I had a lovely time yesterday evening. We were looked after very well by the staff and the young waitresses and it was nice to have a chat with people. I told him how pleased I was to see that you now have a separate vegetarian menu with a lovely selection of starters and main courses. The meal was lovely and we had a lovely time, thank you for making us so welcome.

To begin with I would request Zomato to give an option of putting more than 5 stars may be 10 or 1000 or 100000 stars so that I can add the feather to the cap of Mr. Bhanu ( Manager Saqi - Taj Mahal) and Saqi Taj Mahal. Overwhelmed I can't remember any better word than this. I mean overwhelmed is the feeling with what I came out of Saqi in my last visit on 18th Feb 2019. I am a regular visitor to this place. Everytime I visit there I feel the feeling of "WOW". The gesture the politeness Bhanu serves everytime is simply the best. I would like to add something more: If you're a regular visitor to this place you just need to go and sit there, that's it it's done, he (Bhanu) knows your liquor taste, your food taste, your liquor capacity and everything and he will leave no stone unturned to make you feel happy. Really Thumbs up to Bhanu and Saqi - Taj Mahal team for such an overwhelming experience everytime I visit there. Will keep on going in future too till Bhanu is there. Good Luck.

Extremely slow service and untrained staff. Took 20 mins to get our cocktails even when we were the only people in the bar. So shocking when it comes from Taj.

Having wanted to visit this place for a fairly long time, I finally arrived here on a Sunday evening. I must say that it did not quite live up to my expectations because it was regular & unexciting. It came across to me as a dull and boring bar suitable for people who want to sip on their scotch with classic English songs playing in the background. Otherwise,the service was prompt and servers courteous as one would expect of Taj.<br/><br/>

This place has been renovated quite recently or lets just say post my last visit which i cannot remember was when, Despite 5-Star Hospitality the place has a more lot to offer like dark serene corners where you can enjoy as you please with your loved ones. The place is not huge and hence the usual drunk chatter is quite limited and pleasing to ear.

This restaurant is present in the lobby of the hotel, immediately upon entering and is hard to miss because of its beautiful ambience.<br/>However , the food ordering experience was not very good. Had to prompt the staff to provide menu and then to take order .<br/>The taste of the food is good , nothing extraordinary . Tried paneer tikka and vegetarian pizza . However , the cheesecake was really good. Something I would want to come back for.

The legacy of the place is peerless to an extent, where u not only get the best of taste and the magical aroma but also the royal dining experience of ur life. <br/>I don’t think people will need any intellectual probe, as they are very well aware of the epitome of this place. We’ve had host of Indian gravies best being Kadhai Paneer out of Butter Masala and Dum Aaloo. Also not forgetting the red sauce Pasta which tasted heaven for sure.

Saqi is one of my favourite place as I only visit with my love .We had great time as the staff were very courteous and they served one of the best cocktails here like martini, margaritas or LIIT as well as good starters

Intensity of lights was perfect, the service was what you could ever desire for, and it is neither as expensive as it might seem. Visited this place for drinks on my recent trip to lucknow. <br/><br/>The location of the hotel is great. The service in impeccable. Bhanu is a one man army he does everything from making the drinks, to serving them and even suggesting mouh watering snacks. <br/><br/>We had chilly chicken wings and fish tikka. The chinese starter was awesome, however the Fish tikka could have been better. It was kind of dry. <br/><br/>All in all a classy place to enjoy your drinks.

Always got my friends here for drinks after dinner as there was no other decent lounge in the city for a long long time. The place is small but well done up. Dim lighting for a warm and cosy feel, with wall papers depicting the past nawabi era making it very Lucknow specific.  Prices are on the higher side, for both drinks and the finger food menu. However, one doesn't mind paying just so to witness the Taj experience. Sadly, the slow service and a limited selection off the bar menu has been a disappointment more than once.  Hope things improve with time.<br/><br/>The only USP of the place is the fact that it is safe for girls. Something you expect from a five-star facility.

“for Hukka n Liquor”<br/>its a restaurant inside Taj.<br/>The ambience is good, d music is not dat loud and the food is ok as well.<br/>The best part is u get hukka n liquor both and its not very expensive as any other hotel wud be in Taj.<br/>However they shut really soon, by 12.30 pm and the last order is by 11.45 only.<br/>So either eat ealry or be ready to explore outside to find you food.

The Ambience is just perfect and the hospitality is even better. Food is just as good as a vivanta should host, after all vivantas are known for their delicacies. Caramel bakery next to the area for cake lovers.

I found it out the hard way. We (group of 8 friends) went for the New year party in Saqi which was supposed to be a DJ party. But the bitter part was that there was a DJ but no DJ floor. Aghast!! <br/>Bar area- The size of the bar is smaller than my 3BHK apartment.<br/>Lightings- Poor lightings. It was not at all a party place.<br/>DJ- Guy was average but nothing you expect from Taj.<br/>Food- Very ordinary.<br/>Hukka- Shoddy work. Quality below par.<br/><br/>Overall experience- Disappointed. Taj should seriously consider making some sound changes in its service and property.

the grand vivanta needs to improve a lot when it comes to its restro..<br/>a simple tea is disaster.. i mean what takes u to make a simple cup of decent tea.. ;<br/>uhhh!! in comparison to the ambience and the cost which makes it a classy place to hangout in the food is a disappointing factor.. well i find eating at vivanta a shear waste of my time and money.. Visited the place sevaral times with my friends who use to drink. Its situated just behind the coffee Shop. The decoration is extraa ordinary jazzy setting style n urdu script all over the wall. I m not alcohalic so I just ordered a white sauce pasta n it was awesome.

Went for some drinks with friends. The ambience is good but the service is average.<br/>They have a very good drinks menu with some interesting choices. The Mango margarita was excellent. The mojito was also very good. They use fresh mint and the bartender crushes it in front of you - very nice.<br/>The food was average - we ordered some Thai rolls and chilli mushrooms - they took a while to bring them out and had cooled down a bit.<br/>Prices are quite reasonable for a nice place and very good drinks menu. Would certainly visit again for the drinks.

I had been wanting to go to this place for long and I am glad that one fine afternoon, I finally went there with a friend. With Urdu written all over the wall, the decor is very interesting and so are the sitting arrangements. The place looks certainly much better than other places I had gone to drink in Lucknow and to my much surprise it was also cheaper! The menu offers wide variety of options right from Lucknavi to Pastas. And like other places, this place too has limited option when it comes to cuisines other than Lucknavi or Mughalai. I wish they had more variety in Italian and Thai. But yes they serve all kind of alcoholic drinks at very reasonable rate! 650 ml of Kingfisher just costed me rs 250 which is very cheap for a Five star and all the drinks are served with copious amount of cheselings and salted peanut. <br/>After scanning the menu, we ordered Mushroom Pasta and Thai curry. Nothing great about the Pasta except it was creamy and moist. But Thai curry tasted really good, the distinct flavour of coconut milk and lemon grass made me gorge over it. The exotic vegetables like Broccoli and yellow and red peppers added nice crunch to the curry. It is highly recommended dish and I would to eat it again and again. <br/>In the end, we ordered bull’s eye for the desert which was as good as chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream could be. I wish they had warmed the cake before serving. Overall, it was a very good experience and finally I found a place in Lucknow where I can unwind with my friends with my favourite little dress on!

Taj as a brand doesn't disappoint. Saqi, their club matches those standards. For a small place, they haven't compromised on the brand value. Menu is limited but food's good. Interiors give the perfect club feel and are tasteful, unlike some other shoddy clubs of Lucknow. Recommended when you want to spend that extra bonus you get at work! Thumbs up!
