Review Zaayka The Essence Of Taste - Lucknow

Although this place is at very odd location the roads are not good. The restaurant seems to be very great, lovable and satisfying. Has a lounge and banquet inside which also very great. The food here is somewhat oily but tasty and delicious. The staff behaviour is also good and cooperative. They accept all kinds of Payment methods. The thing i didn't liked abiut it was the sofas, the chairs are in better conditions but the sofas are not. Since it looks like an old restaurant, yet maintained well , but the sofas are needed to be changed. They also offer to write a review about our experience at the restaurant. It is good to bring family here also to celebrate small functions. They have 2 seats to 6 seats sitting facility. Offer both veg and non veg food at affordable prices.

Catchy from the highway on left, few minutes after BBD, normally not much crowded but taste is amazing, worth a try with family.

I m Disappointed at our follow reviewers, they havent done justice to this place. staff were decent, food was decent too, i saw complain about no card swap which is incorrect, over all its a decent place to stretch your legs and eat some decent food, if you are crossing highway 27.

Good and decent place to throw a small party like birthday anniversary or anything Nice food with lots of variety. Space is more than enough for 150 to 200 people Catering services are really nice. Cleanliness is there and no issue of quality whatsoever. Overall a good place for a small party.

Taste, quantity, quality and delivery is good as it not so far from our residence but we prefer to order at this restaurant whether it is vegetarian or non-veg.<br/>

Its a good restaurant located quite far off the main city but serving the population at the out skirts. I ordered for home delivery and was impressed by the service. The food was packed properly and delivered on time. It was warm when received. Taste was also good and as expected. The ambience is also clean with slow music in a back drop, for dine in.

This establishment is pretty average in taste, quality and service according to me. Quantity of food doesnt matters if the quality is not up to the mark so I wont comment about quantity. Also, it is pretty far away from the city scene and if you are willing to drive that far down then go to some desi dhabas which would be a bit cheaper and better.

Very poor service and management is extremely poor . Crockery served was broken on edges. No Music . Wouldn’t like to visit again... Air conditioner was not working...

Located near Ramswaroop College on faizabad road this place offers nice food in reasonable price,, courteous staff,, ambiance is okk,, tried mushroom masala,veg manchurian and butter naan tastewise food was really good,, you can visit this place with family and friends.

Happen to visit this place on a friend's recommendation and specially for Chinese preparation. The restaurant is located on the highway but can be easily spotted. Straightway ordered for Manchurian, Fried rice and noodles. They have their own version of Chinese and does not qualify as authentic, but the taste was superb. This clubbed with excellent staff and very neat and clean place. overall a great experience. Surprise to see very less rating for this place, it deserves more.

overall it is a nice place, service is good too, chinese food is good here, if you're going for meal order their "mini meal", kadhai paneer and kuchhi paneer is good here, i didn't like the chicken though cause sweetness of cream just puts me off.

You must have seen this place some day or another and would have thought to yourself that we will come to this place one day. That day was friendship day. First thing this place is very near to my home. Preparation is good. Best part is Afghani chicken and Biryani. Food is like treat made at home.

Zaayka is the best place for non veg lovers. Superb ambience yummy foods specially bhuna gosht and wonderful hall for parties. I found the coolest banquet of jashn in this hectic summers. Fantabulous biryani. The quality and richness of the dish is out of the world. Although they dont serve a very generous amount for one person but the taste sidelines all criticisms about the place. Go for biryani and authentic mughlai food.

Situated on Faizabad Road, Zaayka is the only 'polished' family restaurant you will find in the stretch of Faizabad Road beyond Babu Banarasi Das University. Being a multi- cuisine restaurant, it serves a decent number of dishes, most of them tasting average. The restaurant is popular, and frequently visited by students and staff of nearby colleges, as other restaurants nearby are usually the typical 'Dhaba' style joints.<br/><br/>The food tastes average, but a couple of dishes, namely Chicken Tikka Masala, Handi Paneer, and Tandoori Mushroom managed to tickle the taste buds in a better way. The addition of spices to the dishes needs a good check, which was sadly missing in the dishes I tasted here. The dishes were too spicy, and not everyone will enjoy the amount of spices they use in their preparations. Other dishes from the Chinese and Continental section failed to provide any extraordinary experience.<br/><br/>VERDICT : A decent option, if you are travelling on the Faizabad Road highway :)

They excel in indian cuisine especially paneer dishes. Chinese is not up to the mark. Snacks like momos n spring rolls are fine n they serve an awesome sauce with it. Non-veg is also ok. Good for snacking n giving treats in contri although a bit expensive. But its the best place on faizabad road i guess. Their snack n lunch combos are pretty great especially paneer butter masala with baby butter naan.
