/>

Staff is very okay okay especially to zomato gold members. Not v polite. Not at all a good experience. However the food was really tasty. So overall okay experience

This time I was little disappointed by the service. Food was cold and I wasn’t even asked for water. I had to look to service for every now then even to get water. I felt bad about the service this time. Humble request, when you are at top, kindly do not neglect even the smallest of their service, it was just not acceptable.

Our experience of this place was okayish kind. Had gone with great expectations. What worked was the ambience, and in food, the desserts. What didn't work was the service and the lackadaisical attitude of waiter. The service aspect is something you expect as a given from a Taj restraunt. In vegetarian food, dahi kebab were nice. Main course was okay kind only. Do try Shahi tukda. Lahsun kheer though hyped was not great.<br/><br/>I wish the oudhi ambience and the old Lucknow charm that this restraunt imbibes is also reflected in the service. After all it is TAJ , hope they live up to the name when we visit the place next.

Yes, this is a rare 5 rater. Got a hint that this is a special place so kept this one for dinner on our last night in Lucknow. No regrets! We started with the thandai. I could have had 5 glasses of that, easy. Its so tasty. In starters we had Kakori kebab with sheermal, Raan mussallm and Murgh tikka mirza hasnoo. The raan mussallam was melt in the mouth and of good taste. Thats not a criticism, if you know the history of mussallams, they were developed to wow the guests with cooking the whole of something rather than its taste. We were appropriately wowed. The chicken, maybe floated Mirza Hasnoo's boat, but didnt float ours. But the Kakori, oh my God! it was like Messi in action, the rest of the eleven doesnt matter. Next time I will have 3 plates of just that. so rich and delectable. Its fine dining folks, so ok to take your time. We took a pause between starters and main course. I was seriously contemplating few more thandais during this period. Finally, main course. In this we had nehari and dum biriyani. Nehari because that was the recommended lamb curry. Lamb curry items are rare on the menu. Know this guys, Luknawi cuisine tilts more towards chicken than towards red meat and the number of chicken items on the menu were far more numerous. We however are not chicken fans and so went for Nehari. It was out of this world. Extremely tasty, worth many rumalis. the mutton in the dum biryani was so soft, it was delicious as well. I regret not tasting the galawati. But we were very full by this time and went straight for dessert. Both the phirni and the jamun e gulkand were amazing. Service was courteous and warm. All in all, a brilliant evening of fine dining. Might even add the Michelin star thing - a visit to Lucknow is incomplete without a visit to Oudhyana. One last thing. they have an intriguing list of non Luchnawi items from other places in UP. Definitely worth a try, looked mouthwatering.

I loved the ambience so exquisite so nawabi ..breathtakingly beautiful decor.I ordered juice which was fresh fruit juice hard to find these days. I ordered kababs and shermal ,biryani and veg pulao the biryani was ok not that authentic and the kababs were great.I ordered shahi tukda which was nice but not again very authentic .Overall a nice place to go out with family.
