Review Neelkanth Sweets - Lucknow

This place is essentially a sweets shop but also serves a variety of snack options. We had a breakfast which included cutlets, masala dhokla, a full thali, pyaz kachodi and lastly jalebis for dessert. Everything was decent but I would highly recommend to try out their PYAZ KACHODI.

Neelkanth sweets @Vivek khand-Gomti Nagar,a popular place of the area.Lots of good snack and sweet items including Imartis.The Samosas were good too!!

Always my favorite shop for sweets and khasta aloo. We had stick kulfi. The owner was very polite and we had to travel with the sweets. They packed the stuff really well and there was no spillage.

Best place for mithai chaat & kulfi. Just loved the kulfi falooda, Rabri, tikki & all the chaat items. Have visited Neelkanth many times but always missed to click pics. It’s one of the best place for all types of sweets & chaat items. They have a very neat clean & hygienic setup. Till now whatever we tried has turned out to be tasty & fresh. So if u get an opportunity do try Neelkanth @ Gomti Nagar. Parking can be painful here… it’s mainly on the roads.

Nice All products on offer is fresh and made from pure ingredients tasty and healthy. Over indulgence is had. Not a good place for diabetics

Neelkanth vivek khand branch is Little bit costly but every item they make and serve is extremely fresh and it has its own taste vibe which i am sure that you will not get anywhere else . I tried their Rasmalai and Kesariya Milk and both were mouth watering in Taste . In Coming days i will also try more few items of it.

The owner is good behaviour but sales men are not good behaviour and customer friendly even a big shop the sales men do not provide chatni as per need . I think sales men are doing their own manmarji. Owner please be careful

Aloo tikki here is so delicious and has remained top item since a couple of decades or more. All their sweets are wonderful and the seasonal ghewar we bought was just yum. When in Lucknow, I always visit this place at least once.

This place use to serve best quality food and then there are so frequent price hikes but its worth the quality but from last few months i am seeing the quality being worst of all times.Earlier he used desi ghee for preparation but now most of their items are made up of non desi ghee but the price they charge is of desi ghee.Besides the texture of jalebis are not as we use to get earlier,the taste the quality everything has lowered its level despite of charging much higher than their competitive people.And when you complain them they have this attitude of care about nothing...Highly Highly disappointed in Neelkanth sweets , have been visiting there from past 20 years.

Had ordered fruits and mushrooms for my parents in lucknow, from neelkanth’s emart. The quality was pathetic and got rotten mushrooms with fungus growing on it (pics attached). There was no date of manufacturing mentioned on mushrooms packaging, wrong. Also oranges look old and not in good condition. Its not right to sell overpriced goods and then send rotting items. Its cheating and risking your customer’s health. I was never expecting neelkanth to sell rubbish, in the spirit of being opportunistic at this time. Very disappointing.

Charging 3 times more for groceries during lockdown. Neither the quality of goods are good. Customer should have return policy to throw back all the stuff back to them.

Perfect place for having breakfast . Best food quality . Khasta, Dahi jalebi, chola poori, chola bhatoora everything you will get here for breakfast. They provide hide quality sweets.. It is famous for wide variety of sweets and snacks . Nice place but lack of chairs. Pocket friendly..

Very nice place but lacks chairs for sitting. You have to eat while standing only. Ordered Dahi Batasha from here which was really good. Sabji Puri was really not upto the mark. Overall, average experience.

It was a very bad experience. Half of the things in the menu was not available. Taste was also not god. When asked for extra poori they said they don’t give extra we have to take another full plate.

I like their delicious and chatpati chat plus their yummy and different mithais👌My personal favourite is kali gajar halwa which they serve in winters and many others😋

Best place for sweets and chaat in Lucknow. <br/>Neelkanth serves a wide variety of sweets as well as chaat options all of which tastes absolutely delicious.

We got placed on a standing table which had many plates and bowls already on it. We asked the guy at kachori counter to get it cleaned and he says "Saaf Table pe chale Jaao" Next we also told the man at billing counter but even he refused to get it cleaned. Upset and shaken by behaviour of this so called famous chain we kept eating. Next, a manager who was fat wore white shirt and looked partially high says to us <br/>" Ho rahi hain safai. Jab honi hogi tab karwa denge" when we started shouting at his behaviour he kept staring me and went and started talking to the counter guy. He is like" aree chale he jaayenge hum khaana hain toh khaao" <br/><br/>I must say this is a very pathetic treatment being part of senior management at NTPC I have met the team at Neelkanth many time. They were all calm and soft but it is ridiculous that they hire such staff. I am sorry I am not recommending this place anymore.

Neelkanth Sweets.. started as small mithai shop when Gomti Nagar started from a residential complex.., picked up well due to posh locality surrounding.., still far off from the ace mithai walas, yes some time stale sweets r disposed off, careful.. vv costly, being patronized by contractors n DeMO money.... He used to charge higher GST.. now come done after IT raids...

A place for every sweet tooth who loves Indian Sweets. Their sweets the quality, the portion size, the way they serve is out of this world. Thier packaging is exceptional. I always take some sweets along myself to Pune whenever i am in Lucknow.<br/>

The sweet store is large, but the variety can be increased. They also give an imarti with rabdi combo which is superb. Do try it in the evening when the imarti is served hot.

What an amazing experience I had today.<br/>I wanted to have pani puris but ended up having that plus aloo tikkis too. Super yummilicious. they served it with sweet curd and green chutney with a tinge of red chutney. To it, a bit of grated ginger was added along with aloo bhujia. That was just perfect and omggg it was drooling delicious. I am gonna definitely coming back soon to this place. One of the best sweet shops in Lucknow and a brand itself. Here you also get ready to eat snacks and there is also a chaat counter. Personally I didn't like their paani puri but aloo tikki was superb. It was so tasty that I would love to eat it daily. Also I had samosa there it was good but not the best. The other best thing is their quality. Their quality of snacks and sweets is so good and the place is also hygeinc. I had aloo tikki with dahi,mattar tikki with dahi and mattar tikki with lemon. It's one of the best in Lucknow. I've been eating here for almost 10 years but the quantity seems to be progressively decreasing. Compared to what it was earlier, the quantity is now half. That is why I am giving 3 stars otherwise it would be five stars.

Neelkanth has been around for forever or at least since the day I started to understand names and designs. This place has always been close to my heart through the early morning jalebi samosas or the mouth watering sweets.<br/>The best part is that they always get it right.<br/>You can end your search for sweets here and would recommend trying milk pudding while you are at it.

The flavour is good, but the staff is rude and slow.<br/><br/>Very bad service, considering how popular the chain is you expect a little more. Am a die heart fan of neelkanth's dhoklas... They have a variety of dhokla like normal ,idli and all the dhoklas they have are amazing....Rasgullas and gulab jamun are also good...

Went for some sweet after lunch at dastarkhwan nearby. Tried only the ras malai as I was too full. Rasmalai was great with right amount of sweet. Was soft as well. Can try. They had lot of other options which looked very interesting but couldnt try.

While this is essentially a sweet shop, the chat here is surprisingly refreshing, even though it's not one of the things this place is really famous for. If you're in gomti nagar, try the chat here instead of the famous outlets, you won't be disappointed.

They have many variety with great taste. I specially like MOTI CHOOR LADDO of neelkanth I mean the taste is just mouthwatering.<br/>I eat 500g of MOTI CHOOR alone now you can guess the taste easily.

Wether it is their breakfast- khasta kachauri, Jalebi, Samosa etc or their evening snacks- chat papri, aloo tikki, kulfi and batasha. A neat and clean place with quick and efficient service. I settled for Coconut gulkand laddoo and a special baalu shahi. Both the Sweets were well packed and had a special touch to them. I can surely say it was made from best ingredients.
